MoOx 기반의 고성능 투명 광검출기 (MoOx-Windowed High-Performing Transparent Photodetector)

  • A high-performing all-transparent photodetector was created by configuring a $MoO_x$/NiO/ZnO/ITO structure on a glass substrate. The ITO bottom layer was applied as a back contact. To achieve the transparent p/n junction, p-type NiO was coated on the n-type ZnO layer. Reactive sputtering was used to spontaneously form the ZnO or NiO layer. In order to improve the transparent photodetector performance, the functional $MoO_x$ window layer was used. Optically, the $MoO_x$ window provided a refractive index layer (n=1.39) lower than that of NiO (n=2), increasing the absorption of the incident light wavelengths (${\lambda}s$). Moreover, the $MoO_x$ window can provide a lower sheet resistance to improve the carrier collection for the photoresponses. The $MoO_x$/NiO/ZnO/ITO device showed significantly better photoresponses of 877.05 (at ${\lambda}$=460nm), 87.30 (${\lambda}$=520 nm), and 30.38 (${\lambda}$=620 nm), compared to 197.28 (${\lambda}$=460 nm), 51.74 (${\lambda}$=520 nm) and 25.30 (${\lambda}$=620 nm) of the NiO/ZnO/ITO device. We demonstrated the high-performing transparent photodetector by using the multifunctional $MoO_x$ window layer.

  • 유닛모듈러 공법에서는 정밀 제작된 유닛모듈과 시공정밀도가 낮은 기초부의 접합부에서 수평 정밀도 차이가 발생한다. 이러한 정밀도 차이로 인하여 상부 유닛모듈이 뒤틀리거나, 간격이 벌어지는 등 다양한 문제가 야기될 수 있다. 이러한 배경에서 본 연구는 Pre-Fab 독립기초의 높이조절이 가능한 공법을 개발하는 것을 목적으로 하였다. 이를 위하여 본 연구에서는 볼트와 너트를 이용한 높이조절 공법을 제안하고 시공 상세도와 시공순서를 제시하였다. 그리고 구조 시뮬레이션을 수행하여 구조적 안정성을 확인하였다. 향후 개발된 높이조절 공법의 mock-up 시험, 경제성 분석 등을 실시하여 시공성과 유용성을 검토할 예정이다.

Effects of 3,3′,4,4′,5-pentachloro biphenyl (PCB126) on the Expression the Tight Junction Genes in Cultured Mouse Neonatal Testis

  • In an effort to uncover the spermatogenic impairment by the polychlorinated biphenyls (PCBs), the expression of tight junctions (TJs) genes important for the formation of the blood testis barrier (BTB) were examined following the 3,3',4,4',5-pentachloro biphenyl (PCB126) treatment in cultured neonatal testis in mice. At 4 days (D4) after 10 and 100 nM PCB126 treatment the expression of claudin-11 was significantly increased when compared with vehicle control. In contrast no difference in occludin and claudin-1 expression was found among the experimental group. On D8, 100 nM PCB126 significantly increased the expression of claudin-11 but not occludin and claudin-1. 1 uM PCB126 treatment significantly decreased expressions of occludin and ciaudin -1, suggesting the general toxic effect on the Sertoli cell. Because PCB126 does not alter the proliferative activity of spermatogenic cells and Sertoli cells in neonatal testis, it is likely that increase in the expression of claudin-11 by low dose of PCB126 may attribute to the alteration of the Sertoli cells differentiation in testis. It also emphasized that PCB126 might have differentially affected the transcription of TJ genes in Sertoli cells. In conclusion, this result suggests that the structure of TJ may be targeted by PCB126 in neonatal testis in mice and that co-PCB is potentially harmful to spermatogenesis by alteration of the development of BTB.

환상핀이 부착된 원봉 주위의 3차원 박리 유동구조 및 물질전달 특성 해석 (Local Convective Mass Transfer and Flow Structure Around a Circular Cylinder with Annular Fins)

  • 본 연구에서는 기존 유속계에 의한 측정이 어려운 점을 감안하여 나프탈렌 승 화법을 이용하여 열교환기 시스템의 한 모델인 원봉에 유한한 길이의 환상핀이 부착된 경우 환상핀과 원봉이 만나는 부분에서 와류들 특히 V2, V3등 구석와류가 물질전달을 증가시키는 구조에 대해 고찰한다. 이는 원봉 주위의 환상핀에 의한 대류 물질전달 에 영향을 줄수 있는 레이놀즈수, 환상핀의 크기에 따른 형상비, 그리고 경계층 두께, 배제 두께 등의 유동변수를 변화시켜 가며 물질전달률과의 관계를 규명하여 열교환기 설계의 기본자료를 제공한다. 또한 환상핀 사이의 원봉표면에 대한 전체물질전달률 을 측정하며, 환상핀에 인접한 곳에서 구석와류에 대한 환상핀의 끝 벽면 영향을 알아 보고 이를 근거로 하여 말굽와류의 3차원 박리 유동구조를 정성적으로 규명하고자 한 다.

자동 발췌문/요약 시스템 구축에 관한 연구 - 학술지 논문기사를 중심으로 - (A Study on the Construction of the Automatic Extracts and Summaries - On the Basis of Scientific Journal Articles -)

  • 코퍼스 기반의 제 방법. 담화구조의 수사역할, 유사문장의 통합을 이용하여 발췌문과 기초적 요약문을 자동으로 작성하는 방법론을 구축하였다. 코퍼스에 따른 기법들의 효율적 한계치를 사전에 확인하였고 발췌/요약문의 신축적 작성을 위해서 요약문을 이루는 문장들의 수사역할을 목적, 배경, 방법, 결과. 결론 등으로 정하고 각각의 발췌기를 적용하였다. 발췌 성공률은 $90\%$이었다. 수사역할별로 선정된 문장의 합성과 분리를 위하여 유사도 공식을 이용한 유사문장의 통합, 불필요한 의미의 수식절, 삽입절의 제거, 짧은 문장들과 연결이 가능한 문장들의 합성을 시도하였다. 높은 발췌 성공률을 바탕으로 문장의 수사역할, 절의 용언어미 표징, 단서적 어구와 소재를 가미한 문장 정리 시스템의 개발이 요망된다.

슈로스(Schroth)운동치료와 슬링운동치료가 척추측만증 환자의 유연성, 균형능력, 척추각 및 흉곽 확장에 미치는 효과 비교 (Comparative Effectiveness of Schroth Therapeutic Exercise Versus Sling Therapeutic Exercise in Flexibility, Balance, Spine Angle and Chest Expansion in Patient with Scoliosis)

  • PURPOSE: The purpose of this study suggests the exercise programs for improving the function and structure by applying the Schroth exercise method and sling exercise method to the scoliosis patient. METHODS: The subjects were 16 patients who were diagnosed with scoliosis. They were randomly assigned either to a Schroth exercise group (n=8) that received Schroth exercise program or to a sling exercise group (n=8) that received sling exercise program. Flexibility, static balance, dynamic balance, and spinal angles were measured by using the modified sit and reach test, one leg standing with closed eyes, functional reach test, and Cobb's angle, respectively. The chest expansion were calculated using differences of chest circumference between maximum inspiration and maximum expiration measured under armpits, at the junction between the sternum and xiphoid process, and at the waist. RESULT: Schroth group before and after the intervention there was a difference in the static balance, spine angle, chest expansion (p<.05). sling group before and after the intervention there was a difference in the flexibility, static balance, spine angle, chest expansion (p<.05). There were significantly differences between the both groups for chest expansion thoracic level inspiratory variables at post-exercise. CONCLUSION: These results revealed that two exercise program improved flexibility, static standing balance, spine angle, chest expansion level and ability used as scoliosis management and intervention. Therefore, it is expected to be used as a method for the treatment and prevention in the process of rehabilitation of patients with scoliosis.

투명한 p형 반도체 CuAlO2 박막의 일산화질소 가스 감지 특성 (Nitrogen Monoxide Gas Sensing Characteristics of Transparent p-type Semiconductor CuAlO2 Thin Films)

  • We investigated the detection properties of nitrogen monoxide (NO) gas using transparent p-type $CuAlO_2$ thin film gas sensors. The $CuAlO_2$ film was fabricated on an indium tin oxide (ITO)/glass substrate by pulsed laser deposition (PLD), and then the transparent p-type $CuAlO_2$ active layer was formed by annealing. Structural and optical characterizations revealed that the transparent p-type $CuAlO_2$ layer with a thickness of around 200 nm had a non-crystalline structure, showing a quite flat surface and a high transparency above 65 % in the range of visible light. From the NO gas sensing measurements, it was found that the transparent p-type $CuAlO_2$ thin film gas sensors exhibited the maximum sensitivity to NO gas in dry air at an operating temperature of $180^{\circ}C$. We also found that these $CuAlO_2$ thin film gas sensors showed reversible and reliable electrical resistance-response to NO gas in the operating temperature range. These results indicate that the transparent p-type semiconductor $CuAlO_2$ thin films are very promising for application as sensing materials for gas sensors, in particular, various types of transparent p-n junction gas sensors. Also, these transparent p-type semiconductor $CuAlO_2$ thin films could be combined with an n-type oxide semiconductor to fabricate p-n heterojunction oxide semiconductor gas sensors.

Surface Discharge Characteristics Study on the Laminated Solid Insulator in Quasi-Uniform Electric Field with Dry Air

  • Dry air is an excellent alternative to $SF_6$ gas and is used as an insulation gas in Eco-friendly Gas Insulated Switchgears (EGISs), which has gained popularity in industry. Solid insulators in EGIS play an important role in electrical insulation. On the other hand, surface discharge can occur easily when solid insulators are used. This paper explored the surface discharge characteristics on the structure of three-layered laminated solid insulators to elevate the flashover voltage. A laminated solid insulator was inserted after the quasi-uniform electric field was formed in the test chamber. Dry air was then injected to set the internal pressure to 1 ~ 6 atm, and the AC voltage was applied. When identical solid insulators were stacked, the surface discharge characteristics were similar to those of a single solid insulator. On the other hand, the flashover voltage rose when the middle part was thicker and had lower permittivity than the top and bottom parts in the laminated solid insulator. Based on experimental results, when stacking a solid insulator in three layers, the middle part of the solid insulator should be at least four times as thick as the top and bottom parts and have lower permittivity than the others. In addition, the flashover voltage increased with increasing gas pressure on the surface of the laminated solid insulator due to the gas effect. This study may allow insulation design engineers to have useful information when using dry air for the insulation gas where the surface discharge can occur.

회음부 암성 통증환자에서 시행한 천미골 접합부를 이용한 외톨이 교감 신경절의 정위적 신경절제술 -증례 보고- (Stereotactic Neurotomy of the Ganglion Impar through the Sacrococcygeal Junction in Cancer-Related Perianal Pain -A case report-)

  • The ganglion impar is a solitary retroperitoneal structure at the caudal end of the paravertebral sympathetic chain. Block of this ganglion has been advocated as a means of managing intractable perineal pain. In 1990, Plancarte et al performed a neurolytic block of the ganglion impar using 4-6 ml of 10% phenol through the intergluteal skin over the anococcygeal ligament. However, technical difficulties are encountered with the placement of the needle while performing this technique, with complications from the injection of phenol also being a possibility. In 1995, a modified approach for blocking the ganglion impar through the sacrococcygeal ligament was introduced by Wemm and Saberski. We used a radiofrequency (RF) lesion generator to create a controlled and localized lesion with a lower incidence of neural damages compared to chemical neurolysis. RF thermocoagulation of the ganglion impar through the sacrococcygeal ligament was performed on a 70-year-old male patient with constant anal pain using a curved TEW electrode. The patient has been relieved of his pain, without serious complication. Therefore, this technique may be an easier and safer approach, which is associated with fewer chances of complications.

SnO2 기능성 박막을 이용한 ZnO 기반의 투명 UV 광검출기 (ZnO Based All Transparent UV Photodetector with Functional SnO2 Layer)

  • All transparent UV photodetector based on ZnO was fabricated with structure of NiO/ZnO/$SnO_2$/ITO by using RF and DC magnetron sputtering system. ZnO was deposited with 4 inch ZnO target (purity 99.99%) for a quality film. In order to build p-n junction up, p-type NiO was formed on n-type ZnO by using reactive sputtering method. The indium tin oxide (ITO) which is transparent conducting oxide (TCO) was applied as a transparent electrode for transporting electrons. To improve the UV photodetector performance, a functional $SnO_2$ layer was selected as an electron transporting and hole blocking layer, which actively controls the carrier movement, between ZnO and ITO. The photodetector (NiO/ZnO/$SnO_2$/ITO) shows transmittance over 50% as similar as the transmittance of a general device (NiO/ZnO/ITO) due to the high transmittance of $SnO_2$ for broad wavelengths. The functional $SnO_2$ layer for band alignment effectively enhances the photo-current to be $15{\mu}A{\cdot}cm^{-2}$ (from $7{\mu}A{\cdot}cm^{-2}$ of without $SnO_2$) with the quick photo-responses of rise time (0.83 ms) and fall time (15.14 ms). We demonstrated the all transparent UV photodetector based on ZnO and suggest the route for effective designs to enhance performance for transparent photoelectric applications.
