In this paper, we analyze the performance of the network management system with intelligent mobile agent system. The proposed system dynamically selects appropriate its destinations. Thus, the system has an advantage of flexible network management in mobile network environments as well as dynamic change of traffic. Comparing its delay and throughput performance with the conventional SNMP based network management system, we find that the proposed mobile agent system performs better efficiency than the conventional one.

The conventional management which had economic requirement such as productivity, competition, customer satisfaction, and return needs the environmental management in order to meet a change of the external situation such as the environmental requirement (such as resources reduction, pollution prevention, and waste reduction). However, there have been a few studies which try to investigate internal factor and to regard external factors as negative ones. This paper proposes the external factors are significant to the performance. Several hypotheses were developed regarding the relationships. Based on the collected data from 126 firms, the hypotheses were analyed with SPSS.

Best practices are the best ways to perform a business process. Benchmarking, the search for those best practices that will lead to superior performance of a company, is indispensible to gain and maintain a competitive edge. Best practices of quality management in the world-class companies are examined. Customer-centered strategy, employee selection and training, employee satisfaction, customer satisfaction, performance measurement are considered in this paper.

본 연구의 목적은 금리추세가 국내생명보험회사들의 자산운용 실태에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 문제점을 도출하고, 자산운용전략에 대한 방향성을 제시하고자 하였다. 연구방법은 2000년~2014년 동안에 국내 생명보험회사들의 자산현황 및 운용자산 내역, 자산배분실태, 유가증권 내역을 시계열 분석하였고, 총자산 및 자산별 수익률을 분석하였으며, 금리 주가와 운용수익률 간의 상관관계와 회귀분석을 실시하였다. 분석결과는 안전자산인 국공채의 비중은 증가한 반면에 위험자산인 주식의 비중은 감소하여 수익성 보다 안정성 위주로 자산운용을 하고 있었다. 금리와 총자산수익률, 운용자산수익률, 유가증권수익률 간에 높은 양(+)의 상관계수가 산출되었으며, 금리와의 상관관계에서 총자산수익률 보다는 운용자산수익률의 상관관계가 높았고, 운용자산수익률 보다는 유가증권수익률의 상관관계가 더 높았다. KOSPI 주가지수와 운용수익률 간에는 상관계수가 음(-)으로 나타났다. 시사점은 안정성 위주의 자산운용으로 금리하락이 역마진 리스크를 높이고 있어서 자산운용의 변화가 필요하다는 것이다.

본 연구는 인사관리의 운영방식이 기업의 성과에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 첫째, 인사관리의 일차적인 목표, 인재선발방식, 인사관리의 운영방향은 거의 모든 성과변수에 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 인사관리의 일차적인 목표를 고정적인 인건비 절감보다는 근로자의 애사심 고취에 둘수록, 단기고용의 외부충원보다는 장기고용의 내부육성방식을 선호할수록, 단기적 성과 향상보다는 장기적 관점에서의 근로자 육성 개발에 무게를 둘수록 노동생산성, 제품 및 서비스의 질과 혁신성, 근로자 주도 혁신활동, 이직률 감소, 노사관계에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 한편, 인사관리의 일차적인 목표와 인재선발방식은 재무적 성과에도 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤으나, 인사관리 운영방향은 재무적 성과에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 못했다. 둘째, 주 활용근로자 유형은 제품 및 서비스의 질과 노사관계에 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 비정규직보다 정규직 근로자를 활용하려는 노력은 제품 및 서비스의 질과 노사관계에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 셋째, 인사관리의 운영 단위는 제품 및 서비스의 혁신 정도에 영향을 미쳤다. 즉, 인사관리의 운영 단위를 팀워크보다는 개인의 업적/성과에 둘수록 제품 및 서비스의 혁신 정도에 긍정적인 영향을 미쳤다. 본 연구는 대규모 패널 데이터 분석으로 인사관리의 운영방식이 기업의 재무적 또는 비재무적 성과에 어떠한 영향을 미치는지 그 효과를 구체적으로 검증한 데 의미가 있다.

As subsriber's requirements for high quality of telecom service are increased, a telecommunication network becomes complex and huge, and its management becomes an essential and an important factor in the evolution of telecommunication networks. In this paper, we focus on the network performance management and discuss the strategy of near real-time performance evaluation and control in Korea Telecome (KT) networks.

This paper focues on development and implementation of a perfomance management algorithm for IEEE802.4 token bus networks to serve large-scale integrated manufacturing systems. Such factory automation networks have to satisfy delay constraints imposed on time-critical messages while maintaining as much network capacity as possible for non-time-critical messages. This paper presents the structure of a network performance manager that possesses the knowledge about perfomance management in a set of fuzzy rules and deriving its action through fuzzy inference mechanism. The efficacy of the performance management has been demonstrated by a series of simulation experiments.

This study bridges the gap between management accounting, CG and entrepreneurship disciplines. Unlike previous studies, this study adopts a positivist approach to develop a contingency framework of CG that operationalises the conformance and performance dimensions into measurable constructs. The contingency framework also adopts a holistic approach that investigates the interrelationships between VBM, CG and CE, as important predictors of organizational performance, which can provide insights into the complementary or conflicting relationships among these predictors in their effects on organizational performance.

As electronic commerce under the digital economy environment evolves rapidly affecting the structure of our economy and individual life styles, the need for metrics system to evaluate the performance of electronic commerce activities remarkably increases. Reviewing the characteristics of electronic commerce and some issues related to its measurement, this paper proposes a framework to measure the performance of electronic commerce business activities. the proposed framework customizes the balanced scorecard method for electronic commerce practices and can be applied effectively to electronic commerce businesses as an appropriate measure.

Drawbacks of using sigma level as a performance metric is reviewed. The concept of sigma level is introduced and methods of calculating sigma levels for various cases are illustrated with examples. Drawbacks of using sigma level as performance metric are also discussed with some suggestions for overcoming them.
