울산시 초등학생의 구강보건지식 및 행동에 관한 연구 (A Study on Dental Health Knowledge and Behavior of Elementary School Student)

  • 본 연구는 치아우식증을 예방하고 구강건강을 증진 유지시키는데 필요한 기초자료를 제공하고자 하였으며, 울산시 초등학교 4.5.6학년 545명을 대상으로 자체 개발한 자기기입식 설문지로 연구를 시행하였다. 수합된 자료는 SPSS 11.5 통계프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계량을 산출하고, t-검정과 ANOVA 검정을 실시하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. 1. '치실에 대해 알고 있다'와 '불소에 대해 알고 있다'에서는 오답으로 답한 경우가 훨씬 높은 비율로 나타나 충치예방의 으뜸인 불소에 대한 지식이 매우 낮게 나타났다. 2. 학년에 따른 구강보건 지식 및 행동과 잇솔질 횟수는 4학년과 5학년이 6학년보다 더 낮게 나타났고 이는 통계학적으로 유의한 차이를 보였다(p = 0.000, p < 0.005). 3. 구강보건지식은 구강보건행동점수가 높을수록 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났고(p = 0.001), 구강보건행동은 잇솔질 횟수가 많을수록 통계적으로 유의하게 높게 나타났다(p = 0.000).

패스트푸드 섭취가 청소년의 식행동 및 인성에 미치는 영향 (Interrelations Among Fast Food Intake, Food Behavior, and Personality in Adolescents)

  • Especially, the teenage period, an important lifetime to develop both physically and mentally, needs to be helpful to promote the growth of the body and to keep a well-balanced mind through a balanced and nourishing diet. It is well known that the western style fast food is the most liked meal by teenagers. Wrong recognition about fast food and its frequent intake by adolescents can lead to unbalanced diet and food behaviors which may also connect with a poor impact on their personalities as well as their physical health. In this study, therefore, relationships between fast food intake frequency and food behavior, sociability, and personality, such as anger expression, were surveyed from 1,295 adolescents (666 in Seoul, 316 in Changwon, and 313 in rural communities), and then analyzed using SPSS program. The results are shown as follows. The fast food preference score and the fast food intake frequency score showed no differences between male students (22.9/30, 14.4/30 respectively) and female students (23.0/30, 14.0/30 respectively). But, the fast food preference score correlated positively with the intake frequency score (r=0.304) significantly (p<0.001). The more frequently eating of fast food group showed significantly lower scores (r=-0.233, p<0.001) in food behaviors. The frequency of fast food intake had no relationships with sociability, but it had a significantly effect on anger expression (r=0.213, p<0.001) and control (r=-0.l47, p<0.001). From these results, we could see the necessity of various nutrition education programs to build proper eating-out habits and also more studies are needed to find the relationships between fast food intake and growth and personality.

쪽으로 천연염색된 닥/면섬유 혼방직물의 색채특성과 색채감성 및 색채선호도 (Colorimetric Properties, Color Sensibility and Color Preferences for Mulberry/Cotton Blended Fabrics Dyed with Natural Indigo)

  • The purposes of this study were to evaluate the color characteristics and color sensibility of mulberry/cotton blended fabrics dyed with indigo, the natural dye, and analyze effects of them on color preferences. The values of CIE $L^*$, $a^*$, $b^*$ $C^*$, h were calculated for the color characteristics of indigo-dyed fabrics, and their hue, value, and chroma were calculated according to the Munsell color system. Fifty male and female college students evaluated the color sensibility of nine types fabrics dyed with indigo on a seven-point scale. The data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, factor analysis, Kruscal-Wallis test, correlation analysis, and regression analysis. The mulberry/cotton blended fabrics naturally dyed with indigo showed the characteristics of PB color tones, low value, and low chroma. The color sensibilities of fabrics dyed with indigo were classified into four factors: 'classic', 'sporty', 'elegant' and 'natural'. There were significant differences according to the fibers and the repeating times of dyeing in the color sensibility for the fabrics. Cotton fabrics were evaluated to be more classic, sporty, elegant, and natural than the mulberry/cotton blended fabrics, and the deeper the color, the more classic, sporty, and elegant the fabric was evaluated. The students preferred the indigo dyed fabrics which have more classic, sporty, and natural sensibility. There were significant relationships between the color sensibilities and colorimetric properties of the fabrics dyed with indigo. The color preferences of the dyed fabrics with indigo were found to be influenced by the 'classic', 'sporty', 'natural' of color sensibility.

PC방(게임방)에서 헤드셋을 착용한 중•고등학생의 소음 노출수준 (Noise Exposure Levels for the Middle and the High School Students using Headsets in the PC Rooms)

  • This study was conducted to measure the exposure levels to noise for the middle and the high school students who worn headsets in the PC rooms. The noise levels from the headsets were measured with noise dosimeters, and the statistical relationships between the utilization pattern, user's views on the PC rooms and it's environment were analyzed for the selected PC rooms in the Ahnshan area. The results were as follows; 1. No significant difference was found in the number of uses and average time spent per day by education level and by sex of the users(p>0.05). 2. No statistical significant difference was found between the contents selected by education level of the users (p>0.05). The male participants overwhelmingly enjoyed the PC games (98.3 %) while females selected for listening music (75.0 %) with significant difference(P<0.05), followed by browsing internet and PC communications (70.0 %), PC game (66.7 %) and chatting (33.3 %). 3. The actual noise measurements of the headsets worn by the users of different sexes and educational backgrounds produced no differences(p>0.05), while a significant difference was found between genders (p<0.05). 4. For sound pressure level measurements, the weighted average(Lavg) of 84.5 dB(A) on the left headsets exceeded that of 79.8 dB(A) on the right headsets significantly(p<0.01) and the maximum value of 96.9 dB(A) on the left headsets exceeded the maximum value of 93.5 dB(A) on the right headsets(p<0.01). 5. The actual noise measurements of the headsets worn by the users of different sexes and educational backgrounds produced no differences(p>0.05), however, the contents selected by the users with different educational backgrounds were noted with significant difference(p<0.05) while no difference was found by gender(p>0.05).

서울 및 근교에 거주하는 한국인의 연령별 식생활 비교 및 평가: (1) 영양소 섭취 비교 (Comparative Analysis and Evaluation of Dietary Intakes of Koreans by Age Groups: (1) Nutrient Intakes)

  • It is necessary to compare the dietary characteristics among different age groups because different nutritional problems require different dietary applications. This study was performed to identify the nutritional characteristics of Korean diet among different age groups. The study subjects consisted of preschool children(PC), elementary school children(EC), high school students(HS), college students(CS), and adults over 30 years old living in Seoul and the surrounding areas. The subjects over 30 years old were classified to 30-49 years, 50-69 years, and over 70 years. A dietary survey was conducted using 24-hour recall method and data were collected from 2392 subjects. Energy intake was as much as 1771kcal for PC, 2139kcal for EC, 2475kcal for HS, 2276kcal for CS, 1860kcal for 30-49 years, 1715kcal for 50-69 years, 1326kcal for over 70 years. The subjects of PC, EC, HS, and CS groups got about 25% of energy from fat, but the subjects in 30-49 years, 16%, those in 50-69 years, 15%, and those over 70 years, 13%. The energy consumption from protein was about 15% in each age group. Percent of energy intake as Korean RDA was greater than 100% for PC, EC, HS, and male CS groups. The percent intake for RDA of calcium, iron, vitamin A, and vitamin B$_2$was low in most age group. Iron intake was inadequate in female of PC and CS groups, and subjects in 30-49 years and over 70 years. Mean adequacy ratio(MAR) was 0.9 in PC, and decreased with increase of age. Therefore MAR did not reach to 0.7 among subjects over 70 years. Index of nutritional quality(INQ) for calcium, iron, vitamin A, and vitamin B was below 1 in most age groups. From these results, major nutritional problems of each age group were overall inadequate intakes of calcium and iron, excess consumption of protein and fat for PC, EC, HS, and CS groups, and inadequate nutrients intake of subjects over 70 years old. 도시지역 성인의 식습관 및 식생활 의식에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Eating Habits and Dietary Consciousness of Adults in Urban Area)

  • The purpose of this study was to identify the eating habits and dietary consciousness of urban residents according to socioeconomic characteristics. The survey was administered by the nationwide 690 adults in February 2001. The survey was conducted by a questionnaire that was composed of 20 items. The results of this study show that 56.8% of the subjects had breakfast everyday and majority of them ate cooked rice (57.4%) or rice with mixed grain and bean (33.0%) as stable food for breakfast. 73.6% of the subjects ate out less than 5 times a month and, most of them preferred Korean dishes to Western dishes. The majority of the subjects had a meal regularly and they ate dinner abundantly with gusto compared to breakfast and lunch. Mean values of preference (5 point scales) for snack, salty and hot taste, and processed food were 3.07±0.89, 2.75±0.83, 3.28±0.90, 2.69±0.84 respectively. Interest (4 point scales) in eating safe and fresh food, balanced diet, and overeating calorieㆍsugarㆍsaltㆍfat were 3.26±0.66, 2.83±0.70, 2.89±0.75, respectively. As the purpose of eating, 44.8% of the subjects placed emphasis to supply nutrition but 16.6% put emphasis on physiologic desire. About half of the subjects needed to change their own eating habits. As improvement of their eating habits, the majority of them answered ‘balanced diet’. There were significant differences in eating habits and dietary consciousness of the subjects by socioeconomic characteristics. As the age goes down and education level goes up, they had wrong eating habits generally. For occupation, housewives had right eating habits but students were not. For interest in food and nutrition, male, 20' age-group, students and over college graduation group were worse than the other groups within each socioeconomic characteristic. Consequently, nutrition education for them is needed preferentially, also their socioeconomic characteristics must be considered in nutrition education.

급성 저압.저산소 노출에서의 유산소성 운동이 면역기능 및 호흡기계에 미치는 영향 (The Influences of Immune Function and Respiratory System on Aerobic Exercise by Exposed Acute Hypobaric Hypoxic Environment.)

  • 본 연구에서는 저압.저산소환경의 노출을 시켜 30분간의 유산소성 자전거운동이 호흡기계 반응 및 면역기능의 응답에 미치는 영향을 검토하였다. 그 결과 몇 가지 지견을 도출해낼 수 있었다. 첫째로 75 $%HR_{max}$ 강도에서 30분간의 유산소성 운동 중에 저산소성 환기억제 또는 저하(hypoxic ventilatory depression or decline)라고 하는 현상은 평지뿐만이 아니라 3,000 m 고도에서도 나타나고 있고, 둘째 호흡기계의 반응은 축구선들이 특히 고소에서 적응과 감수성이 우수하다고 할 수 있으며, 셋째 면역기능의 항목인 단구(monocyte)는 운동습관의 유무 및 3,000 m의 고도에 따라 서로 다른 양상(상호작용)으로 변화를 하고 있다고 할 수 있다.

일부지역 대학생들의 이성교제 여부가 구강건강행태에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Impact of Relationship on the Oral Health Behaviors among University Students)

  • Purpose : The purpose of this study was to investigate whether or not the effects of the relationship among college students on the oral health were affected by the increased interest in the appearance. Methods : After explanation of this study, we conducted the questionnaire to those who accepted questionnaire from April 26 to May 28, 2017. In order to collect the data, Naver-form (mobile) questionnaire was distributed to the research subjects and the collected data. The analysis technique used the frequency and percentage to examine the general characteristics of the subjects and the status of the relationship. Chi-square test was used to examine the number of toothbrushes, toothbrushing time, oral health concern, regular oral examination and scaling, use of oral care products, smoking status, and bad breath. Result : Among the total of 190 research subjects, 79 (41.6 %) were male and 111 (58.4 %) were female. The presence of brushing just before going out and carrying a toothbrush were more frequent for those subjects who are in relationship (p<.001). The subjects who considered oral hygiene to be important were higher in those who were in relationship (p<.001). Conclusion : Some oral health care behaviors such as toothbrushing just before going out or carrying a toothbrush were well formed, and oral hygiene was important in those who were in relationship.

상.하의 배색과 하의형태가 인상형성에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Clothing Coloration and Ope of Pants/Skirt on Impression Formation)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of clothing coloring and type of pants/skirt as clothing cues on impression of college female students. The experimental materials developed for this study are a set of stimuli and response scales. Thirty two color pictures of various combinations of colors for shirt, and colors and type of pants/skirt were manipulated on computer drawing. For visual evaluation of women's casual wears about colors and type, 7-point scales were designed. The subjects consist of 192 female and male undergraduate students in Chinju city. The results of this study can be summaried as follow: As analyzing the impression of female figure by the color of shirt and the color and type of pants/skirt, five factors including appearance valuation, concentration of attention, clearness, stability, and activity were found to be important. Color of shirt have significant effects on appearance valuation, concentration of attention, clearness, stability, and activity. Color of pants and shirt also have significant effects on all five factors. Especially, they strongest predictors for stability and activity. Type of pants/skirt significantly effects on concentration of attention and activity. In the effects of interactions between each variable, the combination of pants colors and type of pants/skirt had significant effects on appearance valuation, stability factors. Also shirt and pants colors had an significant effects on appearance valuation, stability, and activity. But in the impression formation of concentration of attention and clearness, only the combination of shirt colors and pants forms was more significant.

초등학생 스마트폰 사용 유·무 보행의 신체움직임 기능 차이 (Functional Difference of the Human Body Movements on Gait with or without Smart phone in Elementary School Students)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate temporal and spatial variations, and moments of the lower extremities of gait while playing the game with smartphone under different curb-heights. Ten male elementary school students(from 10 years to 13 years old) participated in this study. Twelve infrared cameras(Oqus-500) and two force plates(9260AA) were used for collecting data and these were processed via Visual 3D software. In conclusion, with or without smartphone and with different curb-heights, the spatial and temporal parameters of walking were not the same and coefficients of variations were not consistent. The maximum joint moments of the lower extremities with or without smartphone were not statistically significant but those of hip and ankle joint were statistically significant with regard to the different heights of the curbs.
