This paper aims to scrutinize the possibility of mereology as philosophically satisfiable metalogic. Motivation for this is straightforward. As I see, a traditional approach to metalogic presented in the name of mathematical logic posits the existence of mathematical entities such as sets, functions, models, etc. to give definitions of logical concepts like logical consequence. As a result, whenever logic is used in any individual sciences, this set-theoretical metalogic cannot but add these mathematical entities to the domain of them. This fact makes this approach contradict to the ontological conservativeness of logic. Mereology, however, has been alleged to be ontologically innocent, while it is a formal system very similar to set theory. So it may well be that some people thought of mereology as a good substitute for set theoretic metalanguage and concepts for ontologically neutral metalogic. Unfortunately, when we look into argument for the ontological innocence of mereology, we can find that mereological entities such as mereological sums or fusions are not ontologically neutral. Thus we can conclude that mereological approach to metalogic is not promising at all.
Williamson(1994) proved incompatibility of Gab Theory and Tarski T-schema. But this does not means that Gab Theory could not involve intuition on truth that is expressed by T-schema. I will show that Gab Theory and mutual entailment of 'p' and 'it is true that p'(p⊨T
and T
⊨p) are compatible. It will draw that Gab Theory can involve minimal intuition on truth. After all what I want to reveal is logical space for Gab Theory through the compatibility of the mutual entailment and negation of the Principle of Bivalence. To prove the compatibility, I will present a consequent relation which should be accepted whenever we accept Gab Theory and demonstrate Gab Theory and the mutual entailment imply following two thesis; 1) not-T
High burn-up transformation process in low temperature nuclear fuel oxides material was observed in the early sixties in LWR $UO_2$ fuels, but not studied in depth. Increasing progressively the fuel discharge burn-up in PWR power plants, this material transformation was again observed in 1985 and identified as an important process to be accounted for in the fuel simulations due to its expected consequence on fuel heat transfer and therefore on the fission gas release. Fission gas release was one of the major concerns in PWR fuels, mainly during transient or accidents events. The behaviour of such a material in case of rod failure was also an important aspect to analyse. Therefore several national and international programs were launched during the last 25 years to understand the mechanisms leading to the high burn-up structure formation and to evaluate the physical properties of the final material. A large observations database has been acquired, using the more sophisticated techniques available in hot cells. This large database is discussed in this paper, providing basis to build an engineering-model, which is based on phenomenological description data and information accumulated. In addition this paper has the ambition to construct the best logical model to understand restructuring.

This study is to examine the present situation relating to the works for landscape architecture in the universities of Korea with the aim of efficient landscape architecture in university campus and to provide the fundamental data of the logical and organized approach to the plans for campus landscape architecture. A survey of the staffs for landscape architecture in 20 national universities all over the country was carried out on the lot utilization ratio of each university, the development of landscape architecture department and its professionals in universities, the establishing status of the plans for landscape architecture of each university, and the satisfaction level of landscape architecture staffs. The results show that most universities pay a little attention to the whole campus landscape architecture according as they don't conduct the systematic works for landscape architecture and some which are done partially attach importance only to maintenance work such as simple controls of open space and trees. As a consequence, the active utilization of potential lot on campus and the organization of professionals and specialized teams for landscape architecture should be realized in order to make the works for campus landscape architecture effective. Besides, in policies, it is thought that the development of general plans and budgets for landscape architecture at the stage of establishing the medium-and long-tenn growth schemes of the universities is required.
This article examines the ways in which language can be exploited in the manipulation of the reader's interpretation of a text to make him/her take certain lines of thought according to the writer's persuasive intents. Such functions of language provide valid foundations to support the teaching of critical reading skills and to explore an adequate approach to discourse analysis. A pilot study was conducted to find out the extent to which the reader can be coaxed into thinking in some fashions guided by specific linguistic devices employed for ideological texts. Forty-seven subjects divided into two groups (humanities majors and natural science majors at undergraduate level) joined the two-fold questionnaire surveys intended to look at their critical reading abilities. The empirical results indicate that college students whose majors are humanities were more inclined to take a holistic approach in processing commercial advertisement texts and their abilities for critical interpretation appeared to be lower than those of the subjects whose majors are natural sciences, who showed a relatively high tendency to take an analytical approach in decoding the textual facts. As a consequence, pedagogic implications for increasing critical reading abilities have resulted in a set of analytical procedures concerning ideological texts which is linked with instructional guidelines to emphasize the importance of the reader's logical and analytical reasoning power, entirely accepted as a general prerequisite for cracking the covert language gambits.
About a Structure is performance external insulation is fundamantal performance for enrgy-saving. these day, most of residential structures have constructed by internal insulation method structure. The method structure internal insulation have construction and economical efficiency, but on the other hand, be generated heat loss by heat bridge especially, be generated loss heat-energy logical consequence in structure ondol. The external insulation structure method has a mert able to minimum to loss heat about heat-bridge. But the external insulation technique is unsatisfactory statues within the know-how and method of construction and materials compared with developed countries. The recently, the requirement of market related to the external insulation technique is resulted by the energy efficiency system, but it can lead to the lack of alternative technique In study on the korea type passive house building design for insulation block method of wall system has to experimental characteristic heat-energy of practice building. In result field-experimental, the heat-bridge appeared to characteristic spent heat-energy of blow 2L class and have a suffience performance it.
The present paper considers how to teach mathematical concepts. In particular, we aim to a balanced, unified achievement for three elements of concept loaming such as concept understanding, computation and application through one's mathematical intuition. In order to do this, we classify concepts into three patterns, that is, intuitive concepts, logical concepts and formal concepts. Such classification is based on three kinds of philosophy of mathematics : intuitionism, logicism, fomalism. We provide a concrete, practical investigation with important nine concepts in theory of vectors from the viewpoint of three patterns of concepts. As a consequence, we suggest certain solutions for an effective concept learning in teaching theory of vectors.
Promotion of the line no.2 in Seoul Metro was changing from the existing signaling facilities for ATS(Automatic Train Stop) vehicles to the up-to-date signaling facilities for ATO(Automatic Train Operation). But, in consequence of conducting a trial run after being equipped with the ATO signaling facilities, the matter related to mix-operation with the existing ATS signaling facilities appeared. The operation of the existing ATS signaling system in combination with the ATO signaling system has made improper working related to frequency recognition of the ATS On-board Computerized Equipment. This obstructs operation of a working ATS vehicle. That is, as barring operation of an ATS vehicle that should proceed, it may make the proceeding ATS vehicle stop suddenly and after all, it will cause safety concerns. In this paper, we designed a wayside track occupancy detector that previously prevents improper working related to frequency recognition of the ATS On-board Computerized Equipment by gripping classification and working processes of operating trains throughout transmission of local signaling information from the existing facilities, which does not need to change or replace the existing signaling facilities. Furthermore, we described general characteristics of the wayside track occupancy detector and modeled the IFC(InterFace Contrivance) device and the logical circuit recognizing signal information. Then, we made an application program of PLC(programmable Logic Computer) based on the stated model. We, in relation to data transfer method, used the frame in TCP/IP transfer mode as the standard, and we demonstrated that ATO transmission frequency is intercepted.

Prader-Willi syndrome (PWS) often develops type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) related to severe obesity. The prevalence of T2DM in adults with PWS (7-20%) exceeds greatly the prevalence in the general population (5-7%). It is uncommon for pre-pubertal children with PWS to develop overt diabetes or glucose intolerance. GH therapy and genotype did not influence the development of altered glucose metabolism. It has been assumed that T2DM in PWS develops as a consequence of morbid obesity and concomitant insulin resistance. However recent studies suggest the relationship between morbid obesity and T2DM development is more complex and appears to differ in PWS subjects compared to non-PWS subjects. PWS patients had relatively lower fasting insulin levels and increased adiponectin levels compared with BMI-matched obese control despite of similar levels of leptin. So PWS children may be protected to some extent form of obesity-associated insulin resistance. Although there's no data, it seems logical to approach diabetes management including weight loss and increased exercise, using similar pharmacological agents as with non-PWS obesity-related diabetes such as metformin or thiazolidinedione, with the introduction of insulin as required. On the other hand, several recent T2DM in PWS case reports suggest favorable outcomes using Glucagon-like peptide 1 (GLP-1) analog with regard to ghrelin reduction, control of glucose and appetite, weight loss and pre-prandial insulin secretion. The role of GLP-1 agonist therapy is promising, but has not yet been fully elucidated.

This paper presents a semi-automated formal verification method based on the famous SVO logic, and discusses its experimental results. We discuss several problems on automating the SVO logic and design its derivative, ASVO logic for automation. Also the proposed method is implemented by the Isabelle/Isar system. As a result, we verified the well-known weakness of the NSSK protocol that is vulnerable to the Denning-Sacco attack, using our Isabelle/ASVO system. Finally, we refined the protocol by following the logical consequence of the ASVO verification.
