  • As a scheme to efficiently reduce the effects of multipath fading in next generation wireless communication systems, cooperative communication systems have recently come into the spotlight. Since these cooperative communication systems use cooperative relays with diverse fading coefficients to transmit information, having all relays participate in cooperative communication may result in unnecessary waste of resources, and thus relay selection schemes are required to efficiently use wireless resources. In this paper, we propose an efficient relay selection scheme through self-learning in cooperative wireless networks using Q-learning algorithm. In this scheme, we define states, actions and two rewards to achieve good SER (Symbol Error Rate) performance, while selecting a small number of cooperative relays. When these parameters are well-defined, we can obtain good performance. For demonstrating the superiority of the proposed Q-learning, We compared the proposed scheme with Q-learning and a relay selection scheme with a mathematical analysis. The simulation results show that, compared to a scheme that obtains optimum relays through a mathematical analysis, the proposed scheme uses resources efficiently by using smaller numbers of relays with comparable SER performance. According to these simulation results, the proposed scheme can be considered as a good attempt for future wireless communication.

  • As the demand for distance education increases, interest in the management of learners' rights is increasing. Blockchain technology is a technology that guarantees the integrity of the learner's learning history, and enables learner-led learning control, data security, and sharing of learning resources. In this paper, we proposed a blockchain technology-based learning management system based on Hyperledger Fabric that can be verified through permission between nodes among blockchain platforms. Learning resources can be shared differentially according to the learning progress. Also the percentage of individual learners that can be managed. As a result of the study, the superiority of the platform in terms of convenience compared to the existing platform was demonstrated. As a result of the performance evaluation for the research in this paper, it was confirmed that the convenience was improved by more than 5%, and the performance was 4-5% superior to the existing platform in terms of learner satisfaction.

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the relationship of communication skills and self-directed learning ability between mathematically gifted elementary students and non-gifted students. The subjects include 126 mathematically gifted elementary students from gifted education centers and gifted classes in elementary schools in D Metropolitan City and 124 non-gifted students that were non categorized as gifted students or special children in the same city. Employed in the study were the tests of communication skills and self-directed learning ability. Through this study, there are notable differences in communication skills and self-directed learning ability between mathematically gifted students and non-gifted students. Thus, those communication skills and self-directed learning ability should be taken into account when organizing and running a curriculum. In addition, developing a program for mathematically gifted students, as well as in teaching and learning communication skills and self-directed learning ability sufficient to consider the interrelationships between.

  • Interaction through communication plays critical role in the mathematics learning in the sociocultural perspectives. The communication make the students construct shared knowledge, and also plays a role of mediation in making meaning. So, we have to consider sociocultural eprspectives in design of the mathematics leaning using computer. While Computer Assisted Instruction was the one-directional teaching program which proceed from computer to students, mathematics leaning using computer in the sociocultural perspectives have to consider two-directional instruction that proceed from computer to students as well as from students to computer. This interactional activity is the critical thing in the mathematics learning using computer.

  • Intelligent remote learning system is a system that incorporate communication technology and others : a database engine, an intelligent tutorial system. Learners can study by themselves through the intelligent tutorial system. The existence of a communication, database and artificial intelligence enhance the capability of IRLS. According to Parsaye, an intelligent databases should have the following features : 1) Knowledge discovery. 2) Data integrity and quality control. 3) Hypermedia management. 4) Data presentation and display. 5) Decision support and scenario analysis. 6) Data format management. 7) Intelligent system design tools. I hope that this research of framework for IRLS paves for the future research. As mentioned in the above, the future work will include an intelligent database, self-learning mechanism using neural network.

  • In distributed mobile robot systems, autonomous robots accomplish complicated tasks through intelligent cooperation with each other. This paper presents behavior learning and online distributed evolution for cooperative behavior of a group of autonomous robots. Learning and evolution capabilities are essential for a group of autonomous robots to adapt to unstructured environments. Behavior learning finds an optimal state-action mapping of a robot for a given operating condition. In behavior learning, a Q-learning algorithm is modified to handle delayed rewards in the distributed robot systems. A group of robots implements cooperative behaviors through communication with other robots. Individual robots improve the state-action mapping through online evolution with the crossover operator based on the Q-values and their update frequencies. A cooperative material search problem demonstrated the effectiveness of the proposed behavior learning and online distributed evolution method for implementing cooperative behavior of a group of autonomous mobile robots.

  • I suggested the design learning environment based on affordance concept approach for supporting and improving learners' behavior and outcome for convergent design education in this study. The design learning space should be applied teaching and learning activity, especially learners' behavior, physical space condition to support the design thinking process. The design learning space needs openness, individuality and connectivity to support the learners' behavioral to immerse, participate, cooperate, understand, think and fulfill the design thinking process. The composition principles of the learning environment for convergent design education supports communication and collaboration among members for independence and interaction. The spaces for design research and teaching needs high privacy while facilitating visual communications through special materials and wall structure design. Also, for connectivity to improve the learners' physical and visual contact, the environment of the classrooms requires flexibility and mobility by providing an open space integrating unit cells for realizing learning purpose. These are provided by formed of an open structure for inducing visual communication and physical contact to involve the design activities and the mutual interchange.

  • The cart-pole balancing problem is a pseudo-standard benchmark problem from the field of control methods including genetic algorithms, artificial neural networks, and reinforcement learning. In this paper, we propose a novel approach by using online reinforcement learning(OREL) to solve this cart-pole balancing problem. The objective is to analyze the learning method of the OREL learning system in the cart-pole balancing problem. Through experiment, we can see that approximate faster the optimal value-function than Q-learning.

  • This study is to investigate the relationship between the communication type recognized by members of organization and the learning transfer climate in the organization, and when it comes to the type of communications within organization set as independent variable, four variables such as communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook communication were proposed and regarding learning transfer climate which is a dependent variable, four sub-parameters such as supervisor support, colleague support, transfer opportunity and organizational compensation recognition were selected. 116 copies of the statistical data excluding statistically insignificant surveys were used for 150 participants who participated in the 2015 core competency curriculum for SMEs and 3 months have passed, in order to achieve this study's objective. Meanwhile, the research hypothesis was verified with the collected data through frequency analysis, factor analysis, reliability verification, technical statistical analysis, and simple and multiple regression analysis by using the statistical package program of SPSS 20.0. Results of this study have shown that firstly, communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook communication all showed a positive (+) significant influence on the superior support in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and supervisor support which is learning transfer climate. Secondly, communication type in organization doesn't appear to affect colleague support of learning transfer climate. Thirdly, communication with supervisor, media quality communication, and organizational outlook except for communication with colleagues have shown a positive (+) influence on transfer opportunity in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and transfer opportunity of learning transfer climate. Lastly, communication with supervisor and communication on organizational outlook showed positive(+) influence in the influence relationship between communication type in organization and organizational compensation recognition of learning transfer climate.
