  • Due to advanced complex strategies, the complexity of information that a commander must analyze is increasing. An intelligent service that can analyze battlefield is needed for the commander's timely judgment. This service consists of extracting knowledge from battlefield information, building a knowledge base, and analyzing the battlefield information from the knowledge base. This paper extract information similar to an input query by embedding the knowledge base built in the 2nd step. The transformation model is needed to generate the embedded knowledge base and uses the random-walk algorithm. The transformed information is embedding using Word2Vec, and Similar information is extracted through cosine similarity. In this paper, 980 sentences are generated from the open knowledge base and embedded as a 100-dimensional vector and it was confirmed that similar entities were extracted through cosine similarity.

  • IT service is becoming a critical business operation in the age of information revolution. In providing IT services internally to other functions of the corporation and externally to other organizations, sharing of knowledge between business people and system people is known to become more and more critical for successful IT services. Purpose of this research is to examine the impact of IT service quality on knowledge sharing activities between IT service providers and users. Theoretical research model, through an extant literature review, is proposed here, consisting of IT service quality, relationship quality(satisfaction, trust and commitment), and the level of knowledge sharing activities. Survey results of 183 users indicates that IT service quality significantly influences commitment through satisfaction and trust, which in turn influences the level of knowledge sharing activities. Also, interestingly, satisfaction and trust do not directly influences the level of knowledge sharing, but indirectly, through commitment.

  • In recent years, many studies on the public library services for individual vulnerable groups have been performed in Korea. From the standpoint of public libraries with limited human and physical resources, however, all proposed alternatives are difficult to accommodate due to overload and in an integrated perspective, the several alternatives have a logical contradiction and possibility of realistic conflicts. Focusing on these facts, this study proposed an integrated direction and strategic plan to strengthen knowledge and information services of public libraries for five vulnerable classes, ie., the disabled persons, multi-cultural families, the elderly, rural residents, basic living subsidies.

  • Recently, as Information System projects tend to be more complex, the importance of Information System Audit increases. In the same context, the need for the resident IS Audit also increases, which is supposed to deal with the possible risks and urgent issues by providing the appropriate support and timely coordination during IS project. Basically, for the effective IS Audit, the IS audit team members should be able to understand such a business context as work characteristics, business knowledge, goals, and culture of the organization. The audit team members should also be able to share the various knowledge of Information Technology and audit procedure with the owner of the project. Especially, for the resident audit, it is more important to fill the gaps in expertise between project owner and audit team. However, any studies on the need of common knowledge base (knowledge complementarities) in the IS audit have not been done so far. The purpose of this study is to analyze whether the knowledge complementarity based on inter-organizational communication between the project owner and audit team members makes an effect on the fidelity and performance of IS audit. In order to do this, the relationship among inter-organizational communication and knowledge complementarity, the fidelity of IS audit service, and performance of IS audit has been analyzed, using Structural Equation Model. The result shows that all the relationship is significant, which means that knowledge complementarity between the two different interest groups should be an effective factor on the fidelity and performance of IS audit. This result implies that, for better quality of IS Audit service, how to acquire the knowledge complementarity between the project owner and Audit team should be considered seriously as well as systematically in the process of IS Audit.

  • As Daniel Bell says, that modern society is an information society. In contrast to earlier days, modern society has placed a high value on information and knowledge. Therefore, modern civilization depends largely on information and knowledged, which is the most valuable sources of all intelligence activities. By coordinating a large number of human action, the information creates a powerful social tool. It combines its personnel with its resources and new materials at various level. At the same time, It continually evaluates how well it is performing and tries to adjust itself accordingly in order to achieve social goals. As we shall see, all this allows information to sew the various needs of society. In connection with above mentioned problem consciousness, the study is designed to sew the following purposes. As its title indicates, and perhaps most significant. This study is to review and reinterpret the existing literature on local telecommunication system, networks, and policy direction in order to arrive at a somewhat more general approach to understanding them. In local telecommunications service, the service exploitation and promotion and database development must be accomplished by establishing local telecommunications. If we develop local telecommunications toward the progressing direction, we would dissolve the regional information disparity and could also make the local policy suited for high-intelligence society. It is true of any science that knowledge is never complete. It is also true of a science that knowledge should grow, through systematic reexamination of the body of findings. There are certainly true of this study on the developmental direction for local telecommunication system.
