저온특성을 갖는 이온전도성 고분자의 합성 연구 : I. 비정형 PEO 공중합체의 합성 및 분석 (Synthesis of Ion Conducting Polymer Having Low Temperature Characteristics : I. Synthesis and Characterization of Amorphous PEO Copolymer)

  • 분자량이 200 또는 400인 poly(ethylene glycol) (PEG 200, PEG 400)을 알칼리 존재하에서 다양한 linking agent (CH$_2$C1$_2$, CH$_2$Br$_2$, CH$_2$I$_2$, Br(CH$_2$)$_3$Br)와 반응시켜 oxyalkylene-linked poly(oxyethylene) 공중합체를 합성하였다. 얻어진 공중합체의 분자량은 alkali/CH$_2$C1$_2$/PEG의 당량비를 달리하여 조절하였으며 PEG 200을 사용하였을 경우 약 500~8500, 그리고 PEG 400을 사용하였을 경우 약 1000~2000정도이었다. 말단의 -OH기 농도 적정에 의한 분자량과 GPC에 의해 얻어진 분자량은 서로 거의 일치하였다. PEG 400으로부터 얻어진 공중합체는 유리전이온도가 약 -75$^{\circ}C$정도였고, 용융온도가 1$0^{\circ}C$정도였으며 결정화도가 0~25% 정도이었다. 또한 PEG 200을 이용하여 합성된 공중합체의 경우는 분자량이 2500이하에서는 완전한 비정형 물질임을 알 수 있었다.

  • 본 논문에서는 음성 입력으로 받아들인 멜로디를 MIDI 데이타로 변환하는 필터의 설계 방법과 분산 멀티미디어 환경에서 동작하는 입출력 서버 시스템인 MuX 환경에 적용하는 방법에 관해 기술한다. MuX는 다양한 입출력 디바이스와의 인터페이스를 위해 장치 독립적인 DLM(Dynamic Linking Module)을 사용하는데, 현재 MuX 시스템의 입출력 디바이스 인터페이스로 사용되는 웨이브 형식의 오디오 DLM과 MIDI(Musical Instrument Digital Interface) DLM의 기능을 보강하기 위해서 사람의 음성을 MIDI 데이타로 변환해주는 필터를 설계하고 구현하였다. MIDI 데이타의 입력 방식이 파일이나 MIDI 악기 외에도 사람의 음성 데이타로도 가능하므로 악기 연구에 익숙하지 않은 사람들도 MIDI 데이타를 입력할 수 있고, 미디어의 표현력이 증가되어 다양한 응용에 활용될 수 있다.

Application of Edible Insects as Novel Protein Sources and Strategies for Improving Their Processing

  • Insects have long been consumed by humans as a supplemental protein source, and interest in entomophagy has rapidly increased in recent years as a potential sustainable resource in the face of environmental challenges and global food shortages. However, food neophobia inhibits the widespread consumption of edible insects, despite their high nutritional and functional value. The own characteristics of edible insect protein such as foaming properties, emulsifying properties, gelling properties and essential amino acid ratio can be improved by drying, defatting, and extraction. Although nutritional value of some protein-enriched bread, pasta, and meat products, especially essential amino acid components was increased, replacement of conventional food with edible insects as a novel food source has been hindered owing to the poor cross-linking properties of edible insect protein. This deterioration in physicochemical properties may further limit the applicability of edible insects as food. Therefore, strategies must be developed to improve the quality of edible insect enriched food with physical, chemical, and biological methods. It was presented that an overview of the recent advancements in these approaches and highlight the challenges and prospects for this field. Applying these strategies to develop insect food in a more familiar form can help to make insect-enriched foods more appealing to consumers, facilitating their widespread consumption as a sustainable and nutritious protein source.

UV 중합에 의한 이성질체 분리막 제조와 특성 (The Preparation of Chiral Separation Membranes by UV Polymerization and its Properties)

  • 본 연구에서는 서로 상반되는 생리 활성을 나타내는 거울상 이성질체를 분리하기 위해 UV 중합법에 의해 이성질체를 인식할 수 있는 분자 인식형 고분자(molecularly imprinted polymers; MIPs) 분리막 제조와 그 분리막을 이용한 이성질체의 분리 선택성에 관한 연구를 수행하였다. 폴리카보네이트(polycarbonate; PC) 막은 기공(pore) 내벽에 작은 spot의 형태로 중합되었고 양성(anodisc; AD) 막은 기공 내벽이 아닌 표면(surface) 부분에 500~700 nm 정도의 필름(film) 형태로 중합되었다. 한편, 제조된 MIPs 분리막들의 L-트립토판(tryptophane; Trp) 이성질체 용액을 이용한 분리 선택도 비교 결과, 기능성 단량체인 메타아크릴산(methacrylic acid; MAA)에 대하여 가교제인 에틸렌 글리콜 디메타아킬레이트(ethylene glycol dimethacrylate; EGDMA) 90% 이상, 분자제인 메탄올(methanol; MeOH)이 30% 이하 첨가되어 필름 형태로 중합된 AD MIPs 분리막이 3.5의 우수한 선택도를 가졌다.

  • 납본시스템 기반의 유통 플랫폼을 설계하였다. 도서관이 출판플랫폼이어야 한다는 기존 논문의 완결작업으로 국립중앙도서관의 납본 시스템과 연계하여 전국의 도서관망을 체계적으로 묶은 전자책 유통 플랫폼이다. 목적은 전자책을 하나의 유통 공간으로 묶어내고 자연스럽게 독자를 규합함으로써 국내 출판사, 저자, 서점 및 다양한 출판/구독 서비스를 수행중인 플랫폼들의 가상 플랫폼으로서의 역할을 수행하기 위함이다. 전제를 전자책의 판매가 아닌 임차 개념이지만 이와 무관하게 플랫폼은 유효하다. 뿐만 아니라 플랫폼을 출판/독서와 연관된 모든 구성원의 이익을 대변하기 위하여 사회적 협동조합의 형식을 취하였다. 납본시스템 기반의 유통 플랫폼은 현실과 타협한 가장 이상적인 비즈니스 모델이다. 개념적 (Conceptually)으로는 출판 콘텐츠 관련 산업의 서비스는 독립적으로 운영되면서 협동공간인 납본시스템으로부터 모든 콘텐츠가 공급되는 모형이며 기술적(Technically)으로는 중앙의 전자책 데이터베이스가 모든 콘텐츠의 흐름을 장악하지만 가상적 (Virtually)으로 출판 콘텐츠 관련 산업이 그 흐름을 제어하는 형식을 취한다.

한국 전통복식 조형에 나타난 프랙탈적 현상 (The Fractal Phenomenon appeared in the Formativeness of Korean Traditional Costume)

  • This study looks into the Korean traditional costume formation and the thoughts of the Korean people that form the foundation of that Korean traditional costume formation. And the goal of this study is in linking the thoughts and formative characteristics reflected in the Korean traditional costume formation to the fractal geometry, in an attempt to reveal correlation between Korean traditional costume formation which have existed for thousands of years to contemporary science of the West. The fractal theory that appeared as the new paradigm of contemporary science displayed similarities with the traditional ideologies of Korea, and the fact that formation principles of fractal appear in the formation of Korean costume, formed based on the Korean ideologies, show magnanimous capacity of the traditional Korean culture. When we look at the concept of fractal, the word fractal refers to the structure in which the shape repeats, where small structure is similar to the whole structure in form in endlessly repeating structure. In other words, 'fractal' means a structure that geometrically untangles the concept of 'self-similarity' which possesses the same shape in parts and in whole, and its major characteristics include 'self-similarity', 'circularity' and 'repeatability'. Korean costumes were formed based on the Han-thoughts, with a structure that possesses parts within the whole and the whole within parts, in accordance with the self-similarity theory of 'fractal'. This study compared studied fractal phenomenon which appear in formation characteristics of Korean traditional costume, which were formed based on the Korean traditional ideology, in other words, Korean costume formation and formation principles of fractal geometry were compared studied.

Inflammation, Oxidative Stress and L-Fucose as Indispensable Participants in Schistosomiasis-Associated Colonic Dysplasia

  • Background: Schistosomiasis is a parasitic disease causing chronic ill health in humans with a serious consequences for socio-economic development in tropical and subtropical regions. There is also evidence linking Schistosoma mansoni to colonic carcinoma occurrence. The aim of this study was to evaluate some inflammatory and oxidative stress biomarkers, as well as L-fucose as linkers between intestinal schistosomiasis and colonic dysplasia development in mice. Materials and Methods: This study was conducted upon 80 mice that were divided the control group (10 non infected mice) and infected group which was subdivided into 7 sub-groups (10 mice each) according to the time of sacrifaction in the post infection (p.i.) period, 10 mice being sacrificed every two weeks from 6 weeks p.i. to 18 weeks p.i. Tumor necrosis factor alpha (TNF-${\alpha}$), inducible nitric oxide synthase (iNOS), and pentraxin 3 (PTX3) levels were estimated by immunoassay. The L-fucose level, and thioredoxin reductase (TrxR) and lactate dehydrogenase (LDH) activities were also evaluated in colonic tissue. Results: The current study revealed statistically significant elevation in the studied biochemical markers especially at 16 and 18 weeks p.i. The results were confirmed by histopathological examination that revealed atypical architectural and cytological changes in the form of epithelial surface serration and nuclear hyper-chromatizia at 14, 16 and 18 weeks p.i. Conclusions: inflammation, oxidative stress and L-fucose together may form an important link between Schistosomal mansoni infection and colonic dysplasia and they can be new tools for prediction of colonic dysplasia development in experimental schistosomiasis.

  • 품질 및 정보화경영체제의 통합형태 내지 통합수준이 이 시스템의 통합효과에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 통합 목표와 통합효과를 통합수준 내지 추진과정의 요인별로 점검하고, 통합 형태를 그 구조적 특성에 따라 분류하여 시스템 통합의 효율성과 효과성에 이들 통합형태가 어떠한 영향을 미치는지에 대하여 연구하여 양 시스템을 도입 운영하는 조직의 경영성과제고를 위한 시스템 통합 방안을 제시함에 본 연구의 목적이 있다. 연구결과 두 경영시스템의 통합에 고려하게 되는 통합형태와 각 통합형태별로 도달하고 있는 통합수준 그리고 통합추진단계에 따라 궁극적으로 기대하는 통합효과가 대체적으로 유의한 차이를 보여주는 것으로 나타났다. 그러므로 앞으로 IMS와 QMS의 통합을 계획하거나 통합과정 중에 있는 기업은 이론적 고찰과 현장조사에서 입증된 사실을 감안하여 규격중심의 통합보다는 프로세스중심의 통합형태를 또한 완벽한 통합수준의 구축에 따른 유연성과 비용효율성의 부정적 측면을 참작하여 부족한 통합수준 가운데서 자사의 실정에 적합한 통합수준을 선정하여야 할 것이다.

A Study on the Linkage Model Between Institutions Related to Lifelong Education for People with Developmental Disabilities Based on the K-PACE Center of Daegu University: A Perspective on the Whole Life Cycle for People with Developmental Disabilities

  • The purpose of this study was to form a linked model in which local institutions related to lifelong education for the disabled can cooperate based on the Daegu University K-PACE Center. The contents of the study started with recognizing the problem that the adult-centered lifelong education support system does not effectively cope with these factors, even though the independent life of people with developmental disabilities is a major factor determining the quality of life. Regarding this problem recognition, this study primarily emphasized the view that educational support for independent life of people with developmental disabilities should establish the context of the school foundation. The context of the school foundation is established for lifelong education centered on adulthood for people with developmental disabilities because the curriculum is embodied through the standards of subject matter education. In this regard, the Daegu University K-PACE Center, which established a curriculum that supports the independent life of people with developmental disabilities in terms of linking higher and lifelong education, actually reflects the context of the school foundation. As a result, this study prepared a strategy that could be considered as a transition to advance the curriculum organized by the Daegu University K-PACE Center, and the strategy was secondarily reflected as a procedure that could be linked to local lifelong education-related institutions for the disabled. Finally, this study presented a form of transition in which people with developmental disabilities can access the curriculum of lifelong education through the connection of local lifelong education-related institutions for the disabled, centering on the entire life of adulthood.

BIM 기반 비정형 건축물 패널화 모델 생성 방법에 관한 연구 (BIM-Based Generation of Free-form Building Panelization Model)

  • With the development of 3D-based CAD (Computer Aided Design), attempts at freeform building design have expanded to small and medium-sized buildings in Korea. However, a standardized system for continuous utilization of shape data and BIM conversion process implemented with 3D-based NURBS is still immature. Without accurate review and management throughout the Freeform building project, interference between members occurs and the cost of the project increases. This is very detrimental to the project. To solve this problem, we proposed a continuous utilization process of 3D shape information based on BIM parameters. Our process includes algorithms such as Auto Split, Panel Optimization, Excel extraction based on shape information, BIM modeling through Adaptive Component, and BIM model utilization method using ID Code. The optimal cutting reference point was calculated and the optimal material specification was derived using the Panel Optimization algorithm. With the Adaptive Component design methodology, a BIM model conforming to the standard cross-section details and specifications was uniformly established. The automatic BIM conversion algorithm of shape data through Excel extraction created a BIM model without omission of data based on the optimized panel cutting reference point and cutting line. Finally, we analyzed how to use the BIM model built for automatic conversion. As a result of the analysis, in addition to the BIM utilization plan in the general construction stage such as visualization, interference review, quantity calculation, and construction simulation, an individual management plan for the unit panel was derived through ID data input. This study suggested an improvement process by linking the existing research on atypical panel optimization and the study of parameter-based BIM information management method. And it showed that it can solve the problems of existing Freeform building project.
