직교 이방성 판 이론을 이용한 바닥판 활하중 모멘트 산정식 개발 (Development of Live Load Moment Equations Using Orthotropic Plate Theory)

  • Because of the orthotropic elastic properties and significant two-way bending action, orthotropic plate theory may be suitable for describing the behavior of concrete filled grid bridge decks. Current AASHTO LRFD Bridge Design Specification(2004) has live load moment equations considering flexural rigidity ratio between longitudinal and transverse direction, but the Korea highway bridge design specification(2005) doesn't. The Korea highway bridge standard specification LRFD(1996) considers an orthotropic plate model with a single load to estimate live load moments in concrete filled grid bridge decks, which may not be conservative. This paper presents live load moment equations for truck and passenger car, based on orthotropic plate theory. The equations of truck model use multiple presence factor, impact factor, design truck and design tandem of the Korea highway bridge standard specification LRFD(1996). The estimated moments are verified through finite-element analyses.

남북한 도로교 설계트럭하중 분석 (Study on Design Vehicle Loads of South and North Korean Highway Bridges)

  • PURPOSES: This study is to analyze different vehicle load effects for a bridge design of South and North Korea in order to prepare a common design specification and to secure the safety of transportation when the highway bridges of South and North Korea use together. METHODS: Based on the literature review, this study considers vehicle load effects by comparing different characteristics of the standard vehicle and other differences of the bridge design specification between South and North Korea. And structural modeling of three-span continuous PSC Beam Bridge are analyzed and the bridge capacity according different vehicle loads of South and North Korea is evaluated. RESULTS: The result of this study indicates that the bridge capacity and the design vehicle weight of North Korea are smaller than the bridge capacity and the design vehicle weight of South Korea. Also this study demonstrates that the design vehicle array and other characteristics of North Korea are very different than the design vehicle array and other characteristics of South Korea. CONCLUSIONS: It is expected that the outcomes of this study can be useful in the set-up of South-North Bridge Specification because similar previous studies are rarely found.

  • Evaluation method of seismic performance has mainly used elastic spectrum analysis. This method has simplicity of analysis but deficiency of accuracy. And evaluation method of seismic performance using inelastic dynamic analysis reflects accurately inelasticity of material but hardly reflects site effects. This study suggested evaluation scheme of seismic performance for bridge structure using capacity spectrum method applied inelastic static analysis and standard design response spectrum of Korea Standard Specification for Highway Bridge. Two results, capacity spectrum method and inelastic dynamic analysis method, are very similar. As a result, this study appropriately supply both simplicity of analysis and accuracy of result.

  • In seismic analysis, there are two main ways - uniform load method and dynamic analysis, dynamic analysis can be divided into response spectrum analysis and time history analysis. In case of which get the complexion of the vibration with 3-axis of coordinate direction in each mode of free vibration mode happened owing to complication of the shape, 3-dimensional dynamic analysis is recommended to perform as multi-mode spectral analysis in standard specification for highway bridge. The purpose of this study is to understand the dynamic behavior by performing multi-mode seismic analysis according to responses analysis and time history anal)'sis in using record of earthquake. In accordance with the criterion of seismic design as defined in standard specification for highway bridge by using modified records of the El Centre and Coyote Lake earthquake, response spectrum was constructed by using the tripartite logarithmic plot. The 3-span continuous space truss bridge was selected as model of numerical analysis. As the result performed time history analysis and analysis of response spectrum for the model of numerical analysis, the result of time history analysis was slightly larger than that of response spectrum analysis. This coincide with the tendency of the result came from the analysis when using a jagged response spectrum analysis, This coincide with the tendency of the result came from the analysis when using a jagged response spectrum for a single excitation. In the Process of performing these two analysis. response spectrum analysis is more effective than time history analysis in saving times in analyzing data.

RTK GPS를 이용한 도로선형 위험요소 분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Analysis of Risk Factor on Highway Alignment Using RTK GPS)

  • 최근에는 도로의 교통수요 증가와 자동차 문화의 확산으로 도로의 안전성과 편리성, 신속성이 요구되고 있다. 본 논문에서는 RTK GPS를 이용하여 기시공된 도로의 중심선 관측값을 획득한 후 최소제곱법으로 도로 선형의 설계제원인 IP IA R을 산출해 내었다. 이런 설계 제원을 이용해 도로선형의 위험요소를 ${\ukcirner}$도로 구조 시설 기준에 관한 규칙${\lrcorner}$ 에 준해서 분석하였다. RTK GPS를 이용함으로써 도로 선형 위험요소를 신속히 분석할 수 있었다. 기존도에서 선형개량의 필요여부를 판단할때나, 교통사고율이 높은 구간에서 선형에 관련된 사고원인을 분석하고자 할 때, 유용하게 적용될 수 있을 것으로 판단된다.

  • Under sustained load, the stress variation occurs due to creep and shrinkage of concrete on the sections of steel-concrete composite girders. In standard specification for highway bridge, the method of stress estimation considering time effects is based on the concept of Yassumi method. In this study, comparing the analysis results using the AEMM and Yassumii method long-term behaviors, the rationality of specified requirements is checked.

Seismic Design of Bridges in Low to Moderate Seismic Zones

  • For the seismic design of bridges in Korea classified as the low to moderate seismic zones, the design concepts provided in the Standard Specification for Highway Bridges, Division I-A: Seismic Design, are adopted, which is basically developed for the strong seismic zones by AASHITO. Accordingly, the design procedures provided for the low to moderate seismic zones are simplified too much to fulfill the purpose of the seismic design. In this paper the design procedures given for the low to moderate seismic zones in the Standard are summarized and discussed in view of the seismic design purpose. From the discussion results some revisions are proposed as conclusions for the reasonable a, pp.ication of the Standard for bridges located in the low to moderate seismic zones.

국내 현장가열재생아스팔트 시공 혼합물 시험평가 (A Case Study of Hot In-Place Recycling Asphalt Mixture in Korea)

  • PURPOSES: This study is to investigate the Hot In-Place recycling asphalt mixture in Korea using field produced materials. METHODS: Hot In-Place reclaimed asphalt mixture was investigated to evaluate the mixture properties based on various test results such as Marshall Test, Indirect Tensile Test, TSR, and Wheel Tracking Test. These test values were compared with domestic standard specification. RESULTS: The result of the laboratory experiment indicates that the Hot In-Place Reclaimed(HIR) asphalt mixture produced at the field constrution site was satisfied all of the test criteria such as Indirect tensile test, Marshall and TSR test, and wheel tracking test. During the test, the research team found that current HIR system is required an extention of mixing time to improve quality and to reduce variation of sample to sample. Although the current HIR mixture was passed the test criteria, there is a potential capability to enhance the mixture properties as extend mixting time. CONCLUSIONS: Based on these laboratory test results, It would be concluded that domestic HIR mixture's properties were satisfied all standard specification related with evaluation of recycling asphalt mixtures. Based on this case study result, there is a chance to save construction cost and increase the usage of reclaimed asphalt concrete in the future.

긴장재 및 차량속도 변화에 따른 콘크리트 충전 타이드 아치형 거더의 동적거동 (Effects of Post-Tensioning Tendons and Vehicle Speeds on Dynamic Response of Concrete-Filled Steel Tubular Tied Arch Girder)

  • CFTA 거더는 아치형상을 갖는 콘크리트 충전 강관구조이며 초기처짐 및 공용 중 응력제어를 위해 외부긴장재를 배치한 거더 형식이다. 본 연구에서는 차량진행에 따른 거더의 동적거동에 긴장재가 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위해 유한요소 프로그램을 이용하여 거더 및 긴장재 등을 수치모델링하였으며 긴장재의 양과 긴장력을 다양한 값으로 변화시켰다. 차량하중은 도로교설계기준의 DB-24 하중을 고려하였으며 3축-2트랙으로 모델링하였다. 차량하중은 등가절점하중으로 적용시켰으며 차량하중의 이동은 차량통과 시간 및 절점수를 고려한 각 절점에서의 시간함수로 나타내었다. 차량속도는 40 km/hr에서 100 km/hr까지 20 km/hr씩 증가시켰다. 해석결과 긴장재의 긴장력 변화는 거더의 동적거동에 영향을 주지않았으며 초기처짐에만 영향을 주었다. 긴장재의 양에 따라서는 거더의 동적거동이 다르게 나타났으며 긴장재의 양이 적을수록 동적처짐은 증가하였다. 이를 바탕으로 거더의 동적증폭계수(DAF)를 산출하였으며 긴장재가 없는 경우에도 AASHTO LRFD와 도로교 표준시방서에서 정한 기준값보다 매우 작은 안정적인 거동을 보였다.

하이패스플러스카드 시스템을 위한 LSAM시험 및 모듈 개발 (Developing the Test Module of LSAM for $Hipass^{PLUS}$ Card System)

  • 한국도로공사는 선불형 플라스틱카드를 스마트카드 형태의 선불형 전자지불카드인 하이패스플러스카드로 교체하여 사용하고 있다. 하이패스플러스카드를 전자지불에 사용하기 위해서는 하이패스플러스카드에 가치를 저장하여야 하는데 이를 수행하는 스마트카드가 LSAM이다. 또한, LSAM은 PPSAM에 의해서 가치를 저장 받거나 환불할 수 있도록 설계되어있다. 따라서, LSAM의 기능 및 보안이 철저해야 한국도로공사의 전자지불시스템이 안전하다. 본 논문은 PPSAM에 의한 LSAM의 가치저장, PPSAM에 의한 LSAM의 가치환불, 그리고, LSAM에 의한 하이패스플러스카드로의 가치저장 기능 및 보안을 시험하기 위한 시험 방법, 시험 표준항목, 그리고 시험 절차 등을 포함한 시험 모듈을 개발했다. LSAM의 기능 및 보안 시험에 관한 시험 표준항목 및 시험 검사표는 한국도로공사 규격서에 준하여 ISO 표준에 적합한 항목을 기준으로 선정했다. 본 시험 모듈은 LSAM의 기능뿐 아니라 보안성 및 적합성을 시험하였다. 시험은 한국도로공사에서 사용되는 LSAM을 이용하여 실행하였다. 시험결과에 의하면, 한국도로공사에서 사용되는 LSAM은 모든 시험 기준을 통과하여 보안성 및 기능성이 적합하다고 평가되었다.
