A study about performance analysis of synchronization clock using measured clock noises is required. Therefore this paper executed the study for performance analysis of synchronization clock and acquirement of maximum number of network node with various clock states using measured clock noises in NG-SDH networks. Also this paper generated a suitable clock model using measured clock noises, and carried out simulations with various clock states. Through the simulation results, maximum numbers were 80 or more network nodes in normal state, and were below 37 nodes in short-term phase transient(SPT) state, and were 50 or more in long-term phase transient(LPT) state. Accordingly this study showed that maximum numbers to meet ITU-T specification were below 37 network nodes in three clock states. Also this study showed that when SPT or LPT states occur from NE network before DOTS system, synchronization source must change with other stable synchronization source of normal state.
This study was conducted to find out definition, specification and characteristics of water-proof method for pond at golf courses that located in the mountain in Korea. Water-proof method of pond was selected by location, kind of soil, area, depth, cost, construction period and so on. 1. Soil Bentonite Sealing Liner(SBL) is to mix soil with a good quality bentonite. Then the mixed material was dressed on the bottom of pond. $\\$Merit of SBL is to purify the water and planting is possible. It can also reduce construction period and is economical. It's easy to find out the leak points. Demerit of SBL is expensive, if good quality soil is not in constructing site. Shape of pond edge is simple. 2. Ethylen Propylene Diene Monomer Sheef(EPDM-Sheet) makes use of sheet that resists to acid and alkaline. EPDM-Sheet spreads out as a mat on the pond for water-proof. Merit of EPDM-Sheet is to perfectly prove water and make a diverse shape of pond edge. Demerit of EPDM-Sheet is not friendly to environment. It needs drain system, air ventilation and long period of construction. It is also difficult to find out leaking points in this method. 3. Water proof of ESS-13 uses ESS-13 that is resin of vegetable matter and friendly to environment. To prove water of pond, ESS-13 is delicate with water in the pond. After that, Ess-13 in the water is expanded at pore space in the soil and cover with soil. ESS-13 can be to prove a leaking pond in golf course under business. ESS-13 is cheap and it needs short construction period. It does not need to switch the old water-proof system, additionally. It needs to move fishes to other place before utilizing ESS-13.

Cognitive impairment is symptoms of dementia, a degenerative brain disease that is drawing attention in a rapidly aging society. This study was conducted to investigate the improvement of cognitive function of Leonurus japonicus on scopolamine-induced memory impairment in mice and the effect and mechanism of memory recovery. In vivo studies were conducted on mice orally pretreated with L. japonicus in doses of 50, 100 and 200 mg/kg (p.o.) and scopolamine (1 mg/kg, i.p.) were injected 30 min before the behavioral task. Antioxidant activity was assessed by 2,2-diphenyl-1-picryl hydrazyl (DPPH) assay and 2,2-azino-bis (3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulfonic acid) (ABTS) assay, and acetylcholinesterase (AChE) inhibition activity evaluated by Ellman's method. In behavior studies showed that L. japonicus has an improved the memory of scopolamine-treated mice in Y-maze, passive avoidance and Morris water maze test. In addition, L. japonicus was also exerted free radical scavenging activity and inhibited acetyl cholinesterase activity. These results suggest that L. japonicus improves short-term and long-term memory in scopolamine-induced memory decline model and prevents scopolamine-induced memory impairments through in reduced oxidative stress and acetyl cholinesterase inhibition effect. Thus, L. japonicus is related to functional medicinal materials for prevention and treatment of human dementia patients.
The Axes and Adzes are the oldest tools since the beginning of human history which is used to cut the tree and make part of architecture such as boards, square timber etc. Nowadays, these old woodworking tools especially "Jagui(자귀)" (adze) has been almost disappeared at the working site of residential and cultural properties. It is necessary to study Korean traditional woodworking tools to keep Korean traditional skill and technology. It has been reviewed the change of shape of "Jagui(자귀)" (adze) from before Samhan (삼한) period to Joseon Dynasty through excavated relics and paintings and summarize as follows: Based on excavation relics of Dahori, both plate type blade and pocket type blade are used for "Tokki(도끼)" (axe) and "Jagui(자귀)" (adze). The excavated "Jagui(자귀)" (adze) from Jeongbaikri 356 tomb, near Pyongyang is prototype of "Jagui(자귀)" (adze) used nowdays which has almost same shape as well as the insert method of blade and handle. The auxiliary handle is inserted to blade and the main handle is inserted to the auxiliary handle which is different from the method of Chinese and Japanese "Jagui(자귀)" (adze). The length of handle of "Jagui(자귀)" (adze) until late Joseon Dynasty is short by which we assume it is used for a sitting position as hand held Jagui and from that time long handle has been introduced for a standing position which is called "Sunjagui(선자귀)". "Jagui(자귀)" (adze) has been used since the beginning of human history but it is almost disappeared at the most of woodworking site which is the crisis of Korean traditional architecture and we have to do something to keep it.
As the lifespan has been expanded, the marital relationship later in life is getting more important. This study is to find out what the demand for the education of marital couples to improve this relationship. The results can be used as basic data to develop educational programs for elder couples. The results of this study are as follows. 1. Couple role according to socio-demographic variables can be divided into traditional and modern roles. And these variables are shown to be significant in couple role. 2. Need for the education of married couples according to socio-demographic variables. In case of spouses having shorter marriage period, religion, and a nuclear family, and doing social activities, the necessity of education is recognized highly. Those who have a spouse with good health and social activities have experienced a chance to attend the educational program. It is thought that health and social activities have much to do with active living attitude. In case of old age, it can be thought that they don't feel the necessity because they have lived a decent life for a long time. It is just that it comes from the fixed ideas of elder couples who had to spend only a short time with their spouses. That is what elder couples have to overcome. They tend to think that the relationship between the family is more important than that of spouses, and they put family relationship before the quality of their own lives. 3. Influence of the need for the education of married couples according to their role. As their role are becoming modern and their mutual trust, affinity, and cohesion are getting more important, the education of married couples and the experiences of communication and participation in the educational program are thought to be more necessary.
Purpose: Patients with Parkinson's disease suffer many restrictions in daily life. This case report investigated how intervention with proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation (PNF)-based physical therapy can affect the activities of Parkinson's patients. Methods: The subject was a 67-year-old female patient diagnosed with Parkinson's disease 3 years ago. Since the last five months, overall activities have become difficult for her, and she finally visited a hospital to take outpatient physical therapy because of the gait difficulties she suffered. The patient's medical history, system review, body structure and function, and activities were evaluated. The patient had difficulties in activities such as lying down, sitting, standing, maintaining a standing position, and walking. The PNF-based intervention was used for treating the impairments and improving the activities. The intervention was performed for 30 min a day, three times a week, for eight weeks. The qualifier of the international classification of functioning, disability, and health was used to measure the result, and the measurement was conducted before and after the intervention for eight weeks. Results: According to the result, the scores for maintaining a standing position, moving around within the home, and going to the toilet improved to "no problem" from "moderate problem." The scores for shifting the body's center of gravity, walking short distances, and washing oneself improved from "moderate problem" to "mild problem." The scores for sitting and standing improved to "no problem" and "mild problem" from "complete problem." The scores for preparing meals and doing housework improved from "severe problems" to "mild problem" or "moderate problem." The scores for walking long distances, moving around outside the home and other buildings, and using transportation did not show significant changes. Conclusion: Intervention with PNF-based physical therapy improved the activity of patients with Parkinson's disease, thus proving its effectiveness. The case report suggested that a therapist can use PNF as a physical therapy intervention for patients with Parkinson's who suffered restrictions in daily activities.
Ocean surface waves may be modified by ocean current and their observation may be severely distorted if the observer is on a moving platform with changing speed. Tidal current near a sill varies inversely with the water depth, and results spatially inhomogeneous modulation on the surface waves near the sill. For waves propagating upstream, they will encounter stronger current before reaching the sill, and therefore, they will shorten their wavelength with frequency unchanged, increase its amplitude, and it may break if the wave height is larger than 1/7 of the wavelength. These small scale (${\sim}$ 1 km changes is not suitable for satellite radar observation. Spatial distribution of wave-height spectra S(x, y) can not be acquired from wave gauges that are designed for collecting 2-D wave spectra at fixed locations, nor from satellite radar image which is more suitable for observing long swells. Optical images collected from cameras on-board a ship, over high-ground, or onboard an unmanned auto-piloting vehicle (UAV) may have pixel size that is small enough to resolve decimeter-scale short gravity waves. If diffuse sky light is the only source of lighting and it is uniform in camera-viewing directions, then the image intensity is proportional to the surface reflectance R(x, y) of diffuse light, and R is directly related to the surface slope. The slope spectrum and wave-height spectra S(x, y) may then be derived from R(x, y). The results are compared with the in situ measurement of wave spectra over Keelung Sill from a research vessel. The application of this method is for analysis and interpretation of satellite images on studies of current and wave interaction that often require fine scale information of wave-height spectra S(x, y) that changes dynamically with time and space.
In general, collections in museum are kept in storage according to a preservation and administration program in long or short term, after conservators' conservation treatment. Museum activities related to conservation science are common to do before and after exhibitions. That is, the museum collections include a flow mechanism, which circulate a space in where conservation science related activity is carried on centering around its storage. The purpose of this study is to suggest the design guidelines of a conservation area in a museum. The results of this study as follows. First, to program space planning, conservation area of museum is divided into 4 kinds of zone. Second, space for relics unloading in basically includes 'unloading room', 'control room', 'worker room', 'unpacking room', and 'unloading tools storage' and considers to install 'outdoor arrangement space', etc. In case of space for making relics collections, 'arrangement room' and 'temporary storage' are separately planned in order to arrange and temporarily store relics taken in. Conservation analysis space should be divided into 2 kinds of zone, 'conservation analysis lab' for analysis of collection characters and 'restoration lab' for conservation treatment in the bigger museum. In case of large-scale museum, conservation treatment space is basically classified with characters of museum collections. And it considers installing 'waterlogged wood lab', 'painting clothes treatment lab', 'storage of treated relics' etc. Third, for 'the spaces for analysis treatment', must consider activity contents and sizes of the department for scientific conservation every museum, can classify in detail required space, and must review the space for relics settlement in construction.
Number of fixtures supporting prosthesis for rehabilitation of partial edentulism in distal area is an important factor in distal area to the bone tissue response around dental implant. Optimal number and optimal positioning of dental implant has leaded to the stable condition of bone tissue and successful long-term treatment outcome. This clinical and radiographic study was performed to document and evaluate the short-term result of occlusal rehabilitation by means of implant-supported fixed prostheses (ISPs) especially for partial edentulism in distal area in patients treated for advanced periodontal disease and to verify the number of fixture affecting the bone tissue response. A total of 30 consecutive patients referred because of advanced periodontal disease were included. Before the implant therapy was initiated, periodontal treatment was performed and the outcome evaluated during at least a 6-month period. An individual maintenance care program was designed for each patient. All 75 implants were placed using a 2-stage surgical approach. The patients were divided into 2 groups, in one of which two fixtures were placed and in the other of which three fixtures were placed with tripodal geometry. Following installation of the ISPs, all patients underwent a baseline examination including evaluation of i) oral hygiene, and ii) periodontal/ peri-implant conditions, and iii) radiographs. These examinations were repeated annually during the 1 or 2-year observation period. The results were as follows: 1.No single implant was lost during the observation follow-up period. 1.The percentage of plaque harboring surfaces and bleeding units upon probing were found to be low (<10%), and no soft tissue complications were recorded. 1.Two-fixture group showed bone destruction ranged from 0.0mm to 1.5mm and the mean was 0.31mm. Three-fixture group showed more bone destruction of 0.51mm. There was no statistically difference between two groups. These results suggested that the factor for success is not the number of fixture but the strict maintenance of peri-implant tissue health and initial stability of fixture.

The subjects of this study were 415 children in the first to third grade selected from 4 primary schools. Among them, 212 children belong to the experimental group, and 203 children were in the control group. The program was provided respectively to first, third and fifth grade children for 2, 4 and 6 teaching-hours from 2013.1.1 to 2013.12.19. To measure the effects of the program, the knowledge and attitudes on/toward smoking, self-concept were used as the research tools. Before and after program-implementation, there were significant differences in knowledge of smoking, but no differences in attitudes and self-concept. A smoking prevention program for primary school children should be applied step-by-step in conjunction with the regular education curriculum. In addition, the program should aim for long-term effects rather than short-term effects.
