고속 광선 추적법을 위한 멀티프로세서에서의 부하분산방식 (Load Distribution Strategies for High Speed Ray-Tracing on Multiprocessors)

  • Ray-tracing algorithm can synthesize photo-realistic image, but its computational cost is high. Fast image synthesis based on ray-tracing is one of the most important topics in computer graphics. There are two methods for high speed ray-tracing. First this paper discusses various load distribution and scheduling of multiprocessor for high sped ray-tracing. Then this paper proposes load distribution strategies based on them, implements and evaluates it on multiprocessor. The experiment results show that the proposed method can solve the unbalanced load problem of dynamic load distribution, and scan line method and dot method among a kind of static load distribution strategies disperse the load efficiently.

  • Through machine learning-based load prediction, it is possible to prevent excessive power generation or unnecessary economic investment by estimating the appropriate amount of facility investment in consideration of the load that will increase in the future or providing basic data for policy establishment to distribute the maximum load. However, in order to secure the reliability of the developed load prediction model in the field, the performance comparison verification between the distribution line load prediction models must be preceded, but a comparative performance verification system between the distribution line load prediction models has not yet been established. As a result, it is not possible to accurately determine the performance excellence of the load prediction model because it is not possible to easily determine the likelihood between the load prediction models. In this paper, we developed a reliability verification system for load prediction models including a method of comparing and verifying the performance reliability between machine learning-based load prediction models that were not previously considered, verification process, and verification result visualization methods. Through the developed load prediction model reliability verification system, the objectivity of the load prediction model performance verification can be improved, and the field application utilization of an excellent load prediction model can be increased.

현장타설말뚝의 잔류응력 분포에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Distribution of Residual Stress for Drilled Shaft)

  • 말뚝을 설계함에 있어 극한지지력을 산정하는 것만으로는 말뚝의 장기 거동에 있어서의 하중분포를 고려할 수 없으므로 재하시험시 변형률계나 응력계를 사용하여 말뚝의 하중 재하에 따른 주면저항(the shaft resistance)의 분포를 측정하고 있다. 그러나 대부분의 재하시험시 하중이 '0'일 때를 'zero time'으로 하여 계측기의 값을 읽는 'zero reading'을 가정함으로써 현장타설말뚝이나 항타말뚝의 시공시 발생된 잔류응력(the residual stress 또는 the residual load)을 무시하고 있다. 이러한 'zero reading'의 가정은 말뚝 시공시 발생하는 말뚝 하방향으로의 부주면마찰력인 잔류응력을 고려하지 않으므로 실제 말뚝주면의 하중분포와는 다른 결과를 보이게 된다. 본 연구에서는 현장에 시험시공된 현장타설말뚝에 대하여 정재하시험을 수행하였고, 말뚝 주면의 하중분포 측정시 변형률계를 사용하여 콘크리트 타설 직후부터 계측을 실시함으로써 말뚝 시공에 따른 잔류응력을 측정하였다. 그 결과, 잔류응력이 고려된 경우는 초기에 부의 응력상태를 보이나 하중이 재하됨에 따라 부주면마찰력이 극복되면서 양의 주면마찰력으로 전환됨을 알 수 있었으나, 'zero reading'의 경우는 양의 주면마찰력 만을 보였다.

PSC 거더교의 하중횡분배에 관한 연구 (Lateral Load Distribution for Prestressed Concrete Girder Bridge)

  • The purpose of this study is to examine the accuracy of the code provisions on lateral load distribution factors of prestressed concrete girder bridges. Most designers in Korea use the lever method or lateral load distribution formula in the existing design codes. However, the methods do not account for the effect of bridge skew or direction of diaphragm. Therefore, this study analysed the prestressed concrete girder bridge with grillage model for various girder spacings, directions of diaphragms, span lengths, and skews, and compared the results with those of existing design code. It has been found that lateral load distribution factors were proportional to the girder spacing while they were not significantly affected by the change of span length, direction of diaphragm, and skew. For bending moments, lateral load distribution factors from the grillage analysis were 60%~68% of those from Korean bridge design code. Therefore, the code provisions result in very conservative design. For support reactions, however, lateral load distribution factors from the grillage analysis were slightly greater than those from Korean bridge design code. Therefore, the capacity of bearings of the bridge with a large skew should be determined by grillage analysis.

  • 본 논문에서는 사고나 계획정전 등으로 인한 건전 정전구간에 신속하게 전원을 공급하는 방안을 제시하였다. 제시한 부하복구방안은 연계개폐기로부터 공급피더 방향으로 계통을 역방향으로 탐색하고 탐색시 저장된 경로와의 조합을 이용하여 구해짐으로써 계통의 탐색공간이 대폭 줄어들게 되어 신속한 복구방안의 제시가 가능하다. 또한 공급 여유량을 미리 확보하는 2단계의 부하복구, 모든 구간에 대한 복구가 불가능한 경우 부하를 차단하는 방안 등이 포함되어 있으므로 광역정전이나 다중사고 및 중요수용가를 고려한 부하복구, 배전자동화시스템과 연계된 부하 복구에도 이용할 수 있다.

웹 클러스터 시스템의 효율적인 동적 작업분배 (An Efficient Dynamic Load Distribution for the Web Cluster Systems)

  • 전형적인 웹 클러스터 시스템은 여러 대의 실제서버와 클라이언트에 작업을 분배하는 가상서버로 구성된다. 본 논문에서는 고 가용성 웹 클러스터를 구성하기 위한 부하예측방식을 사용한 동적 작업 분배 방식을 제안하였다. 가상서버는 적절한 주기로 상태요청 메시지를 실제서버에 전송하여 부하 상태를 알아낸다. 하지만 작업분배 과정에서 실제의 부하상태의 변화를 정확히 알 수 없으므로 클라이언트의 요청에 대하여 실제서버의 부하상태를 예측하여 최소 부하상태 인 서버에 작업을 할당한다. 제안된 작업 분배방식은 실제서버의 부분적 고장과 무관하게 동작하며 부분적인 고장이 발생하여도 전체 시스템에 영향을 주지 않고 계속적인 서비스를 제공한다. 또한 다양한 성능평가를 수행하여 실제서버 확장에 따른 성능확장능력과 작업처리능력이 향상되었음을 보였다.

3상 4선식 저압 배전선로에서 선형 및 비선형 부하의 사용시 전압 불평형률 비교 분석 (Comparative Analysis of Voltage Unbalance Factor on the use of Linear and Non-linear loads in Three-phase Four-wire Low Voltage Distribution Line)

  • In the three-phase four-wire low-voltage power distribution equipment, single-phase and three-phase load have been used mainly mixed. Also linear and nonlinear loads have been used together in the same conditions. In a three-phase four-wire distribution line, the current distribution of three-phase linear load is almost constant in each phase during driving or stopping, but the single-phase load is different from each other for each phase in accordance with the operation and stop. So that the voltage unbalance is caused by the current difference of each phase. In the three-phase four-wire distribution system, non-linear load is used with linear load. The presence of single-phase nonlinear loads can produce an increase in harmonic currents in three-phase and neutral line. It can also cause voltage unbalance. In the present study, we analyzed for the voltage unbalance fluctuations by the operation pattern of the single and three-phase linear and non-linear load in three-phase four-wire low voltage distribution system.

  • This paper presents the ability and the application of software packages for distribution planning which are DISPLAN(Distribution Planning System) and DLPLAN(Distribution Line Planning System) developed in KEPCO. After calculating size and position of maximum load by administration section for distribution, it forecasts the demand of distribution load considering growth location, increment, new load plan, etc of load by annual. Also it calculates distribution loss, voltage drop using modeled distribution line by you, and support for establishment and enlargement plan of substation and distribution line, decision of most optimal path. And it presents the abstract of used algorithm to develop this system.

수용가 전력 소비 패턴을 고려한 배전용 변압기 과부하 판정기준 (Overload Criteria of Distribution Transformers Considering the Electric Consumption Patterns of Customers)

  • In the paper, we summarize the result of the experimental research for the overload criteria of domestic distribution transformers considering the electric consumption patterns of customers. For the basic characteristic data of distribution transformer overload, the actual experiments are accomplished. The field data of loads are surveyed from sample transformers for analyzing the consumption pattern of customer load. The load data acquisition devices are equipped, and the algorithm of load pattern classification is applied. In addition to this efforts, various load pattern data. in past are gathered. Then the representative load pattern of each customer type in domestic is extracted. The final results of overload criterions are presented as tabular form through the results of experiments and survey are combined. The field test of the experiment results is peformed using the special manufactured transformers, which can measure both the load and top-oil temperature of transformer. Through this, we verify that the results of field test are similar to the laboratory one and the Proposed overload criteria can be effectively applied to the real system.

저낙차용 수차의 동력전달 스프로켓 휠 이의 하중분포 해석 (Load distribution analysis of a sprocket wheel tooth for a low head hydro-turbine power transmission system)

  • Chain drive power transmission system was developed for a low head hydro-turbine which generates power by energy transformation on the turbine blades attached to chains. Also, experimental and theoretical analysis for the sprocket wheel tooth load distribution were performed. The tooth load was measured by the specially designed load sensor. It was found that the tooth load distribution for the steady state operation was in good accordance with the quasi-static state results showing the peak load at the final meshing tooth. The trend of the experimental results agreed with the theoretical results based on the spring model analysis and difference in the magnitude of the maximum tooth load was considered to be the effect of the variable spring constant due to the moving contact point between the roller and sprocket wheel tooth.
