$\cdot$보수성 시멘트 콘크리트 포장의 열환경 특성( I ) (Thermal Environment Characteristics of Permeable Cement Concrete Pavement( I ))

  • This study was undertaken to measure and analyze the thermal environment characteristics of the grey permeable cement concrete pavement(GPCCP), the permeable cement concrete brick pavement(PCCBP) compared with impermeable cement concrete pavement(ICCP) and bare soil(BS) under the summer outdoor environment. Following is a summary of major results. 1) The peak surface temperature was greatest in the GPCCP$(54.2^{\circ}C)$ followed by ICCP$(47.2^{\circ}C)$ rut August 2, 2002, the hottest day$(35.3^{\circ}C\;of\;highest\;temperature)$ during the experiment; peak temperature in the ICCP and BS were $45.5^{\circ}C)$ and $45.3^{\circ}C)$ respectively. 2) Analysis of heat budget of the pavements has revealed that the heat environment was worse in the GPCCP than that in the ICCP and that this was mainly due to a low albedo in the former(0.2) relative to that of the latter(0.4). 3) Analysis of heat budget of the pavements has revealed that the heat environment was worse in the GPCCP than that in the PCCBP, BS and that this was mainly due to a decreased latent heat resulting from a time dependent decreasing impact of rainfall. 4) It is necessary to make cool pavements to further studies on light-colored surface materials for attaining high albdo and construction methods which can enhance the latent heat through the continuous evaporation from pavements surface. 5) Vertical arrangement of pavement layers has not been considered in the present study, which has been focuses on the heat characteristics of the surface layer materials. Accordingly, future studies will have to be empasized on pavement methods including the vertical arrangement of the pavement layers.

전국 작은도서관 운영 실태조사 및 분석 연구 (A Study on Nationwide Survey and Analysis of Operating Small Libraries in Korea)

  • 본 연구는 전국 작은도서관에 대한 기본정보, 소장자료, 시설 및 설비, 인적자원, 예산, 이용 및 이용자, 서비스현황 등 정확한 통계자료를 산출하기 위한 목적으로 크게 4단계의 단계별 조사방식으로 실태조사를 진행하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 조사 결과 도서관법 기준에 부합하는 2010년 현재 전국의 작은도서관은 총 3,349개에 달하는 것으로 나타났다. 전체 3,349개 작은도서관의 소장자료, 시설 및 설비, 인적자원, 예산, 이용현황, 프로그램 등 현황을 분석한 결과 현 실태는 도서관법에서 정의하고 있는 도서관으로서 지식정보 및 독서문화서비스를 제공하기 위해서는 많이 부족한 상황임이 밝혀졌다. 특히 작은도서관의 대부분(80%)을 차지하는 사립 작은도서관이 시설 및 설비, 예산 등 운영상태가 더욱 열악한 실정임이 드러났다. 이런 작은도서관의 열악한 현실을 극복하여 향후 작은도서관 통계 관리 및 운영 활성화를 꾀하기 위한 시사점을 제공하고자 하였다.

  • The purpose of the study is to provide the basic information for the improvement of university libraries in future. To acquire the basic information, the equipments and facilities, materials, personnels and budget elements of university are analyzed. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: 1. University outhorities primary concerned the establishment of universities rather than university libraries. 2. University libraries do not secure the facilities, materials and personnels sufficiently. 3. The realities of university libraries in Korea are very poor condition.

  • PZT(Pb(Zr,Ti)O3)는 우수한 강유전 특성을 가지기 때문에 FRAM (Ferroelectric Random Access Memory) 소자에 응용하기 위해 많은 연구가 진행되고 있다. 스퍼터에 의해 증착된 PZT는 처음에 pyrochlore상으로 존재하다가 후 열처리를 통해 이력 특성을 나타내는 perovskite상으로 천이된다. 일반적인 furnace열처리 방법은 고온에서의 장시간 열처리가 요구되고 Pb-loss현상이나 TiO2와 같은 이차상의 생성 그리고 하부 Pt전극의 roughness증가 및 crack과 같은 문제점이 있다. 최근 들어 후 열처리를 RTA로 이용하는 연구가 진행되고 있는데 이는 열처리 시간이 짧기 때문에 위와 같은 문제점을 개선할 수 있었다. 하지만 RTA방법 또한 어느 정도의 thermal budget이 존재하고 추가적 장비가 필요하며 기판의 전체적 가열공정이므로 다른 CMOS공정과 compatibility가 떨어진다. 따라서 본 실험에서는 위와 같은 문제를 해결하고자 노력을 집중하였고 이를 위한 새로운 열처리 방법을 개발하였다. 즉 Pt 하부전극에 전압(전류)을 인가하여 순간적으로 고온으로 결정화시키는 새로운 공정을 모색하였는데 이와 같은 방법은 열처리를 위한 추가적인 장비가 필요없고 국부적으로 순간적인 가열이기 때문에 glass기판에도 적합하며 RTA보다 승온시간 및 열처리 시간이 짧기 때문에 thermal budget도 줄일 수 있었다.

한국 공공도서관의 문제점과 개선방안 (Problems and Solutions for Public Libraries in Korea)

  • 정보화 시대에 공공도서관이 필수불가결한 기관으로 거듭나기 위해서는 새로운 정보의 생산을 적극 지원하기 위해, 경쟁력 회복과 정보격차의 해소를 지원하기 위해 지식과 정보를 제공하는 정보복지의 핵심기관의 역할을 수행해야 할 것이다. 하지만 현재 한국의 공공도서관은 그 수가 절대 부족하고, 장서도 부족하며, 인력활용이 비효율적이고, 제공하는 서비스도 영세하며, 도서관의 건축구조도 적합하지 않으므로 이러한 역할을 수행할 수 없다. 이 문제점들을 개선하기 위해서는 국가와 기업, 시민이 협력하여 공공도서관의 건립운동을 전개하여 절대수를 늘리며, 장서구입비도 대폭 확충하고, 다양한 서비스 프로그램도 개발하며, 사서는 이용자와 자료의 중개자로서의 전문적인 직무를 수행하도록 하여야 하며, 도서관은 도서관의 이념을 구현할 수 있도록 건축되어야 한다.

A simple estimate of the carbon budget for burned and unburned Pinus densiflora forests at Samcheok-si, South Korea

  • To clarify the effects of forest fire on the carbon budget of a forest ecosystem, this study compared the seasonal variation of soil respiration, net primary production and net ecosystem production (NEP) over the year in unburned and burned Pinus densiflora forest areas. The annual net carbon storage (i.e., NPP) was $5.75t\;C\;ha^{-1}$ in the unburned site and $2.14t\;C\;ha^{-1}$ in the burned site in 2012. The temperature sensitivity of soil respiration (i.e., $Q_{10}$ value) was higher in the unburned site than in the burned site. The annual soil respiration rate was estimated by the exponential regression equation with the soil temperatures continuously measured at the soil depth of 10 cm. The estimated annual soil respiration and heterotrophic respiration (HR) rates were 8.66 and $4.50t\;C\;ha^{-1}yr^{-1}$ in the unburned site and 4.08 and $2.12t\;C\;ha^{-1}yr^{-1}$ in the burned site, respectively. The estimated annual NEP in the unburned and burned forest areas was found to be 1.25 and $0.02t\;C\;ha^{-1}yr^{-1}$, respectively. Our results indicate that the differences of carbon budget and cycling between both study sites are considerably correlated with the losses of living plant biomass, insufficient nutrients and low organic materials in the forest soil due to severe damages caused by the forest fire. The burned Pinus densiflora forest area requires at least 50 years to attain the natural conditions of the forest ecosystem prior to the forest fire.

한국 대학도서관의 장서개발정책과 지침작성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Collection Development Policy and Guideline Establishment in the Korean University Library)

  • University library must have a substantial collection development policy, by which the short and long term plannings are set up to meet the goals of university education and to support university function. Only when university library organizes collection building based on the well-planned policy, can it establish the systematic collection building, which can satisfy users, support continuity of work, use budget efficiently, and solve the space problem by with-drawing the materials. But most Korean university libraries, contrary to many foreign cases, don't have proper systematic collection development policy or guideline that controls overall library work from planning the collection of materials to evaluating and preserving them. Questionaire on whether university library has collection development policy or guideline was answered positively by only 6 cases out of 57 cases, which is just 10.5 percent. Even in cases that they have a guideline, the content of the copied guideline they sent was confined to acquisition, which is just a part of collection development. Collection development is a statement needed to set up long and short term plannings in consideration of the aims of the library and the needs of users and to shape and manage the library collection systematically. With the above conception and definition, we try to make a proper collection development policy and guideline for the Korean university libraries. Here we must define the object of the university. Object of university is to have good curriculum, good courses, research activities on the part of the faculty, enlargement of graduate school, and establishment of various institutes, etc. And in guideline, selector, method of selection, level of selection and arrangement of budget, etc. must be described concretely in its contents. Since collection development policy and guideline of Korean university libraries should concern their situation, we must confer with the result of the survey and analysis on the matter of collection determination. Here the contents include the priority of materials to be collected, method of collecting materials, arrangement of budget, and others. The purpose of this study is to develop a tenative collection development guideline in reference to the Jeonju University Library by means of analyzing the guiding principle, contents of the guideline, and present conditions of the Korean university libraries. The systematic collection development based on the Guideline for Collection Development of the Korean University Library, can offer a satisfactory service to the users of the university community, and also contribute to the development of the university itself as well as the university library.

시.도 및 지역교육청 학교급식 업무 담당자의 직무분석 (Job Analysis of School Foodservice Officials in City, Province and District Offices of Education)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze roles and duties of officials in charge of school foodservice in city, province and district 'Offices of Education'. For this purpose, the list of roles/duties of officials was developed through in-depth interviews, content analysis, and delphi technique. The list which includes 56 duty items in 8 dimensions was used for developing a questionnaire. A total of 282 questionnaires from 102 Offices of Education were used for the analysis. The school foodservice officials regarded 'budget management', 'facilities & labor management', 'developing long-term plan', and 'inspection & evaluation' as important. 'Education and research' and ‘management of nutrition, diet, and food materials' showed higher level of importance and need for support compared to its frequencies of work. There was no significant difference among city, provincial, and district Offices of Education on the levels of importance for each area/category. However, 'Officials in the District Offices of Education' needed more support in the area/category of 'facility & labor management'(p < .01). In addition, there was a significant difference between actual and ideal proportion of work in 'education & research'(p < .001), 'management of nutrition, diet and food'(p < .01), 'other supports for school foodservice'(p < .05) amongst the officials in 'City & Province Offices of Education'. For 'officials in the District Offices of Education', actual and ideal proportion of work was different in 'planning & coordination'(p < .01), 'school foodservice program management'(p < .001), 'education & research' (p < .001), 'management of nutrition, diet and food materials'(p < .001), and 'budget management'(p < .001). The results of this study showed that the areas of 'budget management', 'facility & labor management', and 'developing long-term plan', inspection & evaluation' needed more support for 'City & Province Offices of Education'. 'Officials in the District Offices of Education' also needed more support in the areas of 'budget management' and 'facility & labor management'.

Ni/3C-SiC 계면의Ohmic 특성 (Ohmic Characteristics of Ni/3C-SiC Interface)

  • 본 연구에서는 3C-SiC의 ohmic 접합에 대하여 그 전기적 특성과 미세구조의 상관관계에 대하여 분석하였다. 표준사진식각 공정을 통하여 ohmic접합 금속으로서 Ni을 진공증착시켜 일련의 TLM패턴으로 열처리에 따르는 전류-전압 특성을 조사하였고 TEM, SEM, AES, EDS를 사용하여 Ni/SiC 계면에 대한 미세구조, 화학적 특성을 분석하였다. 열처리 온도와 시간을 통한 thermal budget이 증가함에 따라서 접촉저항이 감소되었으며 그 값은 $10^{-2}$-$10^{-4}$$\textrm{cm}^2$의 범위에 속하였다. EDS와 AES를 통하여 7$50^{\circ}C$이상의 열처리 후 silicide(NiSi$_{2}$)의 주변에 carbon층이 형성되는 것을 확인하였으며, 열처리 온도가 증가함에 따라서 island형 silicide의 크기가 조밀해지며 SiC와의 접착성이 향상됨을 알 수 있었다. Ni/3C-SiC ohmic 접합의 전기적 특성은 계면에 생성되는 silicide와 carbon의 형성거동에 의하여 결정되는 것으로 믿어진다.
