Recently, the advanced company has been sparing no efforts in improving necessary core knowledge and technology to achieve outstanding work performance. In this rapidly changing knowledge-based society, the company has confronted the task of creating a high value-added knowledge. The role of R&D workforce that corresponds to the characteristic and role of knowledge worker is getting more significant. As the life cycle of technical knowledge and skill shortens, in every industry, the technical knowledge and skill have become essential elements for successful business. It is difficult to improve competitiveness of the company without enhancing the competency of individual and organization. As the competency development which is a part of human resource management in the company is being spread now, it is required to focus on the research of determining necessary competency and to analyze the competency of a core organization in the research institute. 'H' is the semiconductor manufacturing company which has a affiliated research institute with its own R&D engineers. Based on focus group interview and job analysis data, vision and necessary competency were confirmed. And to confirm whether the required competency by job is different or not, analysis was performed by dividing members into workers who are in charge of circuit design and design before process development and who are in the process actualization and process development. Also, this research included members' importance awareness of the determined competency. The interview and job analysis were integrated and analyzed after arranging by groups and contents and the analyzed results were resorted after comparative analysis with a competency dictionary of Spencer & Spencer and competency models which are developed from the advanced research. Derived main competencies are: challenge, responsibility, and prediction/responsiveness, planning a new business, achievement -oriented, training, cooperation, self-development, analytic thinking, scheduling, motivation, communication, commercialization of technology, information gathering, professionalism on the job, and professionalism outside of work. The highly required competency for both jobs was 'Professionalism'. 'Attitude', 'Performance Management', 'Teamwork' for workers in charge of circuit design and 'Challenge', 'Training', 'Professionalism on the job' and 'Communication' were recognized to be required competency for those who are in charge of process actualization and process development. With above results, this research has determined the necessary competency that the 'H' company's affiliated research institute needs and found the difference of required competency by job. Also, it has suggested more enthusiastic education methods or various kinds of education by confirming the importance awareness of competency and individual's level of awareness about the competency.

The package loading process of the lumbering industry is an operation that after a pair of workers bind three or six lumbers into one unit and cut both ends of the lumbers, transports the weight cargo of 30-50kg by one meter, pack and load at a height of 1.2 meters. This package loading process causes lots of noise and wood dust when workers carry out the heavy work as the above. Therefore we developed the monolithic both ends cutting package loading equipment in order to prevent from getting musculoskeletal disease. An loading bar working system of this equipment is improved from pneumatic pressure system to oil pressure system, furnished the newly designed flow dividers, and developed the new system that a both end array is loaded identically. Also we developed the safety equipment of loading bar in order to prevent workers mistake and overload from malfunction during the package loading process. The main cause of job evasion on working place could be solved by preventing the musculoskeletal disease and improving the working environments.

Today, In the Service Industry are more getting a lot of convergence of IT utilization. And global IT companies are strengthening that platform based Services Ecosystems. These business in the field, Ecosystem Competitive strategy is difficult to imitate. And this strategy is generated organic Business Model that a by Competitive-Predominance to brings. In addition, the added value of the Service Industry is taken, a new type of job creation by the ripple-effect is huge. However, existing the Ecosystem Theory of Business is a lack of research on the use. Thus, Ecosystem Construction conditions is very difficult. This study is try to successful Platform Case's Analysis such as Apple, Google, Amazon, eBay's. These Ecosystems is that want to know the Major attributes. At first, would be analyzing to previous research, the Service and Knowledge Services' major attributes and Ecosystem studies' major attributes to grasp. Then, from a Group of Experts is to assess the importance. Finally, according to each Platform, examined the Correlation of Major Attributes.

Purpose: This study was done to use preceptorship in an ordered elective clinical nursing practice and to evaluate the effects on student nurses, nurses managers and preceptors. Method: The participants in this study were 208 students who were majors in the department of nursing, G college located in Inchon Metropolitan City, 54 nurse managers and 187 preceptors from 11 general hospitals. The instrument was a questionnaire which included general characteristics of participants, and 21 items to evaluate the ordered elective clinical nursing practice on a scale of 1 to 4. Data were collected from October 23 to November 7. 2004. Data analysis was done using SPSS WIN with the following statistics: frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, and ANOVA. Results and Conclusions: The results of data analysis were as follows: There were meaningful differences in the evaluation scores of the ordered elective clinical nursing practice with preceptors between students ($3.33{\pm}.39$) and nurse managers ($3.33{\pm}.28$) and preceptors ($3.23{\pm}.38$). Evaluation scores for the ordered elective clinical nursing practice with preceptors were categorized as follows: necessity and appropriateness, practice control and management, material for practice, practice report assignment and evaluation, practice ability improvement and connection with getting a job, and contribution to the hospitals.

Purpose: The purpose of this phenomenological research was to identify nurses's experience of verbal violence from doctor in hospital setting. Methods: The participants of this study were twelve nurses who work at a hospital in Chungbuk. Data was collected through documents, observation, and tape-recorded in-depth interview individually from participants. It was analyzed using the phenomenological methodology by Colaizzi. Results: From significant statements, seven categories were identified as follows: Lowering self-esteem due to authoritative and insulting remarks, Getting angry and being disagreeable due to blunt remarks, Being disgraceful due to broad jokes sexually, Hoping to escape present due to skepticism in their job, Being estranged due to bad feeling, Expressing their anger, and Using various way for improvement of relationship. Conclusion: Nurses's experience of verbal violence was showed nurse-doctor relationship was still vertical, not collaborative and supportive. This vertical relationship would cause conflicts between doctor and nurse. Therefore it is need doctor to be changed the mind that nurse is a professional, and to come up with the plan for enhancing inter-collaborative relationship in order to solve conflict between them.

Diet is an important focus in solidifying the fundamentals of health; thus, it is necessary to offer and manage accurate and correct information. This study examined the effects of body part satisfaction and attitude on diet, in female college students, who are known to be very interested in their appearances and tend to have a strong propensity to consume. The data were gathered using questionnaires answered by 101 female college students living in Daegu City, after classifying the women into normal weight and overweight groups, respectively. According to the analyzed results, there were no significant differences in satisfaction by body part between the normal weight and overweight groups, however, both groups were found to be dissatisfied with the following body parts, in the order of: thighs > legs > and hips. The motivation factors for weight control were found to be in order: not having a boyfriend > lacking of confidence > seeing slender entertainment stars, and there were no significant differences between the two groups. Finally, the main reasons for weight control were in order: appearance > health > getting a job. It is anticipated that these results will contribute to preparing systematic solutions to promote healthy diets and body satisfaction in society, and will help bring a desirable change in perceptions about diet.

In 1995, the department of multimedia-related study was first founded in Technical Institute and has carried out the fundamental education at academic level in trial and error. Following a bubble situation of multimedia-related industries, the education of multimedia-related departments has mass-produced hurriedly prepared multimedia designers and programmers. With the current IMF economic crisis, demand for the multimedia expert manpower has shrunk drastically and competitiveness for getting a job becomes intense. Therefore, it is an urgent problem to specialize the multimedia education of Technical Institute and to differentiate it from the education of Universe. In this paper, I am going to analyze the cause of various practical problems occurring in the multimedia education in Technical Institute and to suggest the solution and education goal for the specialized and differentiated education in multimedia-related department of Technical Institute.

Matching customers becomes the key function in on-line mediate services. There are two matching methods: one-directional matching that requires requests from one side(e,g., information searching), bi-directional matching that considers requests from both sides. Previous bi-directional matching has difficulties of getting the interests explicitly and service collapse problems when the opposite side do not put responding interests. This paper attempts to automate the inputs of interests for bi-directional matching by calculating the interests with fuzzy matching algorithm for optimization. The results of the proposed Bi-directional Fuzzy Matching(BDFM) algorithm told that the job placement accuracy of employment information matching results is over 95%. And, BDFM gives statically significant positive effect for motivating the employment activities when analyzed the effect after completing the implementation.

An official report printed in June, 2005 represents that there are 180 thousands people with visual impairments in Korea, and 10 thousands of people with visual impairments are newly increased by every year since 2000. They are neglected from getting education, selecting job, and enjoying recreation activity. Above all, they have strong restriction when they are walking on the street; they are facing difficulty and inconvenience. Many smart cane products were introduced but expensive cost blocked popularization of them. In this study we have an object to development of smart cane that is chip and proper for korean street. For this, we suggest basic design of smart cane and experiment on ultrasonic sensors for visually impaired person.

An introductory computer use course for students in the department of nursing at a university investigated in this study is carried through effective and systematic curriculum with its goal of achieving MOS certification, which is accepted internationally. This course direction is set in consideration of the course analysis and the nursing department's advantage in getting a job overseas. This study investigated the effects of the nursing students' course satisfaction and self efficacy on their MOS certification scores to present suggestions to improve the course.
