본 연구의 목적은 대입 수리논술고사의 평가요소를 통하여 수리논술고사에 대한 정체성을 규명하고 실제 수리논술고사가 어떻게 출제되고 있는지 살펴보는 것이다. 수리논술고사에 관한 이해를 얻기 위해 2016학년도에 수리논술고사를 실시한 우리나라 25개 대학교 홈페이지에 있는 논술자료집에서 수리논술고사의 평가목표 및 출제방향을 분석하여 수리논술고사의 평가요소를 추출하고, 2015학년도 기출문제를 분석하여 실제 수리논술고사가 어떻게 출제되고 있는지 살펴보았다. 수리논술고사의 평가목표 및 출제방향에 나타난 평가요소는 수학적 지식, 이해력, 논리 비판적 사고력, 문제해결력, 창의력, 표현력, 논증력으로 수리논술고사의 정체성은 이런 능력, 즉 수학적 지식을 포함하는 고차원적인 사고능력과 논술능력을 평가하기 위한 시험이라고 할 수 있다. 또한, 수리논술고사 평가요소에 따라 수리논술 평가기준을 정하고 수리논술고사 기출문제를 분석하였다. 이를 통해 수리논술고사는 평가요소 중 수학적 지식, 이해력, 문제해결력을 요구하는 문제 위주로 출제되고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the understanding of basic knowledge of mathematics for $6^{th}$ grade students in elementary school by an essay test and provide instructional suggestions for teachers. A total of 132 students from 6 classes in 3 elementary schools were tested and analyzed in terms of the characteristics of correct answers and types of incorrect answers. The results showed that students had poor understanding of basic conceptual concepts and principles throughout six content areas of school mathematics curriculum, despite their good performance on mathematical skills. This study included implications to teaching and learning for each of the content areas.

이 연구는 서술형 수학 쓰기 활동이 초등학생의 문제 해결 및 수학적 성향에 미치는 효과를 알아보는데 목적이 있다. 본 연구를 실행하기 위해, 서울B초등학교 6학년 학급에 문제 해결력 및 수학적 성향 검사를 실시하여 동질성을 가지는 두 개의 학급을 선정하였으며, 실험집단에는 서술형 수학 쓰기 활동 수업을 실시하였으며, 비교집단에는 교과서 및 교사용 지도서 중심의 일반적인 수업을 실시하였다. 실험처치는 약 두 달 동안 15회에 걸쳐 실시하였고, 서술형 수학 쓰기 활동의 효과를 알아보기 위해 문제 해결력 검사를 실시하여 두 집단 간 성취도를 t-test로 분석하였으며, 검사지에 나타난 학생들의 서술 내용을 분석하여 문제 해결 과정에서 나타난 특징을 알아보았다. 또한 수학적 성향 검사를 실시하고 그 결과를 독립표본 t-test로 분석하였으며, 서술형 평가에 대한 성향을 묻는 설문조사를 실시하고 학생들의 반응을 분석하였다. 본 연구 결과, 서술형 수학 쓰기 활동은 학생들의 문제 해결력과 문제해결과정, 수학적 성향에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 또한 서술형 평가에 대한 학생들의 인식이 개선된 것으로 나타났다.

The purpose of this study investigates high school students' recognition and realities on the integrated science essay and is to suggest desirable direction of integrated science essay of how eduction. To this end, this paper was a questionnaire developed for use, it consists of the status, the writing skills and recognition of integrated science essay. Firstly, all grade students recognize the interest in integrated science essay class, but the need for third grade boys urgently was feeling. Second, STEAM class as a whole than average preference was. Third, integrated science essay was the most relevant, then was mathematics, languages, philosophy ethics, and social. Fourth, integrated science essay class with boys than girls in grade 1, science essay writing, reading science-related essay books, grammar, knowledge of the science and philosophy of science lessons, classes STEAM, read commentary essay reference all on the item, the higher affinity. Currently being implemented in integrated science essay test compared to the first, team teaching approach in schools project under one class teaches students how many teachers should be made. Second, it would require modifications of course content tailored to the preferences of female preference for science higher grade female students to disappear.

논술에서 요구되는 능력, 즉 논술 능력은 기본적으로 이해력, 논리적이고 창의적인 사고력, 표현력과 같은 고등사고능력이다. 그러나 이러한 논술 능력은 단기간에 신장되지 않는다. 더욱이 수학은 계열성이 강한 학문으로 이러한 능력의 신장을 위해서는 초등학교 저학년 때부터 차근차근 단계에 맞게 준비해야하는 것은 어찌 보면 당연한 일이다. 그러나 현재 초등 수리 논술에 대한 용어의 정의가 없어 사교육 시장을 중심으로 무분별하게 초등 수리 논술이라는 용어가 사용되고 있다. 초등학교는 1학년부터 6학년까지 다양한 발달단계의 학생들이 모여 있는 곳이다. 초등 논술이 입시논술과 그 성격과 지도방향이 다르듯 초등 수리 논술 또한 그 성격과 지도 방향이 달라야 한다. 논술 능력은 단기간에 완성되는 것이 아니므로 어릴 때부터 꾸준한 연습이 필요하며, 더욱 중요한 것은 흥미를 잃지 않도록 하는 것이다. 따라서 초등 수리 논술의 올바른 개념을 정립하고, 성격과 지도방향을 설정하여 후속연구를 활발히 해야 할 필요성이 있다.

From the mid-1990s in Korea, performance assessment has been continuously emphasized in school mathematics and thus many researchers and teachers have been steadily studying this topic. But the concepts relevant to performance assessment and its purposes are very confusing because the mathematics educators' different views and voices are vary. As a result most mathematics teachers experience trouble in executing performance assessment properly and effectively in their math class. This unability for proper execution of performance assessment was once again revealed in this study which dealt with 15 articles on performance assessment. These 15 articles includes almost every article written on the topic of performance assessment that have been published in 4 domestic journals since December 1997. By examining this inability, it is required that its concepts and purposes should be organized with a common view and newly defined in the near future. 본 논문에서는 제7차 교육과정의 특색중의 하나인 교과재량활동시간의 효율적 운영에 관하여 연구하였다. 교과재량 활동시간에 '함께가자! 우리' 프로그램의 운영을 통하여 다양한 수학에 대한 경험, 실생활을 소재로 한 수학문제, 수준별 협동학습 수학에 대한 흥미를 유발시켰으며, 1:1 맞춤학습에 의한 부담 없는 질문과 학습의 분위기 조성 등이 학생들의 자기주도적 학습력을 향상시키는데 많은 도움을 주었음을 알 수 있다.

본 연구의 목적은 한 영재교육원의 초등수학영재의 선발 과정과 문항에 대한 심층적 분석을 통해 초등수학영재의 선발 과정에 대한 시사점을 얻고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위하여 1, 2, 3차 선발 시험별로 학생들의 반응을 바탕으로 정답률을 조사하였고, 2, 3차 선발 시험은 오류 유형을 파악하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 대체로 선다형보다는 단답형과 설명을 요구하는 서술형 문항에서 정답률이 낮았다. 그리고 수와 연산, 논리 영역에서의 성취도에 비해 다른 영역에서의 성취도가 상대적으로 낮다는 것을 알 수 있었다. 본 연구의 결과로부터 앞으로 프로젝트 과제나 프로그램과 연계한 영재 선발에 대한 연구가 필요하다는 결론을 얻을 수 있었다.
