한국 간호교육기관의 성 건강 이론 교육과정 분석 (Analysis of the Sexual Health Education Curriculum of Nursing Schools in Korea using Posner's Theory)

  • Purpose: This study was aimed to analyze the sexual health curriculum for the nursing baccalaureate and associate's degrees in Korea. The curriculum proper based on Posner's theory presented the analysis of purpose, content, organization, and underlying assumption. Methods: This study was conducted with sexual health education guidelines, nursing practice standards, 181 curriculums, and teaching materials. Data were collected through literature, online homepage from 181 nursing school, and textbooks from July to September, 2013. Data were analyzed using percentage and mean with SPSS 12.0. Results: The purposes were mostly included in the low grade cognitive learning domain. The contents included 20 key elements among 22, so the scope was not inclusive. There was an unbalance between content's depth and scope, because total mean credit of sexual health nursing education was only 19.81 hours. The spiral structure of organization showed continuity, sequence, and integration with international standards. The interdisciplinary integration and transcultural value were advantages of the curriculum. Conclusion: This study provided a view on understanding sexual health nursing curriculum and implication for advanced education. The proclaiming of the standard and concept mapping of sexual health curriculum may contribute to the curriculum development for the advanced nursing.

병원 간호조직의 성과평가지표에 관한 조사 연구 (A Survey for Performance Measurement Indicators of Nursing Organizations in Hospitals)

  • Objective: The objective was to extract a preliminary performance measurement indicators of nursing organizations in hospitals using the BSC(Balanced Score Card) developed by Kaplan and Norton, and to analyze the content validity and evaluation methods of the performance measurement indicators with actual nurses in the nursing organization as participants in the study. Methods: The preliminary performance measurement indicators was created through a literature review and had the content validity by a professional. This survey was sent via post to 316 nurse managers and nurses with more than 5 years of experience in seven secondary and tertiary hospitals in the Seoul Gyonggi district. The completed questionnaires were returned by mail. Results: Fourteen indicators for finances, 16 for customer services, 27 for internal business processes, and 13 for learning and growth were selected. Conclusion: Amidst a rapidly changing medical environment, a first step was taken towards developing a performance measurement from various perspectives for nursing organizations in hospitals from various perspectives, rather than just one or a past-oriented perspective. However, as the most important thing is to actually use these indicators, continuous interest in publicity and education must be developed.

Factors Affecting Employee Engagement at Not-For-Profit Organizations: A Case in Vietnam

  • The paper examines the determinants of employee engagement in the not-for-profit organization (NFPO) sector. A structured questionnaire survey of 205 NFPO employees in Vietnam was employed, preceded by in-depth interviews with NFPO associates and managers. After a multiple regression analysis to study the impact of five independent variables on one dependent variable, the study reveals that Work design and Work-life balance are positively and significantly associated with employee engagement. Of which, Work design is measured by the level of job fit, job autonomy, job challenge, and job meaningfulness. On the other hand, Work-life balance involves measurement aspects consisting of how reasonable the workload is and organizational support. Meanwhile, different from the business world, Leadership, Learning and Development, and Recognition do not show statistically positive impacts on employee engagement in NFPOs. Still, they are crucial back-supporting factors to ensure employee experience at work. Further, the study finds that personal growth contributes a great part to keep employees in the sector motivated. This paper brings the area of study to the forefront in an effort to benefit the practice of human resources management in NFPOs as well as support employees in the sector with a higher quality working experience.

  • Nowadays, BSC presented by alpan is observed by many enterprises and is being operated gradually. BSC includes non-financial factor as well as financial factor in performance assessment and it is a tool that will be able to evaluate even strategy of long-term view. In point of performance management, BSC brings in relief importance on non-financial performance as well as financial performance and it shares with viewpoint of 4 things of financial viewpoint, customer viewpoint, internal process view point, learning and growth viewpoint. then these make an array with vision and strategy of organization by causal relationship, it presented necessity of performance control on organization as center on KPI of inner of each viewpoint. Thus, study on measures and control of management performance is progressed actively and is accomplishing much development. This study is aimed at calculation of weight that is able to reflect its importance about AHP on KPI of each viewpoint. The purpose of this study is to present desirable performance measurement model and to give a weight in consideration of working-level character.

  • The safety culture of an organization is the product of individual and group values, attitudes, perceptions, competencies, and patterns of behavior that determine the commitment, the style and proficiency, and an organization's health and safety management. A good safety culture includes effective, appropriate safety management systems; strong safety leadership & commitment from management; participation and involvement of the workforce; and organizational learning and continuous improvement. This paper will introduce the safety culture inspection standards and process in Korea Railway. The main purpose is to get a better understanding of safety culture and to develop measuring tool. First of all we developed the composition factor of safety culture and the question set. And we prepared the base of computerization of safety culture measurement by developing of evaluation standards and weighted value.

모둠 구성에 따른 수학적 모델링 과정 수행 및 수학적 추론 능력 분석 (An Analysis of Mathematical Modeling Process and Mathematical Reasoning Ability by Group Organization Method)

  • 본 연구는 초등학교 5학년 학생들의 수학적 모델링 수업에서 모둠 구성 방법에 따라 수학적 모델링 과정 수행 능력과 수학적 추론 능력에 차이가 있는지 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 3가지 문제 상황으로 각각 8차시에 걸쳐 총 24차시의 수학적 모델링 수업을 설계 및 실시하였다. 그 결과 동질 모둠 보다는 이질 모둠에서 더 낳은 수학적 모델링 과정 수행 능력과 수학적 추론 능력을 보여 주었다. 본 연구 결과는 수학 수업에서 수학적 모델링을 적용할 때 모둠 구성의 관점에서 이질 모둠이 보다 효과적임을 시사한다.

  • Most internet companies in China are learning from Xiaomi Corporation's management model and to improving their organizational structures and human resource management practices. This study analyzed the development situation of Chinese Internet economy and the Internet thinking of Xiaomi which is a role model of Chinese Internet companies. In addition, we studied Xiaomi's organizational structure, human resource management, employee training, performance management and incentive system. In particular, Xiaomi's human resource management system has a great influence on the company's high performance and efficient service culture. Furthermore, the organization of Xiaomi is horizontally divided into three floors (7 key founders, department heads, and employees), each floor is managed by one founder. Xiaomi is interested in and considers not only the work of new employees, but also personal issues, and is concerned with the work of others in performance management and shares responsibility. Xiaomi adopts a unique and rational human resource management model, guaranteeing a lot of work autonomy for employees, and improving organizational performance.

Critical Factors Affecting the Adoption of Artificial Intelligence: An Empirical Study in Vietnam

  • The term "artificial intelligence" is considered a component of sophisticated technological developments, and several intelligent tools have been developed to assist organizations and entrepreneurs in making business decisions. Artificial intelligence (AI) is defined as the concept of transforming inanimate objects into intelligent beings that can reason in the same way that humans do. Computer systems can imitate a variety of human intelligence activities, including learning, reasoning, problem-solving, speech recognition, and planning. This study's objective is to provide responses to the questions: Which factors should be taken into account while deciding whether or not to use AI applications? What role do these elements have in AI application adoption? However, this study proposes a framework to explore the significance and relation of success factors to AI adoption based on the technology-organization-environment model. Ten critical factors related to AI adoption are identified. The framework is empirically tested with data collected by mail surveying organizations in Vietnam. Structural Equation Modeling is applied to analyze the data. The results indicate that Technical compatibility, Relative advantage, Technical complexity, Technical capability, Managerial capability, Organizational readiness, Government involvement, Market uncertainty, and Vendor partnership are significantly related to AI applications adoption.

An Analysis of Structural Features, Contents, and Cognitive Levels of Questions of Korea and Secondary Textbooks in the Evolution Unit

  • The purpose of this study was to seek strengths and weaknesses from analyzing Korea and U.S. science textbooks in terms of general structural features, contents, cognitive levels of questions and the purpose of questions used in science textbooks. This provided insight into improvement of textbooks that can effectively assist teaching and learning. To investigate organization of unit in textbooks in-depth, the evolution unit was selected and scrutinized as one example. The results showed that the number of pages, activities, vocabulary words, and vocabulary lists are considerably different between Korean and the U.S. Commonly, U.S. textbooks were more laden with information and lacking in coherence than those of the Korean textbooks. The findings on the cognitive levels of questions showed that the majority of questions in both nations are concerned with knowledge. However, the difference between the two nations is great in the ratios of analysis, synthesis, and evaluation questions. Questions are concentrated in review section (45% of Korean and 60.6% of U.S.) in textbooks. It suggested that well-planned questions in a review section can provide the basic guidance for strength in a science classroom.

기업조직 구성원의 기업가정신과 개인 및 집단 창의성 관계에서 조직학습지향성의 매개효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Mediating Effects of Organizational Learning Orientation on the Relationship between Entrepreneurship of Corporate Members and Individual and Group Creativity)

  • 본 연구는 기업조직 구성원의 기업가정신과 조직학습지향성, 개인창의성, 집단창의성의 관계를 실증분석하고, 그 효과를 확인함으로써, 조직차원에서 기업가정신과 창의성의 관계를 다루었다. 특히 기업가정신과 창의성의 관계에 있어서, 조직학습지향성의 매개효과 분석에 초점을 두고 있다. 문헌연구를 바탕으로 기업가정신과 개인 및 집단 창의성, 조직학습지향성의 관계를 설명함으로써 연구모형 및 가설을 설정하였다. 경북의 제조업 종사자를 대상으로 308부의 설문지를 배포·회수하여 구조방정식을 통한 실증분석을 시행하였다. 연구 결과, 기업가정신은 개인·집단창의성에 유의한 영향을 직접적으로 미치지 않고 조직학습지향성을 매개하여 영향을 주는 것이 확인되었다. 그리고 기업가정신이 조직학습지향성에 미치는 영향과 조직학습지향성이 개인·집단창의성에 미치는 영향을 확인하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 조직 차원에서 기업가정신과 조직학습지향성 효과를 파악함으로써 문화적 측면에서 조직 관리를 위한 방향성을 제공할 수 있을 것이다.
