The purpose of this study is to discuss implications for government policy aimed at increasing public's intention to accept AI. Knowledge regarding AI and feelings regarding AI were found to influence acceptance to intention towards AI. Hierarchical regression analysis was then conducted to explore the moderation effect of confidence in government on knowledge and feelings regarding AI. Results showed that as advanced knowledge regarding AI has a positive influence on acceptance intention towards AI and negative feelings regarding AI has a negative influence on acceptance intention towards AI. Feelings regarding AI had the highest impact on acceptance intention towards AI, followed by confidence in government and knowledge regarding AI. Results also revealed that a high level of confidence in government regulations was associated with greater acceptance intention towards AI and a low level of confidence in government regulations acceptance intention towards AI was more influenced by feelings regarding AI than by knowledge regarding AI. Furthermore, religion had a significant influence on acceptance intention towards AI, which provides one insightful direction for future research.

Online learning is becoming ubiquitous worldwide because of its accessibility anytime and from anywhere. However, it cannot be successfully implemented without understanding constructs that may affect its adoption. Unlike previous literature, this research extends the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology with three well-known theories, namely compatibility, online self-efficacy, and knowledge sharing and acquisition to examine online learning adoption. A total of 264 higher education students took part in this research. Partial Least Squares-Structural Equation Modeling was used to evaluate the proposed theoretical model. The findings suggested that performance expectancy and compatibility were significant predictors of behavioral intention, whereas behavioral intention, facilitating conditions, and compatibility had a significant and direct effect on online learning's actual use. The results also showed that knowledge acquisition, knowledge sharing, and online self-efficacy were determinates of performance expectancy. Finally, online self-efficacy was a predictor of effort expectancy. The proposed model achieved a high fit and explained 47.7%, 75.1%, 76.1%, and 71.8% of the variance of effort expectancy, performance expectancy, behavioral intention, and online learning actual use, respectively. This study has many theoretical and practical implications that have been discussed for further research.
Information systems that are not used cannot be useful. In order to increase user acceptance, it is necessary to understand why people accept or reject information systems. Technology Acceptance Model(TAM) is one of the most influential research models for studying determinants how users accept information systems. Recently, Knowledge Management Systems(KMS) have become important components of corporate systems as the foundation of industrialized economics has shifted from natural resources to knowledge assets. This paper applies TAM to investigate users' acceptance of KMS in public administration institutions. It sampled 182 users who had experience in using KMS. Many empirical researches have suggested that TAM can be integrated with other organizational theories to improve its predictive and explanatory ower. We extended the basic TAM by the integration of appraisal and reward satisfaction theory. There are many external variables that influence the perception and the belief of system users. We introduced two external variables(job characteristics, IT self-efficacy) and one additional perception variable, perceived appraisal and reward(PAR) in the basic TAM model. The LISREL model analysis is used for finding out the causality among variables and testing the model fitness. As result, The IT self-efficacy influences to the perceived ease of use(PEOU) and the PAR, and the PEOU influences directly to the perceived usefulness(PU), the PAR, and the attitude toward KMS. The KMS participation intention(PI) was influenced by the PAR and the attitude directly,andbythePEOUindirectly. Finally, this paper suggests some guidelines for the adoption of KMS in public sectors on the basis of the study results.
Background: This study aimed to examine the level of knowledge, attitude, acceptance, and willingness to pay (WTP) for HPV vaccination among female parents of girls aged 12-15 years in Thailand. Materials and Methods: A cross-sectional survey was conducted in eight schools across Bangkok. Results: Of 1,200 questionnaires sent out, a total of 861 questionnaires were received. Knowledge regarding the HPV vaccine among parents was quite low. Only half of the parents knew about the link between HPV and cervical cancer while one-third of them knew that the vaccine should be administered to the children before they become sexually active. Nevertheless, vaccine acceptance was high if it was offered for free: 76.9% for the bivalent and 74.4% for the quadrivalent vaccine. The proportion of respondents who were willing to copay for the vaccine if it was not totally free was also high, ranging from 68.9% for the bivalent to 67.3% for the quadrivalent vaccine. No significant difference between bivalent and quadrivalent vaccines in terms of prevalence of acceptance and willingness to pay was found. About one-third of the participants, who were willing to copay for the vaccine if it was not offered for free, indicated that they would copay less than 500 baht (30 baht = approx US$1) for three doses of bivalent vaccine. Conclusions: Substantial effort should be made to educate parents prior to introduction of a national HPV vaccination program. In terms of acceptance, either bivalent or quadrivalent vaccines can be recommended.
The current study tests the effect of fashion product knowledge and confidence in fashion coordination on innovative fashion product acceptance, mediated by creative fashion consumer efficacy. Creative fashion consumer efficacy refers to a consumers' belief in the ability to consume fashion products in a creative way. The survey was conducted on 474 people between 20 and 40 years of age in a panel of online survey firms. Data was analyzed using reliability analysis and frequency analysis by SPSS 20.0 along with confirmatory factor analysis and structural equation modeling done by AMOS 20.0. The results reveal that creative fashion consumer efficacy consists of original thinking efficacy, usage expansion efficacy, problem solving efficacy, and method variation efficacy that is consistent with the original structure of creative consumption efficacy. In addition, fashion product knowledge and confidence in fashion coordination do not affect innovative fashion product acceptance. The effects of fashion product knowledge and confidence in fashion coordination on innovative fashion product acceptance are fully mediated through creative fashion consumer efficacy. The results of this study demonstrate that people who are knowledgeable, confident and associated with fashion product consumption can have a high level of creative fashion consumer efficacy that increases innovative fashion product acceptance.

The purpose of the existing work is to inspect the impact of knowledge management on organizational performance. Business experts now appreciate how important knowledge management is for organizational performance. Earlier studies have investigated the research model with causal linkages, however, only a few of them have considered sample-selecting bias problems when analyzing the model of knowledge management on organizational performance. The number of 312 executives related to knowledge management from 312 enterprises that have been approved with quality management systems offered suitable responses for analyses. The data was employed to investigate the effect of knowledge management on organizational performance, considering sample-selecting bias. The empirical outcomes indicate that sample-selecting bias exists in the causal impact of knowledge management on organizational performance. The empirical findings are helpful to scholars of knowledge management as well as business executives by giving an insight into the casual effect of knowledge management on organizational performance with the intervention of sample-selecting bias. The acceptance of knowledge management should be tailored to improve competitive advantages that will lead to better organizational performance.

Background: Introduction of the HPV vaccine is a forefront primary prevention method in reducing the incidence of carcinogenic human papillomavirus (HPV) and cervical cancer. The Malaysia government has implemented the National HPV immunisation programme since 2010, supplying HPV vaccine free to targeted 13 year olds. This study aimed to explore the level of knowledge among mothers on cervical cancer, HPV, HPV vaccine and National HPV (NHPV) immunisation programme since its' implementation. It also assessed acceptance of mothers towards HPV vaccine being administered to their daughter, son or themselves. Materials and Methods: A cross sectional study was conducted on 155 respondents using self-administered questionnaires; conducted in December 2012 at the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Clinic in a teaching hospital in Kuala Lumpur. Respondents were selected using a multistage sampling technique. Results: A response rate of 100% was obtained. Overall, 51.0% of mothers had good knowledge, with 55% having good knowledge of cervical cancer, 54.2% for both HPV and the National HPV immunisation programme and 51.0% for the HPV vaccine. Regression analyses showed that ethnicity was associated with knowledge on cervical cancer (p=0.003) while education was associated with knowledge on HPV (p=0.049). Three factors are associated with knowledge of the National HPV immunisation programme; ethnicity (p=0.017), mothers' education (p=0.0005) and number of children (p=0.020). The acceptance of HPV vaccine to be administered among daughter was the highest at 87.1%, followed by for mothers themselves at 73.5%, and the least is for sons 62.6%. Conclusions: This study found that the overall level of knowledge was moderate. Adequate information on cervical cancer, HPV, HPV vaccination and the National HPV immunisation programme should be provided to mothers in order to increase acceptance of the HPV vaccine which can reduce the disease burden in the future.

This study defined acceptance of high-tech new product as user's active using the product such as utilizing application software rather than purchasing it. As exploring factors to effect on customer's acceptance, usefulness expectancy was examined from product side and application side. When investigating the exogenous variables to influence on usefulness expectancy from the product side, customer's product knowledge and social influences are put forward to support the hypothesis. From the application side, customer's knowledge about the application and its trust are put to explain usefulness expectancy of the application. Smart phone users were good subjects for this study and most hypotheses were tested using structural equation model and the results are followings. First usefulness expectancy of the product and of application significantly effect on customer's intention to use high-tech new product and also usefulness expectancy of the product positively effects on which of the application. Second customer's perceived knowledge about the product and social influences impact usefulness expectancy of the product. But third customer's perceived trust toward application didn't any positive impact usefulness expectancy of the application. Through the result, there will be several implications. First, from both of side; product and application, customer's usefulness expectancy should be satisfied to be successful in high-tech products market. Second, customer should be Ieant about advantages of the product and knowledge about the application as well, and then trigger their usefulness expectancy.

As knowledge management is recognized as an important factor for organizational performance, organizations are increasing their investment in knowledge management policies and technologies. The purpose of this study is to suggest positive and negative causes on the intention to share knowledge through a using knowledge management system(KMS) and to suggest the effect of organizational sharing climate. Research models and hypotheses were presented through previous studies, and 417 samples were obtained through the survey for employees of organizations that adopted a KMS. As a result of the analysis, usefulness and ease of use of the KMS had a positive effect on the intention to share knowledge, and task conflict and ambiguity had a negative effect. The knowledge sharing climate was found to be an antecedent for the technology acceptance model and task stress. In addition, task stress moderated the effect of usefulness and ease of use with the intention to share knowledge using KMS. The results suggested the direction to be pursued at the organizational level for the continuous use of KMS.
The objective of this empirical study is to examine the mediating and moderating effects of perceived risks on the relationship between knowledge, feelings and acceptance intention towards AI. Subjects in their teens to forties were surveyed and the final sample comprised 1,969 subjects. Data were analyzed using Mediation using Multiple Regression and Moderated Multiple Regression. Results showed that people's knowledge and feelings towards AI affected their acceptance intention of AI. Results also showed that the perceived risks of AI partially mediated and moderated the relationship between feelings and acceptance intention towards AI and moderated but not mediated the relationship between knowledge and acceptance intention towards AI. Overall, these results suggest that people's perceived risks of AI are associated more strongly with their feelings towards AI than their knowledge towards AI. Implications and directions for future research were discussed in relation to increasing general population's acceptance intention towards AI.
