웹 페이지의 내재 규칙 습득 과정에서 규칙식별 역할에 대한 효과 분석 (Effect of Rule Identification in Acquiring Rules from Web Pages)

  • 오늘날 자원의 보고라 할 수 있는 웹에는 자연어로 표현된 텍스트와 테이블들로 구성된 무수히 많은 문서들이 존재하고 있다. 이러한 웹 문서들로부터 규칙을 습득하고 습득된 규칙과 웹 문서간의 일관성을 유지하기 위해, 본 논문에서는 확장형 규칙 표식 언어 (extensible Rule Markup Language, XRML) 체계를 개발하였다. XRML은 웹 페이지에 내재되어 있는 규칙을 식별하여 자동으로 정형화된 규칙을 생성할 수 있도록 지원하는 규칙 식별 표식 언어 (Rule Identification Markup Language, XRML)와 구조화된 규칙 표현을 위한 규칙 구조 표식 언어 (Rule Structure Markup Language)로 구성된다. 특히, RIML은 HTML안에 내재되어 있는 규칙을 HTML 문서에 직접 명시할 수 있도록 설계되었기 때문에, RIML을 통해 웹페이지에 있는 규칙들을 식별하고 이 식별된 규칙은 RSML으로 표현된 정형화된 규칙으로 자동 변환될 수 있다. 본 논문에서는 RIML의 설계 시 웹페이지로부터 규칙을 식별하는 과정에서 발생하는 공유되는 변수 (variables) 및 값 (values),생략된 어구 ,동의어와 같은 몇 가지 중요한 현상들을 발견하고 이를 해결하고자 하였다. 제안된 XRML 접근 방법의 성능을 측정하고자, 3개의 대표적인 온라인 서점인 Amazon.com, BarnesandNoble.com, Powells.com의 실제 웹페이지들로부터 배송 및 환불과 관련된 규칙을 습득하여 XRML의 효과를 측정하는 실험을 수행하였다. 실험 결과에 따르면, 웹페이지로부터 규칙은 $97.7\%$의 매우 높은 정확성을 가지고 습득되었으며, 생성된 규칙의 완전성은 $88.5\%$로 측정되어, XRML이 특정 주제에 관한 전문가 시스템을 구축하기 위해 웹페이지로부터 규칙을 추출할 때 효율적인 도구가 될 수 있음이 예시되었다.

모바일 환경을 고려한 규칙기반 음성인식 오류교정 (Rule-based Speech Recognition Error Correction for Mobile Environment)

  • 본 논문에서는 모바일 환경에서 음성인식한 결과에 포함된 오류를 교정하는 규칙기반 접근방법을 제안한다. 제안하는 방법은 처리시간이나 메모리에 제약을 받는 모바일 환경을 고려하여 다음과 같이 구성된다. 오류 교정 속도를 최소화하기 위해서, 음절 해체 및 조합 과정이나 형태소 분석 등의 처리를 줄이고, 최장일치 규칙 선택기준을 바탕으로 오류 발생 추정 지점에서 교정 후보도 하나만 생성한다. 제안하는 방법은 메모리를 효율적으로 사용하기 위해서, 어절사전이나 형태소분석기를 사용하지 않고, 규칙도 유형별로 따로 구분하지 않고 통합하여 저장한다. 제안하는 방법은 모델의 수정 및 유지보수가 용이하도록, 오류교정규칙을 학습말뭉치에서 자동으로 추출하여 구축한다. 실험결과 제안하는 방법은 음성인식 결과에 대하여 정확률을 5.27% 정도 재현율을 5.60% 정도 개선하였다.

Web Enabled Expert Systems using Hyperlink-based Inference

  • With the proliferation of WWW, providing more intelligence to Web sites has become a major concern in e-business industry. In recent days, this trend is more accelerated by prosperity of CRM (Customer Relationship Management) in terms of various aspects such as product recommendation, self after service, etc. To accomplish this goal, many e-companies are eager to embed web enabled rule-based system, that is, expert systems into their Web sites and several well-known commercial tools are already available in the market. Most of those tools are developed based on CGI so far but CGI based systems inherently suffer over-burden problem when there are too many service demands at the same time due to the nature of CGI. To overcome this limitation of the existing CGI based expert systems, we propose a new form of Web-enabled expert system using hyperlink-based inference mechanism. In terms of burden to Web server, our approach is proven to outperform CGI based approach theoretically and also empirically. For practical purpose, our this approach is implemented in a software system, WeBIS and a graphic rule editing methodology, Expert Diagram is incorporated into the system to facilitates rule generation and maintenance. WeBIS is now successfully operated for financial consulting in the web site of a leading financial consulting company in Korea.

  • Domestic apartment housing has been designed in accordance with the new housing supply-driven policies for a long time. As a result, its design, material production, construction, maintenance and remodeling process, rather than being systematically performed, were individually approached to cause insufficient linkage between technologies. For these problems and the supply of long life housing, active research on long life housing has been conducted in Korea since 2005. However, the existing research on long life housing has been focused on a single item with no connection made between infill systems, and no overall interface rule, resulting in no activation of the business. In this study, for the supply and activation of long life housing, we aim to analyze the problems of existing long life housing to set up its matching standards for infill systems.

  • reliability from components reliability. In this case, it assumes that components failure is mutually independent, but it may not true in real systems. In this study, the mean cost per unit time is computed as the ratio of mean life to the mean cost. The mean life is obtained by the reliability function under power rule model. The mean cost is obtained by the mathematical model based on the inspection interval. A heuristic method is proposed to determine the optimal number of redundant units and the optimal inspection interval to minimize the mean cost per unit time. The assumptions of this study are as following : First, in the load-sharing k-out-of-n:G system, total loads are applied to the system and shared by the operating components. Secondly, the number of failed components affects the failure rate of surviving components as a function of the total load applied. Finally, the relation between the load and the failure rate of surviving components is set by the power rule model. For the practical application of the above methods, numerical examples are presented.

  • In Rollover crashes, the development of bus structure to ensure the maintenance of survival space for passengers is very important . So, this paper focuses on understanding the possibility of efficient structural development considering rollover strength through computer simulation using the commercial code, LS-DYNA3D at the initial stage of vehicle development structural members, and impact boundary conditions required by ADR59(Australian Design Rule 59)were applied. In order to confirm the validity of the computational results, the test results. After the usefulness of this method of analysis was confirmed , we have proposed the effective modificationfor rollover strength.

  • Turnout is a mechanical installation enabling railway trains to be guided from one track to another at a railway junction. there are classified variously according to rail type, sleeper type, fastening system, track type. Construction of concrete track are on the increase recently to secure the safety of track structure as well as to reduce the maintenance cost. SFC fastening system used the plain track a lot and for those reasons, The fast clip turnout demand growing to improving efficiency of the maintenance cost by unification of fastening clip on whole line. in this study is about development of the fastening system for new turnout using fast clip. this fastening system assembled elasticity pad underneath a base plate. its can change stiffness how to adjust contact surface area of elasticity pad Developed fastening system have passed test according to rule of KRS-TR0014-09R (rail fastening system) and Performance Certification by KR.

  • This study introduces the system dynamics model that simulate total operational availability when 10 equipments made of 3 major components are serviced under the constrains of the maintenance capacity level and the number of spare parts. This simulation is designed on the base of reliability engineering concept so failures of components happens with the rule of engineering factors like the mean time between failure(MTBF) of component and the next failure time of one component is effected by the conditions of other components. We analysed availability of 10 equipments under 121 constrains and executed multiple regression analysis with the simulation result. The analysis provide the managerial insight in the service fields with operation many equipments.

  • Overhead cranes which carry heavy items in construction or production areas consist of structure and electric modules. More than 80% of breakdowns bring out of the electric module. As operators do not know all about cranes, it sometimes takes much time to repair the cranes. In order to resolve this problem, the expert system which can diagnose causes of faults and give instructions for repair to operators, has been developed. The scope of the paper is limited to the electric module. First of all, analyzing symptoms and causes, we have developed a rule base with the expert system shell, EXSYS. Furthermore, for the facility maintenance including repair instructions against the causes, the instruction data base was developed with FOXPRO. On the other hand, for the help of user's understanding the fault causes, the graphic animation module which shows malfunctioning component ports or motions in 3D was developed with the graphic software, TOPAS VGA.

  • This paper describes development of power transformer maintenance system using intelligent dissolved gases in oil analysis. The used gases are acetylene(C2H2), hydrogen(H2), ethylene(C2H4), methane(CH4), ethane(C2H6), carbon monoxide(CO) and carbon dioxide(CO2). The rule and neural network based gas analysis methods are used for artificial intelligent diagnosis. It is indicated that this program is efficient for diagnosis of oil immersed transformers diagnosis from application of gas analysis data of serviced transformer which has local overheating
