The purpose of this study was to determine the association between depressive symptoms and psychological stress, and to investigate the factors affecting depressive symptoms among male high school students. The study subjects were 573 male students surveyed from a self-administered questionnaire in October 2015. As a result, the distribution of psychosocial stress of surveyed students was 14.8% of health group, 71.9% of latent stress group, 13.3% of high-risk stress group. Depressed level of 71.4% of the distribution is normal group, mild depression group 25.30%, moderate depression group 3.0%, 0.3% was severely depressed group. The factors influencing the students' depressed levels were subjective health status, whether breakfast, sleep hour per day, academic achievement, worries, satisfaction with school life, perceived family income and psychosocial stress has been selected. In particular, the stress is related to the high depression. Therefore, it is considered that stress management is necessary in order to reduce the students' depression.

The purpose of this study is to find out the wearing conditions and cause of discomfort with shoes for male college students which will provide useful information fur the shoes manufacturer. The questionnaire survey was conducted on 346 male college students on purchasing practices, wearing conditions, and overall satisfaction with shoes. The results were as follows: Male college students have a tendency to have longer buying cycles and buy more expensive shoes compare to high school students. The order of criteria considered fer purchasing was shape, price, style coordination with clothing. The order of criteria considered for purchasing differed according to their major, economic status and purchasing place. Most of them have two pairs of white or black sports shoes and one pair of either black or brown dress shoes. The most popular material was man made leather but college students have more leather shoes than high school students. There were differences between high school students and college students in wearing conditions, how many they have, material and color. The varieties of shoes differed by season. They were satisfied with their shoes' design and color but unsatisfied with qualify or the material and durability of the shoes. Due to the pressure of the shoes, they experienced discomfort such as numbness, blisters on the feet and red skin. They experienced discomfort on the soles of the feet. The causes of discomfort were shape, width, hight of the heel, material and length in order. Dress shoes cause more discomfort than sport shoes due to the hardness of material, and flexibility of the sole. Since the material differed by the price, the degree of discomfort significantly differed by price too.

This research is conducted in order to analyze the student's academic performance at the secondary school level in Sindh province of Pakistan. The study was focused on the students who have passed the Matriculation level recently. The sample of size equal to 1097 secondary level students was randomly selected in a way that from each college roughly up to 150 students took part in the survey. The sample selection was further divided on gender (Male=448, Female=649) and Locale (Urban=456, Rural=641). A survey questionnaire was circulated for data collection. The statistical analysis based on Pearson's Chi-Square and Correlation models were carried out using the collected data. The conclusion was drawn from results that strongly revealed that the student's academic achievement at high school level was highly associated to their parent's educational level and socio-economic background. Therefore, it is strongly recommended that the financial condition of the population must be enhanced by taking suitable measures. The affected students should be awarded adequate financial assistance or scholarships to face such hardships of their learning career. Free laptops, learning materials, books, and stationery should also be provided.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the body composition and the nutrient intakes of the physical-education high school male athletics and high school male students in Daegu Kyungpook. The study was performed by 122 physical-education high school male students and 78 high school male students. Statistical data analysis was completed by using the SPSS 12.0 program. They were also analyzed by student's t-test at p<0.05. The results were summarized as follows. (1) Chest circumference in athletic group(AG) was significantly higher than in nonathletic group(NG). Hip circumference in nonathletic group(NG) was significantly higher than in athletic group(AG)(p<0.01). Skinfold thickness of triceps, biceps and subscapular in nonathletic group(NG) were thicker than that of athletic group(AG) significantly(p<0.001). Percent of body fat and body fat mass in nonathletic group(NG) were higher than that of athletic group(AG) significantly(p<0.001). Lean body mass in athletic group(AG) was higher than that of nonathletic group(NG) significantly(p<0.001). (2) Athletic group(AG) was significantly higher than nonathletic group(NG) in energy nutrient intakes and vitamin, mineral and other nutrient intakes except Na, vitamin B6, vitamin E(p<0.001). Athletic group(AG) had more intakes than RDA for all nutrient except calcuim. (3) Nonathletic group(NG) was significantly higher than Athletic group(AG) in total nutrition knowledge scores.

This study aimed to analyze the effects of child abuse and neglect on male·female high school students and the moderating roles of peer attachment and closeness to teachers in the process. By using the second to the seventh yearsʼ data of 4th grade elementary school student panel participating in the Korean Children & Youth Panel Survey(KCYPS), the study calculated descriptive statistics and performed hierarchical regressions. The main results of this study were as follows. First, for male high school students, as each level of child abuse, peer attachment, and closeness to teachers was higher, the level of ego-resilience was higher. However, as the level of child neglect was higher, the level of ego-resilience was lower. For female high school students, as the level of child neglect was higher, the level of ego-resilience was lower, while each level of peer attachment and closeness to teachers was higher, the level of ego-resilience was higher. In addition, for only male high school students, peer attachment moderated the effect of child abuse on ego-resilience. On the other hands, for both male and female high school students, as the level of child abuse and neglect were higher, the level of self-esteem was lower, while each level of peer attachment and closeness to teachers was higher, the level of self-esteem was higher. Moreover, for only female high school students, peer attachment moderated the effects of child abuse and neglect on self-esteem.

The main purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of gender equality consciousness of middle and high school student on the preference for Technology Home Economics and its teaming effectiveness. For this purpose, the gender equality consciousness, the preference and learning effectiveness of Technology Home Economics were measured among a number of 404 middle and high school students in Chuncheon city. The results of this study were summarized as following: 1. The gender equality consciousness of female students was higher than that of male students. 2. Middle and high school students had the higher preference and learning effectiveness for the Home Economics area in Technology Home Economics than they had for the Technology. 3. Female student's preference and learning effectiveness for the Home Economics area in Technology Home Economics were higher than male student's. Male student's preference and Loaming effectiveness for the Technology area in Technology Home Economics were higher than female student's. 4. The group which had relatively high gender equality consciousness score showed the higher preference and learning effectiveness for the Home Economics area in Technology Home Economics than the group with low gender equality consciousness score. In contrast, the group with low gender equality consciousness score had the higher preference for the Technology area in Technology Home Economics than the group with high gender equality consciousness score. In conclusion, gender equality consciousness and gender type had the most strong influence on the preference and learning effectiveness for Technology Home Economics among middle-high school students.

Objects : We performed this study to investigate anger, anger coping, stress response, grade differences and gender differences in delinquent adolescents who were released with warning by police. Methods The subjects consisted of 285 delinquent adolescents who participated in the intervention program for preventing delinquency and 391 school students (male : 377, female : 299/middle school : 346, high school 330) in Seoul. STAXI-K and IES were used. Results : 1) The delinquent adolescent group had the higher scores of 'state anger', 'trait anger', 'total anger' than the student group. But the delinquent adolescent group had the lower scores of 'anger in', 'anger control' and 'stress response' than the student group. 2) The male delinquent adolescent group had the higher scores of 'anger control', 'stress response' than the female delinquent adolescent group. But there was no significant difference in anger. 3) The high school delinquent adolescent group had the higher scores of 'trait anger', 'anger control' than the middle school delinquent adolescent group. The high school adolescent group had the higher scores of 'stress response' than the middle school adolescent group. Conclusion : In anger, anger coping and stress response, the normal student group were different form the adolescent group who were released with warning by police committed. According to the grade and gender, differences were reported in this study. These characteristics can be more easily and more effectively applied to programs for the adolescent group who were released with warning by police committed.
Purpose: The purpose of this study was to obtain data that can be utilized in the planning of oral health education plan, by surveying the correlation between oral health knowledge, attitude, and behavior among high grade students elementary school in some regions of the metropolitan. Methods: The subject of this study through the survey of the recognition of the oral health, a questionnaire survey was conducted for 548 male and female students who were in the 4th, 5th, 6th grade of elementary school in some regions of the metropolitan. Statistical analysis was conducted using the SPSS 12.0 with t-test, ANOVA, and correlation. Results: Knowledge of oral health was very high. Correct attitudes and positive behavior were indicated. There was a significant difference in oral health knowledge according to school year and parents' dental condition(P<.05). The student one recording oral health behavior degree where the oral health knowledge is high appears highly, considers statistically the difference which it was visible. Positive correlation was significantly observed among oral health knowledge, attitudes, and behavior. Especially, attitudes and toothbrush method were highly correlated(r=.853). Conclusion: Oral health program through the elementary school students and their parents for the development of proper oral health care education programs continue to be made should be considered.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the knowledge, attitude and preventive behaviors of tuberculosis in male high school students and to identify the factors influencing preventive behaviors and to provide basic data for the development of prevention programs for tuberculosis of male high school students. Methods: This study was conducted from May 1, 2018 to May 30, 2018, and six high school students in S city and Y city of Jeonnam were selected. 465 male high school students in the first grade were selected. Collected data were analyzed using t-test, ANOVA, pearsons's correlation and Multiple regression analysis by SPSS/WIN 21.0 program Results: As a result, the knowledge score was 11.92, the attitude score was 28.32 and the prevention behavior score was 30.07. All of these correlations were statistically correlated. In addition, factors influencing preventive actions against tuberculosis were attitude toward tuberculosis, exercise, health status, and sleep time Conclusion: Based on the above results, it is thought that to improve the preventive behavior of tuberculosis in male high school students, it is necessary to develop a practice-oriented program for forming healthy lifestyle as well as to change the attitude toward tuberculosis positively.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the relationship between the awareness of gender equality and clothing attitude of high school students. The survey was conducted on 600(male 297, female 303) high school students located in Choongnam and Jeollabukdo province. The statistical analysis was done with SPSS 11.0 for Windows Program to calculate percentile, mean and standard deviation. Also, the significance of the data was verified by Factor analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Duncan' multiple range test. The results of this research were as follows: The results of analysing the factors to the response attitude toward appearance emerged four factors (sexual attractiveness, fashion pursuit, self-expression, aesthetic, and modesty). Gender had significant effects on the awareness of gender equality and clothing attitude of high school students. Gender equality awareness of high school students had an effects on clothing attitude. A group with high awareness score of gender equality showed high score in clothing attitude, fashion pursuit, self-expression, and aesthetic. A group with low awareness of gender equality, however, showed high in clothing attitude, sexual attractiveness and modesty.
