산욕기 과보온으로 야기된 산욕기 발한 과다에 대한 증례 보고 (The cases report of postpartum hyperhidrosis caused by keeping overwarm)

  • Purpose : The keeping warm and avoidance of cold are one of important Korean traditional postpartum care, but sometimes overwarm for example over-bundling, an overheated room or a steam bath cause heavy sweats. I observed and treated three patients complained of heavy sweats, chills, fatigue, malaise, cold sensation and pain caused by keeping overwarm for postpartum care. Although the symptoms have aggravated, they have maintained keeping overwarm because of a belief of Korean traditional postpartum care. The purpose of these cases studies are to report postpartum hyperhidrosis caused by keeping overwarm and to make a point of keeping the appropriate room temperature and humidity during puerperium. Methods : I observed and treated three patients complained of heavy sweats, chills, fatigue, malaise, cold sensation and pain caused by keeping overwarm for postpartum care. I found that a cause of the symptoms was hyperhidrosis by keeping overwarm, and administered herbal medicine and was to keep the appropriate room temperature. Results : After medication of Herbal medicine(補中益氣湯加味方) and keeping the appropriate room temperature, they were improved. Conclusion : Postpartum care is not to keep overwarm but to keep the appropriate room temperature and humidity.

소나무로 제조된 우드세라믹의 표면온도변화 - 승온속도 및 최고온도에서 유지시간의 영향 - (A Changes in Surface Temperature of Woodceramics Made from Pinus densiflora S. et. Z. - Effect of Heating Rate and Keeping Time at Maximum Temperature -)

  • 소나무 간벌재로 톱밥보드를 만든 후 우드세라믹을 제조하여 승온속도 및 최고온도에서의 유지시간에 따른 우드세라믹의 표면온도의 변화를 조사하였다. 승온속도 $2^{\circ}C/min$와 유지시간 1시간의 조건으로 제조된 우드세라믹의 표면 온도가 가장 높았다. 히터의 표면 온도보다 우드세라믹의 표면온도의 하강 속도가 느려 우드세라믹이 오랜 시간 열을 유지하고 있음을 알 수 있었다.

  • 소나무, 낙엽송 및 잣나무 간벌재로 톱밥보드를 만든 후 소성시 승온속도와 최고온도에서 유지시간을 달리하여 우드세라믹을 제조하고 그 물성을 조사하였다. 승온속도가 빠를수록 밀도 및 두께감소율은 감소하였고 길이감소율 및 중량 감소율은 증가하였다. 최고온도에서 유지시간이 증가할수록 길이감소율 및 두께감소율은 증가하였다. 열전도성은 승온속도 $2^{\circ}C/min$와 최고온도에서 유지시간 2시간일 때의 조건으로 제조된 우드세라믹이 가장 우수하였다.

스포츠웨어용 투습방수직물의 열·수분이동 특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Heat and Moisture Transport Properties of Vapor-Permeable Waterproof Finished Fabrics for Sports Wear)

  • This study was to determine the characteristics of vapor-permeable waterproof finished fabric by the coating method. 4 different kinds of coating fabrics (A : wet, porous, polyurethane, B : dry, no porous, polyurethane, C : shape memory polyurethane and D : dry, porous polyurethane) were used, which were developed recently With this sample, moisture transport rate ($40^{\circ}C$, 45%RH & $40^{\circ}C$, 95%RH), changes of coating side's shape by washing times, water repellency rate, contracted length, qmax, heat conductivity, heat keeping rate, heat keeping rate with cotton, heat keeping rate on humidity temperature and humidity within clothing etc. were checked. And it was done in a climate chamber under $20{\pm}2^{\circ}C$, $65{\pm}5%RH$. The results of this study were as follow; In the moisture vapor transmission of sample B and C increased on high temperature and high humidity while sample A and D decreased, on this condition. Qmax rate had high relation with ground fabric's surface properties and the order was A>C>D>B. Heat conductivity had high relation with thickness and surface properties. Heat keeping rates on sweat condition showed around half percents of heat keeping rates on normal condition, but had no relation with moisture vapor transport rate. Changes of the fabric's properties by washing times were different in accordance with the construction of fabrics and the coating resin. Sample C had tow heat keeping rate on the high temperature and humidity and high heat keeping rate on the low temperature and humidity Moisture transport rate of vapor-permeable waterproof finished fabrics had high relation with the properties of ground fabrics on low humidity condition, but on the high humidity condition, it was highly related with the properties of coating resin.

貯藏溫度와 充塡材料가 마의 貯藏과 品質에 미치는 影響 (Effect of Storage Temperature and Keeping Materials on Storability and Quality of Chinese Yam)

  • 최근 한방(韓方)의 생약제(生藥劑) 또는 생식용(生食用)으로서 마의 소비량은 급격히 증대되고 있어 년중(年中) 출하(出荷)를 위한 안정적인 저장방법이 설정되어야 할 것이다. 본 시험은 마의 저장에 관한 정보를 제공하고자 저장온도와 충전재(充塡材)에 따른 저장 또는 상품성과 관련된 형질의 변화를 조사하였던 바 그 결과를 요약(要約)하면 다음고 같다. 1. 충전재(充塡材)에 따른 건전개체율은 상온저장과 저온저장 모두 vermiculite를 이용할 경우 가장 높았고 상온저장에서는 흙, 저온저장에서는 PE film을 이용할 경우 가장 낮았다. 한편 중량감소율은 상온과 저온저장 모두 타충진재(他充塡材)에 비하여 PE film과 vermiculite를 이용할 경우 가장 낮았다. 2. 충전재과(充塡材科)에 따른 저장 후 상품성(商品性)과 관련된 명도(明度)와 수분함량(水分含量)은 저온저장에 비하여 상온저장에서 낮았으며, 충전재(充塡材)는 저온저장에서 PE film을 이용할 경우 명도 및 색도 a값이 높고 색도 b값이 낮은 반면, vermiculite를 이용할 경우 PE film과는 상반된 결과를 보였다. 3. 충전재료별 저장 후 상품수량은 건전개체율 또는 수분함량과 정(正)의 상관(相關)을 보인 반면, 부패정도가 $30\sim60%$, 60% 이상인 것, 중량감소율 또는 색도 b값과 부(負)의 상관(相關)으로 분석되었다.

김치냉장고 내의 유동 및 열전달 특성에 관한 수치해석 (A Numerical Study on the Flow and Heat Transfer Characteristics in a Kimchi Refrigerator)

  • Kimchi refrigerator is a household electric appliance developed with the wholly domestic technology for maturing and keeping kimchi. However, the principle of keeping is not yet revealed obviously. This numerical study has been conducted to investigate the flow and heat transfer characteristics in a kimchi refrigerator. The effects of arrangement variation of a evaporation tube are examined. Also, the heat transfer characteristics through the insulation material are discussed in detail. The flow and temperature field was simulated using the commercial code of CFX-5.3. A natural convection flow is formed through about 5/6 region from the bottom within the keeping space and accordingly, the 90% region of kimchi containers satisfies the temperature requirement with 0$\pm$0.5$^{\circ}C$. The stagnant flow exists in the upper 1/6 region of the keeping space and accordingly, the stratified high temperature distributions appear in the upper region of kimchi containers. The upward shift of the start location of a evaporation tube improves the temperature concentration toward $0^{\circ}C$ but the pitch variation is of no effect. The heat fluxes on the insulation surfaces show two-dimensional distributions with being higher toward the center. Through the variation of insulation thickness, 3.5% saving of insulation material is obtained under the same heat transfer rate.

자동차용 기관의 냉각수 온도조절을 위한 서머스탯의 최적설계 변수설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Optimum Design Parameters of the Thermostat for Coolant Temperature Control of an Automotive Engine)

  • It is widely recognized that exhaust emissions, fuel economy and engine torque are affected by engine temperature, and logic would suggest that a cooling system offering a better compromise of engine temperature would improve both overall engine performance and economy. Author measured coolant temperature of some parts and flow rate which are necessary to heat transfer in a engine. And Author determined parameters necessary for the optimum design of a thermostat to keep the best engine performance ; determined the optimum operating temperature of electric cooling fan. A summary of this study is followed. 1. Study of the effects of cooling condition to combustion character in a engine. 2. Analyze of heat transfer surrounding engine cylinders. 3. Study of the effects of cooling character to engine heat rejection, determination of the optimum collant temperature for keeping the optimum engine performance and determination of the optimum design of a thermostat for keeping that temperature.

행동기관으로서 발의 보온 및 항균방취에 대한 연구 (Research on warmth-keeping, anti-bacteria and deodorant treatment for feet, the active organ of human body)

  • Researches were made on foot-warming, anti-bacteria and deodorant treatment. Feet, the very important organ to human body, perspire much and their temperature is lower than those of other parts. Hence, keeping feet warm, sanitary and deodorant is the area of this study. Latex sponge of activated carbon, impregnated open cell foam, treated with Vikol DZ-anti-bacteria finishing agent, was developed and tested for warmth-keeping by KSK 0560 test method and for sanitization by AATCC 90 HALO test method and for deodorization by wearing tests. The results show that the new developed latex spongee has warmth-keeping ratio of 2.5 times higher than that of the conventional spong and it has an excellent anti-bacteria effect. Actual wearing function tests also show that it improves significantly the performance of deodorization, sanitization, warmth-keeping and bulkiness.

  • The large amount of energy is consumed in a process for keeping the high temperature melting pool. For this reason, in addition to the wastes input to keep the high temperature melting pool, it is necessary for an auxiliary fuel and LOx to throw into the melting pool. So in this study, using a new melting furnace system, the experiments to keep the melting pool with minimal energy without throwing an auxiliary fuel and LOx was carried out. Also it is hoped that the results of the experiment will be available to analyze keeping a melting pool and behavior in a melting furnace.

수막재배 단동비닐하우스의 태양열 축열이용 효과분석 (Analysis of Solar Energy Storage Using Effectiveness on Single Span Plastic Greenhouse with Water Curtain System)

  • This study was carried out in order to reduce the amount of underground water which is used in the water curtain system for retaining heat. To proceed to the research, two plastic green houses of water curtain system were installed. One was equipped of internal small tunnel for keeping warm air in the interior of the house. Then the internal small tunnel for keeping warm air was fitted with PVC duct of 50cm in diameter filled with subsurface water. Storing surplus solar energy in the water filled in PVC duct was the method used to this house. Another was installed with FCU in the middle of the house, and was fitted a circulation motor in water tank for heat storage which was operated from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in order to interchange heat with FCU. The latter was installed with four FCUs which has a capacity of 8000kcal per hour. Consequently about 5 degrees celsius could be maintained in the interior of the internal small tunnel for keeping warm air with the external temperature of more than minus 5 degrees celsius. It appeared that the alteration of an internal temperature of the house was flexible depending on the sunlight during daytime. It happened that to prevent the water from freezing, mixing antifreezing liquid in the flowing water of FCU or changing the operating method of FCU was a suitable measure. Also, in order to use the surplus solar thermal energy on plastic green house of water curtain system efficiently, storing the surplus heat during daytime simultaneously finding a method of using water curtain systematic underground water happened to be important. As a result of this research, when the house's interior temperature is below zero the operation of FCU appeared to be impossible. Therefore when supposed that the amount of water used in the house is 150~200ton for stable operation of FCU, using the system mentioned in the above research happened to be appropriate of reducing the amount of subsurface water from 80% to 100% when maintaining the interior of internal small tunnel's temperature for keeping warm air of 5 degrees celsius at the extreme temperature of minus 5 degrees celsius.
