Voltage Feedforward Control with Time-Delay Compensation for Grid-Connected Converters

  • In grid-connected converter control, grid voltage feedforward is usually introduced to suppress the influence of grid voltage distortion on the converter's grid-side AC current. However, owing to the time-delay in control systems, the suppression effect of the grid voltage distortion is seriously affected. In this paper, the positive effects of the grid voltage feedforward control are analyzed in detail, and the time-delay caused by the low-pass filter (LPF) in the voltage filtering circuits and digital control are summarized. In order to reduce the time-delay effect on the performance of the feedforward control, a voltage feedforward control strategy with time-delay compensation is proposed, in which, a leading correction of the feedforward voltage is used. The optimal leading step used in this strategy is derived from analyzing the phase-frequency characteristics of a LPF and the implementation of digital control. By using the optimal leading step, the delay in the feedforward path can be further counteracted so that the performance of the feedforward control in terms of suppressing the influence of grid voltage distortion on the converter output current can be improved. The validity of the proposed method is verified through simulation and experiment results.

중규모수치예보자료의 정량적 강수추정량 개선을 위한 인공신경망기법 (Application of Artificial Neural Network to Improve Quantitative Precipitation Forecasts of Meso-scale Numerical Weather Prediction)

  • 수문학적 예측에 있어서 강우수치예보의 활용성을 제고하기 위하여 인공신경망을 이용한 정량강수예측기법을 제시하였다. 본 연구에서는 2001년 6월과 7월, 2002년 8월의 중규모수치예보자료와 AWS의 3시간 누적강수, 상층기상관측소에서의 가강수량과 상대습도, 각 선행시간별 강수발생확률을 이용하여 각 선행시간에 따른 강수량을 예측하였다. 강수는 대기변수의 물리적 비선형조합으로 발생하기 때문에 강수에 영향을 미치는 대기변수와 관측강수사이의 비선형관계를 고려하는데 유용한 인공신경망기법을 이용하였다. 인공신경망의 구조는 전방향 다층퍼셉트론(feedforward multi-layer perceptron)을선택하였으며, 신경망의 학습 시 음의 강수모의값을 고려하여 무강수로전환하기 위하여 비선형 양극활성화함수를 사용하였다. 중규모수치예보모형과 인공신경망에서 예측된 강수량은 Nash-Sutcliffe Coefficient of Efficiency (NS-COE)와 Coefficient of Correlation (CORR)로 선행시간별로 통계분석을 실시하였다. 3시간 누적강수를 기준으로 NS는 한반도영역에서 평균적으로 선행시간이 12 hr인 경우 -0.04에서 0.31로, 선행시간이 24 hr인 경우 -0.04에서 0.38로, 선행시간이 36 hr인 경우 -0.03에서 0.33으로, 선행시간이 48 hr인 경우 -0.05에서 0.27로 증가하여, 강수예측의 정확도가 향상됨을 확인할 수 있었다.

액체 로켓 엔진에 있어서 추진제 공급 선점 시간에 따른 점화 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on Ignition Characteristic with Supply Leading Time of Propellants in Liquid Rocket Engine)

  • Experimental studies on determination of the supply leading time of propellants to combustion chamber have been made to stably and efficiently guarantee the ignitions process with liquid rocket engine. The propellant used is a Kerosene as fuel and a liquid oxygen as oxidizer. FOOF type of three injectors are set with an angle of 135。 and the combustion chamber pressure is 200psi. The present experiment program also includes the stability on the quadlet type of ignitor using the triehylaluminum (TEAL) as an ignition source. Experimental results clarifies that the propellant supply through LOx leading to combustion chamber is proper for stable ignition and combustion processes based on the fuel and oxidizer manifold pressures, combustion chamber pressure, and the variation of flame length from the nozzle exit with lapse time, and shows that the leading supply time pf propellants effects the engine performance little.

선행음 및 후속음이 음원의 방향지각에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 (A study on the effect of leading sound and following sound on sound localization)

  • 본 연구에서는 연속 마스킹과 같은 효과가 기준음보다도 선행되는 음(선행음)과 후속되는 음(후속음)이 음상정위에 미치는 영향을 레벨차 및 시간차(Inter Stimuli Interval : ISI)에 의한 변화를 청취실험을 하고 그 결과에 대하여 검토를 하였다. 기준음의 제시시간은 2ms이며 후속음 및 선행음의 제시시간은 10ms로 두었다. 제시음은 1kHz 정현파이며 좌우 귀에 도달하는 시간차(Interaural Time Difference : ITD)는 0.5ms로 두었다. 레벨차는 0, -10, -15, -20dB로 두어 제시하였다. 실험결과 선행음이 후속음보다도 음상정위에 크게 영향을 미치고 있음을 알았다. 그리고 선행음의 영향은 ISI의 값에 의존하고 ISI의 값이 작을 때 음상정위에 미치는 영향의 차가 있음을 알았다.

The complicated product is not usually constructed with one path but multi-path. By the way, in machining, higher precision and the reduction of leading and machining time is required. But, for the multi-patch sculptured surface, the amount of machining data becomes large. This means the increase of leading and machining time. In this study, the tool path generation method with reparameterization is proposed for multi-patch sculptured surface and variable step size using NURBS is used to satisfy the precision and to reduce leading and machining time.

  • Now the one of problems of digital culture contents industry in korean region is to focus only on small company in the related industry. So a plan for overcoming this is a cultivation of leading company in this industry. Thus, in this paper, we tried to make an importance level between the related industries including this leading company by the AHP analysis. For achieving the objective of this paper, first of all, this study yielded the relative importance between the industries as the quantitative values. As the result of this analysis, the important factor in this leading company is 'creation' factor and this paper proposed the basic results for cultivating the leading companies for the future time.

통계적 특징 기반 SVM을 이용한 야간 전방 차량 검출 기법 (Night Time Leading Vehicle Detection Using Statistical Feature Based SVM)

  • A driver assistance system is critical to improve a convenience and stability of vehicle driving. Several systems have been already commercialized such as adaptive cruise control system and forward collision warning system. Efficient vehicle detection is very important to improve such driver assistance systems. Most existing vehicle detection systems are based on a radar system, which measures distance between a host and leading (or oncoming) vehicles under various weather conditions. However, it requires high deployment cost and complexity overload when there are many vehicles. A camera based vehicle detection technique is also good alternative method because of low cost and simple implementation. In general, night time vehicle detection is more complicated than day time vehicle detection, because it is much more difficult to distinguish the vehicle's features such as outline and color under the dim environment. This paper proposes a method to detect vehicles at night time using analysis of a captured color space with reduction of reflection and other light sources in images. Four colors spaces, namely RGB, YCbCr, normalized RGB and Ruta-RGB, are compared each other and evaluated. A suboptimal threshold value is determined by Otsu algorithm and applied to extract candidates of taillights of leading vehicles. Statistical features such as mean, variance, skewness, kurtosis, and entropy are extracted from the candidate regions and used as feature vector for SVM(Support Vector Machine) classifier. According to our simulation results, the proposed statistical feature based SVM provides relatively high performances of leading vehicle detection with various distances in variable nighttime environments.

Effect of Blade Leading Edge Sweep on the Performance of a High Pressure Centrifugal Compressor Impeller

  • The effects of blade leading edge sweep on both the aerodynamic performance and the structure stress of a high pressure centrifugal compressor impeller are numerically investigated. Changes in the flow structure occur as a result of the effect of leading edge sweep on the loading distribution in the tip region. The flow separation is avoided by introducing a sweep of the main blade leading edge and the strength of shock is reduced at the same time. Backswept of the leading edge is found to be beneficial to the impeller performance improving. On the other hand, the structural analysis indicated that high rotating speed of the impeller will cause substantial high bending stresses and radial deflections of the blade. Studies have shown that it is possible to control the stress distribution along the tip and root of the blade by slight adjustments to the sweep angle of the leading edge. These adjustments may be used to design the impeller with lower blade root stress distribution without aerodynamics performance penalty.

국소교란이 있는 난류박리 재부착유동의 이산와류 수치해석 (Discrete Vortex Simulation of Turbulent Separated and Reattaching Flow With Local Perturbation)

  • Discrete vortex method was applied for simulating an active control of turbulent leading- edge separation bubble. The leading-edge separation zone was perturbed by a time-dependent sinusoidal perturbation of different frequencies and levels. In order to describe the local sinusoidal perturbation at the separation point, a source pulsation vortex technique was proposed. The present two-dimensional vortex simulations were qualitatively compared with the experimental results for a blunt circular cylinder, where perturbation was introduced along the square-cut leading edge of the cylinder $(Kiya et al.^{(6,7)}).$ It was found that the reattachment length attained a minimum point at low levels of perturbation and two minima at a moderate higher perturbation frequency. The effects of local perturbation on the evolution of leading-edge separation bubble were scrutinized by comparing the perturbed flow with the natural flow. These comparisons were made for the distributions of mean velocity and its velocity fluctuations, intermittency and wall velocity. The motions of instantaneous reattachment in the space-time domain were demonstrated, which were also compared with the experimental findings. In order to investigate the reduction mehanism of reattachment length in the separation bubble, various cross-correlations for velocity and pressure and the relevant convection velocities were evaluated. It was observed that the convection velocity was closely associated with its corresponding pulsationg frequency.
