In this paper, we will introduce the predominant case on the marine leisure business of the overseas. Many countries foster the tour and leisure industries as a national strategic industry of the 21st century. The tour and leisure industry is expected to be reorganized from the land-based industry to the ocean-based industry as the GNP in a nation is over USD $20,000{\sim}30,000$ dollars. In Korea, since we adopt a five-day week, the total working hours for a week is shortened. As the result, leisure activities in family, such as experience tour, ecological tour, travel, and overnight tour, are expected to be increased. Leisure and sports tours, which link the tour and sports to rafting, hang gliding, and marine leisure, have been also increased over 21.6%. A number of small and big islands near Ho-Nam coastal areas play an important role as natural breakwater. Thus, the ports in Ho-Nam area is safely protected from physical effects by ocean waves and is maintained without constructing a breakwater. In this paper, we analyses the required conditions as the marine leisure base in the southwest sea area which has the natural advantages for marine leisure. We also discuss how to activate the yacht business on Ho-Nam coast area. And then we analyse the present situations and obstacles of a domestic marine leisure. We also suggest the plan to build up echo-marine leisure infrastructure for industrial growth of marine leisure in Ho-Nam area.

This paper describes two kinds of personal hand-held electronic devices to support marine leisure safety. The one is Radar response-type safety device triggering by the pulse signal from a commercial 9GHz-band Radar to provide quick search and rescue with combined civilian-government-military fleets. The other one is M-RFID (Marine Radio Frequency IDentification) based safety electronic device using 900MHz Tx/Rx with spread spectrum frequency hopping and GPS. Through the field tests at sea using Korea Coast Guard's warship the operating performances are verified. Further plan for practical use of each device was also discussed.

The power system of leisure ship has a character of stand-alone type, so it continuously checks the usable power. Especially, the leisure ship using renewable energy needs to adjust the power consumption of loads according to the usable power. Also, the important loads of leisure ship are different by operation mode. However, current power management system doesnot consider such character. This paper studied load management system of the SPMS(Smart Power Management System) and composed using the smart plug. The SPMS controls the loads depending on a user's pattern and character through variable priority number control. This control algorithm was verified through simulation of assumed user and situation using LabVIEW.

Changes such as expanding nationwide road networks, 5-day work system and income increases triggered high interest in water leisure and an increase in water sports population. And safety regulations have been under discussion as a possible way to prevent the water leisure related accidents. Water Leisure Safety Regulation was enacted in 1999 and fully revised in 2005. Therefore, it is necessary to examine the current state cf water leisure activities and how the water leisure safety regulations are perceived. For this purpose, a survey of water leisure people was conducted on the revised safety regulation and relevance and correlation between variables were examined using Frequency analysis and Crosstabs. The results showed that more than $60\%$ of the people surveyed acknowledge the necessity of registration, safety instruction, insurance, and safety inspection. It was also found that the people who are highly dissatisfied with the safety of water leisure apparatus and acknowledge the necessity of insurance showed strong opinion of the necessity of legal controls on water leisure activities.

A leisure ship has a stand-alone type power system, and a generator is in use on this condition. But the generator cannot be operated in condition of leisure activity, ocean measurement and etc, because of environment and noise. Recently, renewable energy system is connected with power system of the leisure-ship for saving energy. The renewable energy system can not supply the stable power to leisure-ship because power generation changes according to weather condition. And most of the leisure ship is operated without methodical power management system. This study's purpose is to develop SPMS(Smart Power Management System) algorithm using the renewable energy (photovoltaic, wind power and etc.). The proposed algorithm is able to supply stable the power according to operation mode. Furthermore, the SPMS manages electric load (sailing and communication equipment, TV, fan, etc.) and reduces operating times of the generator. In this paper, the proposed algorithm is realized and executed by using LabVIEW. As a result, the hour for operating the generator is minimized.

By becoming 21st century which run be charactered as highly industrialized society which spreads diversification and individualization, there have been elevation of income level and increase of time for leisure activity by introducing 5 working days system. And this brings out increasing of aquatic leisure activity population and the contents of the leisure becomes very active. Static indoor activity which was the main current of the leisure activity in the past, however, it is now called for outdoor activity accompanied by the society growth and even expands towards that people get into action and experience by their own free will. With this point of view, the aquatic leisure run become a safe activity. But with a rapid growth of aquatic leisure activity, safety concerns become a serious problem. To prevent safety accident, training should be given, safety inspection and registration should be requested, and strong support of system is needed so users can have an insurance for safety accident. These complements are necessary for overall nourishment and management measure to charge in systematical safety for the users.

국민소득 증대와 주 5일 근무제 시행으로 육상레저관광에서 해양레저관광으로 그 추이가 이동되고 있다. 해양레저를 즐기고자하는 수요는 증가하고 있으나, 기반시설 부족으로 활성화가 이루어지지 못하고 있는 실정이다. 특히 우리나라 서남해안 해역은 2,000 여개의 다도해가 자연방파제 역할을 하고 있으므로 해양레저 산업을 활성화 시키는데 적합한 천혜의 자연조건을 보유하고 있다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라 해양레저 기반시설의 현황과 문제점을 분석하고, 서남해안 해양레저 산업 활성화에 필요한 친환경 마리나 시설 구축에 관한 자연조건, 해상조건 분석, 다목적용 마리나 시설에 관하여 논한다.

The design trend of leisure boat has been developed through interrelation of maritime culture and ships. We studied the design trend of leisure boat of several countries with advanced maritime culture and proposed digital design process of electric boat exterior that could reflect sensibilities of Korean customers. The result could be useful to domestic small and medium-scale shipbuilders currently face global financial recession and new challenge to focus on development of eco-friendly leisure ships.
