수소 충전소용 초고압 볼밸브 설계에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design of Ultra-High-Pressure Ball Valve for Hydrogen Station)

  • Hydrogen energy is the clean energy source of the future. Ultra-high-pressure hydrogen is used in hydrogen stations, with its parts being developed. On the other hand, ultra-high-pressure ball valve, which is one of its parts, depends on overseas, with the level of domestic research on this being only about 10% of advanced technology research on this abroad. In this study, the shape of an ultra-high-pressure ball valve for a hydrogen station was designed to improve its structural strength. The valve body was designed according to distance between both processed body holes along inlet and outlet ports. The designed vale body was then analyzed using ANSYS to check whether points with stress were concentrated. In addition, the valve with improved body was analyzed to confirm that the valve satisfied the design condition.

한국 성인 남성의 공학 해석용 정밀 유한 요소 모델 생성과 뼈의 물성 획득에 관한 연구 (Generation of the FE Model of a Korean Young Male Adults and Determination of Mechanical Properties for Engineering Analysis)

  • 유한 요소 해석을 위해서는 형상과 경계, 하중 조건 그리고 물성을 결정하여야 한다. 그러나 살아 있는 인체에 대해서는 실험이 어렵기 때문에 정확한 형상과 물성을 얻기가 매우 어렵다. 본 논문에서는 한국인 표준체형을 가진 젊은 남성의 생체 자기 공명 영상(MRI : magnetic resonance imaging)을 이용하여 내부 장기를 38가지로 구역화 하고 이것을 이용하여 정밀 유한 요소 모델을 만들었다. 또한 인체를 이루고 있는 다양한 물질들 가운데 뼈에 대한 물성을 얻기 위한 연구를 시행하였다. 인체 뼈의 이방성을 표현할 수 있는 물성을 얻기 위해 성인 남성과 여성의 사체에서 얻은 대퇴골두 시편을 RUS(resonant ultrasound spectroscopy)를 사용하여 탄성 계수 행렬을 얻을 수 있었다.

위치별 진동 측정을 통한 차체강성평가 (Evaluation of Vehicle Body Stiffness by Measuring Local Vibration)

  • Road loads data are indispensable in the evaluation of BSR (Buzz, Squeak, and Rattle) of automotive parts/modules. However, there are uncertainties on the best measurement locations for representative body motion and for seat systems. In the present study, we measure road loads at four different locations of a body. A-pillars on the driver and passenger sides and left and right frame fronts of the front passenger seat mountings are selected to study the acceleration behavior at different locations. The measurements are conducted with passenger cars driving local roads at 50km/hr. The measured time-acceleration data are then transformed into PSD (power spectral density) data to compare the characteristics of local accelerations. By defining the deviated acceleration components from rigid body motion, the stiffness of vehicle body could be simply expressed in a quantitative basis. Measured data from two different vehicles are presented to demonstrate their relative vehicle body stiffness.

차체 소재 다변화에 따른 체결 및 접합기술 (Mechanical fastening and joining technologies to using multi mixed materials of car body)

  • The ultimate goal of developing body is revealed the "lightweight" at latest EuroCarBody conference 2012 and the most core technology is joining process to make lightweight car body design. Accordingly, in this study, the car body assembly line for the assembly process applies to any introduction, particularly in the assembly of aluminum alloy and composite materials applied by the process for the introductory approached. Process were largely classified by welding (laser, arc, resistance, and friction stir welding), bonding (epoxy bonding) and mechanical fastening (FDS, SPR, Bolting and clinching). Applications for each process issues in the case and the applicable award was presented, based on the absolute strength of the test specimens and joining characteristics for comparative analysis were summarized. Finally, through this paper, we would tried to establish the characteristics of the joint for lightweight structure.

철도 차량의 연결기 시스템의 충돌시뮬레이션 (Collision Simulation for the Coupler System of Rolling Stock)

  • In this study, a collision simulator for rolling stock that considers the plastic deformation of the car body and the dynamic characteristics of a coupler system was developed using Matlab/Simulink. Normally, a coupler system has functions for both connecting the individual car bodies and absorbing the impact energy. A coupler system is composed of a rubber buffer, hydraulic buffer, and deformation tube elements. The coupler system should protect the car body and prevent damage when the shunt speed is less than 10 km/h, which is the regulation speed based on the safety rule for rolling stock. However, if the shunt speed is greater than 10 km/h, a car body is plastically deformed. Therefore, the modeling of the plastic deformation of a car body should be included in a simulator. This collision simulator can provide the design parameters for a coupler system and car body.

  • Communication device to use slight movement for serious disabled is proposed. This device is developed mainly for patients suffering from ALS or a cerebral infarction. They often have communication difficulty because of deterioration of muscular functions. Features of this device are that the device is wearable on the user’s body and that it detects the movement of eyebrow. Because of these features, it is quite easy to install the sensor on the patient’s body, not like the conventional sensors. Furthermore, an adaptive communication software is incorporated. A feature of this software is that the arrangement and size of the button and window on the display can be optimized depending on the user's physical ability. In the field test it is confirmed that the communication device developed in this study is successfully helped the people with disability for increasing their communication ability.

일반 비직교 표면좌표계에서의 비압축성 Navier-Stokes방정식의 수치해석 (Calculation of the incompressible Navier-stokes equations in generalized nonorthogonal body fitted coordinate system)

  • In this paper, a numerical procedure for the calculation of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations in a generalized nonorthogonal body fitted coordinate system is proposed and is validated through three test problems. Present numerical procedure derives the pressure equation by using the pressure substitution method on the regular grid system, and discretized momentum equations are based on the covariant velocity components. Cavity flow, backward facing step flow, and two dimensional channel flow with a sinusoidal wavy wall are chosen as three test problems. Numerical solutions obtained by present procedure shows a good agreement with previous numerical and/or experimental results. Convergence rate is also satisfactory.

Metal Fiber와 Throttle Body를 적용한 가정용 응축보일러용 예혼합 버너의 연소특성 (Combustion Characteristics of Premixed Burner for Domestic Condensing Gas Boiler Using Metal Fiber and Throttle Body)

  • 예혼합연소의 경우 연소시스템의 크기가 작고, 낮은 CO 및 NOx 배출 등의 많은 장점을 가지고 있어 고효율 저공해 가정용 응축보일러에 많이 적용되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 Metal Fiber와 Throttle Body를 적용하여 예혼합 연소시스템을 구성하여 연소특성을 분석하였다. 실험결과 Metal Fiber, Throttle Body 및 Baffle Plate의 조합을 통하여 열용량 6,250-25,000 kcal/h 조건에서 매우 안정적인 청염을 형성하였다. 배기가스의 경우 질소산화물은 당량비 0.724에서 0.795 조건에서 11 ppm 이하로 배출되었고 일산화탄소의 경우 동일 당량비 조건에서 50 ppm 이하로 배출되었다. 가정용 응축보일러의 중요 지표인 열효율의 경우 당량비 0.750 조건에서 96.3% 이상으로 측정되어 고효율 저공해 예혼합 연소시스템의 가능성을 확인하였다.

고체 열원이 존재하는 공동 내의 복합열전달 문제의 유한요소해석 (A Finite Element Analysis of Conjugate Heat Transfer Inside a Cavity with a Heat Generating Conducting Body)

  • In the present study, a finite element analysis of conjugate heat transfer problem inside a cavity with a heat-generating conducting body, where constant heat flux is generated, is conducted. A conduction heat transfer problem inside the solid body is automatically coupled with natural convection inside the cavity by using a finite element formulation. A finite element formulation based on SIMPLE type algorithm is adopted for the solution of the incompressible Navier-Stokes equations coupled with energy equation. The proposed algorithm is verified by solving the benchmark problem of conjugate heat transfer inside a cavity having a centered body. Then a conjugate natural heat transfer problem inside a cavity having a heat-generating conducting body with constant heat flux is solved and the effect of the Rayleigh number on the heat transfer characteristics inside a cavity is investigated.

한국인 앉은 자세에 대한 수직방향의 전신진동 피폭에 대한 겉보기 질량의 실험적 연구 (Experimental investigation on the apparent mass during exposure to whole-body vertical vibration for Korean-seated postures)

  • When considering the effects of whole-body vertical vibration, it is valuable to have an understanding of the mechanical characteristics (mechanical impedance and apparent mass) of the body. This paper addresses experimental results carried out to investigate the characteristics of apparent masses fer 41 Korean. The apparent masses of the seated human body in vertical direction were measured during different experimental conditions, such as vibration excitation level (0.5-2 ms$\^$-2/ r.m.s). frequency range (1-50Hz), and upper body posture (relaxed, normal and backrest-upright). We showed the average of all subjects and all conditions and compared the results with ISO5982/DIS (2000).
