국민학교 아동의 편식에 대한 실태조사 - 서울시내 일부지역 아동을 대상으로 - (A Survey on the One-Sided Dietary Habit of Primary School Children)

  • In this study was made a survey of the dietary habit with too many likes and dislikes (one-sided dietary habit) of first grade primary school children on 1098 primary school children, in an attempt to provide data for an efficient nutrition management for children. The results of the survey were interpreted in term of the standard of education and the state of employment of the children's mothers, the standard of living, sex, the number of sibling, the order of birth, whether or not living together with grandmother, and the breast feeding period. From the results of this study it seems that the overprotection by mothers leads the children to one-sided dietary habit. The mothers listed the lack of nutrition knowledge and the lack of efforts for meal management as major reasons for that they failed to help their children form a good dietary habits.

경기북부지역 섬유업체 구직을 위한 교육수강생의 현황분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on Status Analysis of Students for Employment in Textile Industry in the Northern Region of Gyeonggi-do)

  • This paper investigated and analyzed the status of students for jobs in textile industry for proposing the basic data for more effective labor supply to textile industry in northern region of Gyeonggi-do. The survey was conducted with 55 students in the middle aged class living in northern region of Gyeonggi-do who participated in the field practice education program related to industry business from April to June, 2013. The analysis results are described as below. For the satisfaction on the curriculum, 45.5% of the subjects showed the highest satisfaction on the education program. 65.5% desired the full-time employment in the textile business after the education. 78.2% of the subjects agreed that the education program for helping employment and recruitment in textile industry was the essential project in the current reality when there is a serious lack of field workers. Significant number of subjects answered that the education program should be implemented through the academy and business cooperation between the relevant departments in colleges and textile business. Although the subjects in this paper were very limited, the survey results would be important data to prepare the approach for improving the supply and demand of labor in textile business in the future as well as the starting point for a project to create new jobs for middle-aged women in the Northern region of Gyeonggi-do.

구직과 구인, 취업참여의 지역간 차이 (Regional Difference of the Job Search, the Job Offer and the Taking a Job)

  • 지역마다 성별, 연령별, 교육수준별 인적자본의 구조가 서로 상이하기 때문에 지역의 노동공급은 차이를 보인다. 또한 지역마다 산업구조와 인구학적 구조의 특성이 다르기 때문에 지역의 노동수요 또한 차이를 지닌다. 비수도권, 특히 산업구조가 취약한 호남권과 강원권, 제주권은 경기변동에 따라 구직자(노동공급)와 구인자(노동수요), 취업자 수의 변화가 많았다. 수도권은 구직자의 증가와 구인자의 감소에도 불구하고 취업조건과 고용조건의 일치로 취업률은 증가하였다. 이에 반해 비수도권, 특히 영남권과 호남권은 구직자의 감소와 구인자의 증가에도 불구하고 두 조건의 불일치로 취업률은 오히려 감소하였다. 서울권은 모든 인구집단에서 취업률이 높았으며 경인권과 영남권은 고졸자의 취업기회는 많았으나 취업률은 저조하였다. 서울권은 모든 직종에서 취업률이 높았으며 경인권과 영남권은 취업기회가 많은 기능직에서 취업조건과 고용조건의 불일치로 취업률은 낮았다. 그리고 취업기반이 취약한 강원권과 호남권, 제주권은 모든 인구집단과 직종에서 취업기회 및 취업률이 저조하였다.

전자상거래 무역상 창업의도 결정요인 (The Antecedents of Entrepreneurial Intention for being E-commerce Trade)

  • There is a growing interest on entrepreneurship for undergraduate students to enhance their employment ratio because they have big difficulty in getting a job in Korea as well as Vietnam. Currently, on-line business is booming because customers feel convenience in approaching on-line store. Therefore, this study has explored identifying the factors to affect entrepreneurial intention of being e-commerce trader for the undergraduates in Korean universities as well as Vietnam universities. In addition to this, the study has also investigated the difference of the results between Korea and Vietnam. The results of the study are as follows ; First, entrepreneurial knowledge affects positively on entrepreneurial intention for being e-commerce trader. Second, employment barrier also affects positively on entrepreneurial intention for being e-commerce trader. Third, social perception on entrepreneurship mediates the relationship between employment barrier and entrepreneurial intention for being e-commerce trader. Lastly, the level of entrepreneurial intention for vietnam undergraduate students shows higher than that of Korean undergraduate students. Since there was lack of recognition as to the importance for entrepreneurial intention of being e-commerce trader in Korea, Korean government can refer to the results of this survey and implement the related policies to enhance related entrepreneurial intention. This indicates that when it comes to the establishment of new ventures in Korea, entrepreneurial education has been the focus of interest such as making business plan, setting up strategy, marketing the products etc. In this regard, this research is expected to be used for the development for the future policies to boost youth entrepreneurship in Korea.

치과위생사의 이직결정에 영향을 미치는 요인에 관한 연구 (The study on determinants for changing employment positions among dental hygienists)

  • Purpose: This study sought to identify factors associated with dental hygienists' decisions to leave one dental office and commence practice in another. In addition to, the reasons dental hygienists stay in the profession were investigated. Demographic descriptors, including education level, marital status and age, and employment setting were also examined. Methods: Currently practicing dental hygienists in Korea were surveyed from March to May 2003. Data were collected through a questionnaire. The survey collected information concerning the 461 respondents' personal characteristics and reasons associated with changing positions and staying. Data were analyzed using frequency distributions, independent t-tests and chi-square analyses. All statistical analyses were conducted using the Statistical Package for Social Scientists(SPSS v.10, Chicago, Illinois). Results: The primary reasons for taking up another employment were found to be better offer, inadequate salary and personal conflict with dentist. Secondary reasons stated for changing their job revealed additional factors including inadequate salary, better offer, and lack of benefits. The primary influence in deciding to remaining in the practice of dental hygiene was self-development. Family responsibility, safe environment and professional collaboration were also important factors in deciding to remain in workforce. Conclusion: The position changes of dental hygienists are primarily influenced by better offer. Inadequate salary and conflict with dentist were also important factors in deciding to change employment positions. The findings suggest that dental hygienists who remain in the workforce are positively influenced mainly by self-development. Employers of dental hygienists should be aware of these factors in employing process. If more hygienists could remain longer in their positions, the manpower situation would be affected positively.

근로시간 단축의 고용효과 분석: 기업규모별 추정을 중심으로 (Analysis on Employment Effects of Working Hours Reduction with the Emphasis of Industry Size)

  • 본 연구는 우리나라 법정 근로시간 단축이 실 근로시간에 미친 영향과 실 근로시간 단축이 고용에 미친 영향을 패널 자료를 이용하여 추정하였다. 2004년부터 규모별로 순차적으로 적용된 점을 이용하여 추정한 결과 주당 1시간의 법정 근로시간 단축이 주당 실 근로시간을 약 0.44~1.05시간 단축시킨 것으로 추정되었다. 한편, 실 근로시간 단축의 고용효과는 규모별로 상이한 결과가 도출되었다. 이러한 상이한 결과는 소규모의 경우 외국인 근로자가 반영되지 않은 자료의 한계에 기인한 것을 포함하여 다양한 이유에 기인한 것으로 여겨져 추가적인 연구가 필요하다. 또한 사업체 규모별로 다르게 추정된 결과는 실 근로시간 단축의 고용효과가 일률적이지 않을 수 있음을 보여준다 할 수 있다.

대학생의 취업스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인 -신체증상, 우울, 불안, 자아존중감을 중심으로- (Affecting Factors in Unemployment Stress among College Students -Focused on Physical Symptoms, Depression, Anxiety and Self-esteem-)

  • 본 연구는 대학생들이 지각하는 신체증상, 우울, 불안, 자아존중감과 취업 스트레스와의 상관관계를 알아본 후 취업스트레스에 영향을 주는 요인을 포괄적으로 규명하기 위하여 시행되었다. 연구 결과 여성, 고학년, 낮은 대학생활 만족도, 여가활동 부족, 취업준비 불만족, 취업고민을 공유할 사람 부재 시 그렇지 않은 경우보다 취업스트레스가 높은 것으로 나타났다. 대학생의 우울, 불안과 신체건강은 취업스트레스와 양의 상관관계가 있었고, 자아존중감은 취업스트레스와 음의 상관관계가 있었다. 회귀분석결과 4학년일수록, 우울할수록 취업스트레스가 높았으며 자아존중감이 높을수록, 남성일수록, 취업준비 만족도가 높을수록 취업스트레스가 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 취업준비 프로그램은 취업 정보 제공과 함께 자아존중감을 높일 수 있는 전략이 포함되어야 할 것이다.

제조업의 국제화가 국내고용에 미치는 영향에 관한 연구 : 일본제조업 사례를 중심으로 (Impact of Internationalization of Manufacturing Industries on the Domestic Labor Market: The Japanese Manufacturing Industry)

  • Purpose - This study aims to seek various plans to maintain the advancement of the overseas and domestic employment scenario through a case analysis of the Japanese industry, which maintains domestic employment while promoting the overseas advancement of companies despite having a similar industrial structure as Korea. The study further intends to derive insightful implications for Japanese manufacturing companies and government policies. Research design, data, and methodology - We selected four companies from the Japanese manufacturing industry. Being companies that were successful in increasing the domestic employment scenario while advancing in overseas markets. We utilized several secondary data sources including Japanese newspapers and report literature. Results - Previous studies have shown a negative relationship between Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) or offshoring and domestic employment. However, our results showed this relationship with respect to the Japanese manufacturing industry as follows: 1. FDI for developing overseas markets does not decrease domestic production. If Japanese companies change their strategy from exports to overseas production, there will be a consequent decrease in domestic employment of Multinational Enterprises (MNEs). However, the local production that plans the sales expansion of a foreign market does not substitute domestic production. 2. Several case studies illustrate that, as the production of final goods is expanded in foreign countries, there is a corresponding increase in the export of intermediary goods from Japan. In this case, if the production process of Japanese companies is promoted in foreign markets, the amount of exported material and parts from Japan will consequently increase. 3. It is difficult to consider that the establishment of subsidiary companies in foreign countries by manufacturing companies for wholesale, retail, and services decreases domestic employment. This is because the international development of these industries needs expatriates, expatriate training organizations, and research and development (R&D) activities. 4. When there is overseas demand, the growth of local management activities is expected to increase the work of the overseas business department in the head office in Japan, if competitiveness can be secured for better localization and management speed. 5. The conversion of the domestic manufacturing industry into high value-added production is necessary. The relocation of domestic production to foreign markets decreases domestic employment. To prevent this, the upgradation of domestic production bases, including high value-added production, and R&D capability need to be strengthened. Technology-based companies must develop new technology, patents, processes, and so forth, which require extensive human resources for R&D. Conclusions - Domestic medium-sized companies that are capable of consistently supplying high value-added products should be actively encouraged to deploy into and develop overseas markets. Further, this paper considers the necessity of a guidance policy that provides suggestions for overseas deployment, by the initiation of the government, to companies that cannot do so due to the lack of foreign experience or decisions by the CEO, despite having the relevant capability and technologies to supply high value-added products.

스포츠 재활 교육이 심리적 반발을 통해 진로 및 취업 의지에 미치는 영향 (The impact of sports rehabilitation education on career and employment will through psychological resistance)

  • 한국의 교육 생태계로 인해 성적에 따라 스포츠 재활 전공에 진학한 학생들이 학과에 적응하고, 진로를 찾고, 취업 의지를 갖도록 동기 부여 등 새로운 균형을 모색해야 하는 중대한 시점이나 관련 연구가 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구의 목적은 스포츠 재활 교육이 심리적 반발을 통해 진로 및 취업 의지에 미치는 영향을 확인하기 위함이다. 연구 방법으로 스포츠 재활을 전공하는 대학생을 대상으로 2023년 12월 11일부터 12월 28일까지 온라인 설문을 실시하였으며, 최종 212부의 설문지가 회수되어 분석에 사용되었다. 연구 결과, 첫째, 스포츠 재활 교육자의 지식이 자발적 심리에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 스포츠 재활 교육자의 역량이 자발적 심리에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 스포츠 재활 교육자의 역량이 비자발적 심리에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 자발적 심리가 진로 의지에 긍정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 다섯 번째, 자발적 심리가 취업 의지에 긍정적인 영향을 주며, 반대로 비자발적 심리가 취업 의지에 부정적인 영향을 주는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구 결과는 심리적 반발을 통해 진로 및 취업 의지에 영향을 줄 수 있는 전공 교육 개발에 기여할 것으로 기대된다.

노숙자의 삶의 경험 - 시설 노숙자를 중심으로 - (The Life Experiences of the Sheltered Homeless)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study is to describe the psychological aspects of experiences of men living in a homeless shelter in Seoul. This study focused on understanding about the life of the homeless in the shelter by Phenomenological method. Method: The participants in this study were seven men who are living in a homeless shelter in Seoul. The following data were collected though the in-depth interviews and analyzed by the Phenomenological analytic method of Giorgi. Result: There are five focal significances about the life of the homeless. (1) Unplanned Life : Difficult life comes from outside situation, Freedom, The acceptance of unconsciousness life, Laziness, Unreliability, The dissolute life, No purpose to life, Relying on drinking, (2) Self-rationalization : Feeling of defeat, Give up, Desire for a support system, Lack of willingness, Anxiety, Chivalry, Falsehoods, (3) Superficial Interpersonal Relationships : Ignorance, Pressure, Discord, Hiding from one anther, avoidance. (4) A sense of devestation : Negative perspective, Mental weakness, Difficulties in employment, ambivalance with social structure, The place to escape, Complaining against the opposite sex, Sense of regret, Lack of relationship with family, The lack of self-confidence, Loss of volition (5) The Hope of new life : Realization, Desire for change, Dreaming of married life, Dependence in God Conclusion: The conclusion of this study shows that the men in the shelter had various psychological reasons for being in the homeless shelter. Further studies need to be done to validate this information and formulate ways to assist these men with their psychological needs.
