남성의 외모관리 행동과 정보탐색과의 관계 고찰 (Relationship between Appearance Management Behavior and Information Search of Male Workers)

  • 인류역사와 함께 해온 인간의 미의식에 대한 기본적 욕구가 현대의 경제적 사회적 변화의 추이에 따라 보다 개인화 다양화 되었으며, 여성에 비해 매스미디어의 접속과 경험이 상대적으로 높은 남성들의 경우 외모관리를 위한 정보 획득과 공유를 미디어 상에서 빠르게 적용 및 활용해 가는 특징이 강하다. 본 논문에서는 현대 남성상의 이미지와 특징을 분류 정리하였으며, 남성의 외모관리와 정보탐색의 관계를 정보매체 유형을 분석하였다. 또한 남성의 외모관리행동과 특징을 메이크업, 헤어관리, 피부관리, 손발관리, 성형수술로 구분하여 정보매체별 탐색 관계를 고찰하였다. 이는 남성소비시장을 타깃으로 한 미용, 화장품, 병원 등의 산업군에서 홍보마케팅 정보로 유용한 가치가 있을 것으로 보여 지며, 외모관리를 위한 정보탬색을 위한 매체 유형 선호관계를 이해함으로써 광고마케팅 전략 수립에 가치 있는 정보로 작용하리라 본다.

뷰티서비스 고객만족 요인의 탐색적 접근 - 헤어미용 서비스를 중심으로 - (Exploratory approach to customer satisfaction factors of beauty service - Focusing on hair beauty services -)

  • Despite accelerating market changes in the beauty service industry, there are still inadequate service education programs and a lack of objective data and research to develop systematic policies to strengthen competitiveness, thereby fostering the beauty service industry. Accordingly, this study will examine the factors that affect customer satisfaction in terms of customer touchpoints, hence uncovering what the beauty service needs to develop systematic customer service education programs. It aims to contribute to the improvement of beauty service quality by providing basic empirical data that is necessary to build service education programs and strengthen the touchpoint staffs' job competency. A total of 16 people, 8 male, and 8 female customers in their 30s and 40s, who have ever used hair shop services in the metropolitan area, and 8 male and female hair designers and owners, were interviewed during a 9week period from October 31, 2017, through December 30, 2017. The data was analyzed as follows in order to measure service quality, SERVQUAL was revised and supplemented according to the purpose of this study, and a table for customer satisfaction factors was constructed. In addition, the results of the study were derived by classifying the relations among the customer satisfaction factors with respect to the interviews. The results show that the price of hardware, the location of the store, and hair designers' ability, which are the direct components of customer satisfaction, have a great influence on the customer satisfaction considered when selecting the beauty services (hair shops). In addition, it can be seen that human services including human-ware, which are accompanying services make up a high proportion considering customer satisfaction factors.

유치열에 나타난 삼중치에서 치수 치료 : 증례 보고 (Pulp Treatment of Triple Tooth in Primary Dentition: Two Case Reports)

  • 유치열에서 드물게 관찰되는 삼중치는 세 치아의 비정상적인 융합으로 나타난다. 몇몇 문헌들에서 이중치에 대해 보고하고 있지만, 삼중치에 대한 보고는 매우 드물다. 이러한 다중치는 유치열에서 더 흔하게 관찰되며, 몇 가지 임상적 문제점을 나타낸다. 심미적인 문제 뿐만 아니라 치아 우식증 및 파절에 취약함, 영구 치배의 결손, 교정적, 치주적 문제를 야기할 수 있으며, 복잡한 치아 구조로 인해 치수 치료를 어렵게 한다. 첫 번째 증례는 만 1세 7개월 남아의 상악 유전치부에 나타난 삼중치로, 깊은 우식으로 치수 치료가 필요할 것으로 예상되었고, Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA)를 이용하여 부분 치수 절단술을 시행하였다. 두 번째 증례는 만 1세 9개월 남아의 하악 유전치부에 나타난 삼중치로 파절을 주소로 내원하였다. 파절편 조각을 제거한 뒤, 잔존 치아에서 치수 절제술을 시행하였다. 각각 24개월, 6개월간의 정기 검진시까지 특별한 합병증은 나타나지 않았으며, 수복물 또한 비교적 양호하게 유지되었다.

Favorability's Difference of Beard Type According to Perceiver's Characteristic

  • The modern people do express their personalities by appearance and actively use the appearance as the social tools, and the attractive appearance largely does influence the human relationship. As the appearance's importance is being magnified, the attractive appearance and favourable impression is an important standard for job performance and social position, and used as the way to reach the social goal. This study does investigate the design's kind and character of the beard which belongs to the male exclusive property and compare the differences of the impression's formation according to the beard design. The empirical results confirmed that the male beard design formated the various impressions according to the designs and their mutual relationship existed. Therefore, the beard is a symbol of maleness and an expression for the social position and personal character, whereas it possesses the very important meaning as the influencing factor on the impression's change. First, the pre stimuli were finished through the pre survey for composition of questionnaire in order to evaluate the impression after selection of experimental models and beard types for measuring instruments. Second, sixty three university students were surveyed by pre stimuli and questionnaire as pre experiment, and afterwards the measuring instruments and experimental design were revised. Third, the stimuli completed (nine beard designs) were intentionally well distributed as questionnaire by sex and ages in Seoul metropolitan and her environment. and the factorial analysis and the coefficient of Cronbach's ${\alpha}$ for reliability test were completed for questionnaire's validity using SPSS/PC+ Window Ver. 12.0.

결장루형성술 환자 간호를 위한 일 연구

  • This study is designed to find out proper nursing activities for the needs of the colostomy patients, i.e., mental and psychological as well as physical needs for rapid recovery, and to help them build up the follow-up care for proper social adjustment. The study is based on 268 cases out of 381 colostomy patient's records kept in Ewha Womans University Hospital, Yonsei Medical Center, and National Medical Center in between the period from Jan. 1953 to Jan. 1970. The items of study are mainly on etiology, sex, age, duration of hospitalization, mortality rate, seasonal frequency, time from the onset of illness to the admission of the hospital, signs and symptoms. 1. Frequency of onset by etiology: Neoplastic disease 112 cases (42%), Inflammatory disease 33 cases (12%), Congenital malformation 30 cases (11%), Intussusception 25 cases (9.3%), Trauma 24 cases (9%), Volvulus 17 cases (6.3%), and Crohn's disease 6 cases (2.2%). 2. By sex: male 167 cases (62.9%), and female 101 cases (37.1%). So the ratio of portion of male and female 2:1. 3. By age: under 1·year·old 27 cases (10.1%) highest, 41-50 yrs 54 cases (20.2%), 51-60 yrs 42 cases (15.5%), above 71 yrs 5 cases (1.9%). 4. Duration of hospitalization: the shortest is 2-days and the longest is 470 days. 1-20-days 52%, 40-60 days 14%. 5. Mortality rate: Under the 10-days-admission 19.5%, and the beyond 30-days-admission 3.9%. 6. Seasonal frequency: Higher in summer (32% ). 7. Signs and symptoms: abdominal pain (56%), abdominal distention (54%), vomiting (40%), bloody mucoid diarrhea (38%) , pain of anal region (18%), abdominal tenderness, anorexia, indigestion, constipation, disuria, tenesmus, high fever and chilling sensation, bile tingled vomiting. Nursing activities for the patient's physical needs are as follows: Skin care for colostomy region, Prevention of colostomy constriction and depression, Removal of an offensive odor, The use of colostomy bag-selection for, and demonstration of the use of inexpensive colostomy irrigation equipment, Personal hygiene, general skin care, care of hair, finger nails and toe-nails, Oral hygiene, sleep and rest, aquate, Daily activities, etc. Measures for regulation of bowl movement. Keeping the instruction of taking food, Preparing the meal and help for anorexia, Constipation and it's solution, Prevention of diarrhea, helping the removal of mucous, and stretch constricted steam as needed. Nursing activities for pt's socio-psychological needs are as follows; Help the patient to make decision for the operation, Remove pt's anxiety toward operation and anesthesia, To meet the pt's spiritual needs at his death bed, Help to establish family and friends cooperation, Help to reduce anxiety at the time of admission and it's solution, Help to meet religious need, Help to remove pt's anxiety for loosing his job and family maintenance, Follow-up studies for 7 cases have been done to implement the present thesis. The items of the personal interviews with the patients are as follows: Acceptability for artificial anus, The most anxious thing they had in mind at the time of discharge, The most anxious thing they hat·e in mind at present, Their friends and family's attitudes toward the patient after operation, Relations with other colostomy patients, Emotional damage from the operation, Physical problem of enema, irrigation, Control of diet, Skin care, Control of offensive odor, Patient's suggestions to nurses during hospital stay and after discharge. In conclusion, the follow-up care for colostomy patients shares equal weight or perhaps more than the post-operative care. The follow-up care should include the spiritual care for moral support of the patient, to drag him out of isolation and estrangement, and make him fully participate in social activities. It is suggested that the following measures would help to rehabilitate the colostomy patients (1) mutual acquaintance with other colostomy patients if possible form a sort of club for the colostomy patient to exchange their experiences in care (2) through the team work of doctor, nurse and rehabilitation specialists, to have a sort of concerted effort for betterment of the patient.

Study on Emotional Words and Favorableness Associated with the Faces of Women in Their 60s

  • This study, using the free language association method, examined the characteristics of emotional words of respondents who were exposed to facial photos of women in 60s, and favorableness and favorable styles of them. To analyze mood characteristics on the faces, they were divided into positive mood words and negative mood words. Following previous researches, they were divided into introversion, extraversion, and ambiversion. It was found that the proportion of positive emotional words respondents used was 37%, and that of negative ones was 63%, demonstrating that respondents are more likely than not to get the negative impressions from the faces of their contemporaries. The characteristics of the words consists of 38% introversion, 47% extraversion, and 14% ambiversion. And, respondents used the words like 'beautiful' and 'good-looking' to the stimuli to which they felt favorable, and 'ill-tempered' and 'stubborn' to the stimuli to which they felt unfavorable. Third, the most favorable style to both male and female respondents in 60s were sentimental and good-mannered. They generally favor women who are soft and caring, and dislike talkative, snobbish, and thick make-up women. The analysis results in this paper may help image making and personal relations. Further study needs to expand the survey area to ensure more significant influence on the social life and interpersonal relationship of senior citizens.

Use of the Non-electrophoretic Method to Detect Testis Specific Protein Gene for Sexing in Preimplantation Bovine Embryos

  • Testis-specific protein (TSPY) is a Y-specific gene, with up to 200 copy numbers in bulls. In order to make bovine embryo sexing under farm condition more feasible, the possibility of using a non-electrophoretic method to detect the TSPY gene for sexing bovine early embryos was examined. Primers were designed to amplify a portion of the TSPY gene and a common gene as an internal control primer. PCR optimization was carried out using a DNA template from bovine whole blood. Furthermore, embryo samples were diagnosed by this method and the sexing results were contrasted with those of the Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification (LAMP) method. The results showed that TSPY was as reliable a sexing method as LAMP. Forty-three morula and blastocyst embryos collected from superovulated donor dairy cattle were sexed by this method, and twenty-one embryos judged to be female embryos were transferred non-surgically to recipients 6 to 8 days after natural estrus. Out of 21 recipients, 9 were pregnant (42.86%) and all delivered female calves. The results showed that the sex predicted by this protocol was 100% accurate. In conclusion, the TSPY gene was a good male specific marker and indicated that a non-electrophoretic method was feasible and accurate to detect the TSPY gene for sexing preimplantation bovine embryos.

음성과 인상의 관계규명을 위한 실험적 연구 (Voice and Image: A Pilot Study)

  • When we hear someone's voice, even without having met the person before, we usually make up a certain mental image of the person. This study aims at investigating the relationship between the voice and the image information carried within the voice. Does the mental picture created by the voice closely reflect the real image and if not, is it related with the real image at all\ulcorner To answer the first question, a perception experiment was carried out. Speech samples reading a short sentence from 8 males and 8 females were recorded and pictures of subjects were also taken. Ajou University students were asked to participate in the experiment to match the voice with the corresponding picture. Participants in the experiment correctly match 1 female voice and 4 male voices with their corresponding pictures. However, it is interesting to note that even in cases of mismatch, the results show that there is a very strong tendency. In other words, even though participants falsely match a certain voice with a certain picture, majority of them chose the same picture for the voice. It is the case for all mismatches. It seems that voice does give the listener a certain impression about physical characteristics even if it might not be always correct. By showing that there is a clear relationship between voice and image, this study provides a starting point for further research on voice characteristics: what characteristics of the voice carry the relevant information\ulcorner This kind of study will contribute toward the understanding of the affective domain of human voice and toward the speech technology.

자동차 TV광고의 스토리텔링에 내재된 이데올로기 비판 - 2008~2010년 그랜저 TV광고를 중심으로 (Criticism of Inherent Ideology in the Storytelling of Car TV Commercials - Focusing on Grandeur's TV Commercial in 2008~2010)

  • This writing verifies ideology producing unethical stratification or discrimination targeting on Grandeur's TV commercial after 2008. And attempts to point out the utopia desired by those commercials reproduces distorted ideology at Korean society. To achieve this, the analysis model was postulated utilizing narratology and semiotics system in application of methodology. The result of discussion, is that the 2008 'Grandeur New Luxury' commercial can have utilized the inflected patriotism and sexual fantasies as the core strategy of storytelling. The fact trebly othering women's body from the point of view of gender ethics can be pointed out as the biggest problem in this commercial. 2009 'Grandeur New Luxury' frankly stimulates costumer's desire of stratum rise and possessiveness, circulating the logic 'owning a vehicle' is a proof of their existence. Also considering the meaning woman narration takes up in corresponding commercial, criticism utilizing feminine signifier as a tool to reinforce male success legend was available. Finally 2010 'The Luxury Grandeur' commercial was able to make a judgement using the mechanism of present consumption culture cleverly which Baudrilliard and Althusser has critically recognized. Reminding TV commercials exerts control power against unspecified many sitting in front of the TV, continuous studies with same interest are needed in the future. This writing will be able to have a meaning as attempting narratological methodology for analyzing the storytelling of car TV commercials. But systemizing the criticism about the commercial as a single narrative with going through theoretical supplementation is being respected in the future.

인체의 구조와 기능에 관한 국민학생들의 개념 조사 (An Investigation of Elementary School Children's Conception on the Structure and Function of the Human Body)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate elementary school 6th grade children's preconception on body's digestion, circulation, breathing and excretion. By means of questionnaire, teacher is presented with misconception which students may have. On the basis of this way, firstly they draw up and put in free-concepts were investigated from objective test and sought after misconeption which student had and inquired whether the result of response made difference by sex and areas or not The result of study is as follows: 1. In the course of investigating and analyzing mis-preconecptios, teacher had misconceptions partially, as like students. 2. Many a student have misconceptions: nourishment in made for itself in body. 3. In circulation range most of students know that heart is making blood, and they don't make conception that blood is nourishment which was eaten from food. 4. They know the breath is only physiological function: they breathe to live. All air-breathing is necessary. 5. They are not relevant blood in course of urine and sweat formation they have non-scientific conceptions which water eaten is so. They know that all of sweat and urine and ordure is excretion. To sum up, many student have misconceptions as for digestion and circulation and breath and excretion of body especially. Circulation and excretion is more so. if inspection in a field of sex, they will know male had less misconceptions than female. in a field of region, student from rural are as had more misconceptions than the one from urban areas.
