지역사회건강조사를 이용한 의료급여수급권자와 건강보험가입자의 건강관련 삶의 질 비교 연구 (Difference in Health-related Quality of Life between Medical Aid Beneficiaries and Health Insurance Beneficiaries using the Community Health Survey)

  • 본 연구에 의료급여수급권자와 건강보험가입자의 인구사회학적 특성, 건강행태, 질병이환, 의료이용, 건강 관련 삶의 질 등에 대한 포괄적인 평가를 해 보고자 하였다. 연구 대상은 2013년도 지역사회건강조사 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과 사회경제적 특성, 건강행태, 질병이환, 의료이용 등 다양한 요인들이 건강관련 삶의 질에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 의료급여수급권자가 건강보험가입자보다 사회경제적 특성, 건강행태, 의료이용이 좋지 않아 건강관련 삶의 질이 낮은 것을 확인을 할 수 있었고 사회경제적 특성을 통제하고도 비교 해본 결과에서도 건강행태, 질병이환, 의료이용이 좋지 않아 건강관련 삶의 질이 떨어지는 결과를 보였다. 따라서 의료급여수급권자들의 건강관련 삶의 질을 효과적으로 향상시키기 위해서는 만성질환 관리, 스트레스와 우울감 관리 등의 정신 건강과 일상 활동 능력의 향상이 무엇보다도 중요하며 적당한 음주습관과 규칙적인 운동, 식습관 등 건강 증진 행위를 촉진하는 데 중점을 둔 체계적인 프로그램 개발과 정책을 위해 국가적 관심이 요구 된다.

일부 지역 대학생의 생활 스트레스, 식행동, 식품 선택에 관한 상관성 연구 (Correlations among Life Stress, Dietary Behaviors and Food Choice of College Students)

  • This study was performed to investigate stress levels, dietary behaviors and food choices, and their correlations in college students. General characteristic stress scores, using a stress test, and the dietary behaviors and food choices of subjects under stress were measured in 358 subjects (185 males and 173 female). The mean total stress scores of the male and female students were $67.91{\pm}44.85$ and $85.62{\pm}48.91$, respectively. Female students were more stressed than males in relation to family, value, future, friends, and study related factors. There were gender differences in the food intake and frequency of eating sweet things when under stress. Stress increased the food intake and frequency of eating sweet things in female students. Especially, stress factors, such as value, economic, future, friends and study problems increased the food intake of female students. Female students preferred sweet tasting items; whereas, male students preferred hot tasting items when under stress. These results show the effect of life stresses on the dietary behaviors and food choices of college students. Stress not only increased energy consumption in certain individuals, but also changed their food choices. Therefore, education with regard to nutrition is necessary if college students are to practice good eating habits for the correct management of life stresses.

The Effects of Quality of Life and Occupational Performance on Quality of Sleep in College Students

  • The purpose of this study is investigate the effects of quality of life and occupational performance on quality of sleep in college students. Data had been collected from Sep. 1 to Sep. 30, 2021. The subjects of this study were students majoring in occupational therapy at C College situated in C region. For analysis, 103 copies of questionnaire were used. As study instruments, a structured questionnaire incorporating questions about general characteristics, and measurement scales for quality of life, quality of sleep, and occupational performance evaluation were applied. Subjective sleep quality and sleep latency of study participants had lower scores than other components. According to the analysis on different quality of sleep depending on general characteristics, women had more sleep disturbances as they didn't have any part-time job. In terms of the correlation between quality of sleep and quality of life, physical health and total score (quality of life) had correlations with daytime dysfunction. With regard to influential factors on quality of sleep, rest & sleep as a domain of occupational performance and work affected quality of sleep. Students' quality of sleep will be improved if they keep regular habits of living, have rest appropriately for alleviating their stress, and do their jobs with interest and successfully according to a procedure. It is expected that the results of this study will be helpful to care for the health of would-be experts in charge of national health care.

A Study of the Anthropometric Indices and Eating Habits of Female College Students

  • A study was conducted to investigate the anthropometric indices, fat distribution, eating habits and levels of daily physical activity based on the body mass index (BMI ; kg/㎡) of 180 female college students. This stady was based on survey 2001 using a questionnaire. The results are as follow ; The mean age, height, weight and BMI were 20.41 ${\pm}$ 1.82 years, 161.86 ${\pm}$ 4.51cm, 53.49 ${\pm}$ 7.02kg, and 20.43 ${\pm}$ 2.65kg/㎡, respectively. The group with BMI of under 20 (the lean group) comprised 48.9% : the group with BMI of 20 to 25 (the normal group) comprised 44.4% and the group with BMI of over 25 (the obese group) comprised 6.7% of the subjects. Even though the lean and the normal groups were determined according to BMI. 12.5% of the lean group and 31.3% of the normal group had more than 25% body fat. Of the students, 11.5% of the lean group, 25.0% of the normal group and 58.3% of the obese group had of more than 0.8 waist/Hip Ratio (WHR). The medical problems suffered by the subjects were constipation (24.4%), gastroenteritis (20.6%), anemia(15.0%) and edema(13.3%), which was a result of their eating habits. Out of all the subjects, 27.2% ingested their meals irregularly, 74.4% skipped breakfast, and 92.4% of the lean group, 89.2% of the normal group and 81.8% of the obese group ingested snacks on a daily basis. Their favorite types of snacks were cookies breads and cakes (33.7%), spicy sliced rice cakes pork sausage and boiled fish cakes (18.5%), fruits (15.2%), juices and sodas (13.5%) and hamburgers and pizzas (3.9%). Their consumption of high calorie and processed foods was high, Of the subjects, 38.9% ate out daily. 45.1% had tried weight loss. Those with large upper bodies comprised 11.5%, large intermediate bodies 18.5% and large lower bodies 69.0%. Most of the students were dissatisfied with their body snaps. Of the subjects, 95.1% exercised irregularly. Daily physical activity tended to increase significantly with an increase in BMI : the lean group's average energy consumption was 1509.40㎉ the normal group's was 1792.21㎉ and the obese group's was 2334.63㎉, which were below the recommended value. This study suggests that the maintenance of an ideal weight, the improvement of eating habits and adequate exercise are needed for female college students to improve their health and nutritional status. 여자대학생의 식생활습관, 체형 및 체중조절 태도와 피로자각증상과의 관련성 (Relationship between Dietary Habits, Attitudes toward Weight Control and Subjective Fatigue Symptoms in Women College Students)

  • 본 연구는 여자대학생을 대상으로 식생활 습관, 체형 및 체중조절태도와 피로자각증상과의 관련성을 검토할 목적으로 대전광역시의 6개 대학에 재학하고 있는 1~4학년 여자대학생 508명을 대상으로 2012년 4월 1일부터 5월 31일까지의 기간 동안에 자기기입식조사표(self administered questionnaire)에 의해 설문조사 하였다. 조사내용은 조사대상학생들의 기본적 속성 및 일상생활 상황, 식생활습관, 체형 및 체중조절 태도, 피로자각증상에 관한 항목으로 구성하였다. 연구결과, 피로자각증상에 영향을 미치는 변수로는 한 가지 음식만의 식사. 외식 빈도, 저녁식사의 섭취상황, 인스턴트식품 섭취빈도, 시리얼 및 아이스크림 섭취빈도, 콩류 및 콩 제품류 섭취빈도, 우유 및 유제품류 섭취빈도, 설탕의 과잉섭취에 대한 주의, 식염의 과잉섭취에 대한 주의, 체형의 자기평가, 체중조절의 지향 등의 식생활습관, 체형 및 체중조절 태도에 관련된 여러 변수들이 유의한 변수로 선정되었다. 따라서 건전한 식생활습관을 하기 위한 노력이나 보다 더 객관적인 평가에 의한 체형 및 체중조절의 자기평가가 이루어지도록 노력하는 것이 필요하다고 본다.

비만아동의 비만정도에 따른 생화학적 상태와 식습관 및 식행동에 관한 연구 (The Difference of Biochemical Status , Dietary Habits and Dietary Behaviors according to the Obesity Degree among Obese Children)

  • This study was conducted to find biochemical status, dietary habits and dietary behaviors according to the degree of obesity among obese children, and to provide baseline data for nutrition education. The number of subjects was 64 obese children(Mildly obesed : MI 19, Moderately obese : Mo 30, Severely obese : SI 15) participated in '98 Summer Nutrition Camp'. The results of this study were as follows. 1. Weight and body fat rate was increased according to obesity degree(p<0.05). Total cholesterol and TG also was increased according to obesity degree but it was statistically significant. 2. In dietary habits, it wasn't statistically significant but MI tended to eat fast and to eat the snacks before sleeping. MO tended to skip the breakfast. SI tended to eat more snacks and dinner and they tended to overeat. 3. In cognition of self-weight, most obese children(93.7%) worried about their weight but 73.4% of obese children thought that it was possible for losing weight. There were no difference by the obesity degree. 4. In dietary behaviors, there were no statistically significant difference but MI and SI than MO tended to had worse dietary behaviors. 5. In life styles, SI than the others have tendency to have more regular exercise but they had more indoor activities than outdoor activities. 6. In foods intake frequency, SI than MI and MO ate instant foods more frequently and MI than the others ate hot and salty foods more frequently(p<0.05). With these result, MI and SI than MO tended to have undesirable dietary habits and behaviors. Many obese children worried about the weight but they had positive thought about losing weight. SI tended to do regularly exercise but they had more indoor activities than outdoor activities. Therefore, only with this study, it is difficult to say that there is the clear difference by the obesity degree. Because, in this study, we can have some difference among these groups, we should study more about these difference for effective, systemic and practical nutrition education in the future.

여고생의 의복 흥미도에 관한 조사 연구 (A Study on Clothing Interests of High School Girls)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide some information for the proper education on clothing wearing habits so that the education may be performed in the direction of social needs according to the social change and in the direction of the needs and interest of the high school girl students in their adolescence by being conscious of the influence of clothing on the high school girl students. I have used questionaire as an instrument of measurement. The length of the time of survey is from February 11, 1991 to February 28. The subjects are 544 first grade girl students of general high schools in Cheong-Ju, Choong-Ju, and Je-Cheon. The analysis of the data includes frequency, percentage, average person's Correlation Program, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's test. The conclusion of this study is as follows: The first, it is shown that (l)students's interest in the design and fashion of clothing is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such and the education level of their fathers, the education level of their mothers, monthly income of their homes, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, the subjects which they are interested in, their average scholoary achievements, their religious background, and whether they have boy friends or not, etd. (2)students' interest in purchasing of clothing is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as the education level of their fathers, the education level of their mothers, monthly income of their homes, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, the subjects which they are interested in, their average scholoary achievements, and whether they have boy friends or not, etc. (3)students' interest in the social-psyclological aspect is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as their living area, the clothing habits of their home economics teachers, etc. (4)students' interest in the clothing construction is significantly related to only the clothing habits of their home economics teachersl. (5)students' interest in the clothing management is significantly related to the socio-anthropological and socio-psychological factors such as the education level of their parents, the age of their mothers, their religious background, and their sisters. The second, as for the interest of the high school girl students in clothing, it has been shown that those who wear school uniforms tend to have more interest than those who wear free-choice clothes in such areas as shopping, the construction, and management. As for the other two areas, that is, disign and fashion, and the interest in socio-psychological dependence there has been little meaningful difference between the two groups, while the uniform group has shown more interest than the other group. The third, the interest of hish school students in clothing is considered to be most seriously influenced by their socio-psychological dependence out of five areas of interest. It has been shown that the proportion of the content dealing with clothing wearing life in the high school home economics texbooks in relatively small, especially in such areas as socio-psychological dependence, shopping, management, and design and fashion except in construcion.

청소년들의 건강행태가 비만에 미치는 영향 (The Effect of Adolescents' Health Behavior on Obesity)

  • 본 연구는 청소년 건강행태온라인 조사를 활용하여 청소년의 건강행태가 비만에 미치는 요인을 알아보고자 시행하였다. 연구 대상은 2018년 청소년 건강행태 온라인 조사 자료(제14차)를 이용하여 인터넷을 사용하는 한국 청소년 총 26,338명 중 중학생 12,090명 고등학생 14,248명을 대상으로 하였다. 그 결과 건강행태 요인으로는 생활습관, 정신 요인, 운동습관, 좌식 습관 모두에서 유의한 차이를 나타냈다. 흡연자(p<0.001), 음주자(p<0.001), 아침식사 4회 이하(p<0.001), 과일 섭취 4회 이하(p<0.001), 패스트푸드 섭취 2회 이하(p<0.001)에서 비만도가 높게 나타났다. 스트레스가 높은 학생(p<0.05)에서 비만도가 높게 나타났다. 운동습관은 신체활동은 3회 이상(p<0.001), 근력운동하는 학생((p<0.01), 체육활동 1~2회(p<0.001)에서 비만율이 높게 나타났다. 좌식 습관은 학습 목적의 6시간 이하(p<0.001), 학습 목적 외 6시간 초과(p<0.001)인 학생에서 비만율이 높게 나타났다. 이상의 결과로 볼 때 좌식 시간이 길수록 비만율이 높아지는 게 아니라 학습 목적 외의 좌식 시간이 길수록 비만율이 높게 나타났다. 따라서 인터넷 사용의 시간을 제제하고, 학교에서 올바른 생활습관과 운동습관을 교육하고, 청소년의 신체 건강을 위한 정책이 매우 필요하다고 사료된다.

번식기간중 맹꽁이(Kaloula borealis)의 먹이 습성 (Feeding Habits of the Kaloula borealis during the Breeding Season)

  • 맹꽁이(Kaloula borealis)의 먹이 습성을 밝히기 위하여 2011년 6월에 제주도 대정읍 일대에서 채집된 56개체에서 52개체의 먹이를 조사하였다. 위 속의 먹이는 Stomach Flushing Method를 이용하여 분석하였다. 분석결과, 맹꽁이(Kaloula borealis)의 주요 먹이는 파리류, 먼지벌레류, 개미류, 초파리류로 나타났다. 부피가 작은 먹이는 다양한 크기의 개체들이 포식을 하고 있으나, SVL이 큰 개체들은 부피가 큰 먹이들도 포식하여 에너지 효율성을 높이고 있다. 맹꽁이(Kaloula borealis)는 비행능력이 있고 활동적인 파리류나 초파리류를 먹이로 많이 이용하고 있는 것으로 보아 이들은 활발히 움직이면서 먹이를 포식하기보다는 기다리다가 포식하는 형태인 것으로 나타났다. 이번 연구를 통해 얻어진 맹꽁이(Kaloula borealis)의 먹이습성에 대한 연구 자료는 급격히 감소되어가는 이들의 보호와 개체군 보존전략에 대한 대안을 마련하는데 유용하게 활용될 것이다.
