  • Acute subdural hematoma is usually a neurological emergency that requires hematoma evacuation or close observation. However, spontaneous resolutions of an acute subdural hematoma without surgical interventions have been reported rarely. We report on a case who showed rapid resolution of an acute subdural hematoma with neurological improvement and review the relevant literatures.

  • The purpose of this paper is to review the major issues of between electronic trade and Ubiquitous computing. The rapidly developed environment by ubiquitous computing make the paradigm form e-trade to u-trade. This Article suggests an a-trade performance framework based on both field and literatures surveys. We propose some research subjects as well as practical implications for improving the performance of global c-trade under ubiquitous.

  • Burkitt lymphoma, which was described by Dennis Burkitt in 1958, is characterized as a diffuse undifferentiated lymphoma. It afflicts children of the 1st or 2nd decades, and usually presents as a jaw or abdominal tumor. The author experienced a case of Burkitt lymphoma in a 30-year-old female, whose right mandible and ascending colon were afflicted, and discussed the clinical, radiological, and histopathological features with brief review of literatures.

  • The development of a general appreciation for the central role of angiogenesis in cancer growth and metastasis and other disease status has led to a wide range of new therapeutic strategies. This paper reviews the domestic and international trends through technology, marketing and patent information analysis dealing with anti-angiogenic agents. This analytical research has led to the identification of new targets associated with angiogenesis, leading to the development of an extensive number of preclinical screening of antiangiogenetic agents.

  • We point out: to make Hermtian matrices A and B satisfy Styan matrix inequality, the condition "positive definite property" demanded in the present literatures is not necessary. Furthermore, on the premise of abandoning positive definite property, we derive Styan matrix inequality of Hadamard product for inverse Hermitian matrices and the sufficient and necessary conditions that the equation holds in our paper.

  • The authors have reviewed many mathematical thermal mode lings of bipropellant propulsion system in literatures to gather basic data for developing a computer program which analyses the performance of bipropellant propulsion system. In this paper COMS and its propulsion system is briefly introduced for understanding. The set of first order nonlinear differential equations is reviewed and considered as candidate equations for the program development.

  • The capacity expansion problem has been defined. Existing literatures on capacity expansion problems have been reviewed and unified under a structure of problem domain. The problem domain has been defined by three relavent coordinates; function or objective of the project, consideration of resource allocation, and consideration of project sequencing. Long range planning is of vital importance in setting up ultimately efficient capital investment plans to meet immediate demand increase. Simplified expansion sequencing example problems have been introduced and solved to help understanding of a solution scheme.

  • This paper deals with how system dynamics can be used as a methodology for policy critics. First of all, I discuess conditions that is required as a methodoogy of policy critics. A methodology for policy critics should be ease to be uderstood by lay people. It can be produced within limited time and have high relevancy to the policy reality. By reviewing some examples and literatures, I propose that system dynamics can meet these requirements and thus can be a promising tool for policy critics.

  • Sinusitis is a common medical problem in children. The prevalence of penicillin-resistant S. pneumoniae infection has been increased during the last decade. The medical management is based on the choice of antimicrobial agents. This article reviews current literatures on the management of acute bacterial sinusitis and chronic sinusitis, with an emphasis on penicillin-resistant S. pneumoniae infection. This article also explores the potential pathophysiologic mechanisms of chronic sinusitis.

  • A tracheoesophageal fistula following blunt chest trauma is rare, with only slightly more than 40 cases having been reported since 1936. With the increased incidence of blunt chest trauma from traffic accidents, it may be anticipated that this complication will be seen more frequently in the future. This report describes successfully managed two cases with such lesion. The pathophysiology and management of such lesion are discussed with a review of the literatures.
