  • This study analyzed 'how the elderly's sexual relations and marital intimacy affect the elderly's life satisfaction'. Interviews and visits were conducted for 11 days targeting 309 elderly people aged 65 years or older. As a result of the analysis, 51% were male, 49% were female, and 84.7% were in their 60s and 70s. Approximately 60.1% of them were religious, of which 24.7% were protestants. In the region, 42.9% lived in rural and fishing villages. The percentage of those who answered that their health status was above average was 87.6%. Regarding the frequency of sexual life, 41.4% of the respondents said they had sex once or twice a month. Males had a higher frequency of sexual life than females. A lower age, higher education, living in small and medium-sized cities, better health status, and higher income level were associated with a higher frequency of sexual life. The factors that showed a significant difference in sex life satisfaction were gender, region, and health status. Those with religion as Protestantism, residing in a small or medium-sized city or over, with better health and higher income levels were found to have higher life satisfaction. The satisfaction with sex life had a positive correlation with emotional intimacy (p<.01) and life satisfaction (p<.01). Based on the above results, the sexual life satisfaction of the elderly has a positive effect on life satisfaction, and emotional intimacy between spouses had a positive influence on life satisfaction.

The items were found to have internal consistency. In the validation of discriminant validity, both AVE and CR values were found to be 0.6 or more than the reference value of 0.8. The intuitiveness of the variables used in this study was found to be largely secured. As the hypothesis test result, the standardization factor was calculated as 0.993 for 'safety needs ⇨ use satisfaction' and 0.453 for 'use satisfaction ⇨ life satisfaction', and both hypotheses were positive. As a result of the verification, it was analyzed that the higher the user's safety needs, the higher the use satisfaction, and the higher the use satisfaction, the higher the life satisfaction.

And a half of them considered themselves as heal- thy people and the other half as unhealthy. Secondly in view of statisticsal results the level of their life satisfaction was influnced by their individual family and facillity related factors. • This study aims to identify causal variables by examining the mutual influences of community consciousness and life satisfaction. We used some data of KCYPS. A longitudinal study of 1952 adolescents selected as a sample was conducted using the Aautoregressive crossover delay model. The results of this study are as follows: First, it showed that life satisfaction is consistently affecting the later life satisfaction with the passage of time. Second, community consciousness showed that the previous community consciousness has a constant influence on the subsequent community consciousness as time passes. Third, the effect of previous life satisfaction on community consciousness was significant. Therefore, the cross-delay effect of life satisfaction on community awareness was stable with time. In other words, life satisfaction level was a causal variable that takes precedence over community consciousness, and the higher the life satisfaction of the previous time, the higher the level of community consciousness in the future. Fourth, the cross-delay effect of community consciousness on life satisfaction was not significant because community consciousness at previous time had no meaningful effect on life satisfaction at later time, so consciousness of community at previous time affects life satisfaction. This study provided some implications basing on this results.

  • This study was conducted to explore the factors that affect youth life satisfaction in order to find ways to increase their life satisfaction. For this purpose, we utilized data from the National Youth Policy Institute's '2021 Youth Socio-Economic Survey' to study 2,041 youth aged 18-34 as of 2021. The randomForest method was applied to explore various variables that affect youth life satisfaction. A total of 21 variables were analyzed, including demographic and socio-demographic factors and psychological and emotional factors. The results of exploring the variables affecting youth life satisfaction using randomForest are as follows. First, all 21 predictors were found to have an impact on young adults' life satisfaction. Second, the most significant impact on youth life satisfaction was found to be 'work values'. Third, it can be seen that young people's perceptions of society, such as 'political effectiveness' and 'perception of older generation', are also variables that affect youth life satisfaction. Based on these findings, the variables affecting youth life satisfaction are explained and discussion points are presented.
