농촌문화마을 조성 및 활성화 방안연구(1) - 김제시 대산마을(현황분석 및 기본구상)을 중심으로 - (A Study on the Creation and Activation Program of Cultural Rural Village - Focused on the Case in Dae -San Village, Kimje-si, Chonbuk Province -)

  • Now in order to overcome the weakest points of the rural areas of the city of Kimje and, transform them into rural cultural villages which have local governing systems suitable to new localization age and activate this plan, we selected Daesan Village as a model village which had shown a lot of potentials in the basic research and studied it dividing it into the former part and the latter part. We studied Daesan village in the former part focusing on state analysis and basic ideas and in the latter part focusing on master plan and detail planning. We can summarize the conclusion like the followings. 1. Daesan Village located 8 kilometer away from the downtown Kimje and the city of Iksan respectably has comparatively good environment of good sunny place as an open field whose surrounding configuration of the ground consists of farming lands and low hills in front and rear. It has 38 farming households in all. 2. Human environment(인문환경); the village road whose width is about 4 meters is forming a flow system forking off into three. There is a route bus which operates three times a day even into the inside of the village. The main sources of revenue are vegetables in facilities, fruits and floriculture. Their average revenue is about 10.5 million won. 3. Here in DaeSan Village a legend dealing with Teasan literally meaning a big mountain consist of th village's tradition and you can see the tombs of a very faithful son and Anwi an army general in the age of the Japanese Invasion of Korea of 1592 to 1598 inside the village. 4. 85 out of the eitire population 141 whose age are over 20 showed very positive attitudes in a questionnaire about, making the village a cultural one and its development. 5. The basic of planned ideas is to increase the revenue of the farming household by making the village a professional farming one which has a state-of the-art production facility and agricultural technique. It is to make the village the one where people can enjoy the sense of the rural life and the farmer can enjoy their lives through consumptive and consistant leisure and resting activities. 6. We are planning to make entrance space, life space, rest and sport space, and cultural space considering the characteristics of the village and the demand of the resident. We are also planning to make tile entire city of Kimje an information transmitting base in short and long term perspectives. 7. DaeSan Village was planned as a place where tradition and the future exist together. On the basis of this concept we planned future programs for Daesan Village and in the latter part of the study master plans and detail plans will be continued.the regional agricultural condition. The development permissions were only during the period of restricted to use ($1979.12{\sim}1993.11$). We propose that the authority of development permission should be given to the local autonomy government, because the local government has the knowledge of its individual agricultural conditions.

대구 지명유래에 관한 연구 - '동(洞)명'을 사례로 - (A Study on Origins of the Geographical Name in Daegu Metropolitan Area : Based on the Geographical Name of Dong(洞))

  • 대구 지역 동명 중 유래 분석이 가능한 173개의 동명을 대상으로 주제별로 분석한 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 동명 유래는 주제별로 10가지(자연경관, 인문경관, 위치 등)로 분류된다. 동명 유래에 있어 자연경관이 가장 큰 영향을 준 것으로 나타났다. 특히 동구의 경우 그러한 경향이 강하게 나타난다. 이것은 동구지역에 넓게 분포하는 팔공산과 금호강에서 기인한 것으로 판단된다. 둘째, 대구의 중심지인 중구와 대구 정체성이 비교적 강한 북구의 경우 지명은 주로 인문경관이나 위치와 관련한 경 우가 많았다. 특히 중구의 경우, 동명과 관련하여 대구읍성이 가장 중요했음을 알 수 있다. 셋째, 1914년 행정구역 통합으로 새롭게 나타나는 동명은 기존 동명에서 한자씩 차용하여 만든 경우가 대부분이다. 넷째, 1980년대 이후 새롭게 신설된 수성구와 달서구의 경우, 자연경관을 지명 제정에 활용한 경우가 많다. 그러나 수성구의 지명유래에 해당하는 '수성들'과 달서구의 중요한 자연경관인 '성당지', 와룡산 등은 주요한 대상지로 인식되어 왔음을 확인할 수 있었다. 다섯째, 동구에는 역사와 관련한 지명이 많은데, 이것은 927년의 '공산전투'가 주요인이다. 특히 공산전투와 관련된 역사적 지명이나 설화에 바탕을 둔 지명들은 스토리텔링을 활용한 지역 관광활성화에도 큰 기여를 할 것으로 판단된다.

Measurement of Mechanical and Physical Properties of Pepper for Particle Behavior Analysis

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the mechanical and physical properties of a Korean red pepper variety for particle behavior analysis. Methods: Poisson's ratio, modulus of elasticity, shear modulus, density, coefficient of restitution, and coefficient of friction were derived for "AR Legend," which is a domestic pepper variety. The modulus of elasticity and Poisson's ratio were measured through a compression test using a texture analyzer. The shear modulus was calculated from the modulus of elasticity and Poisson's ratio. The density was measured using a water pycnometer method. The coefficient of restitution was measured using a collision test, and the static and dynamic friction coefficients were measured using a inclined plane test. Each test was repeated 3-5 times except for density measurement, and the results were analyzed using mean values. Results: Poisson's ratios for the pepper fruit and pepper stem were 0.295 and 0.291, respectively. Elastic moduli of the pepper fruit and pepper stem were $1.152{\times}10^7Pa$ and $3.295{\times}10^7Pa$, respectively, and the shear moduli of the pepper fruit and pepper stem were $4.624{\times}10^6Pa$ and $1.276{\times}10^7Pa$, respectively. The density of the pepper fruit and the pepper stem were $601.8kg/m^3$ and $980.4kg/m^3$, respectively. The restitution coefficients between pepper fruits, pepper stems, a pepper fruit and a pepper stem, a pepper fruit and plastic, and a pepper stem and plastic were 0.383, 0.218, 0.277, 0.399, and 0.148, respectively. The coefficients of static friction between pepper fruits, pepper stems, a pepper fruit and a pepper stem, a pepper fruit and plastic, and a pepper stem and plastic were 0.455, 0.332, 0.306, 0.364, and 0.404, respectively. The coefficients of dynamic friction between a pepper fruit and plastic and a pepper stem and plastic were 0.043 and 0.034, respectively.

觀光開發を核としたむらづくりと住民の組織的活動 -大間間町小平集落を事例として- (A Report of a Rural Construction with Sight-seeinng Development as Leading Project and Methodical Activities of Inhabitants -The Case of Odaira Hamlet, Oomama Town, Gumma Prefecture-)

  • It is a important problem that the adjustment of a rural settlementas a unit of rural community, and many number of researcher tackled its. The aim of this paper is to verificate the process of rural con-struction, that is applied the regional resources, and to introduce the situation of attending inhabitants, and their employments as a results of this planning. We chose Odaira hamlets in Oomama town, it is located in Gunma prefecture as an object of this study. Odaira is a small village in the mauntain, and it is composed only 135 families. Odaira is an underpopulated hamlet. It is engaged no lively farming and forestry. Most of inhabitants are commuting to the cities around here. Inhabitants of Odaira who are conscious of the conditions of declining hamlet organized a group to improve it. This group have investigated all around the hamlet as a system of workshop. And they found the resources for sight-seeing, crops as the regional products, and other resources for rural planning under three keywords ; resources for the sight-seeing, the rigional products, and theimprovement of environments. In many resources, most important thing was the existens of a stalactite cave come down as a legend from old time. Local government of Oomama town and the inhabitants tried to explorate of stalactite cave and succesed to excavate it. They have constructed two facilities for management, parkaround the stalactite cave and these have been a new place of work for inhabitants. Arrangement of the rural constructions developed to other items schemed acording to the master plan, like as a camping ground, bungalows, a wet botanical garden, and a park beside a river. These also produced the new places of work for 54 people as a result of this rural planning. The most of them were the aged peoples and the women of farmer. The highest age was 83 years old, he is working at the camping ground. In the employment system at Odaira, people who desire to work and desire to employ both registrate to a commission of management of Odaira, and this commission arrange them in case of needs.

조선 중기 유의(儒醫) 이석간(李碩幹)의 가계와 의약사적 연구 - 새로 발견된 대약부(大藥賦)를 중심으로 - (Medical Achievements of Doctor-Lee, Seokgan and Interpretation of the first unveiled 「Daeyakbu」)

  • This study confirmed that a doctor named Lee, Seok-gan whose name has been widely known but whose real identity has remained unclear, was an active Confucian doctor in the 16th century. In addition, through the newly discovered "Daeyakbu" among his family line, writings, and relics that have been handed down in a family, this study looked into his medical philosophy and medicine culture. The author of "Ieseokgangyeongheombang"(Medical Book by Lee, Seok-gan(李石澗), Seok-gan is the same person as an active famous doctor Lee, Seok-gan(李碩幹, 1509-1574) in the 16th century. Such a fact can be confirmed through "Samuiilheombang", "Sauigyeongheombang" and the newly opened "Ieseokgangyeongheombang". Lee, Seok-gan was born in the 4th ruling year of king Jungjong (1509) and was active as a doctor until the 7th ruling year of king Seonjo(1547); his first name is Jungim with the pen name-Chodang, and he used a doctor name of 'Seokgan.' He was known as a divine doctor, and there have been left lots of anecdotes in relation with Lee, Seok-gan. Legend has it that Seokgan went to China to give treatment to the empress, and a heavenly peach pattern drinking cup and a house, which the emperor bestowed on Seokgan in return for his great services, still have remained up to the present. Usually, Seokgan interacted with Toegye Lee Hwang and his literary persons, and with his excellent medical skills, Seokgan once gave treatment to Toegye at the time of his death free of charge. His medical skills have been handed down in his family, and his descendant Lee, Ui-tae(around 1700) compiled a medical book titled "Gyeongheombangwhipyeon(經驗方彙編)". Out of Lee, Seok-gan's keepsakes which were donated to Sosu museums by his descendant family, 4 sorts of 'Gwabu'(writings of fruit trees) including "Daeyakbu" were discovered. It's rare to find a literary work left by a medical figure like this, so these discoveries have a deep meaning even from a medicine culture level. Particularly, "Daeyakbu" includes the typical "Uigukron". The "Uigukron", which develops its story by contrasting politics with medicine, has a unique writing style as one of the representative explanatory methods of scholars' position during the Joseon Dynasty; in addition, the distinctive feature of "Uigukron" is that it was created in the form of 'Gabu' other than a prose.

  • 본 연구는 서울 올림픽공원과 북경 올림픽공원을 대상으로 한 중의 현대조경설계에서 전통문화의 접근방법을 밝혀보고자 하였다. 이론적 고찰과 연구대상지의 전통문화의 이용방법을 분석한 결과, 현대조경설계에서 전통문화에 접근하는 방법은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 깊이 있는 전통문화의 이해가 필요하다. 대규모 조경설계의 경우 많은 경우 자기나라의 고유 특성을 표현해야 하므로 자국을 대표할 수 있는 문화를 잘 알아야한다. 이런 문화는 모든 사람들이 공유할만한 가치를 지닌, 세계에 보여줄 수 있는 문화들이다. 둘째, 전통문화와 향토지식을 존중한다. 전통문화와 향토지식을 존중하고 전통적인 경험을 받아들인다. 생활환경에서 정신적 영향을 받기 때문에 자신의 환경에 대해 인지하는 것이 외지인이 아는 것보다 더 심오한 깊이를 가진다. 그래서 설계시 현지인과 문화전통에 대해 진지하게 생각해야 한다. 또한 합리적으로 지역적 환경을 이용하고, 입지의 자연조건에 순응해야 한다. 입지외의 생태요소는 입지에 대해 직접적인 영향과 작용을 주므로 설계는 입지만을 고려해서는 안 된다. 위의 내용을 구현하는 방법은 대체적으로 네 가지가 있는데 보존, 재현, 모방, 반영으로 구분되어진다.

김해(金海) 대성동(大成洞) 환호유적(環濠遺蹟) 연구(硏究) (A study on enclosure in Daesoeng-dong Site, Kimhae)

  • There is no definite theory, which archeologists have believed to be built either for the protection or ceremonial purpose, of enclosure historical site exhibited from Bronze Age to Samhan era in Korea. The main conditions of choosing right enclosure were natural levee-backswamp-plateau, which all found in village on a hill. For this reasons Kimhae Daesoeng-dong enclosure discovered in 2001 is not an exception, and therefore this enclosure has been believed to be a beginning point of the farming society. In Korea there have been 2 types of enclosure. One is that enclosure entirely surrounds whole historic site itself and the other is that enclosure partially does. Although Kimhae Daesoeng-dong historic site has been discovered only part of it, it's not believed to have the first type-which surrounds the whole enclosure historic site In this research, 3 developing steps of enclosure historic site were defined. Enclosure surrounds only a part of the historic site is 1st step. Enclosure surrounds all around the site is 2nd step. The site discovered with big round clay pottery and developed into multiple enclosure is 3rd step. Since some researches have not been accomplished, the hypothesis above was suggested to have a better understanding of the development of enclosure historic site. The purpose of enclosure has been separately explained for the protection or for the ceremony. It is difficult to assert that excavation sites could be applied to only one of two purposes. But it is possible that both purposes of enclosure such as protection and as division from ceremonial area could be applied together. Kimhae Daesoeng-dong enclosure was shown for the purpose of division from ceremonial area. But we can not ignore that since Kimhae Daesoeng-dong enclosure exposed to the Sea and dwelling area was not shown from village hill, it would be probably for the protection. However enclosure of Gujibong village area in Daesoeng-dong had used for ceremonial purpose since the Bronze Age, even this enclosure would be possible to play an important role of being a center of legend of Gaya foundation. Many unsolved questions are still lying ahead. The enclosure was used for a short time, even if dwelling area was found in and out of enclosure, there were no differences between them, and although duplicate and triplicate enclosure were found, we could not sure which were before and after. Also we could not confirm the type of enclosure with location condition which was the flat land or the top of hill on floodplain. We should not divide the types of enclosure historic site due to differences from cross section of stratum. And I expect that we will have much data such as distribution of enclosure historic site in Yeongnam area where is concerned with origin and diffusion of Japan and China.

미국형 기사의 탄생: 에드윈 어스틴 애비의 벽화에 등장하는 중세 기사의 기원과 사회적 기능 연구 (The Birth of American Knights: A Study on the Origin and Social Function of the Medieval Knights appeared in Edwin Austin Abbey's Murals)

  • 본 논문은 에드윈 어스틴 애비의 벽화 ${\ll}$성배의 탐색${\gg}$에 등장하는 중세 기사의 기원과 사회적 기능에 관한 연구이다. 미국 문화에서 중세 기사 유형은 1850년대 말문학에서 먼저 등장했으며, 1870년대에는 정치 카툰에서도 다루어졌다. 아메리칸 르네상스 벽화 중에서는 1895년 애비의 벽화에서 처음 나타났다. 중세 기사는 영국에서 라파엘전파 화가들이 즐겨 그린 주제였다. 영국에서활동한 애비는 라파엘전파 회화와 로열 아카데미의 회화 전통을 종합하여 중세기사를 형상화했다. 그러나 신체적 활동에 기반한 모험담을 강조한 라파엘전파화가들과 달리, 애비는 기사의 도덕성을 강조했다. 이는 애비가 1890년대 미국도금시대의 사회적, 경제적 상황을 고려한 결과로 풀이된다. 미국은 남북전쟁 이후 경제적 번영을 이루었으나 화려한 경제 성장 이면에는 사회의 안정과 결속을해치는 부정부패, 빈부격차, 그로 인한 계급사회의 갈등이 도사리고 있었다. 극심한 빈부 격차는 사회적 위기로 이어졌다. 문학과 미술에서는 이에 대한 자각과 자성을 촉구했다. 애비는 도금시대 자본가의 만행을 고발하고 개혁의 희망을 담은벽화 ${\ll}$성배의 탐색${\gg}$을 제작했으며, 개혁의 이상을 실현시킬 수 있는 지도자의 상징으로 갤러해드를 선택했다. 애비의 벽화는 보스턴 공공 도서관에 설치되어 정부의 부패와 그로 인한 경제적, 사회적 혼란에 대한 경각심을 불러일으키고 자치 단체의 도덕성 쇄신을 촉구하는 공적 기능을 수행했다. 도덕적 책임감을 강조한 애비의 미국형 기사는 또한 애국심을 고취하는 매개체가 되었다. 이 작품에서 중세 유럽 기사는 미국 시민으로 탄생했으며, 시민적 덕목을 지닌 지도자의 표상으로 변화했다.

『선원보감(璿源寶鑑)』에 수록된 산도(山圖)의 표현기법(表現技法)에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Expressive Technique of Sando(山圖) Included in 『Seonweon Bogam(璿源寶鑑)』)

  • 산도(山圖)에 대한 연구는 고지도(古地圖)를 중심으로 회화(繪畵)와 풍수(風水) 등 다양한 분야에서 다양한 시각으로 꾸준히 연구 성과가 축적되고 있다. 그러나 기존의 연구는 대부분 문헌연구(文獻硏究)에 의한 산도(山圖)의 양식과 종류 그리고 실생활에서의 활용 등에 초점이 맞추어져 있고 산도(山圖) 자체에 대한 분석과 연구는 미진한 실정이다. 따라서 본 연구는 산도(山圖)에 대한 체계적인 연구를 위해 지금까지 축적된 산도(山圖)에 대한 선행연구를 기반으로 산도표현(山圖表現)의 특징을 세 가지 관점으로 분류하고 분석하여 아래와 같은 결과를 도출하였다. (1) 산도(山圖)에 적용된 좌향(坐向)에 대한 정보를 통해, "선원보감(璿源寶鑑)" 산도(山圖)의 제작과정에서 "증보문헌비고(增補文獻備考)"의 자료를 참고하였을 가능성을 밝혔고, (2) <사공공릉도(司空公陵圖)>에 사용된 범례(凡例)를 통해 <사공공릉도(司空公陵圖)> 제작자가 고지도(古地圖) 전문가일 가능성을 밝혔으며, (3) "선원보감(璿源寶鑑)" 산도(山圖)에 표기된 태조(太祖)의 4대조(代祖) 능에 표기된 위치정보(位置情報)의 내용을 "북도각릉전도형(北道各陵殿圖形)" 산도(山圖)의 내용과 비교분석하여 두 자료의 연관성과 또 다른 판본(版本)의 존재 가능성에 대해 논하였고, (4) 나경(羅經)의 발명과 발전이 지도(地圖)와 산도(山圖)의 정확한 표현에 영향을 미치는 과정과 이러한 방위 표기법이 고지도(古地圖)와 산도(山圖)에 각각 다르게 적용된 사례를 살펴보았다. 그리고 (5) 산도(山圖)의 대상지에 대한 자연환경을 효과적으로 표현하기 위해 물길과 도로가 "선원보감(璿源寶鑑)" 산도(山圖)에 각각 다르게 표현된 사례를 정리하였고, (6) 산도(山圖)의 표현에서 중요한 요소인 물(水)에 대한 표현을 중국(中國)의 풍수서(風水書)와 일부 다르게 표현하고 있음을 밝혀 조선시대 산도(山圖)가 기본적으로는 중국(中國) 풍수서(風水書)의 표현을 따르고 있지만 우리만의 독자적인 표현기법도 동시에 존재하였음을 살펴보았으며, 마지막으로 ⑦ 산도(山圖)에 표기된 풍수용어(風水用語)들을 분석하여 산도(山圖)가 자연 지형을 풍수지리(風水地理) 명당 공간으로 형상화한 그림지도임을 확인하였다.

머리카락에서 물을 짜내는 지모신 형상의 기원과 변모에 관한 연구 (A study on the origin and transformation of the image of earth goddess wring her hair)

  • This paper has been written to find facts about the image of earth goddess broadly found in the Southeast Asia. The research findings are as follows: Firstly, the image of earth goddess wringing her hair is phenomenally discovered in both Buddhist temple murals and independent shrines in Thailand. This phenomenon is common in other Indochinese Buddhist countries such as Myanmar, Laos and Cambodia. Secondly, the life of Buddha including the story of the victory over Mara is found in such Buddhist canons as Mahavastu, Buddhacarita, Lalitavistara, Nidanakatha and Patamasambodhi. Among the canons, the story of the victory over Mara is described in differently ways. Earth becomes personified as the goddess in later version. The main cause to expel Mara's army also changes from sound to water. Patamasambodhi is most closely associated with the iconography of the earth goddess of Southeast Asia. Thirdly, Vessantara Jataka and Indian ancient customs tell us that a merit maker performs a rite of pouring water on the earth as an evidence for merit-making. This rite is a key to understanding the meaning of the scene where the earth goddess expels Mara's army into the flood by wringing her hair. The earth goddess is personified from the earth upon which the merit water is poured. Water soaked in her hair is the very holy water poured by the Buddha whenever he made a merit in his former lives. The amount of water flowed from the hair of the earth goddess representing the amount of his merit making was so huge and enough to defeat the Mara's army and for the Buddha to reach the Enlightenment. This legend explains the significance of the notion of merit in the Theravada Buddhist countries such as Thailand and Myanmar where the water pouring rites still take place and the images of the hair wringing earth goddess are commonly discovered. Fourthly, the first image of the earth goddess as the witness of merits for the Buddha appeared in some Gandharan Buddhist sculptures in the form of devotional gesture with her both hands pressed together and the upper half of her body above the ground. The appearance is in accordance with the description of her in the Lalitavistara canon. In later periods, the form changed into various types and finally the image of the earth goddess wringing her hair appeared in Southeast Asia around 11 century C.E. Some researchers argue this image form of the earth goddess shows the influence from China or India. However, the arguments are considered to be hypothetical as they have no strong evidence to prove. Finally, the modern image of earth goddess shows richer and more dynamic expression compared with its predecessors. Especially, outstanding is the standing earth goddess images found in the scene of the victory over Mara in many temple murals of central region of Thailand. The earth goddess in her voluptuous body shape is usually depicted as wringing her hair with her arms wide open in a posture of S curve. This appearance strongly reminds us of the postures of Salabhanjika and Tribhanga originated from Indian art. The adoption presumably has been made to signify her fertile and affluent characteristics.
