The most critical problem of MIS evaluation is the lack of the systematic framework to cover various factors and viewpoints. To solve this problem, this study takes the multi-level and contingent approach to performance evaluation, composed of three levels: evaluating the contribution of MIS to an organization [strategy level]; evaluating the activities of MIS department or MIS function as an organizational sub-function through the overall MIS lifecycle [function level]; and evaluating the quality or productivity of the application systems as MIS outputs [system level]. Ideal MIS evaluation should include all three levels of the hierarchy with balanced importance. However, MIS evaluationcanbedividedintothreetypes,suchasstrategy-oriented, function-oriented and system-oriented evaluation, depending on the focus and emphasis of evaluation. The usage pattern of each evaluation type is analyzed according to contingent variables of MIS evaluation such as MIS maturity, information intensity and firm size, and top management's intent. It is also found that the firms of higher MIS maturity and top management's intent use the strategy-oriented evaluation type, and the firms with strategy-oriented evaluation type show a higher MIS performance. Further, MIS maturity and top management's intent show contingent effects between evaluation type and MIS performance. Some managerial implications can be drawn based on the results of the study. First, strategy-oriented evaluation of MIS is more important as many firms more often use information technology as a strategic weapon. Second, MIS performance varies with evaluation type. Therefore, the design of MIS evaluation framework should be done carefully in the strategic and managerial contexts. Third, firms are recommend to use a different evaluation type according to organizational characteristics such as MIS maturity and information intensity.

To adapt to a rapidly changing business environment, introduction of new management techniques and innovative activities are crucial. In the case of small and medium companies, the compensation for scarce management resources and sustainable development can be obtained from advantage of management consulting. In this study, we propose the enterprise process evaluation model for small and medium business consulting, which can deploy the process improvement activities with considering the process maturity level within an organization. The process evaluation area of proposed Small and Medium Business, Staged Maturity Model (SMB-SMM) consists of four following parts: supply management, demand management, business management, and research and development (R&D) management. For each area, we set goals and also define the practices to achieve their goals respectively. By applying the SMB-SMM model to the small and medium sized companies, the process maturity level can be defined. And then to overcome the gap between the goals and evaluation results, the customized management consulting activities can be drawn from the predefined consulting approaches from the SMB-SMM.

In order to improve business competency by the IS(Information Systems), every enterprise needs to evaluate the current level of IS performance and their utilization. The evaluation that measures the performance of enterprise information systems and diagnoses their effectiveness of business goals and efficiency of resources should represent the useful informations based on sustainable goal-oriented viewpoints to managers. This work develops an integrated evaluation system for continuous maturity of information systems performance, enabling enterprises to achieve their goals of information systems and related business strategies. The integrated evaluation system has been applied to performance measurement of information systems with a huge set of real data from domestic industries for three years, and proven reliable and practical.

Objective: To evaluate differences in skeletal maturity in relation to vertical facial types and to compare differences in the skeletal maturity of the cervical vertebrae and hand-wrist in females. Methods: This study included 59 females aged 7 to 9 years with skeletal Class I malocclusion. The participants were categorized into three groups (low, normal, and high) according to the mandibular plane angle. Skeletal maturity was measured using skeletal maturity indicators (SMIs) and the Tanner-Whitehouse III (TW3) method on hand-wrist radiographs and by using cervical vertebrae maturation indicators (CVMIs) on lateral cephalometric radiographs. Results: The SMI was higher in the high-angle group than in the low-angle group (p = 0.014). The median TW3 bone age was 11.4 months higher in the high-angle group than in the low-angle group (p = 0.032). There was no significant difference in CVMI among the three groups. Skeletal maturity showed a weakly positive correlation with the mandibular plane angle (SMI, r = 0.391; TW3, r = 0.333; CVMI, r = 0.259). Conclusions: The skeletal maturity of the hand-wrist in females with a high mandibular plane angle was higher than that in females with a low mandibular plane angle. Obtaining additional hand-wrist radiographs may facilitate evaluation of skeletal maturity of females. In females with a high mandibular angle, the time to commence orthodontic treatment may be earlier than that in females with a low mandibular angle.

Many previous studies of data quality have focused on the realization and evaluation of both data value quality and data service quality. These studies revealed that poor data value quality and poor data service quality were caused by poor data structure. In this study we focus on metadata management, namely, data structure quality and introduce the data quality management maturity model as a preferred maturity model. We empirically show that data quality improves as data management matures.

Lately, the management of domestic BIM performance is quite lacking, as the evaluation and management data from successful cases of BIM implementation both on projects and in companies, and related effects (time, cost and other physical gains) are not well kept for future use in BIM development. In order to overcome the above obstacles, a systematic approach to evaluating BIM adoption with focus on particular elements like BIM implementation environment and processes, and the physical factors yielded by BIM, is necessary. In this study, objective and detailed assessment indicators and weights that are appropriate for the domestic situation were derived through research for purposes of developing a web-based BIM maturity measurement program that is tailor-made for the Korean construction atmosphere. Through a company's self-maturity measurement, excellent quality of BIM deliverables and output can be achieved and managed. Furthermore, the domestic BIM capacity can gradually increase since design firms' BIM capability can be judged during procurement basing on measurement indicators.

Purpose: The purpose of this research is to develop defense quality evaluation model in order to improve the problem of private sector quality evaluation model and propose the total integrated defense quality management model which enables to evaluate not only large defense industry, but also small-medium industry. Methods: This paper consider the characteristics on ISO 9001 Quality Management System, single PPM, PASS and defense quality and develop defense quality maturity model and index which enables to measure the current quality management level and characteristics and to evaluate operational characteristics in each maturity level for domestic defense industry. Results: From 176 DQMS certified defense industry, the defense quality maturity level is 68,2, C grade. The large defense industry shows, 80.9, A grade; medium industry 69.7, C grade; small-medium industry shows 54.1, D grade. Through the classified types of industries, the current level of quality management of defense industries was diagnosed and the areas to be supplemented for the total quality management were identified. Conclusion: Developed DQMI can be used as the basic information for spreading quality management activities in the defense industry by diagnosing the overall quality management of existing defense industries and quantifying the ambiguity of non-metric measurements and measurement standard that were presented as the threshold of the defense quality management system certification process.

최근 빅데이터 산업의 발전으로 디지털 플랫폼에서 데이터 활용 서비스를 제공하는 사례가 증가하고 있다. 이와 관련해 데이터 관련 분야에서 (메타)데이터 품질, 서비스, 기능 등의 평가에 적용할 수 있는 FAIR 원칙을 데이터 품질 평가에 적용하여 활용하는 연구가 진행되고 있다. 특히, 유럽 오픈 데이터 포털에서는 FAIR 원칙 기반의 평가 모델을 적용하여 이를 기준으로 데이터 성숙도 평가를 시행하고 그 결과를 매년 보고서로 공개하고 있다. 이에 반해 공공데이터 포털에서는 메타데이터를 기반으로 한 데이터 성숙도 평가를 시행하고 있지 않다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 유럽 오픈 데이터 포털에서 데이터 성숙도 평가를 위해 사용되고 있는 FAIR 원칙을 국내 여러 공공데이터 포털 및 데이터 거래를 위해 구축된 빅데이터 플랫폼에 데이터 성숙도 평가를 위한 새로운 모델 제안하고 평가를 시행한다. 제안한 성숙도 평가 모델은 공공데이터 포털 데이터셋 품질을 평가하는 모델이다.

본 연구는 우리나라 중소기업의 인더스트리 4.0의 성숙도, 클러스터링의 지표 요인, 주요 요인이 기업의 자체 평가에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위해 클러스터링 분석을 수행하였다. 80개의 국내 중소기업을 4가지 범주로 분류하면 프로세스, 기술 및 조직 간에 유의미한 양의 상관관계가 있음을 발견하였다. 또한, 성숙도 모델에 따라 테스트된 80개 기업의 대다수는 아직 미성숙하거나 부분적으로 성숙한 것으로 보이며 인더스트리 4.0과 관련된 혁신 전략의 많은 개선과 재평가가 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 마지막으로, 싱가포르 스마트 산업 준비 지수는 국내 중소기업에서 자체 평가를 수행하는 데 적합하다는 결론을 도출하였다. 이러한 결론은 실무자와 연구자에게 유용한 성숙도 및 그룹화 지침으로 제공될 수 있다.

소프트웨어 품질의 중요성이 커짐에 따라, 기업들은 품질을 높이기 위해 테스트에 많은 노력을 기울이고 있다. 최근에는 테스트 성과를 높이기 위한 방법중의 하나로 테스트 프로세스 개선이 주목 받고 있다. 이를 위해 기업들은 SW-CMM(Capability Maturity Model for Software), CMMI(Capability Maturity Model Integration)와 같은 일반적인 프로세스 개선 모델들이나, TMM (Test Maturity Model), TPI (Test Process Improvement Model), TCMM (Testing Capability Maturity Model)과 같은 테스트 프로세스 개선 모델들을 적용하고 있다. 그러나 일반적인 프로세스 개선 모델들은 테스트 관련 이슈를 충분히 다루고 있지 않고, 테스트 프로세스 개선 모델들은 구조가 불완전하거나 내용이 충분하지 않아 적용 시 많은 어려움이 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 TMM 과 CMMI 를 기반으로 조직들의 테스트 프로세스 확립이나 개선을 지원할 수 있는 새로운 테스트 프로세스 성숙도 모델인 TPMM(Test Process Maturity Model)을 연구, 개발하였다. 개발된 TPMM 을 통해 조직에서 테스트 프로세스를 개선하고, 심사하는 것을 지원할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.
