With the rapid growth of e-logistics in the global logistics industry, it is important to gain further insight into this growing segment of Chinese logistics industry. The current situation in China consists of many small and medium-sized logistics firms. Furthermore, e-logistics is still relatively undeveloped in the majority of the Chinese logistics companies and presently there are still many problems unresolved. This paper attempted to review the concepts and theoretical background of e-logistics systems from previous studies. After acknowledging the essential issues related to e-logistics systems, a research model based on the theory acceptance model was designed and tested. The key factors to the e-logistics system (reliability, maintainability, software, facility and transportation) were validated through the modeling and testing process. Included in the modelling and testing process are other related factors of e-logistics process, logistics information system and added value as dependent variables in this model. The results of this study confirm that the e-logistics Process is affected by transportation, while maintainability and software factors influence logistics information system. reliability, maintainability, facility and transportation are significant factors associated with added value. This research aimed to provide theoretical and practical contribution to Chinese logistics companies and to give some insights into e-logistics system as a whole. The paper also provided some useful theoretical implication and practical guidelines for the development of e-logistics system in the chinese logistics industry.

In this paper, make a study decision problem called an optimal release policies after testing a software system in development phase and transfer it to the user. In the course of correcting or modifying the software, finite failure non-homogeneous Poisson process model, presented and was proposed release policies of the life distribution, half-logistic and log-logistic distributions model which used to an area of reliability because of various shape and scale parameter. In this paper, discuss optimal software release policies which minimize a total average software cost of development and maintenance under the constraint of satisfying a software reliability requirement. In a numerical example, the parameter estimation using maximum likelihood estimation of failure time data make out, and software optimal release time was estimated.

Recently, the multivariate statistical analysis has been used to analyze meaningful information for various data. In this paper, we develope the multivariate statistical analysis system combined with Fisher discriminant analysis, logistic regression, neural network, and decision tree using visual basic 6.0.

This study examined the predictive power of data mining algorithms by comparing the performance of logistic regression and decision tree algorithm, called CHAID (Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection), On the contrary to the previous studies, decision tree performed better than logistic regression. We have also developed a CDSS (Clinical Decision Support System) with three modules (doctor, nurse, and patient) based on data warehouse architecture. Data warehouse collects and integrates relevant information from various databases from hospital information system (HIS ). This system can help improve decision making capability of doctors and improve accessibility of educational material for patients.

Logistic support activities for weapon systems play an important role at maintenance activities in modern warfares. These activities are essential for keeping weapon systems ready at all time. However, maintenance supplies can be delayed without a proper information system. Further, increases of mean time to repair (MTTR) and unavailability of weapon systems can be occurred. In this study, a web based information system is developed for logistic chains of class 9 supplies. Utilizing web database technologies, the developed system can provide an environment for data exchange and sharing among various participants in the supply chain.

중국 경제의 급성장으로 전세계 물동량이 동북아시아로 집중되어 부산항을 포함한 동북아시아 주요 항만간 경쟁이 점차 심각해지고 있다. 이에 동북아시아 항만들은 생산성과 더불어 항만의 서비스를 극대화하고자 하는 노력을 기울이고 있다. 항만이 제공하여야 할 서비스 중 가장 중요하게 부각되고 있는 항만물류정보 시스템구축 및 효율적 운영에 총력을 기울이고 있는 실정이다. 그러나 부산항의 경우, 이미 항만물류 정보시스템은 구축이 되어 있으나 EDI문서의 중복성과 시스템 연계성 부족 등의 문제점으로 인해 아직 활성화 되지 못하였다. 이에 본 연구에서는 부산항 항만물류산업에서 EDI의 활용도를 높이기 위한 전체적인 연구모형 도출과 항만물류업체를 업종별, 집단별로 구분하여 차별화 된 활성화 모형을 도출하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다.

Strategic agility plays a critical role in sustaining competitive advantage in the turbulent environment. This study examines the relationship between a logistics information system and, strategic agility through the analysis of "H" corporation case. The results of case study showed that the introduction of logistic information system facilitates the degree of strategic sensitivity, collective commitments and resource fluidity, which are primary elements of strategic agility. This study gives an insight to the practitioners who attempt to create strategic agility through the implementation of logistic information systems.

This study examined the characteristicso f the knowledge discovery and data mining algorithms to demonstrate how they can be used to predict health outcomes and provide policy information for hypertension management using the Korea Medical Insurance Corporation database. Specifically this study validated the predictive power of data mining algorithms by comparing the performance of logistic regression and two decision tree algorithms CHAID (Chi-squared Automatic Interaction Detection) and C5.0 (a variant of C4.5) since logistic regression has assumed a major position in the healthcare field as a method for predicting or classifying health outcomes based on the specific characteristics of each individual case. This comparison was performed using the test set of 4,588 beneficiaries and the training set of 13,689 beneficiaries that were used to develop the models. On the contrary to the previous study CHAID algorithm performed better than logistic regression in predicting hypertension but C5.0 had the lowest predictive power. In addition CHAID algorithm and association rule also provided the segment characteristics for the risk factors that may be used in developing hypertension management programs. This showed that data mining approach can be a useful analytic tool for predicting and classifying health outcomes data.

In the paper, we builds an advanced new credit evaluation system for Micro-small sized individual firms through appropriate evaluation factors derived by logistic regression analysis for credit evaluation model using in Korean Federation of Credit Guarantee Foundations, and the weights of factors computed by analytic hierarchy process(AHP). Industry characteristics are more applied to previous credit model with the additional the financial fact-information and non-financial judgement-information. Our results show that the financial factors have become more important than three years ago. Moreover, in the non-financial factors, the fact-information factors consider more important then the judgement-information factors. A new credit evaluation system is developed based on this credit evaluation model.
