  • In this paper, The RF system of W-CDMA receiver is designed and the performance is analyzed. The linearity characteristic and the noise characteristic are presented in the performance. The linearity characteristic is analyzed by PN and IIP3. The noise characteristic is analyzed by NF. In addition, sweeping of the nonlinear components parameter affecting the linear performance is tested and the most maximal possible parameter to maintain the linear performance is introduced. The transceiver RF system of W-CDMA and cdma2000 is designed and presented adapting the nonlinear parameter introduced.

  • A LNA(Low Nosise Amplifer) module for the Ka-band satellite transponder has been developed, which is composed of developed two MMIC chips and 50$\Omega$ line. This LNA exhibited noise figure less than 3.12dB, linear gain higher than 32dB from 30.085GHz to 30.885GHz frequency range. Temperature test from $20^{\circ}to$ $60^{\circ}C$ of the LNA Module showed very small noise figure and linear gain variation of 0.2 dB and 0.4dB.

  • In this paper a new dynamic damper driven by DC linear electric motor, is proposed for suppressing wide-band vibration. First, the reason for the incapability of a conventional dynamic damper to suppress wide-band vibration is explained. Then, with its defects taken into consideration, the principle of wide-band vibration control is presented. Finally, experiments ar conducted verifying the control effect of the active dynamic damper for suppressing wide-band vibration.

  • In this paper, computational analysis on the steady-state and transient behaviors of the valve system is discussed. Fluid-structure interaction (FSI) is taken into account using ADINA software. The computational results are experimentally validated.

  • A newly devised linear flexures bearing (KIMM-LFB) for reciprocating machines is disclosed having improved reliability for long lift. KIMM-LFB is an integrated device comprising a axially moving diaphragm with circumferentially arranged arc-shaped flexure blades secured between rim and hub spacers, which turn out to have higher radial stiffness and lower Von-Mises peak stresses than the one with circumferential tangent cantilever flexure blades. • Dynamic behavior of laminated composite plates undergoing moderately large deflection is investigated taking into account the viscoelastic behavior of material properties. Based on von Karman's non-linear deformation theory and Boltzmann's superposition principle, non-linear and hereditary type governing equations are derived. Finite element analysis and the method of multiple scales is applied to examine the effect of large amplitude on the dissipative nature of viscoelastic laminated plates.

  • The non-linear differential equations of motion of a fluid conveying curved pipe are derived by making use of Hamiltonian approach. The extensible dynamics of the pipe is based on the Euler-Bernoulli beam theory. Some significant differences between linear and nonlinear equations and the basic analysis results are discussed. Using eigenfrequency analysis, it can be shown that the natural frequencies are changed with flow velocity.
