세계화 속의 성의 격차 (Gender Gap in Globalization of Korea)

  • The Purpose or this research is to examine the trend or sender gap within a globalization context from 1993 to 2003 on the perspective of feminists who contend that globalization has negative effects on women on account of its masculine nature against neo-liberal viewpoint emphasizing economic efficiency and rationality. As the result of review of statistical and qualitative resources in workforce, it was found that the gender gap has trended toward increasing in some sectors such as flexible labor and high wage jobs, which shows that gender segregation by irrational culture exists in workforce. The evidence to support the neo-liberal viewpoint supposing that the gender discrimination will disappear was also found in sector of wage. The gender gap in wage has decreased during the period of globalization. The dispute of feminists was partly supported, so it was suggested that the policies for gender empowerment should be enforced to diminish gender gap that would be able to increase in the process of globalization.

Because the hotel needs a high-grade cook for keep competitive in changing surround. internal resources are more effect ive when require without delay man power than hire urgent. It is not only lack career development to cook, probably face up to retirement at one time and foment social order but also cook lose their a right to labor. Cook supports their family and grow, economic base for ethical by labor, so have to carry their point. In addition the domestic five stars hotel's career development structure are very simple and infirm, so it cause stagnation to position, lead to negative vision and show a drop in efficiency. Therefore the hotel must investment about Career Development.

부산거주 취업주부의 가족생활에 관한 실태조사 (Family Life of Dual Earmer Wives in Pusan)

  • This study explores the overall attitudes of family life used data from dual-earner wives(N=773) who contribute to household economics. The major hypothesis of this study is that employed wives are more likely to be equal in performing their roles at home than full-time homemakers. However, a pattern of asymmetry exists concerning the role performance of wives regardless of their employment The specific findings are as follows : (1) Wives indicate the instrumental and the dual(mixed the traditional value with the developmental value) perceptions of marriage. (2) It is not equal in the distribution of family resources and the procedure of decision-making among couples. (3) The household labor is mainly performed by wives. (4) Wives are mainly responsible for child-rearing and indicate the inconsistent perception of mothering From the findings study suggests that : (1) Future research might investigate the reason of low family contribution among employed wives (2) The egalitarianism (role sharing) in household labor and child rearing might be extended. 93) women might be educated to pursue an independent life.

소득이전의 빈곤완화 및 빈곤이행 효과에 관한 연구 (The Effect of Income Transfer on Poverty Rate)

  • The primary purpose of this study is to analyze the decreasing effect of public and private income transfers on poverty rate. Two year data of Korean Labor and Income Panel Study (KLIPS, 1998, 1999) are used for the analysis, and 1/2 of median income and 1/3 of mean income are adopted to measure poverty rate. Although private income transfer contributes more to reduce the rate than the public transfer, the main effect for decreasing poverty rate is forced by the wage. Statistically significant variables that affect to the exit of poverty based on the logistic regression analysis are number of family members(-), wage(+), property income(+), social insurance benefit(+), and the transfer income(+). Therefore, the future policy should be more related with the active labor market policy for developing better human resources among the poor family.

한.중간 수산업분야 경제협력 필요성에 관한 연구 (A Study for Necessity of Sino - Korean Joint Cooperation in Fisheries Business)

  • Since the last decade, the fisheries industry in Korea has faced many difficulties in terms of comparative economic advantage partly because of marine environmental damage caused by Pollution and coastal reclamation, and partly because of too expensive production factors like labor. In addition, new order of world trade created by Uruguay Round will force the Korean fisheries industry to prepare some remedies including a joint-venture business with China for international compatativeness. As a result, this paper mainly deals with an analysis on feasibility of Sino-Korean joint cooperation in fisheries business. Especially, the Shandong Province in China is expected to take advantage of its geographical proximity to Koreas well as of its abundance in marine natural resources in order to achieve a fast economic growth. Thus, for the next decade to come, it would be very important for the Korean fisheries industry to cope with the international fisheries market by the Sino-Korean joint-venture combining the capital and technology from Korea with the cheap labor and favorable marine environment for aquaculture from China.

국내 스마트양식 기술 동향 (Domestic Smart Aqua-farming Technology)

  • A stable protein source is required to support the rapidly increasing global population, and fishery products are a particularly important part of the required protein supply. However, due to continued overfishing, fishery resources are depleted, and the number of fish caught by fishing boats has stagnated. Consequently, the aquaculture industry is becoming increasingly important. Internationally, smart aquaculture technology that minimizes labor and environmental pollution has been established through technological developments supported by large investments in automation and water treatment technology over the last several decades. In the case of Korea, the aquaculture industry has not yet emerged as a labor-intensive primary industry. However, in recent years various attempts have been made to apply ICT technology to aquaculture to overcome these problems. In this study, domestic and foreign technologies and patent trends for smart aquaculture are analyzed. In addition, the current status of the smart aquaculture cluster business that the Ministry of Oceans and Fisheries has been promoting since 2019 to utilize ICT technology in aquaculture is introduced.

  • 기업은 현재의 위기와 미래의 불확실성에 대한 대비와 경쟁력 강화를 위해 부단한 노력을 하며, 때로는 기술혁신과 우수한 인재의 확보는 물론 지속적인 혁신을 통한 기업의 경쟁력 강화에 혼신의 노력을 경주한다. 하지만 기업이 이렇게 부단한 노력을 하더라도 기업 내부적 자원간의 원활한 소통과 노력이 뒷받침되지 않으면 기업의 지속성장은 장담할 수 없을 것이다. 특히 영향을 미치는 요인 중 노사관계의 원활한 협조체제를 위해서는 경영자의 사회적 책임과 노사관계태도가 중요한 요인으로 대두되고 있다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 A기업을 대상으로 하여 경영자의 사회적 책임, 노사관계태도와 직무수행간의 영향관계를 실증적으로 분석하였다. 연구결과 경영자의 사회적 책임은 직무만족과 직무몰입에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 아울러 경영자의 노사관계태도도 직무만족, 직무몰입에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 직무만족은 직무몰입에 긍정적 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구의 결과는 향후 기업의 경영자의 노동자 간의 새로운 노사관계 정립을 위한 실제적 활용자료로서 참고가 될 수 있을 것이다.

고용지원센터 직장인의 자기효능감, 정서노동 및 사회적 지지가 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향 (The Influence of Self Efficacy, Emotional Labor, and Social Support on Job Center Workers' Psychological Burnout)

  • 본 연구는 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 미치는 요인을 살펴보고자 하였다. 본 연구대상은 2009년 12월부터 2010년 1월까지 부산, 울산, 김해, 진해에 소재한 고용지원센터에 근무하는 직장인 180명을 대상으로 우편을 이용하여 설문지를 배포하였다. 180부 설문지 중 140부가 회수되었으며 무응답과 불성실하게 답변한 8부를 제외하고 132부만 본 연구에서 사용되었다. 본 연구에서는 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 미치는 요인을 탐색하기 위해 SPSS 프로그램을 사용하여 다음과 같은 통계분석을 실시하였다. 각 변인들과 고용지원센터 직장인의 소진간의 관계를 알아보기 위해 상관관계 검증을 실시하였으며, 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 미치는 영향을 알아보기 위하여 중다회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구에서 나타난 결과는 자기효능감과 정서노동이 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진에 자기효능감, 정서노동, 사회적 지지 순으로 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이것은 고용지원센터 직장인의 자기효능감이 심리적 소진에 전반적인 영향을 미치므로 고용지원센터 직장인의 심리적 소진을 감소시키기 위하여 자기효능감과 사회적 지지를 높여 주어야 한다는 것을 의미한다. 마지막으로 연구의 제한점과 후속연구를 위한 제언을 기술하였다.

부모와의 경제적 교류여부 및 교류액의 결정요인 : 따로 사는 부모가구와 자녀가구를 대상으로 (Determinants of Financial Interchanges and the Amount of Monetary Exchanges between Adult Children and Their Parents Living in Separate Households)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the factors that determine daily financial resources interchange between adult children and their parents. The data were drawn from KLIPS(Korea Labor and Income Panel Study), vol. 5(2002). From this dataset, one thousand eight hundred and thirty six adult children's households that had interchanged with or transferred financial resources to or from their parents were selected for this study. The results of this study were as follow: First, when compared to non-interchanging households, the households that interchanged financial resources with their parents tended to have a household head who is economically active, and had relatively plenty of financial resources. Second, the amount of the transaction was much larger for the adult children's households that were reciprocally interchanging financial resources with their parents than the households that transferred resources one-way, either taking from or giving to parents. Third, the main determinants of interchanges with their parents were the household head's demographic characteristic(sex, age, and education) and residential area what affected the amount of the exchanges, on the other hand, were the household head's demographic characteristic(sex, age, and education), household income, and assets.

Developing High-Quality Human Resources in a Knowledge-Based Economy: A Study in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam

  • For decades, Vietnam has been concerned about the need to improve human capital to meet the demands of a knowledge-based economy. The analysis of the country's current situation of human resources in terms of structure, quantity, and the quality shows that Vietnam's human resources are under-qualified compared with other countries in Southeast Asia, such as Thailand, Malaysia, and Singapore. This poses significant challenges to the economy because the development of human resources is always an urgent requirement for a new economy with fast growth, like in the Vietnamese economy. To attract foreign investment capital and develop more strongly, human resources in Vietnam must have progressed in both quality and quantity. Therefore, the author conducts this study to find out the factors that directly affect the quality of human resources, thereby evaluating and offering appropriate solutions to improve the quality of current human resources in Vietnam. More specifically, through quantitative analysis and survey with data about 4000 employees in Ho Chi Minh City, the author has discovered that there are four important factors that make the difference in labor quality, which are age, gender, marital status, and education level of the workers.
