To reduce these costs and time by finite element analysis program has been much research (3~4). At virtual CAE program as like Abaques, Ansys, Ls-dyna and Nastran, the input data of material is got bellow coupon test. In case of carbon composite, it is also put in lamina/laminate properties. There have big problem. If you want to simulate FW(filament winding or wind blade) how do you input material data. Each area of FW is different stacking conditions. It's too hard that each area is tested for inputting lamina or laminate properties. The composite structure increasing load is applied occurred as the matrix dependence of the crack-induced nonlinearity and nonlinear mobility appears since the initial damage. And uni-direction for this research applies the theory to have been confined to. On this study, we are going to get basically fiber properties and matrix than carbon composite properties for simulating according stacking method by GENOA-MCQ. It is help to simulate easily composite material. Also Calculate the matrix nonlinear for simulating non-linear.
High wear resistances are obtained with an additional coating of the surface of the decor film in the same operation of impregnating with low viscosity melamine resin by liquid overlay system. The cellulosic fibers have a good adhesion to the corundum particles and keep them sufficiently homogeneous in the blend with the resin. The amount of these fibers in nearly as big as it is in a common overlay in relation to the resin. Therefore these fibers keep the resin inside during the press process and consequently very the surface of the decor print of the film. That means that the corundum particles are equally dissipated throughout the entire layer over the decor. The change of the color of the print is nearly not visible as the particles are almost equally dissipated. Looking to the flooring purposes of liquid overlay one can see that by the lesser exposure of the corundum particles on the very surface, there is no longer an abrasive surface but a feeling like a normal melamine surface.

The flow stresses have been identified prior to a numerical simulation for predicting a deformation of materials using the experimental or analytical analysis. Recently, the flow stress models considering the temperature effect have been developed to reduce the number of experiments. Artificial neural network can provide a simple procedure for solving a problem from the analytical models. The objective of this paper is the prediction of flow stress on the fiber metal laminate using the artificial neural network. First, the training data were obtained by conducting the uniaxial tensile tests at the various temperature conditions. After, the artificial neural network has been trained by Levenberg-Marquardt method. The numerical results of the trained model were compared with the analytical models predicted at the previous study. It is noted that the artificial neural network can predict flow stress effectively as compared with the previously-proposed analytical models.
The objective of this work is to predict the failure loads, associated maximum transverse displacements, locations and the modes of failure, including the onset of delamination, of thin, flat, square symmetric laminates under the action of uni-axial compression. Two progressive failure analyses, one using Hashin criterion and the other using Tensor polynomial criteria, are used in conjunction with the finite element method. First order shear deformation theory and geometric nonlinearity in the von Karman sense have been employed. Five different types of lay-up sequence are considered for laminates with all edges simply supported. In addition, two boundary conditions, one with all edges fixed and other with mixed boundary conditions for $(+45/-45/0/90)_{2s}$ quasi-isotropic laminate have also been considered to study the effect of boundary restraints on the failure loads and the corresponding modes of failure. A comparison of linear and nonlinear results is also made for $({\pm}45/0/90)_{2s}$ quasi-isotropic laminate. It is observed that the maximum difference between the failure loads predicted by various criteria depend strongly on the laminate lay-ups and the flexural boundary restraints. Laminates with clamped edges are found to be more susceptible to failure due to the transverse shear and delamination, while those with the simply supported edges undergo total collapse at a load slightly higher than the fiber failure load.

This research work has been carried out for finding J-integral in mode II of CFRP(carbon fiber reinforced plastics) laminate plates based on the classical bar theory in dynamic conditions with consideration of the effect of inertia forces, eventually to lead to finding the dynamic inter-layer fracture toughness. Dynamic inter-layer fracture toughness was found by a self-made ENF(End Notched Flexure) experimental apparatus using Split Hopkinson's Bar(SHPB), and also observed the variation of the fracture toughness haying different resin contents and fiber arrangements of CFRP specimen([$0_3^{\circ}/90_3^{\circ}/0_6^{\circ}/90_3^{\circ}/0_3^{\circ}$], [$0_{20}^{\circ}$], [$0_5^{\circ}/90_{10}^{\circ}/0_5^{\circ}$]). As an experimental result, in either cases of quasi-static or dynamic load condition, the critical load and the inter-layer fracture toughness increased sharply depending on the increase of resin contents. Therefore, it could, be concluded that the effect by resin contents is the major factor determining the inter-layer fracture toughness in the CFRP laminate plates.
In the present study, according to the important of porosity in low specific weight in comparison of high stiffness of carbon nanotubes reinforced composite, buckling and free vibration analysis of sandwich composite beam in two configurations, of laminates using differential quadrature method (DQM) is studied. Also, the effects of porosity coefficient and three types of porosity distribution on critical buckling load and natural frequency are discussed. It is shown the buckling loads and natural frequencies of laminate 1 are significantly larger than the results of laminate 2. When configuration 2 (the core is made of FRC) and laminate 1 ([0/90/0/45/90]s) are used, the first natural frequency rises noticeably. It is also demonstrated that the influence of the core height in the case of lower carbon volume fractions is negligible. Even though, when volume fraction of fiber increases, the critical buckling load enhances smoothly. It should be noticed the amount of decline has inverse relationship with the beam aspect ratio. Investigating three porosity patterns, beam with the distribution of porosity Type 2 has the maximum critical buckling load and first natural frequency. Among three elastic foundations (constant, linear and parabolic), buckling load and natural frequency in linear variation has the least amount. For all kind of elastic foundations, when the porosity coefficient increases, critical buckling load and natural frequency decline significantly.

A procedure of stress and strength analysis has been proposed for the centrifuge rotor of composite materials of quasi-isotropic laminates. The goal in this study is to maximize the allowable rotating speed, that is, to minimize maximum strength ratio with the given path length by changing the geometric parameter-outer radius and ply angles in quasi-isotropic laminates. Optimum values of the geometric parameter-outer radius and ply angles are obtained by multilevel optimization. All the geometric dimensions and stresses are normalized such that the result can be extended to a general case. Two dimensional analysis at each cross section with an elliptic tube hole subjected to internal hydrostatic pressures by samples as well as the centrifugal body forces has been performed along the height to calculate the stress distribution with the plane stress assumption, and Tsai-Wu failure criterion is used to calculate the strength ratio. The maximum allowable rotating speed can be increased by changing the radii of the outer surface along the height with the maximum strength ratio under the unit value : The optimal number of ply angles maximizing the allowable rotating speed in quasi-isotropic laminates is found to be the half number of tube hole, and the optimal laminate rotation angle is the half of $[{\pi}/m]$. A $[{\pi}/3]$ laminate, for instance, is stronger than a $[{\pi}/4]$ laminate for the centrifuge rotor of 6 tube hole number even though they have the same stiffness.
In this paper, the behavior of woven E-glass fabric composite laminate was experimentally investigated under quasi-static indentation and high velocity impact by flat-ended, hemispherical, conical (cone angle of $37^{\circ}$ and $90^{\circ}$) and ogival (CRH of 1.5 and 2.5) cylindrical perforators. Moreover, the results are compared in order to explore the possibility of extending quasi-static indentation test results to high velocity impact test results in different characteristics such as perforation mechanisms, performance of perforators, energy absorption, friction force, etc. The effects of perforator nose shape, nose length and nose-shank connection shapes were investigated. The results showed that the quasi-static indentation test has a great ability to predict the high velocity impact behavior of the composite laminates especially in several characteristics such as perforation mechanisms, perforator performance. In both experiments, the highest performance occurs for 2.5 CRH projectile and the lowest is related to blunt projectiles. The results show that sharp perforators indicate lower values of dynamic enhancement factor and the flat-ended perforator represents the maximum dynamic enhancement factor among other perforators. Moreover, damage propagation far more occurred in high velocity impact tests then quasi-static tests. The highest damage area is mostly observed in ballistic limit of each projectile which projectile deviation strongly increases this area.
In this research, damage behavior of singly oriented ply (SOP) fiber metal laminate (FML) subject to concentrated load was studied. The static indentation tests were conducted to study fiber orientation effect on damage behavior of FML. During the static indentation tests, Acoustic Emission technique (AE) was adopted to study damage characteristics of FML. AE signals were obtained by using AE sensor with 150kHz resonance frequency and the signals were compared with indentation curves of FML. As fiber orientation angle increases, the crack initiation load of SOP FML increases because the stiffness induced by fiber orientation is increased. The penetration load of SOP FML is influenced by the deformation tendency and boundary conditions. Cumulative AE counts were well predicted crack initiation and crack propagation and AE amplitude were useful for prediction of damage failure mode. During the matrix cracking, fiber debonding and fiber breakage, AE amplitude has $45{\sim}60dB,\;60{\sim}80dB\;and\;90{\sim}100dB$, respectively.
Recently, development of a small aircraft has been carried out for the BASA(Bilateral Aviation Safety Agreement) program in Korea. This aircraft adopted all composite structures for environmental friendly by low fuel consumption due to its lightness behavior. However the composite structure has disadvantage which is very weak against impact damages. Therefore, damage allowable design of aircraft structure must be performed considering compressive fracture strength. This point is very important for certification of composite structure aircraft. In this paper, it is performed the research on damage tolerance of thick laminate adopting aircraft structure. The damage tolerance of three different types of thick laminates such as no damage, open hole and impact damage is evaluated under compression loading.
