학습자중심 대시보드 설계를 위한 탐색적 연구: 학습정보를 중심으로 (Exploratory study on the information design of online dashboard for learner-centered learning)

  • 학습자중심 학습 환경에서 온라인 대시보드는 학습자 스스로 자신의 활동을 점검, 재구성하는 학습자 중심의 과정을 지원한다. 이때 대시보드 상의 학습정보는 집약적인 형태로 제시되는 특성을 가지고 있으며 다양한 학습자의 개별적인 요구에 맞춤화되어야 한다. 따라서 대시보드가 어떠한 핵심정보를 제공해야 하는지에 대한 탐색이 필요하며, 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 문헌과 대시보드 사례 그리고 학습자 경험을 질적으로 분석하였다. 분석을 통해 도출된 정보의 공통적인 속성을 중심으로 범주화한 결과, 학습준비, 학습참여, 상호작용, 학습성과의 4가지 정보유형 및 11개의 하위범주로 분류할 수 있었다. 이 같은 결과를 토대로 학습자중심 학습 환경에서의 온라인 대시보드 설계 및 구조화에 있어 시사점을 논의하였다.

실습교과목의 이러닝 교육활용 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on Evaluation of e-Learning Education Utilization in Practical Course)

  • IT산업이 발달하면서 기존의 이론 교과목에서 머물러져 있던 이러닝 학습이 실습이 요구되는 교과목까지 영역이 확장되고 있다. 이러닝 학습에서 실습이 요구되는 교과목이 온라인 실습을 통해 학습성과가 있는지 평가돼야 한다. 본 연구에서는 사이버대학 메카트로닉스공학 학생들이 전공기초실습 교과목인 'PLC제어'교과목과 '전동기 서보제어'교과목을 이러닝에서 학습을 위해 '프라임칼리지(Prime College)의 사이버랩'을 통해 학습 성과가 있는지 조사하였다. 이를 위해 사이버랩 학습 운영을 진행하였고, 2년 동안 교과목을 수강한 학생에 대하여 5점 척도 설문과 취득성적을 통해 실습교과목의 대한 이러닝 교육의 효과가 상단부분 있음을 확인하였다.

The effects of team-based learning on nursing students' learning performance with a focus on high-risk pregnancy in Korea: a quasi-experimental study

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to examine the effects of team-based learning (TBL) on nursing students' communication ability, problem-solving ability, self-directed learning, and nursing knowledge related to high-risk pregnancy nursing. Methods: This quasi-experimental study used a nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design. The participants were 91 nursing students allocated to an experimental group (n=45) and a control group (n=46). The experimental group received TBL lectures three times over the course of 3 weeks (100 minutes weekly) and the control group received instructor-centered lectures three times over the course of 3 weeks (100 minutes weekly). Data were collected by questionnaires from September to November, 2019. Data were analyzed using the chi-square test, paired t-test, and independent t-test. Results: After the intervention, the mean scores of problem-solving ability (t=-2.59, p=.011), self-directed learning (t=4.30, p<.001), and nursing knowledge (t=3.18, p=.002) were significantly higher in the experimental group than in the control group. No significant difference in communication ability was found between the experimental and control group (t=1.38, p=.171) Conclusion: The TBL program was effective for improving nursing students' problem-solving ability, self-directed learning, and nursing knowledge. Thus, TBL can be considered an effective teaching and learning method that can improve the learning outcomes of high-risk pregnancy nursing in women's health nursing classes. The findings suggest that TBL will be helpful for future nursing students to develop the nursing expertise necessary for providing nursing care to high-risk pregnant women.

Zoom을 이용한 실시간 비대면 수업에서 몰입과 학습성과에 미치는 요인에 관한 실증연구 (An Empirical Study on Factors Affecting Immersion and Learning Outcomes in Real-time Non-face-to-face Classes using Zoom)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 실시간 비대면 수업에서 학습몰입에 영향을 미치는 변수를 찾아내는데 있다. 이를 위해 Zoom 수업 경험이 있는 학생을 대상으로 2021년 11월 22일에서 2021년 12월 05일까지 설문조사를 실시하였다. 불성실한 응답을 한 설문지를 제외하고 117부를 구조방정식 모형으로 분석하였다. 분석결과 '흥미성'과 '상호작용 수준'이 '학습몰입'에 영향을 미치고 '학습몰입'은 '학습성과'에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 의의는 실시간 비대면 수업에서 학습몰입에 영향을 미치는 변수를 실증적으로 분석하였다는 점에 있다. 후속 연구에서는 Zoom을 비롯한 다양한 플랫폼을 대상으로 학습몰입에 영향을 미치는 변수들에 대한 검증이 필요하다.

시뮬레이션 기반 문제중심학습 수업 사례 연구 (A Case Study on Simulation as Problem-based Learning(S-PBL))

  • 본 연구는 시뮬레이션 기반 문제중심학습 수업을 설계하고 적용한 후 수업 운영의 효과를 초점집단면담을 이용해 분석하고자 수행되었다. 응급구조학은 전공지식을 바탕으로 다양한 응급 상황에 대응할 수 있는 실무 중심의 학습이 중요하다. 문제중심학습 수업의 경우 학습을 위한 현장상황과 관련한 실제 성을 제공하여 문제해결전략과 기술, 팀워크 등의 역량을 향상시킬 수 있어 응급구조학과에서 다루는 다양한 주제를 운영하기에 적합하다. 본 연구는 호흡곤란 환자 사례를 중심으로한 PBL 모듈을 개발해 S대학교 응급구조학과 3학년 16명이 수강하는 전문내과응급처치학 및 실습 교과목에 적용한 것으로, 전문가 컨설팅을 통해 인증평가를 받았으며, 학습자 5명을 대상으로 초점집단면접을 이용한 만족도 질적 연구가 추가로 진행되었다. 전반적인 수업 만족도는 4.76점에서 4.92점으로 높은 수준을 보였다. 특히, PBL 수업을 통해 학습 전략을 재설정하고, 협력 학습을 경험함으로써 긍정적인 학습성과를 얻을 수 있었고 자기효능감을 경험하였다.

An Exploratory Study on the Balanced Scorecard Model of Social Enterprise

  • The purpose of this study is to develop BSC model of social enterprise. Performance analysis tool of BSC have been brought over from the business world, designed and created from the perspectives of profit-based businesses. The BSC is a strategic performance measurement and management tool designed for the private sector acting as a communication/information and learning system, to measure 'where we are now' and 'where to aim for next'. It prescribes a plan for translating 'vision' and 'strategy' into concrete action across four perspectives at different stages, depending on the business. These perspectives are 'financial', 'customer', 'internal processes' and 'learning and growth', each of which is connected by cause-and-effect relationships that reflect the firm's strategy. Social aims of social enterprise are to accomplish desired outcomes which are to employ vulnerable people and to provide social services. The measurement factors of financial perspective are stable funding, efficiency of budgeting, stakeholders' financial supports, and trade profit. The measurement factors of customer perspective are government, social service users, employees, local communities, sup plier, social activity company, and partnership with external organizations. The measurement factors of internal process perspective are organizational culture, organizational structure/management, internal/external communication, quality of products and services, information sharing. The measurement factors of learning and growth perspective are training and development, management participation, knowledge sharing, leadership of CEO and manager, and learning culture.

전략적 학습의 촉진을 위한.균형 성과측정시스템의 개발 (Balanced Performance Measurement System for Strategic Learning)

  • This paper suggests a dynamic balanced scorecard (DBSC) model employing the concept of system dynamics (SD), which could overcome the limitations inherent in the conventional balanced scorecard (BSC) and facilitate strategic learning process in organizations. The BSC has been a successful framework for measuring an organization's performance in various Perspectives through translating an organization's vision and strategy into an interrelated set of key performance indicators and specific actions. The BSC, while having significant strengths over traditional performance measurement methods, however, has its own limitations, due to its static nature, such as overlooking two-way causation between performance Indicators and neglecting the impact of delayed feedback flowing from the adoption of new strategies or policy changes. To overcome these limitations, we employs SD, a methodology for understanding complex systems where dynamic feedback among the interrelated system components significantly impact on the system outcomes. The SD simulation model in the form of DBSC we suggest in this paper would serve as a useful strategic learning tool for facilitating an organization's communication process through various scenario analyses as well as predicting the dynamic behavior pattern of their key performance measures over a future time frame. For the demonstration purpose, we apply the DBSC model to Korea Coal Corporation (KoCoal ) BSC case.

기업 SNS에서 고객의 상호작용 경험이 고객의 학습 혜택과 기업에 대한 고객 신뢰에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Customer Interaction Experiences in Corporate SNSs on Customer Learning Benefits and Customer Trust in the Firm)

  • Many firms have been utilizing SNSs such as Facebook and Twitter actively in order to boost interactions with customers that promote product and service innovations and effective marketing. Although positive outcomes of the customer interactions in SNSs are expected, there exist few studies on the effects of interactions between customers and firms in the SNS context. This study empirically examines how customer experiences in multi-dimensional interactions (i.e., pragmatic, sociability, usability, and hedonic interaction) in corporate SNSs influence customer trust in the firm, and how customer learning benefits are associated with firm benefits such as gaining customer trust. The results indicate that all four dimensions of customer interactions in SNSs have significant effects on customer learning benefits, which in turn significantly influence customer trust in the firm. Meanwhile, the results reveal that there are also direct relationships between specific dimensions of customer interactions in SNSs and the two dimensions of customer trust (i.e., ability-based and benevolence/integrity-based). Based on the findings, this study diagnoses the status of corporate SNSs in terms of collaboration with customers and provides practical implications for firms which attempt to capitalize on the multi-dimensional customer interactions in SNSs and to facilitate innovative activities with customers.

A Meta-Analysis of Research on the Impact of Microcomputer-Based Laboratory in Science Teaching and Learning

  • In an effort to provide information about the effect of Microcomputer-Based Laboratory (MBL) use in science teaching and learning on student achievement and attitudes, a review of research analyzed studies was done between 1981 and 2001, using a meta-analysis procedure. Thirty-seven published and unpublished studies were reviewed. Use of MBL was shown to be potentially effective in the following condition of class; two students, physics teaching, more than one topic, or at the college level. Appropriate research design strategies, financial support (including hardware and software), and the use of more than one instrument for assessing the effect of the MBL instruction are crucial factors for more informative research studies. While helpful in many respects, the prior research revealed a number of problems related to the use of MBL in school science teaching and learning. The prior research does not support the desired intention described in the theory-based outcomes and reveals so little about how teachers and students use MBL, how it influences their teaching and learning, and how effectively it fits into the existing science curriculum. In order to know if the integration of MBL in the existing school science is worth it or not, more careful research design and comprehensive research should be done.

The Impact of Technology Adoption on Student Satisfaction with Higher Education: An Empirical Study from Vietnam

  • This study aims to analyze the impact of technology adoption on students' satisfaction with the higher education system in Vietnam. With the continuous development of information and technology, the education sector in particular and many economic sectors in Vietnam have witnessed an explosion of applications and interventions in teaching-learning. However, these innovations have also received a lot of criticism regarding their effectiveness and feasibility. Although the numerous benefits that technology adoption has brought to education are apparent, many practitioners have not adjusted to this transition, resulting in lower learner satisfaction. Through a survey of more than 2472 university students in Vietnam, the results find a positive relationship between technology adoption and student satisfaction in higher education. We also test how nine contingent factors including gender, income, major, self-study time, learning methods, technology administration, self-ability in adopting technology, technology accessibility, and purpose of using technology can moderate that relationship. Indeed, technology adoption acts as a facilitator to make learning more convenient, effective, and accessible, rather than completely affecting learning outcomes and satisfaction. This result suggests that self-motivation is an important and decisive factor in improving satisfaction through choosing and applying technology effectively and appropriately.
