CCD를 이용한 선형예측기 (Linear Predictor Using Charge-Coupled Devices)

  • DPCM의 선형예측기를 비감광성 원소(dummy pixel)를 가지고 있는 선형 감광성 전하결합소자(CCD)를 광전자 시스템으로 구현하는 방법을 제시하였다. 종래의 시스템과 마찬가지로 이 시스템은 입력광원, 공간여파기(마스크), 선형감광성 CCD의 3부분으로 구성되었다. 비감광성 원소에 의한 시간지연을 고려하여 종래의 마스크를 변형하여 각 예측계수를 하나 이상의 마스크 원소에 분산시킨, 새로운 방식의 분산형 마스크를 제시하고 이 마스크를 사용할 때의 특성을 이론적으로 분석하였으며 실험으로 확인하였다.

  • This paper deals with the comparison and dynamic behavior of a moving-coil linear oscillatory actuator (MCLOA) with/without a mechanical spring. On the basis of a dynamic simulation model, the dynamic characteristics such as a current and a stroke of the MCLOA without the spring are predicted for various values of frequency. And then, dynamic test results are given to confirm the dynamic simulations. Finally, this paper describes the influence of the spring on the dynamic behavior of the MCLOA from the dynamic experiments of the MCLOA with/without the spring.

  • Contact-type linear image sensors have been fabricated by means of RF glow discharge decomposition method of silane and hydrogen mixtures. The dependences of the electrical and optical properties of these sensor on thickness, RF power, substrate temperature and ambient gas pressure have been investigated. the ITO/i-a-Si:H/Al structure film shows photosensitivity of 0.85 and photocurrent to dark current ratio ($I_{ph}/I_{d}$) of 150 at 5V bias voltage under 200${\mu}W/cm^[2}$ red light intensity. Under 200${\mu}W/cm^[2}$ green light intensity, the ratio is 100. In order to investigate photocarrier transport mechanism and to obtain ${\mu}{\gamma}$ product we have measured the I-V characteristics of these sensors favricated with several different deposition parameters under various light sources. The linear inage sensor for document reading has been operated under reverse bias condition with green light source, resulting in ${\mu}{\gamma}$ product of about 1.5$[\times}10^{-9}cm^{2}$/V.

6 MV 광자선조사면내 투과성필터에 의한 조직선량 (Scatter Dose in soft tissue using the partial attenuation filter for 6 MV X-ray of linear accelerator)

  • Measured and calculated the TMR and SMR factors from percent depth dose underpartial attenuators which cover the whole part of the radiation beam with variousfilter thickness from 0 to 50 mm. This study was performed for x-ray beams generated with a 6 MV linear acceleratorat source to surface distance of 100cm in a water phantom for Lipowitz metal. TMR(0,d,t) was derived from non-linear polynomial regression with field sizedifferencies and a given filter thickness. In this experiments, the TMR(0,10,50) of 50mm of filter thickness was showed13.6 % higher than that of open field and SMR(5,10,50) was 38.5% smaller than thatof open field in same depth.

  • In this paper we consider a heat flow in an inhomogeneous. body without internal source. There exists special initial and boundary conditions in this system and we intend to find a convenient coefficient of heat conduction for this body so that body cool off as much as possible after definite time. We consider this problem in a general form as an optimal control problem which coefficient of heat conduction is optimal function. Then we replace this problem by another in which we seek to minimize a linear form over a subset of the product of two measures space defined by linear equalities. Then we construct an approximately optimal control.

  • The ever increasing density of adjustable speed drives(ASD) device with non-linear operating characteristics has been to put tremendous harmonic stress on end user's electrical application. All ASD controllers which employ solid state power devices cause harmonic currents in the source side line. This paper describes harmonic problems for use of ASD. In order to investigate the effect of harmonics caused by using of nonlinear load at the low voltage system, we fixed up simple load model and measured the voltage and current waveforms. Measurement results show that additional operation of linear load at the parallel bus with nonlinear load such as ASD is helpful to the reduction of harmonic influence.

부이 내장형 선형발전기 및 그 응용 연구 (Study on Electrical Linear Generator Containing Heaving Buoy and Its Applications)

  • This paper describes an electrical linear generator (IntELG) based on permanent magnets, containing heaving buoy, and its applications for the floating wave energy converters riding in parallel waves. The permanent magnets are integrated with the heaving buoy as a component and the integrated component is configured within the cylindrical IntELG to be filled with fluid. Thus, the IntELG can effectively be applied for the power-take-off of the floating wave energy converter riding in parallel waves. Typical applications are exampled with the Pelamis and Anaconda and they are investigated for the diversely redundant power source of nuclear power plant and the cooperation with submerged tunnel(s).

  • The theoretical performance of MMSE linear microdiversity combining in Rayleigh fading, additive interference channels has already been derived exactly in the literature. In the macrodiversity case the fundamental difference is that any given source may well have different average received powers at the different antennas. This makes an exact analysis more difficult and hence for the macrodiversity case we derive a bound on the mean BER and a semi-analytic upper bound on outage probabilities. Hence we provide bounds on the performance of MMSE linear microdiversity combining in Rayleigh fading with additive noise and any number of interferers with arbitrary powers.

Simplified SVPWM that Integrates Overmodulation and Neutral Point Potential Control

  • A simplified and effective space vector pulse-width modulation (SVPWM) algorithm with two and three levels for three-phase voltage-source converters is proposed in this study. The proposed SVPWM algorithm only uses several linear calculations on three-phase modulated voltages without any complicated trigonometric calculations adopted by conventional SVPWM. This simplified SVPWM also avoids choosing the vector sector required by conventional SVPWM. A two-level overmodulation scheme is integrated into the proposed two-level SVPMW to generate the output voltage that increases from a linear region to a six-step state with a smoothly linear transition characteristic and a simple overmodulation process without a lookup table and complicated nonlinear functions. The three-level SVPWM with a proportional-integral controller effectively balances the neutral point potential of the neutral point clamped converter. Results from the simulation in MATLAB/Simulink and the experiment based on a digital signal processor are provided to clearly demonstrate the validity and effectiveness of the proposed strategies.

A Study on the Reduction of Cogging Force of Stationary Discontinuous Armature Linear Synchronous Motor Using Auxiliary Teeth

  • The stationary discontinuous armatures that are used in permanent magnet linear synchronous motors (PM-LSMs) have been proposed as a driving source for transportation systems. However, the stationary discontinuous armature PM-LSM contains the outlet edges which always exist as a result of the discontinuous arrangement of the armature. For this reason, the high alteration of the outlet edge cogging force produced between the armature's core and the mover's permanent magnet when a mover passes the boundary between the armature's installation part and non-installation part has been indicated as a problem. Therefore, we have examined the outlet edge cogging force by installing the auxiliary teeth at the armature's outlet edge in order to minimize the outlet edge cogging force generated when the armature is arranged discontinuously. Moreover, we obtained the calculation by analyzing the shape of the auxiliary teeth in which the outlet edge cogging force is minimized the most.
