The supply chain security programs are designed to prevent terrorist attacks on world transit system, and to help protect the passengers and workers who use these systems on a daily basis. as evidenced by the train bombings in London and Madrid in recent years, the threats to America's transit systems are real. After 9 11 terrors in 2001, security problem is appearing to every nations and international organizations main pending issue than any problem and various countermeasure is prepared. Security is the major issue in international trade, with significant potential costs and economic impact. So, We need to ensure that supply chain security does not become a new non-tariffs barrier. The aim of this study is to examine the international maritime and aviation law on the supply chain security. Also I review the supply chain security in U.S. and other countries.

In this study we propose the improvement countermeasure of disaster prevention by analyzing the damage cause and issue point from examination by Typhoon "maemi" in Kyongsangnamdo region. The main damage cause by Typhoon "maemi" in this region is the rising of water level in river and the overflowing of bank. The basic countermeasure is executing the disaster policy enforcement for the improvement of agriculture infrastructure facilities.

This paper is very exploratory and addresses the issue 'Is a general quality model of software possible?'. If possible, how specific can/should it be?' ISO 25000 Series SQuaRE is generally regarded as a general quality model which can be applied to most kinds of software. Usability is one of the 8 characteristics of SQuaRE's Product Quality Model. It is the main issue associated with SQuaRE's Quality in Use Model too. it is the most important concept associated software quality since using is the only ultimate goal of software products. Playability, however, is generally regarded as a special type of usability, which can be applied to game software. This common idea contradicts with the idea that SQuaRE is valid for most kinds, at least many kinds, of software. The empirical evidences of this paper show that SQuaRE is too specific to be a general quality model of software.

National Geographic Information System(NGIS) should be designed on the assumption that geographic data collected by each national organization should be integrated into geographic database systemically. To achieve this object, NGIS database would be better connected to National Very High-Speed Communication Network. In the process of research, some problems related to Korean NGIS are found. These are standardization, compatibility, extension, issue of making and opening digital map, and issue related to land information. So, it is required that pilot project apply National Geographic Information System in terms of National Very High-Speed computer network project. This project is to contain two main theme building of physical network and special management of network which is related with NGIS.

The story treats each individual's vision as well as social reality that the author intends to describe. The purpose of this article is to search for the conflict between vision and reality, especially in feminist problem that critics have treated on the works of women writers. Though some articles have studied on the issue similar to this article, I try to analyze the narratives in the text that the author herself confesses to us. I think that we can find out clear messages from the individuals who construct the human relationship and build up their personal history through their dialogue or monologue. We can also catch their main problems in the community. I discuss the topic by mentioning the detailed discourses referred to the heroine and other characters in the text. The passages mentioned by the characters in the story may be a confession for the present and future generation that the author tries to confess. From the excerpts of some discourse, I can conclude that though Dorothea has a vision for her ideal, she is a failed feminist, for society is too strong for her as Miller (1990) argues.

Main focus on balance shaft module is to reduce the vibration triggered from engine block and compensate it from unbalance mass in balance shaft. Since the performance of balance shaft module is controlled by rotor shape including unbalance mass, a design strategy on rotor is key issue on determine the quality of balance shaft system. Even the design result on balance shaft mostly affect the lay-out of housing and other related components, its issue on balance shaft should be considered in advance throughout the total design procedure. In this paper, optimal design strategy focused on balance shaft is presented to make a design process efficiently with ensuring its high performance. And its method is verified with field design process of balance shaft in commonly adapted vehicle with 3-cylinder and 4-cylinder engine.

Marine technology must advance to meet the needs of a wealthier and more demanding public while at the same time provide greater environmental protection. Pollution noise and vibration is the specific issue being discussed in this paper Noise is of course due to vibration from high speed engines driving generators, entilators, winch and other gear, while underwater noise pollution results from the propellers and the resistance produced by the hull of the ship moving through the water. Vibration is also a factor in potential damage to sensitive electronic gear and metal fatigue. The issue of noise pollution does not cease when a vessel enters her berth and the main engines shut down. There is still the matter of ventilation and other mechanical factors at work to maintain a comfortable, efficient environment. We measured the noise level and vibration displacement in the training ship A-Ra at underway and Berth. The authors analyzed the frequency of noise and maximum vibration displacement in the position.

On the situation cooperating with business partners on the supply chain, systematic decision making process is a critical issue for them. The two major issues of purchasing strategy such as selecting vendors and managing them are important part of their overall business activities. This study mainly focus on the former issue of the vendor selection. Through the empirical study, analytical hierarchy process (AHP) method was applied to select vendors among supplier vendors based on four selection criteria such as the level of quality, product on management ability, delivery, and price. The results of study showed the main criteria of vender selection was the ability of quality management. The vender selected based on AHP and the current selection method was different, but implicitly projected the dilemma situation between quality and price which occurs in decision making process of real life.

Document retrieval (DR) has been a serious issue for long in the field of Office Information Management. Nowadays, our daily work is becoming heavily dependent on the usage of information collected from the internet, and the DR methods on the Web has become an important issue which is studied more than any other topic by many researchers. The main purpose of this study is to develop a model to manage business documents by integrating three major methodologies used in the field of electronic library and information retrieval: Metadata, Thesaurus, and Index/Reversed Index. In addition, we have added a new concept of eDocument, which consists of metadata about unit documents and/or unit document themselves. eDocument is introduced as a way to utilize existing document sources. The core concepts and structures of the model were introduced, and the architecture of the eDocument management system has been proposed. Test (simulation) result of the model and the direction for the future studies were also mentioned.
