안벽구조물의 확률론적 VE/LCC 분석모델 적용방안 (Application of probabilistic VE/LCC Analysis Models for Quay Wall Structures)

  • 최근 가치공학과 생애주기비용 분석의 중요성이 대두됨에 따라 항만구조물의 VE/LCC(Value Engineering/Life Cyccle Cost) 분석에 대한 연구개발이 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 반면에 항만구조물의 생애주기비용 산정과 가치분석의 실무 적용에 있어 이론적 모델과 표준지침 및 소프트웨어 등이 정립되어있지 않기 때문에 분석자에 따라 일관성과 전문성에 한계를 나타내고 있다. 특히 생애주기비용의 분석에 있어 현행의 확정론적 방법으로는 파괴손실비용의 산정이 어렵기 때문에 퍼지 신뢰성해석에 따라 파기확률을 파괴손실비용에 반영할 수 있는 확률론적 방법의 도입이 반드시 필요한 실정이다 따라서 본 연구에서는 안벽구조물의 설계에 있어 대안별 열화성능 차원의 설계를 수행하도록 유도하기 위하여 퍼지신뢰성 이론에 기초한 확률론적 VE/LCC 분석모델을 제안하였으며, 제안된 분석모델의 신뢰성과 활용성을 향상시키기 위한 측면에서 실제 대상 구조물에 적용하였다. 본 연구에서 제안된 방법론은 향후 다양한 분야의 설계 및 유지관리단계에서의 생애주기 비용과 가치분석의 의사결정에 활용되어질 것으로 사료된다.

교육 시설에서의 히트 펌프 냉난방 시스템 실사용을 통한 경제성 분석 (Economic Analysis of Heat Pump System through Actual Operation)

  • The present study has been conducted economic analysis through actual operation of electric heat pump (EHP) and gas engine driven heat pump (GHP) which are installed at the same building in the university. Cost items, such as initial cost, annual energy cost and maintenance cost of each system are considered to analyze life cycle cost (LCC) and economical efficiencies are compared. The initial cost is considered on the basis of actual cost, and annual energy cost is converted into the cost after measuring electricity and gas consumption a day LCC applied present value method is used to assess economical profit of both of them. Variables used to LCC analysis are electricity cost escalation rate, natural gas cost escalation rate, interest rate, and service lives when each of them are 4%, 2%, 8%, and 20 years. The result shows that EHP (148,257,306 won) is more profitable than GHP (161,239,296 won) by 8.05% (12,981,990 won).

순환 가열 아스팔트의 용도별 기계적성능 평가 및 경제성 분석 연구 (A Study on Mechanical Performance Evaluation and Economic Analysis by Reclaimed Hot Asphalt Pavement)

  • The government is encouraging the notice of obligatory reclaimed asphalt as a result of the economic and social positioning of green growth to reduce the amount of waste resources and to solve natural resource problems by recycling continuously generated waste resources. However, it is necessary to develop application guideline for each application to apply reclaimed asphalt to the site because quality control of the reclaimed asphalt is difficult and the specifications are ambiguous as well. Therefore, in this study, the mix design, quality test, performance test, and finite element analysis about reclaimed Asphalt Pavement were conducted to develop application guideline for reclaimed hot asphalt. The mix design was carried out for the comparative general hot mix asphalt mixture, the reclaimed hot mix asphalt mixture using the additive, and the reclaimed hot mix asphalt mixture without the additive. Indirect tensile strength and tensile strength ratio tests were used to characterize the reclaimed hot mix asphalt mixture. Using the results of dynamic modulus test and FWD test for KPRP analysis and finite element analysis, the performance life was evaluated for general pavement and pavement using recycled aggregate. Finally, the life cycle cost analysis was used to compare and analyze the economics of reclaimed asphalt concrete pavement.

  • Several research institutes including KISTEC and KRRI etc., recently, have studied maintenance activities and performance, in order to determine proper maintenance level and maintenance cost of rail tracks. But it may extremely difficult to make a decision in maintenance matters of concrete track and ballast containing other sub-components. For these reasons, this study investigate variables related to current maintenance, essential maintenance, and preventive maintenance. It is intended to suggest estimation method of proper maintenance cost maximizing rail track performance. It is stated that proposed approach may be very useful to make a decision of proper maintenance level. Typical section of rail track is applied for calculation of life cycle cost according to each maintenance strategy. A proper profile for maintenance is determined minimum life cycle

  • In this study, we have analyzed the cost of korea high-speed rail project. The predicted cost in planning phase and adjustment data to 5th year are collected. Then, predicted cost is compared with adjustment in year/item/system base. We make a project history table for criteria to review project history and research & development activity. We have developed CBS(cost breakdown structure) and allocated adjustment data to them. It is shown that cost prediction related to research St development activity in planning phase is relatively correct.

대도시 혼잡구간의 아스팔트 포장에 대한 경제성 분석 모델 연구 (A Study on the Economical Analysis Model for Asphalt Pavementin Congestion Area of Metropolitan)

  • 본 연구는 대도시 아스팔트 포장에 대한 포장공법에 대한 LCC 분석모델 개발 및 VE 평가에 관한 연구로 대도시 포장의 공용연수 동안에 발생하는 총 생애주기비용을 고려하여, 지역 특성과 교통량 등 포장의 수명에 영향을 주는 인자에 대해 보다 효율적으로 대처할 수 있는 포장공법 선정에 대한 의사 결정을 지원하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 우리나라의 대표적 대도시라고 할 수 있는 서울시의 관련 자료를 토대로 LCC 분석모델을 개발하였고, 관련 실무자의 의견을 반영하여 VE 평가를 실시하였다. LCC 분석모델 개발은 포장공법별로 공통되는 비용항목을 제외한 포장공법 선정에 직접적으로 영향을 주는 비용항목으로 구성하였으며, 이렇게 개발된 LCC 분석모델을 서울시에 현재 공용중인 사례 대상노선을 선정하여 적용해 그 타당성을 검토하였다. 분석에 사용되는 비용항목의 근거자료는 서울시 통계자료와 단가산출 기준자료 등을 이용하여 분석의 신뢰성을 높였다. 개발된 LCC 분석 모델은 대도시 아스팔트 포장에 국한적으로 사용되고 있는 개질 아스팔트와 재생 아스팔트를 일반아스팔트와 비교 분석하여 대도시의 지역 특성과 교통량 등을 고려한 최적 포장공법의 선정을 지원할 수 있을 것이라 판단된다.

학교시설 수선주기 및 수선율 예측에 관한 기초적 연구 (A Preliminary Study on the Prediction of School Facilities Repair Frequency and Rate)

  • This study is to present an engineering solution for the repair frequency and repair rates of a building. The existing data for the repair frequency and repair rates are used to draw the probability distribution for the generalized repair frequency and repair rate in a building. The suggested methodology can be widely used for most buildings to estimate the legal repair frequency and repair rates. Also, the methodology can be applied to resolve the risks on the maintenance costs in LC (Life Cycle) plans or LCC (Life Cycle Cost) analysis. As the future studies, there are the multiple regression analysis including the parameters on incurred costs and the decision methods on efficient repair and replacement.

환경분석기반 한옥 시공 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (Han-ok Construction Simulation based on Environmental Analysis)

  • Han-ok has a long history and cultural traditions. It has green and healthy and culture but high construction costs, thermal insulation performance of residential and vulnerable to fires and have a weakness for maintenance. However, modernized resident housing, Han-ok is required to improve in terms of environmental aspect due to its weakness for insulating and inconvenience for modem era. Also Han-Ok's building is criticized as a huge dependence on subjective building experiences. This is pointed to be the biggest problem, Han-ok has. Traditionally it does not have a scientific and specific manual for construction. In this research, process simulation was adopted to develop Han-Ok's environmental improvements. In terms of LCC (Life Cycle Cost) aspect, however, Han-Ok's environmental characteristics are examined to suggest an appropriate Han-Ok construction method. Also the result of this research would be utilized to base the information database for efficient constructing and its management in new Han-Ok constructing industry.

학교건물의 에너지 성능개선에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Improvement of Energy Performance in School Buildings)

  • The purpose of this study is to improve of energy performance in school buildings. Many building renovations have mainly focused on commercial buildings and houses, but school buildings have no attention in this field although there are many buildings that show degraded energy performance and there are many old fashioned buildings which need renovation. This study was carried out through the survey, field study, energy simulation and life cycle cost analysis. The results of this study can be summarized as follows: In model building, large amount of heat were lost at the building envelope, such as non-insulated skins, window-sills and window-frame joints. According to the simulation result, about 15% of heating energy is saved by the insulating works compared to pre-renovation condition. Also, LCC analysis revealed to be more effective to select a exteria wall insulation such as a dryvit system.

  • Infrastructure is provided to the user through long-term project period and large-scale working expenses. Existing facilities are getting old as time goes by. Accordingly, proper maintenance is required and generally more maintenance cost than initial invested cost is needed during life cycle. Therefore, a specific plan that just increases the value of facilities is required by evaluating performance of facilities and inputting minimum maintenance cost. Value engineering that increases the value of object by systemically analyzing Life Cycle Costs and function is actively promoted at the design phase of construction. These efforts can increase the performance of facilities at the maintenance phase of infrastructure. This study is to search how to evaluate the performance of Roadway by utilizing function analysis, as a core part of VE in the maintenance phase. In order to this a new evaluation criteria were proposed by adding an evaluation items to the existing criteria through the research of old documents, status of roadway maintenance and function analysis of VE. The results of this study may promote the effective performance evaluation to determine a resolution of roadway congestion in future. A succeeding study using the proposed evaluation criteria will be required.
