In the seventh mathematics curriculum, the use of technological tools including calculator and computer are generally recommended through the seventh subjects related to mathematics emphasized, and especially in 'Applied Mathematics' subject, their use are more strongly emphasized and reflected. The total four kinds of textbooks of Applied Mathematics includes contents on their use. This study investigates what are contents on calculator use, how they are developed and constructed in Applied Mathematics Textbook. Furthermore, this study is focused on the analysis and comparison on those factors of four kinds of textbooks. Based on these results, this study ultimately hope to suggest how effectively calculator use be developed and constructed in textbook both in Applied Mathematics and the other mathematics subjects.

In order to study the natural preservation of food, sixteen kinds of medicinal plants were extracted by 80% methanol and then antimicrobial activity of the extracts was investigated against various kinds of microorganisms. The extracts of medicinal plants showed good effects of antimicrobial activity against bacteria except Bacillus cereus, Escherichia coli O-157. Especially, the extracts of Artemisia annua, Aster scaber, Solidago virganrea shower good inhibitory effects on the growth of bacteria to the cooling preservation foods, and Artemisia annua was decreased of the TMA(Trimethylamine) test. the result thus indicate that Artemisia annua, Aster scaber, Solidago fischeri extract inhibitory effects on cooling preservation foods, so that it may be potential as a natural preservatives.

Objective : To research SUCCUS PHYLLOSTACHYOS through 38 kinds texts over generation for acuacupunture experiment of SUCCUS PHYLLOSTACHYOS. Methods : I studied origin, alias, species, tastes, meridian, effect, treatment, component, medical action and contraindication of SUCCUS PHYLLOSTACHYOS through 38 kinds mecical literatures. Results : Medical actions of SUCCUS PHYLLOSTACHYOS are Resolving slippery phlegm, Reducing fever, Nourishing Yin, Expelling wind and Activating blood circulation. Therefore SUCCUS PHYLLOSTACHYOS can be applied to aphonia, wind arthralgia, Diabetes, epilepsy and convulsive seizure in children. Specially for phlegm-retention due to stroke, it must be used with fresh ginger juice.

Exposed concrete execution is utilized insufficiently due to surface honecomb and undesirable appearance by entrapped air when existing placing method is applied. Therefore, surface glossing and impact properties of cement mortar incorporating fiber glass net blast furnace slag, expansive admixture and Polypropylene fiber are investigated in order to develop precast exposed concrete pannel by dry construction method. The kinds of the forms, placing method and admixture contents are varied. According to test results, surface glossing decrease with elapse of age. Considering the form kinds, surface glossing with acryle + astage shows the best performance. Placing horizontally shows positive results in reducing surface defects such as honecomb. Impacting resistance shows the best performance when glass fiber net applied, due to the enhance in toughness and absorption of impact.

The purpose of this study was to examine the questioning styles in middle school environmentology textbook In terms of frequency, type, and placement of questions. It was also to analyse and to compare the kinds of scientific inquiry processes elicited by the questions in the topics of textbooks. The instrument was the Textbook Questing Strategies Assessment Instrument (TQSAI) developed the Cooperative Teacher Preparation Project, University of California. The average number of Questions per topic was only 1.09 and the ratio of questions to sentences was 2.5%. Most of questions were in explanatory place(75%). Nearly 90% of experienced questions types were reasoning or application. The frequencies of non-experiential question were higher than those of experiential question. In action, there were much kinds of question-styles.

Logic functions such as fuzzy switching functions and multiple-valued Kleenean functions, that are models of Kleene algebra have been studied as foundation of fuzzy logic. This paper deals with a new kinds of functions-fuzzy switching functions with constants-which have features of both the above two kinds of functions . In this paper, we propose new canonical forms for enumerating them. They are much useful to estimate simply the number of fuzzy switching functions with constants.

이동통신용 유전체 필터에 사용되는 유전체 재료 는 많이 상용화 되어 있다. 그러나 향후 IMT2000, BIuetooth. Wireless LAN등에 채용될 부품은 더욱 소형화로 여기에 필요한 새로운 유전체 재료가 요 구된다. 이러한 필터는 결국 적층 일체형 필터의 제작이 대두되고 이를 위해서는 높은 유전율에 높은 Q값을 갖는 저온소결(900˚C이하)재료가 필요하다. 본고에서는 저온소결이 가능한 BiNbO$_{4}$,재료를 갖고 설계, 적층공정 등을 통하여 적층일체형 필터를 제 작하였다.

Post-wall waveguide structures have attracted a great deal of attention for micro- and millimeter-wave applications. One of the waveguide’s applications is a slotted waveguide array. In order to design the slotted array, the characteristics of a slot unit alone on the post-wall waveguide should be investigated. In this paper, a method for extracting the S-parameters of a unit slot is proposed. This simple method requires only two kinds of waveguides: waveguides without a slot unit and waveguides with a slot unit. Three kinds of slot units are fabricated, and the extracted results show a high level of agreement with predicted (simulated) results. With this method, the equivalent slot length can also be found.

This study is intended to investigate an influence of the kinds and the maximum size of aggregate on the compressive strength of small size core specimen. According to the results, the compressive strength of standard specimen is large in order of basalt, granite and limestone aggregate, and shows increasing tendency as the maximum size of aggregate grows large. The compressive strength of concrete using basalt aggregate shows similar tendency to granite aggregate, and that of concrete using limestone aggregate decreases slightly, compared with granite aggregate. The reducing ratio of the compressive strength of 25mm core specimen is least when the maximum size of aggregate is 10mm. But the compressive strength of 50 and 100mm core specimen is almost not influenced by the maximum size of aggregate.

This study examined the kinds, shape, technique, and arrangement of pattern for the Korean traditional women costume between 1995 and 2002. The sources used this study were collected from the magazine “HANBOK, ONGOJISHIN, BEAUTIFUL OUR DRESS” Results were as follows 1) In the kinds of pattern, the most pattern of use was the flower pattern, and the geometric pattern showed the trend of increase. these results mean the use of pattern lately is progressed by the new direction. 2) In the shape of pattern, the style shapes were decreased gradually and the geometric shapes were increased. these results show that the modern beauty is chased. 3) In the technique of pattern. the results viewed that the embroidery technique used in the meantime decreased and the JOGAKBO technique increased. 4) In the arrangement of pattern, the modern arrangement was most superior in the most of year. That is estimated the arrangement of pattern have been chased the modern beauty than the others of pattern.
