This paper presents an overview of the large international projects in which the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan is involved, namely, the Subaru Telescope, Atacama Large Millimeter/submillimeter Array, and the Thirty Meter Telescope. The last section provides a brief historical view of the international collaboration in East Asia regions over the last 20 years.

Objective: The objective of this research was to estimate genetic correlations between number of piglets born alive in the first parity (NBA1), litter birth weight in the first parity (LTBW1), number of piglets weaned in the first parity (NPW1), litter weaning weight in the first parity (LTWW1), number of piglets born alive from second to last parity (NBA2+), litter birth weight from second to last parity (LTBW2+), number of piglets weaned from second to last parity (NPW2+) and litter weaning weight from second to last parity (LTWW2+), and to identify the percentages of animals (the top 10%, 25%, and 50%) for first parity and sums of second and later parity traits. Methods: The 9,830 records consisted of 2,124 Landrace (L), 724 Yorkshire (Y), 2,650 LY, and 4,332 YL that had their first farrowing between July 1989 and December 2013. The 8-trait animal model included the fixed effects of first farrowing year-season, additive genetic group, heterosis of the sow and the litter, age at first farrowing, and days to weaning (NPW1, LTWW1, NPW2+, and LTWW2+). Random effects were animal and residual. Results: Heritability estimates ranged from $0.08{\pm}0.02$ (NBA1 and NPW1) to $0.29{\pm}0.02$ (NPW2+). Genetic correlations between reproduction traits in the first parity and from second to last parity ranged from $0.17{\pm}0.08$ (LTBW1 and LTBW2+) to $0.67{\pm}0.06$ (LTWW1 and LTWW2+). Phenotypic correlations between reproduction traits in the first parity and from second to last parity were close to zero. Rank correlations between LTWW1 and LTWW2+ estimated breeding value tended to be higher than for other pairs of traits across all replacement percentages. Conclusion: These rank correlations indicated that selecting boars and sows using genetic predictions for first parity reproduction traits would help improve reproduction traits in the second and later parities as well as lifetime productivity in this swine population.

하성단구의 지형층서적 대비로 부터 최종간빙기의 구정선고도를 추정하기 위하여, 한국 동해안 강릉 남대천 유역을 대상으로, 후기 경신세 하성단구의 발달과정을 고찰하고, 단구퇴적물의 특징과 하성단구 상호간 및 충적면과의 대비 관계에 근거하여 최종간빙기의 해면변동단구를 동정한 후, 이 단구를 이용하여 당시의 해수면 고도를 추정하였다. 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 1) 강릉단구 I면은 최종간빙기의 극상기에 퇴적되었음이 밝혀졌고, 강릉단구 II면은 동 간빙기의 중기 혹은 후기에 퇴적된 것으로 편년되었다. 이 두 단구는 해면변동단구로서, 당시의 해수면은 각각 현재보다 17-20m, l0m 정도 높았던 것으로 추정된다. 2) 강릉단구와의 교차 관계, 단구퇴적물의 퇴적상 및 풍화도, 매몰곡저와의 연결관계 등으로 부터, 왕산단구 I면은 최종빙기의 전기, 그리고 II면은 최종빙기의 후기로 편년하였다. 3) 강릉단구 I면에 발달된 의사 그라이화 적색토의 형성작용은, 강릉단구 II면의 퇴적기인 최종간빙기의 중기 혹은 후기에 진행된 것으로 보인다. 일본과 달리, 연구지역에 있어서는 최종빙기 중의 아간빙기에는 적색토화 작용이 미약하였거나 진행되지 않았던 것으로 추정된다.

본고는 본격적인 게임 비평의 영역에서 발생한 루도내러티브 부조화의 개념을 정리하고 최근작 <더 라스트 오브 어스 파트2>를 대상으로 이를 구체화한다. 그 과정에서 이 게임이 루도내러티브 부조화를 적극적으로 활용하여 그동안의 게임성에 대한 정의를 넘어서는 인지적 경험을 플레이어에게 전달하고 있음을 살핀다. AAA급 게임의 전방위적인 발달과 함께 루도내러티브 부조화는 각각의 게임들이 극복해야 하는 중요한 과제로 나타나고 있는 중이다. 그러나 <더 라스트 오브 어스 파트2>는 루도내러티브 부조화를 극복하는 것보다는 더욱 드러내는 방식으로 새로운 효과를 발생시키고 있음에 주목해야 한다. <더 라스트 오브 어스 2>가 전달하는 루도내러티브 부조화에는 아이러니한 해석적 가능성의 효과들이 있다. 본고는 크게 두 가지 차원에서 부조화를 살피는데, 첫 번째는 게임 내부의 플레이-서사 구조 사이의 부조화다. <더 라스트 오브 어스 파트2>는 두 구조 사이에서 발생하는 부조화를 플레이어에게 환기시킴으로써, 플레이어가 그러한 부조화를 인지하고 전체 게임의 의미를 능동적으로 재구성할 수 있도록 유도한다. 두 번째로 게임의 내적 구조를 넘어서 게임을 플레이하는 플레이어 내부에 존재하는 인지적 부조화를 자극한다. 바로 게임성이라는 개념을 확장하여, 게임이 편의적인 자기효능감을 위한 도구 이상의 기능을 할 수 있는 가능성을 환기하는 것이다. 이처럼 루도내러티브 부조화는 게임성에 대한 더 근본적인 재정의 및 변화 가능성에 대한 문제의식의 표현이 될 수 있다.

오늘날 사람들이 도시에서 이용하는 이동 수단은 기존에 존재하던 대중교통, 승용차, 택시에서부터 공유 자전거, 공유 전동 킥보드까지 그 종류가 다양해졌다. 또한 모바일 플랫폼 기반의 검색, 주문, 결제 서비스가 개발되면서 교통 서비스 역시 플랫폼 기반의 통합 서비스로 변화하기 시작했다. 통합 이동 서비스로서 등장한 MaaS는 현재 전 세계적으로 연구 및 운영되고 있으나 기존 대중교통의 통합 제공 수준에 머무른다. 문헌 고찰 결과, 현행 수준의 MaaS에서 제기되는 First/Last Mile 문제는 새로운 이동 수단을 통합한 개선된 정책을 수립함으로써 해결 될 가능성이 있다. 따라서 본 연구는 사람들의 통행에 대한 보다 높은 분석력을 갖춘 것으로 평가되는 활동기반 교통분석모형인 ABATA 시스템을 기반으로 도시 인구의 통행 패턴을 분석하여 성공적인 MaaS 제공을 위한 First/Last Mile 이동 수단 공급 방안을 수립하고자 한다.

반도체 집적 기술의 발전은 단위 면적당 더 많은 캐쉬 메모리를 프로세서 내에 적재할 수 있도록 하였으나, 이로 인하여 프로세서는 소프트 에러에 대해 더 취약해지는 추세이며, 이는 설계 고려사항 중 신뢰성의 비중이 점점 더 커짐을 의미한다. 본 연구에서는 캐쉬 메모리 계층 중 소프트 에러에 가장 취약한 Last Level Cache에 대하여 낮은 에너지 소모와 공간 오버헤드를 갖는 저비용의 신뢰성 향상 기법에 대하여 제안하고 실험하였다. 실험 결과 소프트 에러에 대해 95.4%의 높은 에러 보호율을 보였으며, 성능은 단지 0.26%이하로 저하되었다. 또한 추가적인 에너지는 2.96%만 요구되었다.

As the result of epidemiological analysis on bovine tuberculosis in Kyonggi province during the last ten years(1987-1996), 1. The annual incidence number of bovine tuberculosis positive farms in Kyonggi province fell down from 81 in 1987 to 14 in 1989. But the incidence is increased since 1990, in 1995 the incidence number was 102 farms of the most incidence. Total number of bovine tuberculosis positive farms were 456 farms(56.7%) in Kyonggi province during the 1987-1996 period. 2. The developmental trends of bovine tuberculosis positive heads was similiar to that of positive farms. Since 1993, the incidence was suddenly increased. Total number of bovine tuberculosis positive heads were 1,015 head(64.3%) in Kyonggi province during the 10 years. 3. Average incidence for rate during the last ten years(1987-1996) was 0.10%. The positive rate was suddenly increased since 1993 and in 1996, the positive rate was 0.23% of the highest incidence. 4. Regional Incidence number of bovine tuberculosis positive heads in Kyonggi province during the last seven years(1990-1996) was the most in Hwasung, Pochon, Pyungtek in order of Incidence and bovine tuberculosis positive density was 1.297% of the highest in Buchon. 5. In 244 farms(82.4%), bovine tuberculosis first occurred during the last seven years (1990-1996) but in farms over second occurrence, the number of bovine tuberculosis positive heads were 520 heads(58.2%).

Korea has a long history in astronomy, which is proved by many observational records written in Korean chronicles. There are 43 sunspot records in Goryeo dynasty (高麗 918-1392) and 13 records in Joseon dynasty (朝鮮 1392-1910). According to analysis of Korean historical records, it is known that sunspot records in Goryeo dynasty show well in match with the well-known solar activity of 11.3 years. It means that Korean historical sunspot records show real solar phenomena. Korean sunspot records also show that solar activity decrease in Joseon dynasty compared with the previous ~500 years. In order to know the change of solar activity in detail, we examine Korean historical atmospheric records which can indicate climate change. We first analyze historical frost records. Korean chronicles have around 600 frost records during the last millennium. We find that the climate change shows sign of cooling down when check the variation of epoch that the first and last frost events in each year are written. This result is well in accord with that of historical sunspot records. Therefore, we claim that solar activity decrease during the last thousand years.

For succesful political advertisements the role of mutual communications between advertisers and their targets (i.e. voters) should be magnified, which must be based on the understanding of voter's life-style including the trends of daily life, their philosophy and attitude toward the contemporary matters. During the campaign period for the last parliamentry election the most important issue was nothing but who could be the best representer of their region without any political considerations compared to previous election and the decision made by voters has been evaluated as one of most brilliant ones so far. One thing to note from the last election is that many new faces have been high lighted and that could not have been possible if they could not differentiate their campaign from one of unchanged senior politicians by calling more attentions of voters to them by scrutinizing competitors' election pledges. The differentiation strategy in election campaigns is basically detecting small signs of changes in voters life\ulcornerstyle, bringing them into relief and provoking voters attentions to the election and advertiser. In this sense niche marketing strategy is the differentiating strategy itself and it can be a useful guide in political advertisement for the triumph of advertiser in elections as well as for heathy and fresh political environments on the basis increased attentions of voters. In this paper, aiming at further development of the niche marketing in political advertisements we propose questions whether the niche marketing in the last parliamentary election was introduced on the basis of concept of differentation by analysing last election's strategies targeted at voters specific dispositions.
