Recently, software industry regarding national defense increases system development of distributed simulation system of M&S based to overcome limit of resource and expense. It is one of key technologies for offering of mutual validation among objects and reuse of objects which are discussed for developing these systems. RTI, implementation of HLA interface specification as software providing these technologies uses Federation Object Model for exchanging information with joined federates in the federation and each federate has a characteristic that is supposed to have identical FOM in the federation. This paper presents a characteristic of Base Object Model, SISO standardization for improving reuse and interoperability of Federation Object Model applied simulation network manager based HLA/RTI and suggests method of designing the structure of simulation network manager through the modularity of Federation Object Model.

최근 스마트폰과 관련한 게임 어플리케이션들이 여가시간이나 자투리 시간 활용에 폭발적인 인기를 누리고 있다. 본 논문은 이러한 환경에서 스마트폰을 이용하여 남, 여 연예인 사진을 가지고 이미지 퍼즐을 풀어 유명 연예인의 사진을 맞추는 이미지 퍼즐 게임을 안드로이드 기반으로 구현하였다. 본 연구에서 개발된 스마트폰 어플리케이션은 스마트폰이 대중화 된 무선 인터넷 시대에서 모든 스마트폰 사용자들이 여가시간을 즐겁게 활용할 수 있도록 설계 및 구현되었다.

A modified $Brostr{\ddot{o}}m$ procedure has been widely accepted as a treatment of choice for patients with chronic lateral ankle instability. The procedure is highly reliable and provides successful outcomes in approximately 90% of cases. Severe degree of instability, absence or poor quality of the ligamentous remnant, obesity, and generalized joint hypermobility have been regarded as poor prognostic factors related to the modified $Brostr{\ddot{o}}m$ procedure. However, these perceptions are based on a low level of evidence studies or expert opinions. Therefore, the aim of this article was to search for evidences regarding the poor prognostic factors of the modified $Brostr{\ddot{o}}m$ procedure.

Tetrofosmin is a ligand that forms a lipophilic, cationic complex with Tc-99m. Tc-99m tetrofosmin was developed as a myocardial perfusion imaging agent and also used to depict tumors. Mediastinal tumors is also detected by Tc-99m tetrofosmin. We report a case of extracardiac mediastinal activity detected by Tc-99m tetrofosmin scintigraphy, which revealed thymoma.

Korean defense specifications are the technical criteria of military products and major factor of acquisition system. Weapon systems and acquisition technique have been advanced dramatically after 1990's, but Korean defense specification practice standard has stayed after early 1980's except embedded software. The current status of current Korean defense specification practice standard and trend of related design and acquisition techniques like M&S, SBA, and digital manufacturing have been reviewed. This paper suggests that transfer to product, IT oriented specification structure, adaptation of digital product model and reinforcement of engineering management systems to establish a development initiative of Korean defense specification practice standard.

The mean is generally used as a point estimator in water-quality data. Unfortunately, the nonnormal and skewed distributions of data hinder the direct application of the mean, which is inappropriate statistics in this case. The use of robust statistics such as L, M, and R-estimators are recommended and become more efficient. The median (L-estimator), the biweight (M-estimator), and the Hodges-Lehmann method (R-estimator) are briefly introduced and applied in this paper. From the actual data analyses, it is known that the median does not guarantee robustness for a small number of data sets, and robust measures of location or the arithmetic mean without outliers are highly recommended if the distribution has tails or outliers. Care must be taken to measure the location because water quality level within a water body can change depending on the selected point estimator.
