마이크로그리드 과도상태 시 전력 수급 균형 전략 (Power Balancing Strategy in the Microgrid During Transient)

  • When problems such as line fault, breakdown of a substation or a generator, etc. arise on the grid, the Microgrid is designed to be separated or isolated from the grid. Most existing DGs(Distributed Generators) in distribution system use rotating machine. However, new DGs such as micro gas turbine, fuel cell, photo voltaic, wind turbine, etc. will be interfaced with the Microgrid through an inverter. So the Microgrid may have very lower inertia than the conventional distribution system. By the way, the rate of change of frequency depends on the inertia of the power system. Moreover, frequency has a strong coupling with active power in power system. Because the frequency of the Microgrid may change rapidly and largely during transient, appropriate and fast control strategy is needed for stable operation of the Microgrid. Therefore, this paper presents a power balancing strategy in Microgrid during transient. Despite of strong power or frequency excursions, power balancing in the Microgrid can be maintained.

  • 셀룰러/랜 기반의 중첩 네트워크는 유선 네트워크에 비해 상대적으로 제한된 대역폭을 가지는 특성으로 인해 효율적인 대역폭 관리에 대한 관심이 증가하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 멀티미디어 중첩 네트워크상에서 트래픽의 이동을 통한 온라인 부하분산 알고리즘을 제안하였다. 이 방법은 각 네트워크간 트래픽 부하의 균형을 통해 지역적으로 발생하는, 과부하 현상을 극복하고 높은 대역폭 효율성을 보장한다. 컴퓨터 시뮬레이션을 통하여 대역폭 관리를 위해 제안된 기존의 타 기법들과의 비교, 분석을 수행하여 제안된 방법이 다양한 네트워크 트래픽 상황에서 우수한 성능을 가지는 것을 확인할 수 있었다.

  • VPN(Virtual Private Network)과 DSL, 케이블과 같은 다이얼업 접속의 조합은 저렴한 비용으로 임대라인 기반의 사설망의 대안이 되고 있다. VPN 장비의 고가용성(High Availability, HA)에 대한 기업의 요구가 증대되고 있다. 본 논문에서 VPN 게이트웨이에서 링크 이중화를 통한 액티브-액티브 방식을 이용해 네트웍 접근성의 고가용성과 네트웍 부하 분산 기법을 제안한다. 네트웍 링크의 고가용성/부하분산은 외부 내트웍 접근을 독립적인 두 개의 라인으로 이중화하는 것으로 달성할 수 있다. 이것은 둘 중 하나의 링크에 문제가 발생하더라도 내부 사용자에게 지속적인 네트웍 접근을 제공할 수 있다. 뿐만 아니라, 네트웍 부하를 두 개의 라인으로 분산시킴으로써 두 배에 가까운 네트웍 대역폭을 제공할 수 있다. 네트웍 링크의 부하 분배를 위해 정적인 알고리즘과 동적인 알고리즘을 제안한다.

여성복 재킷 생산라인의 라인 밸런싱에 관한 연구 - 공정편성 효율을 중심으로 - (A Study on 'Line Balancing' of Women's Jacket Production)

  • This study establishes basic data for operations management by organizing processes and measuring time in the mini line for female jackets to improve productivity, ensure competitiveness, and maintain operator competency and the line process flow balance between apparel manufacturing companies. The results of this study are as follows. Sewing operations are divided into preparation functions, arrangement, partial tasks, and assembly that consist of 84 processes. The results from time measurement indicate that 3238.41seconds (sec) were required to produce a single jacket and that the average time required for operators was 231.32 sec. A control limit was established to increase the reliability of the measured value for net time. After outside values were removed, the operation time was measured to be 3176.35 sec. This accounted for 98.08% of the total operation time, with net time decreasing by 62.06. Skill and effort level coefficients were applied to measure the operator performance, the total real time was calculated to be 3415. The requirement for preparation and arrangement operations were 1233.35 sec, and 2182.22 sec for partial tasks and assembly operations. Process separation and organization were performed after the bottleneck operation was selected to identify the maximum line balance. Consequently, process efficiency of preparation and arrangement operations increased from 79.19% to 93.00%, and the partial tasks and assembly operations increased from 62.36% to 90.93%.

  • Many mid-sized companies in Korean automotive industry have attempted to solve the lack of human power, to control the quality of components, to improve the production rate, and to innovate the manufacturing line. The goals of this study are to analyze the production rate of an automotive component manufacturing line using simulation software, to construct a Flexible Automation Subassembly (FAS) system and to suggest an optimized layout design using FAS line. In this research, the simulation model for manufacturing line was developed and used the realistic data of a medium sized company in Korean automotive industry. To complete this research, a simulation software 'ARENA' was used. This research analyzed the work distribution strategy and cycle time element for production flow and proposed an optimized layout to resolve line balancing problem which would bring the improved production rate.

  • In this paper, we developed a simulation model of a car parts assembly line to improve the system performance such as worker's utilization balancing, productivity. This simulation model has been developed using QUEST, a true 3D discrete event simulation pakcage that is designed for modeling and analysis of manufacturing systems. We have suggested the results obtained to improve the system performances of an existing production line.

분해도 및 작업시간 산정을 통한 균형잡힌 조립공정계획에 관한 연구 (Line Balanced Assembly Sequence Generation Based on a Verification of Disassemblability and Work Time)

  • This paper presents a method of a line balanced assembly sequence generation based on the verification of a disassemblability and a work time. To derive the disassemblability for a part to be disassembled, first we inference collision free assembly directions by extracting separable directions fur the part. And we determine the disassemblability defined by the separability and stability cost. The separability cost represents a facility of the part disassembly operation, and the stability cost which represents a degree of the stability for the base assembly motion. Based upon the results, we propose a new approach of evaluating work time using neural networks. The proposed assembly sequence generation provides an effective means of solving the line balancing problem and gives a design guidance of planning assembly lay-out in flexible manufacturing application. Example study is given to illustrate the concepts and procedure of the proposed schemes.

  • 'Bowl Phenomenon' refers to allocating the work loads to middle stages slightly less than the outer ones in a series production system. Millier and Boling(1966) first discovered that the output rate of a production line were obtained by deliberately unbalancing, like a bowl-shape, under certain circumstances. So far quite a many researches have been studied either theory-oriented or simulation-oriented on this topic. However the papers concerning assemble production line are rather rare possibly due to the system complexity. In this paper, a simulation work on a 6-node assembly line has been conducted with the help of SLAMSYSTEM software. The simulation results have been turned out that 1) the Bowl phenemenon is still valid in the given system, 2) buffer storage between the work stations are critical measure for determining the degree of work-load unbalancing.

  • A printed circuit board auto-insertion line consists of several processes of identical machines and produces several different types of PCBs. Each board must be processed by at most one machine in each process. So, we call it a flexible flow line. The load balancing is the one of the most important issues in the FFL which has many sequential processes. Therefore we have represented the job route selection model to balance the load of inter-process in the PCB auto-insertion line, and validated it by simulation.
