백지의 항산화성 및 생리기능 (Antioxidative Activity and Physiological Function of the Angelica dahurica Roots)

  • 한방에서 생약재로 사용되는 백지를 새로운 기능성 소재로 활용하기 위한 연구의 일환으로 환류 추출방법 가압 열수 추출방법으로 물과 에탄올을 용매로 추출하여 각 추출물에 대한 폴리페놀, 전자공여능, SOD 유사활성능, 아질산염 소거능, xanthine oxidase 및 tyrosinase 저해 활성을 측정하여 백지의 생리활성에 대하여 분석하였다. 백지 추출물의 폴리페놀 함량은 25.34$\sim$156.30 mg/g으로 가압 열수 추출물인 PW가 환류 추출물보다 5배 이상 많이 함유된 것으로 분석되었다. 전자공여능은 1,000${\mu}g/mL$ 농도에서 30.56%$\sim$52.74%로 환류 물 추출물인 RW가 가장 높았으며, SOD 유사활성능은 10.96%$\sim$23.24%로 RE가 PW보다 2배 이상 높은 활성을 나타내었다. 아질산염 소거능은 pH 1.2의 1,000 ${\mu}g/mL$의 농도에서 16.81%$\sim$61.47%로 PW에서 가장 높은 소거효과를 나타내었으며 pH 3.0에서도 54.09%로 RW와 RE보다도 3배 이상의 높은 아질산염 소거능을 나타내었다. Xanthine oxidase 저해 활성은 5,000 ${\mu}g/mL$농도에서 85.92%$\sim$90.91%로 RW가 가장 높았으며, RE도 유사한 저해활성을 나타내었다. Tyrosinase 저해 활성은 18.74%$\sim$51.71%로 RE에서 가장 높았다. 에탄올을 용매로 이용한 RE는 SOD유사활성능과 tyrosinase저해 활성이 다른 추출물에 비해 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 가압 열수 추출물인 PW는 고온과 고압으로 가장 많은 폴리페놀이 추출되었으며, 아질산염 소거능도 매우 우수한 것으로 분석되었다. 그러므로 백지는 다량의 폴리페놀과 우수한 생리활성을 나타내므로 천연 항산화제 기능성 제품을 위한 원료로서 유용한 한방 생약자원으로 생각된다.

  • La $d\'{e}marche$ et l'objet de cette recherche sont d'analyser, psychiquement, $th\'{e}oriquement$, les marques de $l'intersexualit\'{e}$ $pr\'{e}sentent$ en Orient et les $\'{e}l\'{e}ments$ intersexuels, binaires dans le $v\hat{e}tement$, et $\'{e}galement$ de comprendre $l'ambiguit\'{e}$ ou encore la fusion des $identit\'{e}s$ $sexu\'{e}es$, qui $pr\'{e}sente$ symboliquement a travers le $v\hat{e}tement$, dans la $soci\'{e}t\'{e}$ moderne. La base fondamentale dans la $th\'{e}orie$ de l'Orient est que l'univers se divise en Yin ($caract\`{e}re\;f\'{e}minin$) et Yang ($caract\`{e}re$ masculin) et que tout individu $poss\`{e}de$ $\'{e}galement$ ce couple, en quelque sorte un intersexuel qui s'ignore, avec des variations selon l'individu. En $d\'{e}finitive$, les compositions doubles des $\'{e}l\'{e}ments$ dans le $v\hat{e}tement$ oriental montraient $embl\'{e}matiquement$ nos $qualit\'{e}s$ doubles, masculins et $f\'{e}minins$, et les trois $\'{e}l\'{e}ments$ semblent primordiaux pour $l'\'{e}lucidation$ de la $pr\'{e}disposition$ du porteur : la couleur du tissu, sa forme et la texture du $v\hat{e}tement$. La mode d'auiourd'hui oscille entre masculin et $f\hat{e}minin$. Cette fusion de la mode semble le reflet d'une tendance intersexuelle et d'une fusion du genre. Ainsi, cette recherche est, $\grave{a}$ travers $l'\'{e}l\'{e}ment$ masculin ou $f\'{e}minin$ des $v\hat{e}tements$, pour tenter de discerner lesprit, l'intention et le $caract\`{e}re$ sexuel dominant du porteur.

상향 원형노즐 제트에 의한 하향 등온 원형평면에서의 열전달 현상에 관한 연구 (The Study on the Phenomenon of Heat Transfer on a Downward Isothermal Circular Surface by an Impinging of Upward Circular Nozzle Jet)

  • While many studies on the heat transfer effect of an impinging jet have been published, most studies focus on the downward impinging jet. This study investigates the impinging jet heat transfer phenomenon when water at a temperature of $24^{\circ}C$ impinges on the downward isothermal circular plate at 60, 70, and $80^{\circ}C$ and when the upward round jet nozzle is 4, 6, and 8 mm diameter with a flow rate 3.6, 4.6, and 5.6 L/min, respectively, and when the ratio of the nozzle clearance/nozzle diameter (H/D) is 1. The results showed that, as the nozzle diameter decreases, the heat transfer coefficient increases at a constant flow rate. The correlation equation of $Nu_r$, $Pr_r$, and $Re_{jg}$ is obtained in the impinging and constant velocity flow region $(Nu_r/Pr^{0.4}_r)Dr=4.6[Re_{jg}(r/R_c)Dr]^{0.8}$ at all flow rates, in the deceleration and falling flow regions $(Nu_r/Pr^{0.4}_r)Dr=42.7{\mid}Re_{jg}(r/R_c)Dr-345.7{\mid}^{0.3}$ at 3.6 L/min, $(Nu_r/Pr^{0.4}_r)Dr=92.4{\mid}Re_{jg}(r/R_c)Dr-16.8{\mid}^{0.2}$ at 4.6 L/min, and $(Nu_r/Pr^{0.4}_r)Dr=322.4{\mid}Re_{jg}(r/R_c)Dr-536.2{\mid}^{0.01}$ at 5.6 L/min.

LH-모멘트의 차수에 따른 설계홍수량 추정 (Estimation of Design Flood by the Determination of Best Fitting Order for LH-Moments)

  • This study was conducted to estimate the design flood by the determination of best fitting order for LH-moments of the annual maximum series at fifteen watersheds. Parameters of GEV distribution and flood flows of return period n years were derived by the methods of L, L1, L2, L3 and L4-moments. Frequency analysis of flood flow data generated by Monte Carlo simulation was performed by the methods of L, L1, L2, L3 and L4-moments using GEV distribution. Relative Root Mean Square Error (RRMSE), Relative Bias (RBIAS) and Relative Efficiency (RE) using methods of L, L1, L2, L3 and L4-moments for GEV distribution were computed and compared with those resulting from Monte Carlo simulation. At almost all of the watersheds, the more the order of LH-moments and the return periods increased, the more RE became, while the less RRMSE and RBIAS became. Consequently, design floods for the applied watersheds were derived by the methods of L3 and L4-moments among LH-moments in view of high confidence efficiency.

  • Several bisphosphine- and bisphosphite-substituted Re-imido complexes have been prepared from Re(NPh)(PPh3)2Cl3, 1, and Re(N-C6H3-i-Pr2)2Cl3(py), 4. Compound 1 reacted with trimethyl phosphate (P(OMe)3) to give a mixture of two isomers,mer,trans-Re(NPh)(P(OMe)3)2Cl3, 2, and fac,cis-Re(NPh)(P(OMe)3)2Cl3, 2a. In this reaction, the mer,trans-isomer is a major product. Complex 1 also reacted with triethylphosphine (PEt3) to exclusively give mertrans-Re(NPh)(PEt3)2Cl3, 3. Compound 4 reacted with trimethylphosphine (PMe3) to give mer,trans-Re(N-C6H3-i-Pr2)(PMe3)2Cl3, 5, which was converted to mer-Re(N-C6H3-i-Pr2)(PMe)(OPMe3)Cl3, 6, on exposure to air. Crystallographic data for 2: monoclinic space group P21/n, a = 8.870(2) Å, b = 14.393(3) Å, c = 17.114(4) Å, β = 101.43(2)°, Z = 4, R(wR2) = 0.0521(0.1293). Crystallographic data for 5: orthorhombic space group P212121, a = 11.307(l) Å, b = 11.802(l) Å, c = 19.193(2) Å, Z = 4, R(wR2) = 0.0250(0.0593). Crystallographic data for 6: orthorhombic space group P212121, a = 14.036(4) Å, b = 16.486(5) Å, c = 11.397(3) Å, Z = 4, R(wR2) = 0.0261(0.0630).

홍띠 기내 재생과 재생 녹색식물체의 유전적 안정성 (In vitro Regeneration and Genetic Stability Analysis of the Regenerated Green Plants in Japanese Blood Grass (Imperata cylindrica 'Rubra'))

  • 바이오에너지작물의 중요한 소재를 제공하는 화본과 식물인 홍띠(Imperata cylindrica 'Rubra')의 기내재생 식물체의 유전적 안정성을 조사하고자 생장점 부위를 기내배양하여 재분화시킨 녹색 재생식물체의 변이성을 ISSR 마커로 조사하였다. MS(Murashige and Skoog, 1962) 배지에 식물체 기부의 생장점 부위를 적출하여 캘러스를 유도하고(0.1 mg/L 2,4-D와 2 mg/L BA), 캘러스 증식(0.1 mg/L 2,4-D와 0.05 mg/L BA), 신초 재분화(0.01 mg/L NAA와 2 mg/L BA) 후 MS 배지에서 발근시켜 재분화 식물체를 유도하고 100% 활착시켰다. 대조구인 모식물체 홍띠 8개체, 1년간 노지 포장에서 재배중인 재분화 녹색 식물체 10개체와 실험실 내 화분에서 재배중인 재분화 녹색 식물체 10개체, 총 28개체에 대하여 ISSR 분석한 결과 유전적 다형성은 재분화 식물체가 실내포트 재배식물체 4.1% 및 노지 재배식물체 3.1%로 0%인 대조구보다 높게 나타났다. 또한, 총 28개체들 간의 유전적 유사도를 평가한 결과, 유전적 유사도 지수는 0.919~1.0 사이에 분포하며, 평균 0.972로 유전적 충실도가 높게 나타났다. 군집분석 결과 노지에서 재배한 재분화 식물체와 모식물체(대조군)가 독립적으로 유집되었다.

Karman 경계층 유동의 안정성에 관한 연구 (Stability of the K rm n Boundary Layer Flow)

  • The Karman boundary-layer, has been numerically investigated for the disturbance wave number, wave velocity, azimuth angle and radius (Reynolds number, Re). The disturbed flow over rotating disk can lead to transition at a much lower Re than that of the well-known Type 1 mode of instability. This early transition is due to the excitation of the Type II mode. Presented are the neutral stability results concerning these modes by solving new formulated vorticity equations with consideration of whole convective terms. When the present numerical results are compared with the previously known results, the value of critical Re corresponding to Type I is moved from Rec,! =285.3 to 270.2 and the value corresponding to Type II is from $Re_{c,2}$=69.4 to 36.9, respectively. Also, the corresponding wave number is moved from $k_1$ =0.378 to $k_1$ =0.389 for Type I; from $k_2$ =0.279 to $k_2$=0.385 for Type II. For Type II, the upper limit of wave number and azimuth angle is $k_U$=0.5872,$varepsilon_U=-18^{\circ}$ , while its lower limit is$k_L$ =0.05, $varepsilon_L=-27^{\circ}$ This implies that the disturbances will be relatively fast amplified at small Re and within narrow bands of wave number compared with the previous results.

Flow Characteristics of Neutrally Buoyant Particles in 2-Dimensional Poiseuille Flow through Circular Capillaries

  • An experimental study has been conducted to quantitatively characterize the motion of neutrally buoyant particles in 2-dimensional Poiseuille flow through the micron-sized circular capillaries in the range of Re (Reynolds number) $\approx0.1\sim100$. $A{\mu}-PTV$ (Particle Tracking Velocimetry) system is adopted, which consists of a double-headed Nd:YAG laser, an epi-fluorescence microscope and a cooled CCD camera. Since high shear rate can be induced due to the scale effect even at low Re, it is shown that in micro scale neutrally buoyant particles in Poiseuille flow drift away from the wall and away from the center of the capillary. Consequently, particles accumulate at the equilibrium position of $0.52\sim0.64R$ with R being the radius of the capillary, which is analogous to that of tube flow in macro scale. There is a plateau in equilibrium position at small Re, while equilibrium position starts increasing at $Re\approx30$. The outermost edge of particle cluster is closer to the center of the capillary than that in previous studies due to low Re effect. The present study quantitatively presents characteristics of particle motion in circular capillaries. Furthermore, it is expected to give optimum factors for designing microfluidic systems that are to be used fur plasma separation from the blood.
