  • Graphene has attracted the interest of many researchers due to various its advantages such as high mobility, high transparency, and strong mechanical strength. However, large-area graphene is grown at high temperatures of about 1,000 ℃ and must be transferred to various substrates for various applications. As a result, transferred graphene shows many defects such as wrinkles/ripples and cracks that happen during the transfer process. In this study, we address transfer-free, large-scale, and high-quality monolayer graphene. Monolayer graphene was grown at low temperatures on Ti (10nm)-buffered Si (001) and PET substrates via plasma-assisted thermal chemical vapor deposition (PATCVD). The graphene area is small at low mTorr range of operating pressure, while 4 × 4 ㎠ scale graphene is grown at high working pressures from 1.5 to 1.8 Torr. Four-inch wafer scale graphene growth is achieved at growth conditions of 1.8 Torr working pressure and 150 ℃ growth temperature. The monolayer graphene that is grown directly on the Ti-buffer layer reveals a transparency of 97.4 % at a wavelength of 550 nm, a carrier mobility of about 7,000 ㎠/V×s, and a sheet resistance of 98 W/□. Transfer-free, large-scale, high-quality monolayer graphene can be applied to flexible and stretchable electronic devices.

  • In recent years, the growing interest in off-site construction has led to factories scaling up their manufacturing and production processes in the construction sector. Consequently, continuous large-scale site monitoring in low-variability environments, such as prefabricated components production plants (precast concrete production), has gained increasing importance. Although many studies on computer vision-based site monitoring have been conducted, challenges for deploying this technology for large-scale field applications still remain. One of the issues is collecting and transmitting vast amounts of video data. Continuous site monitoring systems are based on real-time video data collection and analysis, which requires excessive computational resources and network traffic. In addition, it is difficult to integrate various object information with different sizes and scales into a single scene. Various sizes and types of objects (e.g., workers, heavy equipment, and materials) exist in a plant production environment, and these objects should be detected simultaneously for effective site monitoring. However, with the existing object detection algorithms, it is difficult to simultaneously detect objects with significant differences in size because collecting and training massive amounts of object image data with various scales is necessary. This study thus developed a large-scale site monitoring system using edge computing and a small-object detection system to solve these problems. Edge computing is a distributed information technology architecture wherein the image or video data is processed near the originating source, not on a centralized server or cloud. By inferring information from the AI computing module equipped with CCTVs and communicating only the processed information with the server, it is possible to reduce excessive network traffic. Small-object detection is an innovative method to detect different-sized objects by cropping the raw image and setting the appropriate number of rows and columns for image splitting based on the target object size. This enables the detection of small objects from cropped and magnified images. The detected small objects can then be expressed in the original image. In the inference process, this study used the YOLO-v5 algorithm, known for its fast processing speed and widely used for real-time object detection. This method could effectively detect large and even small objects that were difficult to detect with the existing object detection algorithms. When the large-scale site monitoring system was tested, it performed well in detecting small objects, such as workers in a large-scale view of construction sites, which were inaccurately detected by the existing algorithms. Our next goal is to incorporate various safety monitoring and risk analysis algorithms into this system, such as collision risk estimation, based on the time-to-collision concept, enabling the optimization of safety routes by accumulating workers' paths and inferring the risky areas based on workers' trajectory patterns. Through such developments, this continuous large-scale site monitoring system can guide a construction plant's safety management system more effectively.

So, this research was examined the effect that the retailer was affected and its correspondence strategy First this research examined how the government restricted a large-scale stores in 2009 earlier and then this research analyzed how the Japan and France restricted it. Second this research examined that a new establishment and business hours change of a large-scale stores. Bacause of a small trader resistance in 2009 latter. Finally it analyzed the effect that a retail industry was affected in the future. bacause law was enforced. On the basis these things, a victim remedy was presented by retailers view. Bacause of international law and an excess regulation. Also, this research suggest that large retailer should expand a overse market and increase retailers private brand component ratio and develop overse brand. Finally this research also suggest that trader and retailer should continue to coperate and turn business direction into franchise system.

  • Large-eddy simulations of the flow around a circular cylinder at a Reynolds number, based on cylinder diameter and free-stream velocity, $Re_D=2{\times}10^4$ are presented. Three different dynamic subgrid-scale models are used, viz. the dynamic eddy-viscosity model and two different mixed two-parameter models. The sensitivity to grid refinement in the spanwise and radial directions is systematically investigated. For the highest resolution considered, the effects of subgrid-scale modeling are also discussed in detail. In particular, it is shown that SGS modeling has a significant influence on the low-frequency modulations of the aerodynamics loads, which are related to significant changes in the near wake structure.

  • The present study details air pollution measurements in the Yellow Sea of East Asia. Large-scale air pollution was observed through satellite images and ground monitors in Chongju-Chongwon of central Korea. Evidence of a duststorm transport and resulting dustfall from the Gobi Desert in north China and Mongolia is shown. Also, transport of anthropogenic air pollutants from China to the Yellow Sea, Korea, and Japan was detected and discussed. It was found that the level of air pollution concentrations at a regional back-ground site increased 2 ∼ 4 times than the values observed with the relatively clean air, when massive air pollution from China moved to the Korean Peninsula. Satellite measurements will be useful for monitoring regional- and global-scale air pollution in the future.

  • The meshless adaptive method based on multiple scale analysis is developed to simulate large deformation problems. In the procedure, new particles are simply added to the orginal particle distribution because meshless methods do not require mesh structures in the formulations. The high scale component of the approximated solution detects the localized region where a refinement is needed. The high scale component of the second invariant od Green-Lagrangian strain tensor is suggested as the new high gradient detector for adaptive procedures. The feasibility of the proposed theory is demonstrated by a numerical experiment for the large deformation of hyperelastic materials.

  • In this paper an approximate solution method for the large-scale Traveling Salesman Problem (TSP) is presented. The method starts with the subdivision of the problem domain into a number of cluster by considering their geometric characteristic. Each cluster has a limited number of nodes so as to get a local solution. They are linked go give the least pathe which covers the whole domain and become TSPs solution with start-and end-node. The approximate local solution in each cluster are obtained based on geometrical properties of the cluster, and combined to give an overall approximate solution for the larte-scale TSP.

  • The principal objective of this study was to develop a standardized recipe for the large-scale production of Salbob and Ogokbob. The recipe was standardized as follows: we collected and recorded the amount of ingredients and production procedures currently being used by cooks in the contracted foodservice management company and hotel-based Korean restaurants. According to the food preferences of Koreans, we selected 2 kinds of rice; Salbob and Ogokbob. We developed a revised recipe and an evaluation form. We conducted a sensory evaluation with 30 panels, using a JAR (just-about-right) scale. We developed a standardized recipe for both kinds of rice. Yield, portion size, temperature, preparation time, equipment, cost, ingredients, weight of ingredients, method, and critical point were all components accounted for in the developed recipe. The factor method and the percentage method were proposed techniques for adjusting the recipe, and a direct measurement table for Salbob and Ogokbob was also devised.

  • In wireless sensor networks, the transmission success ratio would be decreased when the scale of the WSNs increased. To defeat this problem, we propose a multipath routing based on opportunistic routing for improving end-to-end reliability in large-scale wireless sensor networks. The proposed scheme exploits the advantages of existing opportunistic routing and achieves high end-to-end success ratio by branching like a multipath routing through local decision without information of the whole network. As a result of the simulation result, the proposed scheme shows a similar or higher end-to-end transmission success ratio and less energy consumption rather than the existing scheme.

  • Large container carriers are suffering from lack of knowledge on reliable correlation allowances between model tests and full-scale trials, especially at fully loaded condition, Careful full-scale sea trial with a full loading of containers both in holds and on decks was carried out to clarify it. Model test results were analyzed by different methods but with the same measuring data to figure out appropriated correlations factors for each analysis methods, Even if it is no doubt that model test technique is one of the most reliable tool to predict full scale powering performance, its assumptions and simplifications which have been applied on the course of data manipulation and analysis need a feedback from sea trial data for a fine tuning, so called correlation factor. It can be stated that the best correlation allowances at fully loaded condition for both 2-dimensional and 3-dimensional analysis methods are fecund through the careful sea trial results and relevant study on the large size container carriers.
