We have developed 15 inch, 130 blocks local dimming FEL using printed CNT emitters, in which multiple FE blocks were built with a common gate electrode. Cathode electrode formed by the double-metal technique, in which an insulator is interposed between the addressing bus and cathode electrode.

We provide local and semilocal theorems for the convergence of Newton-like methods to a locally unique solution of an equation in a Banach space. The analytic property of the operator involved replaces the usual domain condition for Newton-like methods. In the case of the local results we show that the radius of convergence can be enlarged. A numerical example is given to justify our claim . This observation is important and finds applications in steplength selection in predictor-corrector continuation procedures.

We present a new local as well as a semilocal convergence analysis for Steffensen's method in order to locate fixed points of operators on a Banach space setting. Using more precise majorizing sequences we show under the same or less computational cost that our convergence criteria can be weaker than in earlier studies such as [1-13], [21, 22]. Numerical examples are provided to illustrate the theoretical results.

Affine invariant sufficient conditions are given for two local convergence theorems involving inexact Newton-like methods. The first uses conditions on the first Frechet-derivative whereas the second theorem employs hypotheses on the mth(m≥2 an integer). Radius of convergence as well as rate of convergence results are derived. Results involving superlinear convergence and known to be true for inexact Newton methods are extended here. Moreover, we show that under hypotheses on the mth Frechet-derivative our radius of convergence can sometimes be larger than the corresponding one in [10]. This allows a wider choice for the initial guess. A numerical example is also provided to show that our radius of convergence is larger than the one in [10].

This study was conducted to explain the capacity building policy of local public officials. Especially, it is to derive the policy task that can increase the efficiency within the limit of limited resources. The results of the study are as follows. First, local government officials' job management was the most important policy task in the largest framework to strengthen the capacity of local public officials. Next, the evaluation was in the order of recruitment management of local public officials and personnel management of local public officials. Second, the results of the evaluation of detailed policies. Among the local government officials 'job management, the introduction of the local government officials' rest period was evaluated as the most important. Regarding recruitment management of local public officials, reform of the public official exam courses was evaluated as the most important. In the personnel management of the local public officials, the job training of the elected officials was the most important. The results of this study will help to explain the policy development for strengthening the capacity of local public officials in realistic aspect. In order to strengthen the capacity of local public servants in future, it is necessary to analyze the measurement variables more.

Through these research results, I would like to present some implications for promoting and revitalizing local food sales in Daejeon and establishing a local food system. First, in terms of local food direct stores, when establishing a local food store, location conditions should be considered. If the location cannot be changed, the quality of agricultural products should be improved to improve consumer satisfaction and purchase intention so that consumers can directly feel the value of the product. Second, efforts at the local government level are needed to improve the stability of local food. There are still many consumers who are not properly aware of local food. It is necessary to improve consumers' interest in the value of local food by providing education including social and environmental information on the production and distribution process of local food. Third, policy efforts on local food are needed. It is necessary to introduce and reorganize the local food certification system to emphasize the stability of local food to consumers and form trust. Finally, for the continuous development of local food, research on the satisfaction and purchase intention of local food consumers must be continuously conducted.

Local college students are differenciated from Seoul-located university students and they experience discrimination and prejudice. The present paper examines the money-relating daily frustration among local university students compared to Seoul-located college students. For survey, twenty items were constructed in order to figure out daily frustration. About 400 local-college students and about 250 students were interviewed for the survey. As a result of Chi-square analysis, this study finds that local college students are more likely to confront money-relating frustration, compared to the Seoul-located college students. Youth allowance can be suggested for local college students in order to solve their confronting frustration, especially toward the convergence era.

Genetic algorithms are efficient techniques for searching optimum solution but have the premature convergence problem getting stuck in the local optimum according to the evolutionary operator. In this paper we analyzed the reason for converging to the local optimum and proposed the method which able transit to the global optimum from the local optimum. In these methods we used the variable evolutionary operator with the average hamming distance, to maintain the genetic diversity of the population for getting out of the local optimum. The theoretical results are proved by the simulation experiments.

Automatic facial expression recognition is a widely studied problem in computer vision and human-robot interaction. There has been a range of studies for representing facial descriptors for facial expression recognition. Some prominent descriptors were presented in the first facial expression recognition and analysis challenge (FERA2011). In that competition, the Local Gabor Binary Pattern Histogram Sequence descriptor showed the most powerful description capability. In this paper, we introduce hybrid facial representations for facial expression recognition, which have more powerful description capability with lower dimensionality. Our descriptors consist of a block-based descriptor and a pixel-based descriptor. The block-based descriptor represents the micro-orientation and micro-geometric structure information. The pixel-based descriptor represents texture information. We validate our descriptors on two public databases, and the results show that our descriptors perform well with a relatively low dimensionality.
