Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the factors that affect subjective well-being in nursing students. Methods: A total of 236 nursing students participated in the study. Data was collected from November through December 2013 using a self-reporting questionnaire that surveyed the level of gratitude, interpersonal relationship ability, subjective happiness, and life satisfaction. Data was analyzed by descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients and multiple regression with the SPSS/WIN 18.0 program. Results: Subjective happiness positively correlated with gratitude (r=.41, p<.001) and interpersonal relationship ability (r=.55, p<.001). Life satisfaction positively correlated with gratitude (r=.53, p<.001) and interpersonal relationship ability (r=.37, p<.001). Significant predictors of subjective happiness included gratitude (${\beta}=.38$, p<.001), interpersonal relationship ability (${\beta}=.28$, p<.001) and major satisfaction (${\beta}=.17$, p=.002). The regression model explained 39.3% of subjective happiness. Significant predictors of life satisfaction included gratitude (${\beta}=.42$, p<.001), academic achievement (${\beta}=.15$, p=.006), interpersonal relationship ability (${\beta}=.16$, p=.008) and major satisfaction (${\beta}=.12$, p=.035). The regression model explained 35.3% of life satisfaction. Conclusion: To improve subjective well-being among nursing students, nurse educators should develop educational intervention programs to promote gratitude and interpersonal relationships.

This study is a descriptive research study conducted to identify factors affecting personality by examining subjective happiness, ethical sensitivity, empathy ability, and personality of nursing students. The study subjects were 165 students enrolled in the Department of Nursing in Gyeonggi-do, and data collection was conducted through an online survey from September 9 to October 18, 2020. The average of subjective happiness, ethical sensitivity, empathy ability, and happiness of nursing students is 5.11±1.03 points, 4.33±.38 points, 3.83±.42 points, and 4.09±.39 points. Personality positively correlated with subjective happiness, ethical sensitivity, and empathy ability. The significant factors influencing personality were major satisfaction, subjective happiness, ethical sensitivity, which explained 52.8% of the variance in nursing students' personality. Based on the results of this study, it is necessary to develop an educational program that considers ethical sensitivity, subjective happiness, and major satisfaction with high explanatory power for personality.

The purpose of this study was to identify the effect of three clothing cues(neutral tone, skirt width, and skirt length of dress) on the impressions of females. The experimental materials developed for this study were a set of stimuli and response scales. The stimuli were 20 color pictures manipulated with three clothing cues by drawing. The 7-point scale designed for visual evaluation of impression formation about females included 29 bipolar adjectives. The subjects were 240 undergraduate female students in Chinju city. The results of this study were as follows: By analyzing the impression of female figures by neutral tone, skirt width, and length, five factors including ability.activity, elegance, attractiveness, concentration of attention, and tenderness were identified. Among these factors, ability.activity and elegance were proved to be more important. Each impression of neutral tone with skirt width. length have significant effects on tenderness. Each impression of skirt width.length with neutral tone have significant effects on ability.activity.

The purpose of this study was to analyze engineering basic competencies about the time completed a course and educational needs of engineering college graduates. Survey method using questionnaire was the major research method of this study. A survey of 807 engineering college graduates was carried out. Questionnaire were made of the level of engineering basic competencies of engineering college graduates, its priorities of actual vocation and level of engineering basic competencies of major. Major results of the study, some recommendations for future researches were made as follows: The level of engineering basic competencies of engineering college graduates was 3.3 average(5 full marks). Engineering basic competencies that educational needs were high respectively, were an ability to communicate effectively, an ability to design a system, component, or process to meet desired needs, an ability to function on multi-disciplinary teams, an ability to understand global culture and cooperate internationally, an ability to design and conduct experiment as well as to analyze and interpret data, and an ability to engage in life-long learning.

Purpose: This study were to analyze satisfaction with job ability development training among Dental Technicians', examine the degree of their actual satisfaction with training courses and their status, and provide some basic data to help improve the quality level, satisfaction, and effective operation of job ability development training in the future. Methods: This study carried out self-administered questionnaire survey from January 15, 2011 to March 10 by having research subjects as 180 dental technicians who participated in the course of employees' Job Ability Development Training by 'Gil Occupational Training Institute,' which is being conducted as part of dental technicians' job ability development in Seoul region. Among these things, 160(88.8%) copies were collected. Except 19 copies with incomplete response, 141(78.3%) copies were used as the materials of final analysis. Results: First of all, as a result of grasping the whole satisfaction with training according to general characteristics, the significant difference was indicated in the whole satisfaction with training depending on gender & age, and voluntary participatory intention. Second, the satisfaction with contents of Job Ability Development Training was in order of helpful level in ability development with 4.10(${\pm}.70$), co-worker's recommendation and a plan for reparticipation with 4.08(${\pm}.77$), consistence with the content goal with 4.07(${\pm}.71$), and reflection of demand with 4.01(${\pm}.70$). Third, examining satisfaction with instructors of Job Ability Development Training, it is being indicated with a little higher score compared to the satisfaction with other items. Fourth, satisfaction with service of supporting learners in job ability development training was shown to be slightly low in all the items. Especially, the convenience of administrative procedure was indicated to be the lowest with 3.52(${\pm}.92$) Fifth, satisfaction with the facility of job ability development training was showing very low satisfaction compared to other satisfaction items. Conclusion: A continuous effort will be needed in order to be possibly strengthened dental laboratory technicians' professionalism and reinforced qualitative level in major ability through offering more educational opportunities and education in good quality.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of self-directed learning ability and creativity on college adjustment in nursing students. Method: Data were collected by questionnaires from 148 nursing students in October, 2010. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, independent t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and stepwise multiple regression. Results: A positive correlation was found for college adjustment with self-directed learning ability and creativity. Self-directed learning ability and major satisfaction were significant predictors of college adjustment. The model explained 44.1% of the valuables. Conclusion: The results of this study suggest that self-directed learning be considered when developing strategies to increase college adjustment in nursing students.

This experiment was accomplished to investigate antioxidative activity of Korean mistletoe by organic solvents partitioning of methanol extact of 3 Korean mistletoes, fractionationing on column chromatography, and evaluation the reduction of a free radical ${\alpha}$,${\alpha}$-diphenyl-${\beta}$-picrylhydrazyl. Butanol partition of Loranthus yadoriki MeOH extract showed higher electron donating ability than ${\alpha}$-tocopherol. It was thought phenolic compounds including gallic acid account for antioxidative activity, on execution sub-fractionation, electron donating ability evaluation, and GC/MS analysis, but further studies on what are major actives must be investigated exactly.

This paper presents a transfer capability enhancement process using VSC HVDC system which can control active power as well as reactive power. The transfer capability is constrained by stability like voltage stability as well as thermal rating of power system components. Transfer capability of the power system limited by these constraints may be enhanced by reactive power control ability and active power flow control ability of the VSC HVDC system. To enhance the transfer capability of the system using VSC HVDC, selection of the HVDC installation site is performed. In this work, power zones which consist of major power plants and their sinks are identified using power tracing and distribution factor. Alternative route of major AC transmission line in the power zone is identified as VSC HVDC system.

This study aims to investigate the effect of group home adolescents' emotion regulation and school adjustment. A survey was carried out on a total of 246 middle and high school students, who live in group homes. For data analysis, t-test, two-way ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis, multiple regression analysis, and reliability coefficients were carried out by using SPSS program(version 18.0). The findings of this study were as follows: First, there were significant differences in emotion regulation ability of group home adolescents, depending on the grade and gender. Second, there was an interaction by grade and gender in school adjustment of group home adolescents. Last, group home adolescents' gender, grade, and emotion regulation ability affected their school adjustment.

The purpose of the study were to investigate the differences of Image on male and female\\` The purpose of the study were to investigate the differences of Image on male and female´ Contemporary folk costume of Female College Students according to their life styles and their major. The data were collected from 300 female college students in Cheongju city through self-administerd questionnaires, and were analyzed by frequencies, Cronbach´s $\alpha$, F-test, Factor Analysis, Cluster Analysis, one way ANOVA and Duncan Test. The results of the study were as follows: The image on male and female´ Contemporary folk costume were found to include four different dimensions- fashion, activity, gracefulness, ability. There were not significant differences between dimensions of image on male and female´ contemporary folk costume according to student´s major. Life styles were classified five types. There were significantly different at dimensions of fashion and gracefulness, ability between life style dimensions and image on males´ contemporary folk costume. There was significantly different at dimension of gracefulness between life style dimensions and image on females´ contemporary folk costume.
