불규칙파랑의 계통적 취급수법 (Systematic Approach for Predicting Irregular Wave Transformation)

  • 현재 해안공학에 있어서 불규칙파랑을 표현하는 방법으로서 스펙트럼분석법과 파별해석법이 있다. 그 중,스펙트럼해석법은 수심이 깊고 입사파랑의 분산성이 큰 영역에, 파랑분석법은 수심이 얕고 비선형성이 강한 영역 및 석파와 같은 불연속현상을 취급할 경우에 각각적용 되어진다. 그러므로 현지 불규칙파랑장을 계통적으로 취급하기 위해서는 어느 수심영역에서 스펙트럼해석으로부터 파별분석으로 전의해야 할 것인가에 대한 연구가 필요하게 된다. 본 연구는 현지 불규칙파랑의 전파에 의한 변형을 계통적으로 취급할 수 있는 구체적인 방법을 확립하기 위해서 행한 일연의 연구로서 입사파랑의 방향분석이 없는 2차원 불규칙파에 대한 천수을 행하여 스펙트럼해석법의 적용한계, 스펙트럼에서 추정되어지는 파고, 주기의 결합확률분포, 불규칙파의 천수, 석파변형에 대한 파별분석법의 적용한계 등에 대해서 검토한 것이다.

Risk Factors for Recurrence of Anterior Shoulder Instability after Arthroscopic Surgery with Suture Anchors

  • Background: We investigated the risk factors for the recurrence of anterior shoulder instability after arthroscopic surgery with suture anchors and the clinical outcomes after reoperation. Methods: A total of 281 patients (February 2001 to December 2012) were enrolled into our study, and postoperative subluxation and dislocation were considered as recurrence of the condition. We analyzed radiologic results and functional outcome including the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons Evaluation Form, the Korean Shoulder Society Score, and the Rowe scores. Results: Of the 281 patients, instability recurred in 51 patients (18.1%). Sixteen out of 51 patients (31.4%) received a reoperation. In terms of the functional outcome, we found that the intact group, comprising patients without recurrence, had a significantly better functional outcome than those in the recurrent group. The size of glenoid defect at the time of initial surgery significantly differed between intact and recurrent group (p<0.05). We found that the number of dislocations, the time from the initial presentation of symptoms to surgery, and the number of anchor points significantly differed between initial operation and revision group (p<0.05). The functional outcome after revision surgery was comparable to intact group after initial operation. Conclusions: Eighteen percent of recurrence occurred after arthroscopic instability surgery, and 5.6% received reoperation surgery. Risk factors for recurrence was the initial size of glenoid defect. In cases of revision surgery, good clinical outcomes could be achieved using additional suture anchor.

Reliability-based Optimization for Rock Slopes

  • The stability condition of rock slopes is greatly affected by the geometry and strength parameters of discontinuities in the rock masses. Rock slopes Involving movement of rock blocks on discontinuities are failed by one or combination of the three basic failure modes-plane, wedge, and toppling. In rock mechanics, practically all the parameters such as the joint set characteristics, the rock strength properties, and the loading conditions are always subject to a degree of uncertainty. Therefore, a reasonable assessment of the rock slope stability has to include the excavation of the multi-failure modes, the consideration of uncertainties of discontinuity characteristics, and the decision on stabilization measures with favorable cost conditions. This study was performed to provide a new numerical model of the deterministic analysis, reliability analysis, and reliability-based optimization for rock slope stability. The sensitivity analysis was carried out to verify proposed method and developed program; the parameters needed for sensitivity analysis are design variables, the variability of discontinuity properties (orientation and strength of discontinuities), the loading conditions, and rock slope geometry properties. The design variables to be optimized by the reliability-based optimization include the cutting angle, the support pressure, and the slope direction. The variability in orientations and friction angle of discontinuities, which can not be considered in the deterministic analysis, has a greatly influenced on the rock slope stability. The stability of rock slopes considering three basic failure modes is more influenced by the selection of slope direction than any other design variables. When either plane or wedge failure is dominant, the support system is more useful than the excavation as a stabilization method. However, the excavation method is more suitable when toppling failure is dominant. The case study shows that the developed reliability-based optimization model can reasonably assess the stability of rock slopes and reduce the construction cost.

무선 네트워크에서 비디오 스트리밍의 버퍼 오버플로우를 해결하기 위한 토큰버킷 기법 (The Token Bucket Scheme to solve Buffer Overflow of Video Streaming in Wireless Network)

  • 무선 네트워크 환경에서 수신측의 재생 버퍼에 있는 비디오 스트리밍 패킷 정보량은 무선 네트워크 상태에 따라 가변될 수 있다. 이것의 영향으로 예상치 못한 지연과 지터가 발생하고 그에 따라 군집적인 비디오 트래픽이 생성이 될 수 있다. 수신측 재생 버퍼에 들어오는 버퍼 정보량이 특정 버퍼량보다 많아지면 버퍼 오버플로우(buffer overflow)문제가 발생한다. 목적지 수신 버퍼에서 비디오 스트리밍을 서비스 할 경우 이러한 오버플로우 문제는 비디오 스트리밍 서비스의 스킵(skip)현상 및 패킷 손실로 인한 영상의 손실을 일으켜 비디오 품질 저하 및 재생의 불연속성을 발생시킨다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 무선 네트워크 환경에서 비디오 스트리밍의 버퍼 오버플로우 문제를 해결하기 위하여 군집적인 트래픽을 대비하기 위한 토큰 버킷(Token Bucket)기법을 수신측 단말에 적용하고 그 효과를 분석하였다. NS-2(Network Simulation-2)와 JSVM(Joint Scalable Video Model)을 이용하는 모의실험 결과는 제안하는 방법이 오버플로우 발생 횟수, 패킷 손실 비율, PSNR(Peak Signal to Noise Ratio)측면에서 우수함을 확인할 수 있었다.

SS400 강재를 사용한 개량 T-stub 반강접합부의 역학적 거동 (The Structural Behavior of Semi-Rigid Connections with Reformed T-stub by Using of SS400 Steel)

  • 강구조 건축물의 해석과 설계는 기둥-보 접합부가 완전강접이나 핀접합이라는 가정하에 일반적으로 이루어진다. 그러나 실제로는 많은 경우의 접합부형태들이 반강접합의 거동을 보이고 있다. 필자 등은 개량 T-stub로서 SM490강재를 이용하여 반강접합부의 거동을 조사한 바 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 SS400강재로 된 개량 T-stub를 이용한 기둥-보 반강접합부의 구조적 거동을 조사하기 위한 것이다. 연구방법으로서 개량 T-stub요소의 인장, 압축실험과 해석 및 개량 T-stub를 이용한 기둥-보 접합부의 단조가력 및 반복가력실험을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 실험결과로부터 개량 T-stub를 이용한 반강접합부의 적용가능성이 확인되었다.

kNN 알고리즘과 계절별 Landsat TM 위성영상을 이용한 단양군 지역의 지상부 바이오매스 탄소저장량 추정 (Estimation of Aboveground Biomass Carbon Stock in Danyang Area using kNN Algorithm and Landsat TM Seasonal Satellite Images)

  • 원격탐사 자료와 현장 자료를 이용한 산림 바이오매스 탄소량 추정은 전 세계적으로 각광을 받고 있으며, 국내의 경우 2010년 국립산림과학원에서 개발한 수종별 탄소배출계수를 통해 보다 정확한 탄소량 추정이 가능하게 되었다. 본 연구에서는 2006년부터 2009년까지 구축된 제5차 국가산림자원조사(National Forest Inventory, NFI) 자료를 기반으로 k-Nearest Neighbor(kNN) 알고리즘을 이용하여 충청북도 단양군의 지상부 바이오매스 탄소량을 추정하였다. 원격탐사 자료로는 계절 변화가 뚜렷한 한반도의 기후가 산림 지역의 분광 특성 및 이에 따른 탄소량 추정에 미치는 영향을 조사하기 위해 2004년부터 2005년까지 계절별로 취득된 Landsat TM 위성영상을 이용하였다. 분석결과 단양군 지역의 지상부 바이오매스 총 탄소량은 최대 3542768.49tonC에서 최소 3329037.51tonC 사이로 추정되었으나, 계절에 따른 특정 경향은 발견되지 않았다.

  • 세계적으로 기존선 속도향상을 위해 분기기 개량 연구가 진행되어 왔다. 분기기는 선로시스템에서 구조적으로 가장 복잡한 장치로써 안정적인 구조가 필요하다. 이에 분기기 부설시 정확한 조립은 승차감과 열차주행 안전성에 크게 영향을 끼친다. 이러한 문제점 해결을 위해 최근 철도 선진국에서는 분절 PC침목을 이용한 공장에서의 사전 일체화 정밀조립 후 현장까지 운반한다. 본 연구에서는 우리나라에서 처음으로 도입된 분절형 PC침목의 안전성 평가를 위해 실내 성능평가시험을 실시하였다. 시험조건으로 현장에서 STT, MTT와 같은 유지보수 작업시 발행 가능한 최악의 조건을 고려하여 분절침목의 구조적 안전성을 검토하였다.

Reliable Anisotropic Conductive Adhesives Flip Chip on Organic Substrates For High Frequency Applications

  • Flip chip assembly on organic substrates using ACAs have received much attentions due to many advantages such as easier processing, good electrical performance, lower cost, and low temperature processing compatible with organic substrates. ACAs are generally composed of epoxy polymer resin and small amount of conductive fillers (less than 10 wt.%). As a result, ACAs have almost the same CTE values as an epoxy material itself which are higher than conventional underfill materials which contains lots of fillers. Therefore, it is necessary to lower the CTE value of ACAs to obtain more reliable flip chip assembly on organic substrates using ACAs. To modify the ACA composite materials with some amount of conductive fillers, non-conductive fillers were incorporated into ACAs. In this paper, we investigated the effect of fillers on the thermo-mechanical properties of modified ACA composite materials and the reliability of flip chip assembly on organic substrates using modified ACA composite materials. Contact resistance changes were measured during reliability tests such as thermal cycling, high humidity and temperature, and high temperature at dry condition. It was observed that reliability results were significantly affected by CTEs of ACA materials especially at the thermal cycling test. Results showed that flip chip assembly using modified ACA composites with lower CTEs and higher modulus by loading non-conducting fillers exhibited better contact resistance behavior than conventional ACAs without non-conducting fillers. Microwave model and high-frequency measurement of the ACF flip-chip interconnection was investigated using a microwave network analysis. ACF flip chip interconnection has only below 0.1nH, and very stable up to 13 GHz. Over the 13 GHz, there was significant loss because of epoxy capacitance of ACF. However, the addition of $SiO_2filler$ to the ACF lowered the dielectric constant of the ACF materials resulting in an increase of resonance frequency up to 15 GHz. Our results indicate that the electrical performance of ACF combined with electroless Wi/Au bump interconnection is comparable to that of solder joint.

단전호흡 운동프로그램에 참여한 중년여성의 운동효과에 대한 경험 (Effects of Dan-jun Breathing Exercise Program Experienced by Women in Midlife)

  • Purpose : This study focused on affirming of the effects of Dan-jun breathing exercise experienced by women in midlife. Method: The data were collected via direct interview from 20 participants, who participated in a Dan-Jun exercise program during three months. Collected data were analyzed by content analysis. Result : 1. As for the health problems of women in midlife before the Dan-jun exercise program, 93 items were extracted in the content analysis These items were categorized into 59 attributes and 15 higher attributes. 1) Of the 59 attributes of health problems, shoulder pain (30%) was the most dominant. 2) The 15 higher attributes consisted for the physical domain of, weakness, pain, joint stiffness, sexual problem, sleep disorder, gastro-intestinal disorder. menstrual irregularity. circulatory disorder, respiratory disorder. constipation, urinary incontinence, and for the psychological domain, anger, emptiness, depression, and anxiety. 2. As for the effects experienced by women in midlife after the Dan-jun exercise program, 169 items were extracted in the content analysis. These items were categorized into 85 attributes and 14 higher attributes. 1) Of 85 attributes, lightening of physical condition (55%) was the most dominant. 2) The higher attributes consisted in physical domain of, recovery of vigor, pain relief, menstrual regularity and improvements in flexibility. sexual problem, sleep disorder, gastro-intestinal disorder, circulatory disorder constipation, respiratory disorder and urinary incontinence, and for the psychological domain, relaxation, cultured mind and self-confidence. Conclusions : Dan-jun breathing exercise program for three months showed positive effects on physical and psychological health in women in midlife. In this context, it can be also considered as a significant nursing intervention for maintenance and promotion of the health of these women.

녹용약침으로 치료한 De Quervain's Disease 4례 증례보고 (The clinical observations of 4 case of De Quervain's Disease treated with Cervus elaphus Herbal-acupuncture)

  • De Quervain's disease is caused by stenosing tenosynovitis of the first dorsal compartment of the wrist. The first dorsal compartment at the wrist includes the tendons of the abductor pollicis longus (APL) and the extensor pollicis brevis (EPB). Patients with De Quervain's usually report pain at the dorsolateral aspect of the wrist with referral of pain toward the thumb and/or lateral forearm. This condition responds well to nonsurgical treatment. Objective : The aim of this study was to find out the therapeutic effect of the Cervus elaphus Herbal-acupuncture in the treatment of patients with De Quervain's Disease. Design : A prospective study of Cervus elaphus Herbal-acupuncture was conducted. Setting : The study was conducted in the Kang-nam Oriental Hosp. of Dong-Guk University. Patients : The study comprised 4 patients with De Quervain's Disease. Methods : We investigated 4 cases patients the De Quervain's Disease. We evaluated wrist function that before and after Cervus elaphus Herbal-acupuncture treatment by VAS score, tenderness and Finkelstein test. the treatment is operated every other day. Results : Pain reduction(VAS) was found out in the case treated with Cervus elaphus Herbal-acupuncture. Conclusions : Clinical results show that Cervus elaphus Herbal-acupuncture has a good analgesic effect in De Quervain's Disease.
