Recently, the government recommend the use of LCC analysis at a feasibility phase by comprehensive countermeasures for efficient public construction projects and comprehensive countermeasures against preventing unconscientious construction. From the end of 1980's, studies of LCC is in progress actively However, it is difficult to put to practical use for lack of a process, a detailed guideline and existing data about LCC analysis. This study proposes a analysis methodology and a cost model can estimate life cycle cost for Buildings. Furthermore, it develops algorithms for computerizing which is able to estimate efficient LCC assessment.

A gutter-shaped U grating is a facility that is installed at the sides of a road to provide pedestrians with a rainwater-free road. The previous studies on this facility focused mainly on the progress of the efforts that are being made to improve its performance and interception efficiency so as to prevent damages in regional areas due to the heavy rains caused by climate change. The studies on its maintenance, however, are still inadequate. Therefore, this study was conducted to analyze and compare the life cycle costs and performance evaluations of the steel and magic gratings, which are installed in apartments. The results of the study show that the replacement period and rate of gratings differ depending on where they are installed. The initial capital investment cost of a magic grating installed at a road where many vehicles pass is quite high, but in terms of its maintenance and entire-life-cycle costs, its total expenses are lower than those of a steel grating. The results of this study are expected to serve as preliminary data for the selection of an adequate grating that is suitable for particular places in the design phase of construction projects.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the factors that influence marital conflicts and family life statisfaction, and to predict the future stage of establishment family and extending family, bsed on the theretical model by system approach. For this pourpose, 336 couples of urban households in Seoul were selected. The data were analysed through statistical methods such as, Frequency, percentile, T-test, F-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation analysis. The results were as follow : The Martial Conflict and family life satisfaction of surveyed couples were above middle level. It had significantly differences according to family life cycle, husband and wife's educationed levels, husband and wife's occupations, and family income. And Family life satisfaction had significantly differences according to marital conflict. The marital conflict is higher, life satisfaction is lower. In this study, it were appeared that the amount of marital conflict and life satisfaction had differences according to life cycle stages, husband and wife's educational level, husband and wife occupations, and family income, and so that the conflict of phsycho-social system was more affected on family life satisfaction that of managerial system. Such results were indicated that the birth of children was the critical family event affecting on family life satisfaction on and the marital conflict. But the conflict by family's given resources and situational differences also as an environment affection on the family system.

There are several stage in corporate's life cycle such as foundation, growth, maturity or bankruptcy. A bankruptcy is very important for corporate in the life cycle. Especially, venture business' life cycle is short compare to other type of corporate. A lot of venture businesses have emerged and bankrupted soon in the market. Venture businesses' survival or bankruptcy have been influenced by not only external environment like the rate of exchange, oil price, and foreign exchange crisis but also internal environment such as efficiency, process, human resources, finance and CEO. In this paper, we attempt to examine financial factors and efficiency that influence on the venture businesses' survival and bankruptcy. The more venture businesses have high efficiency score, the more they have high probability of survival.

Online game industry is one of the most value added industry and continues to grow rapidly nowadays. This paper classifies the diffusion patterns of online games according to online game genre, estimates coefficients of innovation and imitation using Bass model, extracts the Bass-based adoption life cycle model which reflects the properties of each game, and then analyzes the diffusion pattern of each game. Through the research on the diffusion pattern of online games, if we can identify the characteristics of changing market and consumers in accordance with the product life cycle, we will provide the implications to the marketing strategy, which have to change at every stage of adoption life cycle, not to mention to investment plan.

Ventures through technological innovation are increasingly suggested as one of the main engines for economic growth that can help control inflation and black trade balance. The Purpose of this study is to extract the network performance factors for ventures according to ventures life cycle. For the Purpose, the existing studies were examined into start-up company, entrepreneurial firm, smell firms with competitive advantage against large firms, and ventures network activity. And 63 samples from ventures in Korea were taken and analyzed empirically. The analyses and results are (1) the actual conditions of network activity on ventures; (2) the investigation of relationship between network activity and performance of ventures by venture's life cycle through the observations of Korean ventures. From the results, It Is also found that factors such as external environment and a ventures life cycle have been considered as the main influences on the performance of ventures. In addition, limitations and suggestions for further studies are noted.

Purpose: System availability and life cycle cost are often used to evaluate the system performance and is influenced by the operation and maintenance characteristic. In this paper, we propose the method to improve life cycle cost and satisfy the target availability through redundancy allocation. Methods: We consider the redundancy is available at all items in multi level system. Thus, we assume that sub-assembly, module, components can be duplicated. Simulation and genetic algorithm are employed to optimize redundancy allocation. Results: Target availability is higher, the life cycle cost is increased. In addition, the items for redundancy are selected at higher level in multi level system if target availability is higher. Conclusion: We could know that target availability affects the duplication number of items and the selection of redundancy items. For further study, we will consider new optimization algorithms to compare with the proposed GA algorithm and improve optimization performance.

This study examines the value-relevance of accruals and discretionary accruals. Also, by examining the effects of the corporate life-cycle on these relationship, this study is able to provide evidence of the value-relevance of accruals and discretionary accruals measures in the economic context of life-cycle theory. This study uses results based on life-cycle classification methods developed by Anthony and Ramesh(1992), adjust Jones model and Dechow Dechev(2002) model. We classify firms using individuals variables(sales growth, capital expenditure growth, employee growth) and then use a composite score obtained from all variables for classification. Our sample consists of 272 firms listed in the Korean Stock Exchange during 14 years(1996-2009). Our final sample for regression variables consists of 2,448 firm-year observations. This evidence implies that the value-relevance of accruals and discretionary accruals in the growth and mature stage can have positive impact on the price but in the decline the value-relevance of accruals and discretionary accruals can have negative impact on the price. The results mean that discretionary accruals communicate managements' private information in the growth stage, but. earnings management in the decline stage. The results of this study suggest that corporate life cycle stages influence the value-relevance of accruals and discretionary accruals measures.

The activities of managing and controlling the configuration of a system component over its life cycle are critical tasks in developing a high safety system as well as general system development. These configuration management activities should be defined through the management plan at the beginning of the life cycle, and should be performed continuously and systematically until the end of the project after the system or product development is completed. In this study, the configuration management process applied in the development of high safety railway signaling system was introduced and an efficient application proposals of it was proposed. In particular, configuration management through the establishment of a configuration management system based on computer tools is one of the important activities of maintaining the configuration integrity of the system or product.

Large-scale construction projects require various license and technologies for the manufacturing and handling processes. Also, the whole life cycle business process management determines the success of the project. Then, the efficiency of the business conducted by stakeholders and their possessed technology should be enhanced in order to strengthen their competitive power. For this reason, many experts pointed out to focus on the improvement of the life cycle process and efficient management. Since it is very important to keep up-to-date data and utilize it for work during the long-term project to reflect changes in the large-scale project, the most important part of the project management in project is information change management. Therefore, the objective of this study is applying configuration management(CM) technique in order to managing change data generated for planning in early phase. The result of this research will certainly assist the large-scale project managers in the development of information change management system.
