물류성과가 개발도상국가의 외국인직접투자에 미치는 영향 분석 (Logistic Performance Impact on FDI Inflow in Developing Countries)

  • 본 연구는 물류성과가 개발도상국으로 유입되는 FDI에 미치는 영향에 대하여 분석하였다. 분석결과 물류 성과지표 중에서 운송 인프라와 화물의 적시성은 저소득 국가로의 FDI에 통계적으로 유의하게 정(+)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 중소득국가를 대상으로 분석한 경우에는 화물의 적시성만이 FDI에 유의하게 부(-)의 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 차이는 저소득국가와 중소득국가로 이루어지는 FDI의 성격이 다르기 때문이다. 저소득국가로 이루어지는 FDI는 저임금에 기초한 생산비절감을 위한 것이고, 중소득국가의 경우는 생산비절감을 위한 FDI와 소비시장 확대를 위한 FDI가 복합적으로 이루어지고 있기 때문이다. 무역비용(Trade Cost)의 일부로 볼 수 있는 물류성과지표는 무역뿐만 아니라 오프쇼어링을 목적으로 하는 FDI 유입에까지 영향을 미치고 있다고 할 수 있다.

의왕 ICD 철도수송 활성화 방안에 대한 연구 (A study on the promotion for rail transport in Ui-Wang ICD)

  • 교토의정서 및 발리로드맵 이후 우리나라도 2013년부터 온실가스배출감축대상국에 포함될 예정임에 따라 친환경물류에 대한 정부차원의 대책마련도 시급한 상황이다. 본 연구는 이러한 정부차원의 친환경 녹색성장 정책에 맞춰 가장 친환경적인 철도물류 및 복합운송에 대한 활성화를 본격 연구하게 되었다. 본 연구에서 나타난 의왕ICD 터미널 내 철도물류시설의 주요 문제점으로는 하치장 부족, 공용 CY 비활성화, 비주주사 이용불편 등으로 나타나고 있으며, 철도물류시설의 주요 개선방안으로는 하치장의 추가 확장, 공용CY 활성화를 위한 철도공사 직영 및 상시하역체계 구축 조성 등의 철도물류시설개선이 필요한 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 철도물류시설의 개선은 철도공사 또는 업체의 노력으로만 해결될 수 있는 사안은 아니다. 철도물류시설과 복합화물 터미널은 대규모의 투자자금이 필요한 시설이며 사회간접자본(SOC)성격이 강하므로 민간차원에서 개선하는 데에는 한계가 있으므로 정부차원에서 보다 적극적인 개선방안을 모색할 필요가 있다. 이러한 정부차원의 철도물류시설 개선은 친환경녹색물류에 대한 지원정책으로 물류정책기본법에 의해 지원이 가능하므로 세부적인 지침 등을 마련하여 복합화물터미널이 근본적으로 활성화 될 수 있는 계기가 마련되어야 할 것이다.

  • The Intelligent Manufacturing Systems (IMS) Rapid Product Development (RPD) Project is an international partnership formed to build a pre-competitive research and development program that will address the integration of new technologies in manufacturing and provide an infrastructure for industry to cooperate much more closely in the product development cycle. In this explanatory paper, a research trend of the RPD project is briefly presented, together with its background and state-of-the-art, focusing on objectives and target results of its sub-projects which include rapid development of functional parts and tools, validation and reverse engineering, and information logistic system.

보행자 다리상해 영향요인 분석 (Analysis of Factors Affecting Pedestrian Leg Injury Severity)

  • This study analyzed contributing factors affecting leg injury severity in pedestrian-vehicle crashes. A Binary Logistic Regression (BLR) method was used to identify the factors. Independent variables include characteristics for pedestrian, vehicle, road, and environmental conditions. The leg injury severity is classified into two classes, which are dependent variables in this study, such as 'severe' and 'minor' injuries. Pedestrian age, collision speed, and the height of vehicle were identified as significant factors for the leg injury. The probabilistic outcome of predicting leg injury severity can be effectively used in not only deriving pedestrian-related safety policies but also developing advanced vehicular technologies for pedestrian protection.

  • The logistics industry in Incheon is lack of basic usage for logistic information. As development of logistics industry the companies recognized the importance of logistics informatization. But due to a small scale of logistic companies it is difficult to equip the basic infrastructure for logistics informatization. To investigate the status of informatization of logistics companies in Incheon, we divide questionnaire by the aspects of information operations, aspects of information needs, information effects and policy aspects of planning and support information. By the result of survey we suggest the supporting plan for Incheon logistics industry.

  • A lot of efforts are inclined by concluding the Kyoto Protocol in Japan for the exhaust decreasing of the $CO_2$ gas in 1997. The Japan Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is promoting various policies through various policies such as `new synthesis logistics policy', 'green logistic partnership meeting', establishment of 'logistics efficiency law' etc. The modal shift case that the individual logistic company in Japan was promoting under such a policy was analyzed in this research, and a modal shift on the distribution site was very promoted, and applicability in our country was examined through the instruction point to this in the future.

국제해상운송업의 물류경쟁력 영향요인 (The Effects of Logistics Competence in Korea Overseas Shipping Industry)

  • The purpose of this study is to consider the problem on pursuit of logistics strategy by our international shipping company in international shipping business under the said circumstance due to the open international shipping market and to suggest the logistics strategy for the consideration of the logistics competition under new international shipping circumstances. The results of empirical analysis are mentioned as follows; First, it shall be considered to maintain the size of company bigger than a certain capability so that it may obtain the superior competition of logistics. Second, as there are the plus correlations between the competition of logistics and the logistic support, it is necessary to pursuit the upgrade service with using EDI system and making up the complex shipping and integrated logistics system in general. Third, with the rationalization of finance policy and the profitable management of shipping company the ratio of net worth can be raised and it can be achieved to make the sound financial structure as reducing the excessive debt ratio. Fourth, it can be effort continuously to perform the investment for the infrastructure of logistics support & the institutional supplement so that it may achieve to increase the efficiency of logistic support at pier and to reduce the cost of logistic support.

Damage evolution of red-bed soft rock: Progressive change from meso-texture to macro-deformation

  • Many foundation projects are built on red-bed soft rocks, and the damage evolution of this kind of rocks affects the safety of these projects. At present, there is insufficient research on the damage evolution of red-bed soft rocks, especially the progressive process from mesoscopic texture change to macroscopic elastoplastic deformation. Therefore, based on the dual-porosity characteristics of pores and fissures in soft rock, we adopted a cellular automata model to simulate the propagation of these voids in soft rocks under an external load. Further, we established a macro-mesoscopic damage model of red-bed soft rocks, and its reliability was verified by tests. The results indicate that the relationship between the number and voids size conformed to a quartic polynomial, whereas the relationship between the damage variable and damage porosity conformed to a logistic curve. The damage porosity was affected by dual-porosity parameters such as the fractal dimension of pores and fissures. We verified the reliability of the model by comparing the test results with an established damage model. Our research results described the progressive process from mesoscopic texture change to macroscopic elastoplastic deformation and provided a theoretical basis for the damage evolution of these rocks.

Association between Electronic Medical Record System Adoption and Healthcare Information Technology Infrastructure

  • Objectives: The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between the level of Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system adoption and healthcare information technology (IT) infrastructure. Methods: Both survey and various healthcare administrative datasets in Korea were used. The survey was conducted during the period from June 13 to September 25, 2017. The chief information officers of hospitals were respondents. Among them, 257 general hospitals and 273 small hospitals were analyzed. A logistic regression analysis was conducted using the SAS program. Results: The odds of having full EMR systems in general hospitals statistically significantly increased as the number of IT department staff members increased (odds ratio [OR] = 1.058, confidence interval [CI], 1.003-1.115; p = 0.038). The odds of having full EMR systems was significantly higher for small hospitals that had an IT department than those of small hospitals with no IT department (OR = 1.325; CI, 1.150-1.525; p < 0.001). Full EMR system adoption had a positive relationship with IT infrastructure in both general hospitals and small hospitals, which was statistically significant in small hospitals. The odds of having full EMR systems for small hospitals increased as IT infrastructure increased after controlling the covariates (OR = 1.527; CI, 1.317-4.135; p = 0.004). Conclusions: This study verified that full EMR adoption was closely associated with IT infrastructure, such as organizational structure, human resources, and various IT subsystems. This finding suggests that political support related to these areas is indeed necessary for the fast dispersion of EMR systems into the healthcare industry.

3D 수치해석을 이용한 퇴적암 터널의 암반 등급별 전변위 산정 (Estimation of Total Displacements by RMR Grades using 3-Dimensional Numerical Analysis)

  • 터널이 굴착되면 응력이 재분배되는 과정동안 변위가 발생한다. 터널의 변위는 굴착 전 선행변위, 굴착 후 미측정 변위, 계측변위로 구분할 수 있다. 일반적으로 굴착 전 선행변위와 굴착 후 미측정 변위의 현장 측정은 어렵기 때문에 터널 굴착에 따른 전변위의 크기와 변화 양상을 산정하기 위한 연구가 많이 수행되어왔다. 본 연구에서는 퇴적암을 기반으로 하는 터널의 지반등급별 전변위를 산정하고 이들의 특성을 파악하기 위하여 역해석 기법을 사용하였다. 계측변위와 3차원 수치해석에 의해 계산된 변위의 오차를 최소한으로 줄여 지반등급별 물성치를 추정하였으며, 굴착에 따른 전변위 분포 양상을 산정하였다. 최종적으로 logistic 모형을 따르는 지반등급별 굴착에 따른 변위의 비선형 회귀식을 산정하였다.
