An Empirical Study on the Regional Characteristics of Venture Business (벤처기업의 지역적 특성에 관한 연구 - 수도권과 지방의 비교.분석을 중심으로 -)

  • In this paper, we tries to investigate whether there are some differences of the characteristics between venture business in the metropolitan area and in the local area. We set up some hypotheses on the regional characteristics of venture business and test those using the raw data of Small and Medium Business Administration (SMBA) survey on the management of venture business. Our main findings are as follows: First, we analyze the industrial composition of ventures by region and find that in the metropolitan area high-technology venture business which is belong to software, or information, or communication industries is given much weight. But in the provinces, ventures belong to traditional manufacturing industries is given much weight. Second, we compared the characteristics of business network by region and find that the ventures in the metropolitan area are active in technical cooperation among companies and want strategic tie-ups in marketing field, whereas the ventures in the provinces are active in technical cooperation with university and want strategic tie-ups in technical development field. Third, ventures in the metropolitan area are more excellent in technical development and management than ventures in the provinces.

  • The IEC 61850 communication standard is used worldwide, and within the country the new substation is built as a digital substation based on IEC 61850 from 2013, after field tests and R&D from 2007. Research on the development of digital substation operating system has been conducted mainly in large domestic companies, so the IED power application equipment for LCP are developed. However, there is still a lack of research in the field of systems that can accommodate all the field devices used for legacy substation and new digital substation. In this paper, we developed the 48VDC input modules and the 125VDC output modules which can construct proposed field information processing modules to IEC 61850 based type, and verified the field applicability from the state monitoring and control operation tests by using IEC 61850 client authentication program and Wireshark.

  • The concept of Cloud computing has been introduced in the IT field over 10 years and industry has been expanding constantly. However, compare to the maturity of global market, Korea cloud computing industry is only in the early stage. Even the Korea has advantages in technology infrastructure; the pace of Korea cloud computing market growth is taking a serious downturn. Under these circumstances, it is needed to be discussing that strategy for expanding the cloud computing market size and for sustaining global competitiveness of local companies. Previous studies on plans for Korea cloud computing market has been conducted since 2009 and most of them are tend to examined in demand perspective. Thus, this study aims at identifying the priority of business challenges for making better performance in the market with service provider aspects. To analyze the important factors in the providing cloud computing service, ANP methodology was applied in this study. The network model including five clusters, security, stability, performance, consumer, and institution, was defined through literature review and expert survey was conducted to collect data. As a result of ANP analysis, 'Securing service reliability' was analyzed as the most important factor and followed by 'Preparing the range of legal liability', 'Preventing personal information leakage' and 'Preventing confidential information data leakage.' The priority of result indicates that service provider needs to focus on to make the secured service environment. This study has significance on analyzing the priority of business challenges in the service provider perspective. This study will provide useful guidelines to for establishing strategies in cloud computing market.

  • There are three types of survey research system, telephone surveys, online surveys, interviews and so on. Currently most of the survey data have been verified by hand-collecting state in korea. Semi-automated research systems, some companies are using imported from abroad. This paper is the study on the design and implementation of linked research system for global standardization. The system is optimized through customizing for local conditions, as well as professionals for telephone surveys, online surveys, interviews even a normal user can enter the questionnaire easily and quickly. The result data is passed to the customer quickly and accurately. In particular, this system is based on automatic data input and collected provides best efficient analysis and statistics. Office programs and advanced statistical program SPSS is compatible with the maximum benefits for proposed system. Additionally, to achieve the import substitution effect through localization and to propose a global standard the proposed system is designed and implemented.

  • The utilization and value of drones are increasing throughout society. However, there was a lack of government support and investment such as lack of technology of domestic drone companies, regulation of loans and lack of technology evaluation items. Therefore, this paper conducts statistical analysis to derive what drone capacity should be strengthened for the drone industry activation in Daegu. As a result, the demand satisfaction(price, quality, service) of drones leads to revitalization of drone industry when the physical, social, and policy factors among drones are strengthened. In conclusion, drone capacity to be strengthened in order to revitalize the drone industry in Korea is based on physical factors(drone demand, development, number of registrations, number of businesses and workers), social factors(national level public relations, establishment of public education institutes, correct understanding of drone occupation, preception), policy factors(privacy measures, government funding, legislation and system easing). As for the three factors, the government, industry, and drone operators are expected to have a bright future when the trinity is improved and complemented.

  • As Indonesia determines to increase its marine fishery production, the development of tradi-tional boatyards has to be included in the agenda as it will give the local fishing communities a better chance to compete with large capital intensive fishing companies. It will also spread job opportunities evenly throughout the country instead of concentration fishing vessel con- struction in a few large shipyards located primarily on the highly populated island of Java. However development every single boatyard in indonesia would not only be prohibitively ex-pensive, but it would also create social tensions as the introduced technology would not be immediately accepted by the rural societies whose own traditions are still culturally signif-icant. Both these problems can be reduced by developing a collaborative scheme between traditional boatyards and a larger shipyard. The shipyard, with modern facilities, can develop work packages containing knock down components which are then assembled in the tradi-tional boatyards. The work packages are planned and designed so that every component can be assembled with relatively simple tools. Radical changes can be avoided as new techniques can be introduced gradually, responding to the boatyard\\`s own requirements and aspirations. While this manufacturing procedure is conceptually straightforward its efficient implemen-tation is in practice complicated by the fact that each traditional boatyard has unique char-acteristics in terms of labour resources, technological capability, and transportation links.   • Recently, manufacturing companies are introducing many intelligent production processes that apply IIoT/ICT to improve competitiveness, and a system that maintains availability, improves productivity, and optimizes management costs is needed as a preventive measure using environmental data generated from air ejectors. Therefore, in this study, a dedicated control board was developed and LoRa communication module was applied to remotely control it to collect and manage information about compressors from cloud servers and to ensure that all operators and administrators utilize common data in real time. This dramatically reduced M/S steps, increased system operational availability, and reduced local server operational burden. It dramatically reduced maintenance latency by sharing system failure conditions and dramatically improved cost and space problems by providing real-time status detection through wired and mobile utilization by maintenance personnel.

  • The present study examines the overall manufacturing status of local wetsuit makers, problems in the manufacturing process, and future research tasks. The study revealed that most manufacturers use neoprene fabric of varying thickness, depending on the body part. Normally, 3 mm-thick fabric is utilized for high-activity body parts and 5 mm-thick fabric is used for high-activity areas requiring thermal insulation. In terms of the manufacturing method, the tools and manufacturing processes used by companies were found to be similar. However, because of the nature of wetsuits requiring a more complicated manufacturing method than that of general clothing, there were some differences in the manufacturing method processes from company to company, such as bonding and ease treatments. According to wetsuit manufacturers, they make incisions in consideration of the body's curvature and the overall shape and design of the wetsuit when developing patterns. For example, most answered that they preform the wrist and ankle parts, where the body's curvature is obvious. On the question regarding the "difficult manufacturing process", the most frequent response was the "bonding" process. Most manufacturers were found to focus on designs that can improve mobility and clothing fit, and commonly experienced low-order quantity as an operational difficulty. As for the question on the wetsuit-related technology needed in the future, the "development of various designs" was the most frequent answer, followed by the "development of lightweight and diverse materials".

  • The purpose of this study is to examine whether or not types of participation in the senior employment that greatly affect the level of life satisfaction is related to depression and to verify the relationship between life satisfaction and depression by using the correlation analysis. The findings of this study suggested that the effect of on the participation in the senior employment against the depression was positive(+) and the depression had a correlationship with life satisfaction. Therefore, the higher the number of participation in the senior employment for the public sector was, the lower the satisfaction of life, and the more time of participating in the senior employment for the private sector was, the higher the satisfaction of life. Based on the results of this study, in order to increase the satisfaction of senior life, the government, the local autonomous entity, and other companies should work together so that they can make a reasonable plan to create the employment of the private sector for jobs of the elderly.
