  • Today, as individuals show their social identities and reflect their being as the members of society with a culture, an art style and communication function are stood out in fashion photographs. Accordingly, the meanings of images into text are expanded in its interpretative width through the acceptor's various terms. This researcher looked into four theories of both positions on the textuality of language and image, and considered the point of discussion on image of each theory through modern fashion photographs. First, the theory which divides language and image as auditory and visual recognitions in the textuality of language and image is limited from the view it focuses on only one side without considering the ambivalent elements of each field. For the textuality in modern fashion photographs, the observer attempts to turn it into text to give meaning to it as the recognition through five senses conforming to the acceptor's condition. Second, the theory dividing language and image into the text of time properties and spacial properties has limitation in the text, for acceptor's experience of the object appears as the structured form in time and space rather than being defined as two things like time and space. Third, the theory classifying the language and image text into conventional taste and natural taste has limitation from the view that image text is hardly an object of consistent classification in ease of recognition by the code accepted in society. Thus, this can't be fundamental approach for the understanding of the text of decoding trend represented in modern fashion photographs. Fourth, accordingly, this researcher focussed on contextual and arbitrary text of fashion photographs through the theory of Nelson Goodman which discusses image text through the differences in textuality. Basic mechanism of perceiving and recognizing and distinguish image is closely related to habit and custom like language. So, each acceptor perceives the image as a text through arbitrary interpretation obtained by individual, empirical, historical, and educational viewpoints. The textuality of modern fashion photographs aims to widen the range of diverse knowledge and understanding, transcending the regulations of simple function of existing fashion photographs. Consequently, this researcher puts forward the opinion of consistent and diverse follow-up studies on instilling meaning into fashion photographs for the understanding de-regulatory and de-constructive through various senses by avoiding only one sense-dependent fixed and regulatory properties of it.

  • This study focused on the method of separation - space organization- as one of the architectural methods that is considered by the view point of its location and arrangement of 'Byoul-seo' private garden pavilion in Honam province. As a result, the followings are conclusions; By this study, they can be found in the concept of '居敬窮理', '格物致知'. It is presumed that nature union is archived through the 'yan-sang(玩賞)' which is ultimate state of knowledge that is based on the premises of opened significance in emancipation from narrow view point in the past and cognition of value. Therefore, it is needed to know the unworldly point of space perception about the pavilion territory, furthermore to have conceptual method to distinct pavilion from the world. there are two methods in the distinct concept in this pavilion research: unworldly separation and meditative separation. It is concluded that the specific consideration of the method of separation that is applied in the Byoul-seo pavilion. And it is accomplished by the contemplation of separation method in approach and entrance of direct influence area. they could be 1) cross the hill, 2) cross over a brook, 3) lifted up in the mount, 4) penetrate the forest, and 5) narrow entrance, which could be part of location.

This study deals with the characteristics of atrium buildings in the fire safety aspect, analysis of fire examples and foreign fire codes of atrium space. And con-crete factors to be consigning fur the fire facilities of atrium buildings are presented. Recently many atrium spaces have been built in Korea. They provide new experience of space with resident and pedestrians. However, because of the lack of knowledge in design principle and disaster prevention, large loss of lives is expected in an emergency situation. cion. Therefore safety ensuring from the case is urgently needed. The following is the summary on the standard of effective fire facilities for the atrium. 1. The smoke control. inside atrium must use the machine ventilation in the atrium. 2. It is desirable to divide the section between atrium and nearby living room by anti-smoke screen in order to prevent damage by smoke when fire break out. 3. It is desirable to instill an excellent fire detector like infrared light detector as a replacement of old one. 4. • In the reality that the boundary between the real world and the virtual world disappears with the 4th Industrial Revolution, cyber crimes that occur beyond time and space have clear limitations in fulfilling their duties only with the police force of government organizations established under the real law system. The research method of this thesis is based on the literature research and the experience of security work. The purpose of this paper is to establish a social system where collective intelligence of each social field can participate voluntarily to respond to cyber crimes occurring beyond the time and space before the law and institutionalization. In addition, the social system in which collective intelligence in each social sector can participate voluntarily was established to define crime types in cyberspace in real time and to prevent crimes defined by the people themselves and the counter-measures had been proposed in order to form social consensus. First, it is necessary to establish a collective intelligent network-type cyberpolice volunteer system. The organization consists of professors of security and security related departments at universities nationwide, retired public officials from the National Intelligence Service, the National Police Agency, and the National Emergency Management Agency, security companies and the organizations, civilian investigators, security & guard, firefighting, police, transportation, intelligence, security, national security, and research experts. Second, private sector regulation should be established newly under the Security Business Act. Third, the safety guard of the collective intelligent cyberpolice volunteer system for the stability of the people's lives should strengthen volunteer work. Fourth, research lessons and legal countermeasures against cybercrime in advanced countries should be introduced. Fifth, the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, the Act on Promotion of Information and Communication Network Utilization and Information Protection, the Act on the Utilization and Protection of Credit Information, and the Special Act on the Materials and Parts Industry should be amended. Sixth, police officers should develop cybercrime awareness skills for proactive prevention activities.

  • This paper discusses the geometrical interpretation of the Taegeuk Shapes of Kameun Temple through the geometric analysis of mathematics. Based on the literature, This paper attempted to clarify that the origin of Gameunsa's founding of the spirit of patriotism may coincide with historical records through historical literature and geometric meaning. First, the background of the founding of Kameun temple, geographical location located near the East Sea, especially the history of the ancient Chinese mathematics at the time, And that mathematical knowledge influenced all fields such as agriculture, architecture, and art. Secondly, it is related to the historical record as the space of about 60 centimeters, which is uniquely underground, was identified as the structure of the excavated space. It is thought that there is a strong correlation with the origin that the King Munmu changed into a dragon, and set up the temple to be able to stay. Based on these, the clues of the interpretation of the taegeuk and the triangular pattern were searched in the samcheon yanggi(參天兩地) of the Oriental and circumference of the Western. The taegeuk and triangular patterns represent the symbols of yin-yang harmony, which correspond to the origin of its creation. the Korean people regarded the mysterious dragon as a symbol of yinyang harmony. In conclusion the Shapes of Kameun temple's stone is consistent with the contents mentioned in the historical record.

  • This study aims to analyze what elementary school pre-service teachers focused on and what challenges they faced in designing and producing a guided science inquiry program based on augmented reality (AR) and to provide some implications for teachers' professionalism and teacher education. To this end, focusing on the cases of pre-service teachers who designed and created AR-based guided inquiry programs, the researchers extracted and categorized the pre-service teachers' focus and challenges from the program design and production stages. As a result, in the program design stage, the pre-service teachers tried to construct scenarios that could promote students' active inquiry process. At the same time, drawing on the unique affordances of AR, the pre-service teachers focused on creating vivid visual data in a 3D environment and making meaningful connections between virtual and real-world activities. The pre-service teachers faced challenges in making use of the advantages of AR technology and designing an inquiry program due to a lack of background knowledge about CoSpaces, a content creation program. In the program production stage, the pre-service teachers tried to make their program easy to handle to improve students' concentration on inquiry activities. In addition, challenges of programming using CoSpaces were reported. Based on these results, educational implications were discussed in terms of the pedagogical uses of AR and teachers' professionalism in adopting AR in science inquiry.

  • The Web-based instruction on the internet provides lots of learners with the related information and knowledge beyond time and space. But in the Web-based instruction, there is a problem that the teaming process statuses for learners can be known only through an exam. This paper introduces a web monitoring method to check whether the learner has some problems in learning process and to be able to find out the students with the problems. In the method this paper proposes a learning time prediction model for predicting the proper next study time intervals based on the learner`s learning times and grades on Previous learning units. This method provides the educator with the learning Process statuses for learners. The Loaming prediction model for web-based monitoring can be used to stimulate learners to take the good teaming processes by sending automatically alerting messages if their real teaming times exceeds on his predicted learning time interval. The results of the estimation through case study on the web-based monitoring to use the teaming time prediction model show that most of on-line learners with Poor teaming process statuses get poor grades. In addition, the results show that learner`s poor habits keep going on without change.

  • The most common conception of a work of art is as a unique object. In conservation the prevalent notion of authenticity is based on physical integrity, this guides judgements about loss. For the majority of traditional art objects, minimising change to the physical work means minimising loss, where loss is understood as compromising the (physical) integrity of a unique object, and this forms the focus of conservation. Fundamental to conservators' approach to the conservation of contemporary art is the notion that the artist's intent should guide conservators' practice. Since most of the artists creating installation art are living, it is possible to interview them about the details of the installation, attitudes to changing technology, parameters of acceptable change and their views about what aspects of the installation are essential to preserve. Conservation is no longer focused on intervening to repair the art object but has become concerned with documentation and determining what change is acceptable and managing those changes. In order to accurately install works in the future it is necessary to broaden our focus to include elements of an installation that affect the viewer's experience. This might mean documenting the space, the acoustics, the balance of the different channels of sound, the light levels and the way one enters and leaves the installation. These are as important as the more tangible or material elements in the conservation of the work. It is also necessary to work with industry and specialists outside the field of conservation to develop new skills to preserve and manage new types of objects in our care. We can also document the less tangible details of an installation such as the light levels, the character of the sound etc. This is a new area of conservation and as a profession our understanding and knowledge will deepen with time. All of these strategies work together to help to limit the risk of not being able to accurately install these works in the future. Deciding what can be changed and how to best care for any element of an installation will depend on its meaning and role. For both contemporary and traditional objects such decisions are documented by conservators and although the focus of the conservator may have moved away from the material object, the approach is still rooted in traditional notions of collection care.
