Development of Real Time Radiation Dosimeter Using RF Communication Function (RF 방식의 실시간 선량계 구현)

  • In this paper, we developed a module that can execute the data acquisition of the real-time measured radiant rays in the specific part of the nuclear power station. This module that includes the RF communication function, paces around the power station, being loaded on robot and can obtain the generated radiant rays in the various places through the detecting devices. It is considered that this new developed radiant rays acquisition method will have the higher degree of efficiency as compared with the existing method and reduce the expenses of the maintenance and repair work.

  • This paper presents an implementation methodology of common Rf- integrated PCS base station system which, is capable of providing PCS services for 3 PCS carriers concurrently and wireless system performance evaluation data is shown. We have built up a common PCS base station system using a commonization module, which is consisted of a multi-channel combiner, duplexer, LNA, power divider, feeder line, and a common set of antennas. It was shown that the performance of the system within the total 30MHz PCS frequency range is uniformly acceptable and measured signal quality and coverage are equivalent to that of the individual PCS base station. It is expected that PCS carriers are able to save a huge amount of installation and maintenance expenses by installing and sharing this base station system. This paper forms a groundwork for deploying efficient and economical IMT-2000 network.

  • In the planning phase of domestic urban environment maintenance and improvement projects, a particular problem is the increase in service expenses and project cost with the establishment of plans under circumstances that exclude the residents or have incomplete consent from them and the public organization. This delays the promotion of the project. This study aims to resolve such problems by proposing a measure to introduce a privatepublic consultative body for residents and the relevant departments of the public sector, to encourage them to participate and establish plans together from the beginning. This is expected to contribute to the smooth promotion of the project, as it would remove the conflicting factors that are expected to be generated in the project implementation phase before they could emerge.

  • A outdoor space of the brand apartment can improve the quality of the whole environment in apartment and has differentiated identity in apartment housing through various versions of the green space and water space plan. The purpose of this study is to evaluate nature-friendly design characteristics in brand apartments and to offer a basic information for planning of brand apartment. In concrete, nature-friendly design did by green space and water space that can analyze by visual, and investigation contents divided to position, form, user behavior, link space from user viewpoint by case study. This study examined a case of eight brand apartments located in Gangnamgu, Seoul. We has divided the characteristics of a green space into horizontal type, vertical type, multi-dimensional type and has divided the water space into stagnant water type, flowing stream type, waterfall type and fountain type. The findings are summarized as follows: First, in case of the space of brand apartment, the application of horizontal and vertical greenery was lower compare with multi-dimensional green space. The most of items for multi-dimensional greenery have been planned to the open space and promenade. Second, a stagnant water type of water space features well used in most of the cases but a water space of signs of activity like a flowing stream, waterfall, fountain types were underused because of problem of administrative and maintenance expenses. Thirdly, Water space of brand apartments was planned with specialization item by apartment housing but green space does not have differentiated item and was planned by most similar form.

A Study on the participant's perception of importance and performance in rural tourism network products with local tourism resources - focused on the rural tourism network products of Damyang Gun - (지역 관광자원을 연계한 네트워크형 농촌관광상품 참가자의 중요도-수행도 분석 - 전남 담양군 네트워크형 농촌관광상품을 중심으로 -)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the participant's perception of importance and performance of rural tourism network products that are linked with local resources, and propose the implications on the development direction of such products. The focus is on helping rural tourism network products acquire competencies that will help them evolve their business and differentiate themselves. To reach these objectives, a survey was designed through theoretical research on the motive of rural tourism and on agritourism networks. The survey was carried out on visitors to rural communities that produce rural tourism network products from November, 2015, to January, 2016 using 165 copies of a questionnaire after distributing 175 copies. The first quadrant continue and sustain', an area of high importance and high performance, included trial program components, stress reduction, getting away from daily routines, gaining new experiences, comfort, experiencing rural culture, travel expenses, and making memories with family. The second quadrant 'requires intensive improvement', an area of high importance but low performance, included having diverse trial programs, refreshment, experiencing agriculture, and education of children. Therefore, continuous interest is required for the area of 'maintenance' just as it is for activating educational farms in rural communities and a more fundamental improvement in the operation should be made for the area of 'intensive management'.

  • The objective of this study is to establish a direction for smart aquaculture technology development in the Republic of Korea through patent analysis and a demand survey of experts and fishermen. The patent analysis was conducted using Wisdomain for patents in the Republic of Korea, the United States of America, Europe, Japan, and China from 2005 to 2016. This study conducted an analytic hierarchy process (AHP) survey of experts in the fields of fishery, marine, and ICT among others. Furthermore, it carried out a demand survey of 85 fishermen in Jeonnam and Jeju. The smart aquaculture technology market has moderately grown in the Republic of Korea until recently, and it is expected to expand further because of the expansion of national investment in the smart aquaculture field. The priority evaluation results for developing smart aquaculture technology show that land-based aquaculture has a higher priority than sea-based aquaculture. Of the fishermen that responded, 84% said that they need to introduce smart aquaculture technology to solve problems in the supply and demand of manpower, labor cost, and maintenance expenses. The direction of development should lie in developing biological and environment-based standard aquaculture models to spread high-tech systems and vitalize the aquaculture industry. This requires continual training of human resources in the smart aquaculture field.

  • Different countries around the world, using their traditional culture as a background, are promoting new changes and reformation in development and publicity method of cultural contents to promote national interests and to increase their competitiveness. Also, as the citizen's standard of living and quality of living goes up, various demands for the enjoyment of traditional culture goes up accordingly as well. As the cultural assets environment become more complicated and diverse, there is a need for systematic management and preservation plan. Keeping these viewpoints in mind, the geo-spatial information provision service using the web provides various forms of services such as satellite imagery, terrain, and 3D viewing, enabling the user to gain concrete spatial information on specific areas. The geo-spatial information using 3D modeling is done only in limited spaces because of construction expenses or difficulties in management and maintenance. In this thesis, I would like to propose Effective method for the GoogleEarth Uploading through simplification of 3D object for the publicity of traditional buildings and Cultural Resources and Tourist Attractions.

Quality Characteristics of Ssamjang Added with Cheonggukjang and Various Kinds of Jocheong during Storage (청국장과 조청을 이용하여 제조한 쌈장의 저장 중 품질특성)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to develop easy-made ssamjang products with differentiated materials and methods to meet the needs for a healthy and easy- lifestyle trend with lowered manufacturing expenses. Methods: Ssamjang was made with cheonggukjang and different kinds of jocheong as glutinous (GRSS), sweet potato (SPTSS), sweet pumpkin (SPKSS), bellflower root (BRSS) and ginger (GSS) and stored at $4^{\circ}C$ for 16 weeks. Quality characteristics and consumer acceptability were measured. Results: Titratable acidity was higher in SPTSS and rapidly increased (p<0.05) after 9 weeks in all groups during storage. Amino-type nitrogen contents of SPTSS and SPKSS were the highest and rapidly increased (p<0.05) after 5 weeks. Total free sugar content was higher in GRSS and did not change during storage. Glutamic acid and total free amino acid contents were higher in SPTSS, SPKSS and continuously increased up to 9 weeks. Yeast counts rapidly increased (p<0.05) after 9 weeks reaching 4.0 Log CFU/g in all groups except for SPTSS. Consumer acceptability did not change during storage in all groups and GSS was least preferable. Conclusion: The optimal quality maintenance period of ssamjang with cheonggukjang and jocheong was determined to 7-9 weeks of storage at $4^{\circ}C$ and ginger jocheong was the least preferable materials. We conclude that it is possible to develop easy-made ssamjang products with cheonggukjang and non-fermented materials also skipping aging period.

A study on the Choice, Arrangement and Operation of Plantation for Development of Tourism Botanical Garden (관광식물원 조성을 위한 식재수종의 선택과 배치 및 운영에 관한 연구)

  • We designed the model picture of Tourism Botanical Garden, as a kind of theme park, in which we could enjoy flowers all the year round and the glorious tints of its autumn foliage. It would be very important to decide what kinds of trees should be planted and where to plant them. We selected the appropriate flowers and trees according to their value of appreciation and flowering time and the grand view around there and the weather conditions of the central region. We selected perennial plants as native plants, according to their color, flowering time and for the convenience of maintenance. And we selected some kinds of culture plants to show the seasonal change and diversity, according to their color and flowering time. We adopted the roof-tile pattern of Pakjae Kingdom to design the basic model of the garden, and the area was divided into eight sections. Six of them were divided again into four small planting areas from the outside respectively, according to the kinds of trees; pine-tree area, native flowering plant area, flowering tree area and flowering shrub area. The last two sections are by a lake, so they could make a beautiful landscape of waterfront. For the effective and economic operation of the garden, some kinds of flower trees and shrubs, which are little damaged by blight and are needless to prune, were selected. And perennial plants were also selected, because we don't have to change them into other plants, so we could cut down the expenses. As for the culture plants, they could be easily replaced with other culture plants in the flowering time, to show seasonal change and the harmony with the scenery around the garden.

Fundamental Properties on the Development of High Performance Shrinkage Reducing Agent for Concrete (콘크리트용 고성능 수축저감제 개발에 대한 기초적 특성)

  • The expenses of maintenance and reinforcement for aged concrete structures are significantly on the increase as their durability and general performance has been naturally degraded. Due to this reason, interests on concrete crack reduction technology are growing but more researches are required to fulfill such fast growing demands. Particularly in the underground power facilities, it is difficult to maintain the quality of aging concrete spheres for underground power as their deterioration caused by long-term operation is on-going. In recent years, many studies have been made to overcome the issues and now it is determined that the shrinkage reducing technology which can dramatically reduce the crack at the design stage is one of the most effective solutions. In this study, the test investigated fundamental propertiesof concrete using various shrinkage reducing materials to develop low shrinkage mortar. According to results of experimental study, for mortar and concrete, glycol based material showed excellent shrinkage property and compressive strength. For the later study to generic application of the shrinkage reducing materials, performance reviews on the shrinkage reducing materials with variable factors and various materials such as changes in the amount and type of materials should be followed.
